Hijab Fetish is getting out of control. I wish Edward Said were still around to denounce this worsening outbreak of Orientalism.

Okay, here’s the last fundraising pitch for April, one of the three months of the year (along with December and August) when I hassle you for donations. I sometimes find myself discouraged, but then my loyal readers chip in with cash in its manifold forms, which I find highly encouraging. Say not the struggle nought availeth.

Here are eight ways for you to contribute to me, iSteve:

First: You can use Paypal (non-tax deductible) by going to the page on my old blog here. Paypal accepts most credit cards. Contributions can be either one-time only, monthly, or annual. (Monthly is nice.)

Second: You can mail a non-tax deductible donation to:

Steve Sailer

P.O Box 4142

Valley Village, CA 91617

Third: You can make a tax deductible contribution via VDARE by clicking here.

Please don’t forget to click my name at the VDARE site so the money goes to me:

Screenshot 2017-12-23 15.25.23

VDARE has been kiboshed from use of Paypal for being, I dunno, EVIL. But you can give via credit cards, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin, check, money order, or stock.

Note: the VDARE site goes up and down on its own schedule, so if this link stops working, please let me know.

Fourth: if you have a Wells Fargo bank account, you can transfer money to me (with no fees) via Wells Fargo SurePay/Zelle. Just tell WF SurePay/Zelle to send the money to my ancient AOL email address steveslrAT aol.com — replace the AT with the usual @). (Non-tax deductible.) Please note, there is no 2.9% fee like with Paypal or Google Wallet, so this is good for large contributions.

Fifth: if you have a Chase bank account (or even other bank accounts), you can transfer money to me (with no fees) via Chase QuickPay/Zelle (FAQ). Just tell Chase QuickPay/Zelle to send the money to my ancient AOL email address (steveslrATaol.com — replace the AT with the usual @). If Chase asks for the name on my account, it’s StevenSailer with an n at the end of Steven. (Non-tax deductible.) There is no 2.9% fee like with Paypal or Google Wallet, so this is also good for large contributions.

Sixth: send money via the Paypal-like Google Wallet to my Gmail address (that’s isteveslrATgmail .com — replace the AT with a @). (Non-tax deductible.)

Seventh: [Warning: Does this still work?] You can use Bitcoin using Coinbase. Coinbase payments are not tax deductible. Below are links to two Coinbase pages of mine. This first is if you want to enter a U.S. dollar-denominated amount to pay me.

Pay With Bitcoin (denominated in U.S. Dollars)

This second is if you want to enter a Bitcoin-denominated amount. (Remember one Bitcoin is currently worth many U.S. dollars.)

Pay With Bitcoin (denominated in Bitcoins)

Eighth: At one reader’s request, I recently added Square as an 8th fundraising medium, although I’m vague on how it works. If you want to use Square, send me an email telling me how much to send you an invoice for. Or, if you know an easier way for us to use Square, please let me know.

Thanks.

  1. Every year, February 1st is World Hijab Day.

    Surely, you mean April 1st.
  2. If that’s the way it’s gonna be, fans can just subscribe any time of the year to actually read the magazine and fall in love with their sportsball stars that way. It’d be like buying Playboy for the politics, were they to replaced the centerfolds with Bernie Sanders profiles.

I guess sales DON’T matter, after all. You were in marketing, Steve, right? Is that correct, sales don’t matter?

Sports Illustrated is circling the drain. I would expect it to cease operations in less than five years. They made the decision to change the swimsuit issue from an issue with attractive models appealing to men to a woke women's fashion issue over the last few years. Part of the problem has been adjusting to the digital age, but the writing decline has been tremendous. My dad subscribed for decades and I used to look up words I learned from the magazine in the dictionary as a kid. Now I don't know anyone who has a subscription. Here is a good article on it's demise from a year ago.

Looks like SI is going the way of the NFL with the virtue-signaling PC BS.

You know... the funny thing is that they'd never do a photo spread on some hot white Christian woman from a fundamentalist sect wearing an ankle skirt with a covered head on the beach.

And the Times would never report on such a white Christian woman in a praiseworthy way... to the contrary they'd have an article from from Jewish feminist denouncing a modest white Christian woman as "oppressed by the patriarchy."

Somehow, covered and veiled women who follow the teachings of the oppressive, theocratic patriarch Muhammad aren't victims, though.
    , @Anonymous
Not that it matters any more, but pre-Internet Playboy interviews with politicians tended to be worthwhile... I never read the infamous Jimmy Carter one, but I remember an intriguing back-and-forth with then-mayor Dennis Kucinich (and no, they didn't throw in any gratuitous pictures of his wife) (and no, I meant the wife BEFORE the current British statuesque redhead wife) (Great Google moment: they show Cuomo's new wife)

As long as they do it consistently. Which means they should ban Catholics from wearing crucifixes and Jews from wearing yarmulkes.

If you're going to target Muslims specifically then you're sailing dangerously close to saying that religions you don't approve of should be banned. So don't complain when such laws get used against Christians.
  5. That’s not a hijab in that photo! That headwear is more similar to that of a religious Jewish woman.

  7. Outrageous cultural appropriation by Sports Illustrated!

Better yet, no matter what color the girl, get her to wear it wrapped very low around her hips like she's got no where to put it, as with women who wear sweaters like that to hide that their rear ends are bigger than you'd like. Just have her pose as if the weather is too hot for it, then show her bikini-style burkunderwear and thighs exposed. I'd get a few pokie-woman points up for that.

Later you can photoshop the lips, skin color, and hair back to normal.
    , @Reg Cæsar

Could they not get an attractive Caucasian Arab to model it

Do you know how rare those are?

That whole crossroads area from Iberia to Pakistan is chock-a-block with facial "disharmonies" from relatively recent race mixings, often big noses on little faces. And hairy women. That may be the origin of Burton's "Sotadic Zone", where the men would rather bugger boys.

The East Africans may also be racial mixes, but those happened thousands of years ago, and time has softened the edges.

Also, Somalis encourage femininity in their women, which is certainly not true of the Arabs.
  9. The whole idea of the hijab or burka is to hide women’s beauty and allure, thereby not causing them to tempt otherwise “good” Muslim men into sin. In addition, photography is considered haram under Islam. So this is hypocrisy on a grand scale and for multiple reasons. And she’s not even that pretty…merely young.

    • Replies: @Forbes
So it's a kind of mix-n-match cultural appropriation.

SI champions the "first-ever" of something foreign/exotic/bizarre as clickbait in search of eyeballs, then ignores respecting the relevant cultural tradition and practices surrounding that promoted with the clickbait.

And the PC/SJW brigades, who never once read SI, stand and applaud the bravery, the breakthrough, the inclusion, the latest fad and fashion of the zeitgeist...

And to think my then-wife had me cancel my SI subscription (25 years ago) due to the annual swimsuit issue that appeared two weeks after the Super Bowl.

    , @guest
You must grade on a curve with Somalis, a people untouched by the privilege of beauty.

Agreed. I see it as the beginning of liberalism's war on Islam. They intend to undermine Islam the way they undermined Christianity. Muslims should utterly reject this nonsense as an attack on their religion.
  10. • Replies: @Citizen of a Silly Country
Exactly. There's no hijab fetish. This is left shoving in your face that they hate you and can't wait until you, your people and your culture are dead.

It's that simple, and it explains everything.

"The People want inclusion and diversity."

Go look at any high school cafeteria, and the way the kids group themselves will tell you "diversity" doesn't come naturally. When you have to constantly preach something and even enforce it by law, that's a good sign the people DON'T want it.

No one has to preach "donuts taste good" and pass a law forcing you to have them in the office OR ELSE!
    , @anon
i didn't realize anyone still read Sports Illustrated

The People want inclusion and diversity.

    black and brown certainly do

    i wonder why?
  13. Maybe Pope Francis can help fund the hijab-oppressed in their PR offensive against the racist Americans, like he helped another massive group of Latin American caravaners, urging them to break US law by giving them $500,000 to aid them on their illegal border-crossing trek.

Pope Francis says the US owes the caravaners jobs and free stuff to reward them for womb-productive sex. His compassion is selective, sex-and-reproduction-focused and race-centric. The Pope may as well help bikini-clad SI hijab wearers in fighting American racism via lucrative cover-girl stints with American magazines.

You don’t hear Pope Francis taking up for the 95 million American citizens out of the labor force who also lack jobs. You don’t hear him questioning why half of the “employed persons” in the USA are just part-time workers or why he thinks it’s fair to flood the USA with even more noncitizen competitors for scarce, full-time, rent-covering jobs.

Is Pope Francis trying to kill off more underemployed white Americans than have already bitten the dust? Life expectancy for US citizens, especially whites, is down for the third year in a row after decades of mass migration, wage stagnation, rising rents and many other through-the-roof prices for necessities.

Why is Pope Francis taking up for a select group of God’s children, specifically the millions who break into the USA, after which they qualify for multilayers of free food, free rent, free monthly cash, free electricity and refundable child tax credit windfalls up to $6,431 to reward them for 1) sex and reproduction in a single-breadwinner household and 2) a little part-time work that keeps them below the earned-income limits for America’s many sex-and-reproduction-based welfare programs?

Why would a compassionate Pope facilitate an illegal invasion that has played a huge role in suppressing wages for 40 years for the American people in their own country’s labor market, providing cheap, greedy employers with an endless stream of welfare-eligible noncitizen servants who do not need higher pay due to their welfare eligibility, thereby undercutting US citizens and, ultimately, killing a lot of them off.

The Pope’s support of this corrupt and brutal system of wage suppression is immoral.

You don’t hear the Pope bemoaning the fact that the “rich” USA has thousands of homeless citizens, using gutters for their pillows. Pope Francis had a photo op at an American homeless shelter. But he certainly did not hand out $500,000 to homeless US citizens, even though almost all of them qualify for far less free stuff from the US government than womb-productive noncitizens—far, far less—almost nothing unless they are custodial parents of kids under 18.

Visiting American homeless shelters provides okay Pope PR, but not blockbuster Pope PR, like handing out $500,000 in cash to “poor” womb producers from Latin America who will get more cash from the US government (and from the racist US population via charities) to reward them for womb-productive sex after they bust into this country, illegally.

No matter how many underemployed Americans that mass migration hurts or even kills off—not just due to the increased violent crime that a few Americans will experience, but also due to increasing underemployment of citizens, rising rents, more competitors for housing units and homelessness—the Pope’s politically correct PR stunt comes first.

Worst Pope ever! In my lifetime at least. The most stupid, the most senile, I will be glad when he is replaced. In my book The Vatican is gay ruled these days and this accounts for the present Pope's madcap actions like very publicly washing the feet of African refugees. Submit, ye moron Pope!

How many black African refugees is The Vatican hosting these days?
    , @Paleo Liberal
Catholicism only makes sense if the earth contains unlimited land and resources, or if the mortality rate is so high there are population shortages.

The assumption is that what the Pope thinks God wanted in the Bronze Age is identical to what God actually wants in a world of 7 billion and growing fast.
    , @AnotherDad

    Endgame--agree.

A reasonable compassionate Catholic position would be for the dignity of labor in all nations and for the right of people in all nations to live peacefully enjoying their own traditions and developing their nations in the interest of their people.

    ~

My natural quip here would be that this pope spouting destructive PC nonsense is what you get when you allow any institution to be run by fags--or women.

However--in fairness--the mainline Protestant denominations, which are in theory controlled by the presumably overwhelmingly hetero elders of their individual congregations are in even worse shape!

    ~

The bottom line here is that basically a culture--i.e. the West--simply can not survive when it's culture is hijacked by a minority, minoritarian ideology.

In a rather great feat of ideological judo, (mostly) the Jews managed to re-interpret and re-purpose the World War which was clearly an agressive late-to-the-party naked-imperialism by Germany and Japan, into "evil nationalism".

Pretty bizarre, when the War started--officially--over Poland's right to exist and the wartime propaganda was all the allied nations united against Axis aggression. And post-War--exhausted and embarassed--the early-to-the-party imperialists, started cleaning up their imperialism--some stuff very quickly--Philippines, India, Pakistan, Palestine, Jordan, Indonesia; but almost everything of any weight--Vietnam, Malaysia, Nigeria, Congo, Tanzannia, Kenya, Rhodesia, Singapore--decolonized within 20 years.

But using with Hollyweird and tapping the political/academic/financial power of the US, somehow the boogeyman became not "imperialism"--a very legitimate boogeyman--but "nationalism"--weirdly what all these new countries had struggled mightily to obtain. And finally boiled down into just "bad whitey!--don't you even dare think about having your own nations!"

And now we live under what's really a hyper-imperialism, where no nation is allowed to just "be", and every nation, state, city, village, hamlet--heck every bakery!--must be "open" and "diverse" and comply with every ridiculous diktat of globohomo.

Steve REALLY REALLY needs to write a TAKIS article on woke capital and its mission to always “denigrate the customer” (when said customer is straight, white, and male). The very first embers of the Trump revolution may very well have been lit with Gamer Gate. And because I was not a gamer, and felt I had better things to do than follow some obsessive Internet weirdo’s 200-slide evidence trail of reconstructed incriminating emails and message board posts, I laughed at the Gamer Gaters.

But Gamer Gate was basically a perfect Luftwaffe-over-Spain dry run for the playbook they’ve since run on us countless times. Hand over some cultural or consumer product to SJW loons, have them POZ it to the point they are blatantly insulting their overwhelmingly normie straight male, likely white male, customers, wait for the inevitable overreaction on the Internet boards, then have their JOURNO-lackey buddies media blast the worst of it on the news for the next half month, and, o yeah, snark personal insults at them as well about what unloveable basement-dwelling losers they must be.

I swear I did not seek out any controversy re: Gillette’s recent toxic masculinity razor blade ad, and yet on a freakin’ coupons and deals site where someone mentioned they’d never buy Gillette again, there was an NPC right away on them with all the pre-fab talking points- why are you so butt-hurt? why are you so male fragile? Your wife/girlfriend loves the ad and she buys all your blades so there’s nothing you can do about it HA HA! (Oh, you have no wife/girlfriend?). Who are these people? Are they friends of some of the people who created the ad? Paid shills for Gillette? CIA?

The future is not some boot stamping on a human face forever. It is the NIKE signature Colin Kaepernick cleats you just willingly charged $300 to your credit card stomping on your face forever.

Rabbi found guilty of money laundering won’t go to prison thanks to a ‘selfless life,’ judge says

By Amanda Hoover | NJ Advance Media For NJ.com

A New Jersey rabbi found guilty of laundering $200,000 from a private school for children with developmental disabilities was sentenced Monday afternoon to two years probation.

    https://www.nj.com/news/2019/04/rabbi-found-guilty-of-money-laundering-wont-go-to-prison-thanks-to-a-selfless-life-judge-says.html

The rabbi used $200,000 in school funds in a money laundering scheme designed to make it appear that he used personal funds to repay debts he owed to the School for Children with Hidden Intelligence, the attorney general’s office said.

    https://www.nj.com/ocean/2019/02/rabbi-who-ran-school-for-children-with-disabilities-found-guilty-of-laundering-money-but-jury-acquits-on-other-charges.html

New definition of 'money laundering'. I would instead say the rabbi 'stole' the money.

Bucca said the letters sent by Eisemann’s supporters “overwhelmed” him, and that he had not seen such a showing of support in his years sitting as a criminal judge.

He said the rabbi’s “selfless life is very clear. In many respects this is a very, very unfortunate situation.”

Bucca also said he hopes Eisemann can return to the school, despite the second degree conviction, and hopes the state Department of Education will consider making an exception, given Eisemann’s decades-long reputation.

“You belong there,” he said. “You perform a unique skill for that school.”

Judge Benjamin Bucca seems like such a nice person.

He was found not guilty of theft. He stole no money at all. He seems to have moved it around and made his payment within 12 days. Although it is not clear, as the reporters obviously do not understand what occurred, it appears he gave himself a 12 day extension on a loan. He did not steal the money. Hence the bizarre charge of money laundering. For this he will pay a fine of $250,000. The sentence seems perfectly appropriate to me. Jail time would be a huge waste.
    , @J.Ross
Really? Never before have certain people been exempted from legal penalties? Pretty sure this has happened before, and the way it ends is with the resentment of the people the law does still apply to.
  26. @Endgame Napoleon

In my book The Vatican is gay ruled these days and this accounts for the present Pope’s madcap actions like very publicly washing the feet of African refugees. Submit, ye moron Pope!

another trend hurting SI and other magazines is the target audience is getting smaller. The Demographics of their customers is in decline. Compare the demographics of 25-45 Year-olds in 1990 and 2010.

    Demographics from US census data
    24-45 -- 1990 - 2010
    White* - 65 M - 47 M
    Black -- 10 M - 12 M
    Hispanic - 9 M - 18 M

*non-hispanic whites - 18 million fewer in 2010 than in 1990 between the ages of 25-45. Hispanics and Blacks are less interested in reading SI or reading in general. It is notable that the Black population in this key demographic group grew by 20% between 1990 and 2010 as the white population fell 27% and the hispanic population doubled.

My point exactly. It's like the Muslim women you see out in public wearing colorful, sequined hijabs and a ton of makeup. It kind of defeats the purpose and actually supports the belief of Muslim men that women can't resist the urge to flaunt their beauty and should be covered, lest they lure "good" Muslim men into sin. No doubt it is in the nature of women to love displaying their beauty and having attention heaped on them, but it's like everything else: there can be too much (or too little) of a good thing. Going from the crudity and naked displays of our pop culture to the extreme of burkas and hijabs is not the answer.

The cultural sphere is pretty much die White man die.

    Almost 24/7.

As Marvel goes 100% woke, no White men need apply, something will fill that void. Something. Culturally, socially and politically. For White men.

We are seeing a direct line from Columbine to Breivik to Tarant to the latest mass casualty shooter. That's attempting to fill that space. There are others. But mass culture abandoned White men completly and that has consequences.

Islam is a non starter. Muslims will share neither theirs nor our women who all belong to them. They are tribal and as far from White men as humans get. No White man can ever be a real Muslim and they know it.

    Something will fill that space.

    Demographics from US census data
    24-45 — 1990 – 2010
    White* – 65 M – 47 M
    Black — 10 M – 12 M

*non-hispanic whites – 18 million fewer in 2010 than in 1990 between the ages of 25-45. Hispanics and Blacks are less interested in reading SI or reading in general. They really aren't on the whole. The vast majority do not look like David Bowie's wife. Didn't the narrator of Fight Club once describe a cancer patient as looking like Joni Mitchell's skeleton had been dipped in wax? Somalis are like that, but with more melanin. Their more middle-eastern features combine badly with their African ones to create a worst of both worlds effect. For example, deep-set eyes, and narrower(but not aquiline) noses combine with generally chubby cheeks(even in slender ones) to give the impression of an overgrown child/emaciated chipmunk.

While the ones in the motherland are generally slender, once Somalis get to the west, a huge percentage of the women quickly become obese. Male weight might be controlled in part by Khat chewing. The problem is that when a Somali woman gains weight, her frame doesn't accommodate the extra fat in an aesthetically pleasing way. Women of European, sub-continental and West-African descent can generally get away with a few extra pounds because the fat gets distributed around her breasts/butt/thighs, so she becomes more pear-shaped. Somali women get rolls around their gut and neck. The wearing of billowy clothing also means they generally don't need to worry about it showing in public.

I'll take a normal sub-Saharan African woman over a Somali any day of the week.

There are many beautiful Iranian/Pashtun women, but they have to spend a ton of time/money on hair removal. I'd imagine pressure to continue such habits/resent at said pressure is a major strain on marriages for such women who live in countries where you can't beat your wife.

As for the hijab fetish, aside from Muslims being the chosen minority du jour, the modesty they project makes them seen unattainable, which is like catnip for a certain type of man. You'd probably find similar fetishism directed towards young Mormon missionary women if so many of them weren't white.

Forget Somalis, plus their women are brainwashed and useless. The Muslim women that need our attention and liberation are in Iran and Lebanon. There are some real beauties under those yards of draping and tent materials. The Christian women in Lebanon can dress fairly freely. We need to get rid of the stinky Ayatollahs and Mullahs in Iran and encourage female immigration from there.

Later you can photoshop the lips, skin color, and hair back to normal.

women who wear sweaters like that to hide that their rear ends are bigger than you’d like

Isn’t more likely to be rear ends that they don’t like? The crass, deplorable men I associate with don’t seem to have any negative issues with larger rear ends – unlike the female owners of the rear ends in question.

As a friend of mine once said: “Second thing most bloke look at.”

  67. @TTSSYF
The whole idea of the hijab or burka is to hide women's beauty and allure, thereby not causing them to tempt otherwise "good" Muslim men into sin. In addition, photography is considered haram under Islam. So this is hypocrisy on a grand scale and for multiple reasons. And she's not even that pretty...merely young.

So it’s a kind of mix-n-match cultural appropriation.

SI champions the “first-ever” of something foreign/exotic/bizarre as clickbait in search of eyeballs, then ignores respecting the relevant cultural tradition and practices surrounding that promoted with the clickbait.

And the PC/SJW brigades, who never once read SI, stand and applaud the bravery, the breakthrough, the inclusion, the latest fad and fashion of the zeitgeist…

And to think my then-wife had me cancel my SI subscription (25 years ago) due to the annual swimsuit issue that appeared two weeks after the Super Bowl.

  68. ‘Hijab Fetish is getting out of control. I wish Edward Said were still around to denounce this worsening outbreak of Orientalism.’

I wouldn’t fret. This should pass quickly.

Lately, the chattering classes have been introducing fashions and discarding them with ever-accelerating speed. It used to be intellectual concepts stuck around for a while: the ‘organization man,’ the ‘Red menace,’ the ‘counter-culture.’ All genuinely valid at the time, and good for a few years, until finally rendered irrelevant by social or diplomatic change.

Now it’s speeding up. The cognoscenti introduce something, it goes over like a lead balloon, they drop it and introduce something else. Transexual bathrooms, ‘Black Lives Matter,’ ‘White Privilege,’ ‘Trump is a Russian agent,’ white/black couples. They come and go in a matter of months — or even weeks. I first noticed this with ‘white privilege.’ I’d barely assembled my thoughts on that fatuity — and it was gone. The phrase had vanished from actual, current usage.

So ‘hijabs’ will be here so briefly you’ll barely have a chance to throw a fit before they’re gone.

A big thing in women’s fashion lately is “ size inclusivity”. In other words obesity. Even Saks, Nordstrom’s and Niemans feature incredibly over sized baggy tops and dresses. The dresses and tops are what my mother and I wore at 8 months pregnant.

One article I recently read in Glamour was how to solve the problem of what if you fall between the largest normal size
( size 18) and the smallest size for the truly obese, that’s sized X, XX and XXX.

Warm weather in S Cal. And the 350 pound men are strolling around in their size gargantuan shorts and T shorts.

And the nutritionists are recommending less and less meat and more and more “ healthy carbs” aka noodles rice beans tortillas egg roll wrappers and bread. Read the labels on the bread you buy. Health food whole grain bread has about 40 calories a slice more that plain white bread. The reason that whole and multi grain bread tastes so good is that it has sugar in it. Molasses fructose, sugar is sugar.

A couple of years ago the SI swimsuit edition came out with three covers to chose from: a beautiful woman, an athlete and a fat woman . I tried to find comparative sales figures but I gave up after a few minutes.

That was 2016. Everyone can see the three covers here (and all of the others 1964-2018):
    https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-body/pictures/sports-illustrated-swimsuit-issue-covers-through-the-years-w161669/2015-w161670/

It is interesting that in 2017 they had three separate covers again, but all were Kate Upton. 2018 was a single cover.

This has some good information: https://www.businessinsider.com/business-facts-about-the-sports-illustrated-swimsuit-issue-2013-2

SI has ~3 million subscribers and the swimsuit issue sells ~1 million copies on the newsstand.

I wonder how they decided which cover to send to subscribers and how much of each to stock at newsstands. Does anyone have any idea? I doubt we will ever see the sales figures you want.

I also wonder if 2016 was penance for 2015: https://www.forbes.com/sites/markheisler/2015/02/09/what-swimsuit-issue-really-shows-the-decline-of-sports-illustrated

Rabbi found guilty of money laundering won’t go to prison thanks to a ‘selfless life,’ judge says

By Amanda Hoover | NJ Advance Media For NJ.com

A New Jersey rabbi found guilty of laundering $200,000 from a private school for children with developmental disabilities was sentenced Monday afternoon to two years probation.

    https://www.nj.com/news/2019/04/rabbi-found-guilty-of-money-laundering-wont-go-to-prison-thanks-to-a-selfless-life-judge-says.html

The rabbi used $200,000 in school funds in a money laundering scheme designed to make it appear that he used personal funds to repay debts he owed to the School for Children with Hidden Intelligence, the attorney general’s office said.

    https://www.nj.com/ocean/2019/02/rabbi-who-ran-school-for-children-with-disabilities-found-guilty-of-laundering-money-but-jury-acquits-on-other-charges.html

New definition of ‘money laundering’. I would instead say the rabbi ‘stole’ the money.

You may be right but they really only need to find one.

Just a couple of things on that long list, A.D. are actually policy issues that can (continue to) ruin the country, open borders, and reparations. All the rest of those are things we CAN all do something about, in our own neighborhood.

For every single other thing on there:

    - Don't let someone get away with telling you any of this without retorting back, nicely or otherwise, with the truth.

    - Don't participate or agree with anyone in your family participating in the stupidity.

    - Don't support the media portion of this with ANY of your money.

I'm NOT saying go put your heads down in the sand. It's not the same thing. Don't let anyone think you are agreeing with any of this stupidity, and don't help it grow. That's all it really takes to stop this kind of stupidity in its tracks, just a modicum of effort and personal courage by tens of millions of Americans.

Big-time Sports Inc, of which SI is a part, is just another industry or institution that has been captured by the SJW Left.

“If voting could actually change things, they’d ban it.” One of those d!ck slogans of the Cold War-era far-left (“it’s not me and my attitude and my ideas that’s the problem, it’s society!”) that nonetheless still stick in your head. The alt-right contemporary equivalent is the idea that Hollywood, print media, etc. are all money-losing loss leader industries whose real purpose is to act as indoctrination engines of globohomo. Except that it’s becoming increasingly true!

At the beach about ten years ago I saw a Muslim woman go into the water fully clad. She was not a nutty fanatic in black garb. She had on some billowy white outfit, and this is what she went in the water with. She was with hubs and a few children.

Australia has a show about Bondi beach lifeguards, and they spend a significant portion of their time scooping fully clad hijabis out of the water, along with various other vibrants who don’t know how to swim but want to splash around in 4 foot swells

They really aren’t on the whole. The vast majority do not look like David Bowie’s wife. Didn’t the narrator of Fight Club once describe a cancer patient as looking like Joni Mitchell’s skeleton had been dipped in wax? Somalis are like that, but with more melanin. Their more middle-eastern features combine badly with their African ones to create a worst of both worlds effect. For example, deep-set eyes, and narrower(but not aquiline) noses combine with generally chubby cheeks(even in slender ones) to give the impression of an overgrown child/emaciated chipmunk.

While the ones in the motherland are generally slender, once Somalis get to the west, a huge percentage of the women quickly become obese. Male weight might be controlled in part by Khat chewing. The problem is that when a Somali woman gains weight, her frame doesn’t accommodate the extra fat in an aesthetically pleasing way. Women of European, sub-continental and West-African descent can generally get away with a few extra pounds because the fat gets distributed around her breasts/butt/thighs, so she becomes more pear-shaped. Somali women get rolls around their gut and neck. The wearing of billowy clothing also means they generally don’t need to worry about it showing in public.

I’ll take a normal sub-Saharan African woman over a Somali any day of the week.

There are many beautiful Iranian/Pashtun women, but they have to spend a ton of time/money on hair removal. I’d imagine pressure to continue such habits/resent at said pressure is a major strain on marriages for such women who live in countries where you can’t beat your wife.

As for the hijab fetish, aside from Muslims being the chosen minority du jour, the modesty they project makes them seen unattainable, which is like catnip for a certain type of man. You’d probably find similar fetishism directed towards young Mormon missionary women if so many of them weren’t white.

It's real, of course, because we're in Clown World now.

Related to your second question, it does make one ask why the owners of Cosmopolitan would publish something like this, pushing their readers' faces into it, so to speak. (Also note the cuck porn headline to the left of the huge woman, "Why I Vetted My Wife's Affair".) Same thing about that Teen Vogue perv propaganda.

Meanwhile, publications intended for the affluent seem not to have made such bold moves.

  105. @Endgame Napoleon

    Endgame–agree.

A reasonable compassionate Catholic position would be for the dignity of labor in all nations and for the right of people in all nations to live peacefully enjoying their own traditions and developing their nations in the interest of their people.

    ~

My natural quip here would be that this pope spouting destructive PC nonsense is what you get when you allow any institution to be run by fags–or women.

However–in fairness–the mainline Protestant denominations, which are in theory controlled by the presumably overwhelmingly hetero elders of their individual congregations are in even worse shape!

    ~

The bottom line here is that basically a culture–i.e. the West–simply can not survive when it’s culture is hijacked by a minority, minoritarian ideology.

In a rather great feat of ideological judo, (mostly) the Jews managed to re-interpret and re-purpose the World War which was clearly an agressive late-to-the-party naked-imperialism by Germany and Japan, into “evil nationalism”.

Pretty bizarre, when the War started–officially–over Poland’s right to exist and the wartime propaganda was all the allied nations united against Axis aggression. And post-War–exhausted and embarassed–the early-to-the-party imperialists, started cleaning up their imperialism–some stuff very quickly–Philippines, India, Pakistan, Palestine, Jordan, Indonesia; but almost everything of any weight–Vietnam, Malaysia, Nigeria, Congo, Tanzannia, Kenya, Rhodesia, Singapore–decolonized within 20 years.

But using with Hollyweird and tapping the political/academic/financial power of the US, somehow the boogeyman became not “imperialism”–a very legitimate boogeyman–but “nationalism”–weirdly what all these new countries had struggled mightily to obtain. And finally boiled down into just “bad whitey!–don’t you even dare think about having your own nations!”

And now we live under what’s really a hyper-imperialism, where no nation is allowed to just “be”, and every nation, state, city, village, hamlet–heck every bakery!–must be “open” and “diverse” and comply with every ridiculous diktat of globohomo.

This minoritarian crap has been creeping forward my entire life. But i too have been a bit shocked by how "out" and over-the-top it has gotten just these past few years:

-- campus craziness, "microaggressions" -- poop swatstikas, halloween costumes, etc.
-- Bruce Jenner is a woman (seriously, we mean it!)
-- the rain of phony "hate crimes"
    -- continual commercial/Hollyweird miscegenation propaganda
-- school discipline of blacks illegal
-- Ta Neishi Coates promoted as an intellectual
    -- tearing down the statues
-- antifa thugs basically free--never prosecuted--to do black-shirt street violence
-- the open "you suck" and "yes, we can replace you" anti-gentile hate from Brett Stevens type elite media Jews
-- open Hollyweird shitting on white history/existence with blacks jammed into every white narrative; no "white spaces" allowed
-- even further jacked up campus "safe spaces" and "triggering" craziness as rights; basically creating the right not to hear contrary ideas on campus; essentially bans of any "right wing" or dissenting speech on campus
-- boys/men competing in women's sports rendering them a complete joke
-- the pronoun nonsense -- treating freaks and catering to freaks as critical
-- Damore; any intelligent discussion of sex-differences banned in corporate America
-- pulling names off buildings, pulling down statues for the slightest association with .... ?
-- establishment media Jews seriously pushing the insane "open borders" ideas
-- the Democrats adopting "open borders" position
-- "reparations" as serious political agenda item
-- open, raging mainstreamed anti-white gentile hate; ex. Nick Sandmann
    -- non-prosecution of open anti-white hate hoaxes--Jessie Smollett

Just everywhere you go open anti-white-gentile hate.

Yet ... just a second ... yes, my fridge is still humming, so white guys are still at work making everything run.

Personally i wish they'd just stop. I'd rather see them reacting--pissed--and see the heads of these people--Soros, Chuck Shummer, Brett Stevens, Zuckerberg, their stooge Paul Ryan, etc. etc.--on pikes along the roads leading to Washington. Or for the university types on the roads leading to campus.

Just a couple of things on that long list, A.D. are actually policy issues that can (continue to) ruin the country, open borders, and reparations. All the rest of those are things we CAN all do something about, in our own neighborhood.

For every single other thing on there:

    – Don’t let someone get away with telling you any of this without retorting back, nicely or otherwise, with the truth.

    – Don’t participate or agree with anyone in your family participating in the stupidity.

    – Don’t support the media portion of this with ANY of your money.

I’m NOT saying go put your heads down in the sand. It’s not the same thing. Don’t let anyone think you are agreeing with any of this stupidity, and don’t help it grow. That’s all it really takes to stop this kind of stupidity in its tracks, just a modicum of effort and personal courage by tens of millions of Americans.

The Somali women do tend to be bettered looking than most African women, that is true.

I’d imagine pressure to continue such habits/resent at said pressure is a major strain on marriages for such women who live in countries where you can’t beat your wife.

if you beat your wife the resentment goes away?

These girls flaunt their stuff, and they usually wear the tightest most snazziest clothes. Clothes that are quite revealing of their boobs. They also post the most "provocative" pictures on whatever social media platform they are on, and they certainly do not adhere to the dietary restrictions imposed on them by contemporary rulings of Islam, one of which is the drinking of alcoholic beverages. The Somali women do tend to be bettered looking than most African women, that is true.

    Less African.

I did know a very attractive Iranian woman many years ago, but she was Baha’i rather than Muslim. I am told there are attractive Muslim women in Iran, I just haven’t known any.

Some of the Afghani women are quite attractive. There are a lot of different women there.

Wait till they hit middle age. Just like Slavic they don’t age well.

Some of the most attractive Muslim ladies are in Malaysia and Indonesia. I have run across some very attractive Indonesian ladies.

Because they’re Asian. Low IQed, but Asian.

Asians age well. Even part-Asians inherit this good fortune:

Rabbi found guilty of money laundering won’t go to prison thanks to a ‘selfless life,’ judge says

By Amanda Hoover | NJ Advance Media For NJ.com

A New Jersey rabbi found guilty of laundering $200,000 from a private school for children with developmental disabilities was sentenced Monday afternoon to two years probation.

    https://www.nj.com/news/2019/04/rabbi-found-guilty-of-money-laundering-wont-go-to-prison-thanks-to-a-selfless-life-judge-says.html

They assume they can deal with the Muslims later, after we're crushed.

If you think it's a good thing that we have millions of Muslims coming into this country who cling to their 7th century religio-political belief system (e.g., that women are inherently sinful and must cover themselves from head to toe to prevent otherwise "good" Muslim men from sucumbing to temptation, that photography and statuary are haram, that interest is the same as usury, that one must consult an Imam about the halal way to tie one's shoes, that dogs are dirty and animals in general can be mistreated, and, perhaps, most importantly, that we infidels must "convert, live as second-class citizens, or die") -- well, you are sadly mistaken.

Of what benefit is it to this country to import such people? How do they improve our culture? By insisting that women go out in public dressed like the Wicked Witch of the West? What is the point of the hijab, etc., if you game it in a way that makes you look sexually alluring? Or if Tom Wolfe were describing it, lubricious clothing and makeup that provokes concupiscence.

My point exactly. It’s like the Muslim women you see out in public wearing colorful, sequined hijabs and a ton of makeup. It kind of defeats the purpose and actually supports the belief of Muslim men that women can’t resist the urge to flaunt their beauty and should be covered, lest they lure “good” Muslim men into sin. No doubt it is in the nature of women to love displaying their beauty and having attention heaped on them, but it’s like everything else: there can be too much (or too little) of a good thing. Going from the crudity and naked displays of our pop culture to the extreme of burkas and hijabs is not the answer.

I'd be happy to find a way out of this mess. Do you have any suggestions as to how we might do it? We would obviously need to undo all the mistakes that liberals have been responsible for since WW2. That means we would have to abolish feminism and return to traditional sex roles for starters. We'd also have to destroy the entire existing media and social media establishment.

Frankly I'm very doubtful that we're going to be able to do any of that. In which case we're going to end up with very few options. Sharia might eventually seem to be the best of a small number of very depressing options.

No. The jury found him not guilty of theft. He was found guilty of breach of a trust and money laundering. Undoubtedly he filled out forms at the bank with incorrect statements and these days that is practically a high crime, if not treason. It is undisputed he paid the money back to the school. He did not steal the funds and that is why the judge said he hoped he could return to the school. There is nothing going on except for the crimes for which the jury found him guilty. It seems like an appropriate penalty to me. Naturally some people here are grinding their teeth. But that has nothing to do with what occurred.

So if you steal money, the police give you a grace period to pay it back, and then the original charge disappears. Well, that doesn’t sound like privilege at all, does it?

  166. @Logan
I was merely making a comment that the election of the Pope has generally been heavily influenced by local and international politics, money, etc.

That is just a fact. You are free to believe, if you like, that these tools are those God chooses to use.

Judging by the disciples, God enjoys a challenge.

No way do I agree that this is liberalism's war on Islam. This is Leftism (not liberalism) acting on the premise that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." Leftists continue to make common cause with Muslims and others who are diametrically opposed to many things that Leftists purport to believe in (equality of women, equal rights for gays) in order to defeat their primary enemy: white traditionalist Americans.

How will this improve social cohesion? What are they bringing, other than discord and disunity, to this once-great country? Don't we have enough problems without actively importing more?

They assume they can deal with the Muslims later, after we’re crushed.

You haven’t been paying attention. We already are crushed. Liberals/SJWs have now moved on to the next stage of the program, crushing Islam.

And they’re using exactly the same methods they used to crush Christianity – mocking religious morality, mocking any kind of traditional morality, mocking concepts like modesty and chastity.

Of what benefit is it to this country to import such people?

Have I ever said anything to suggest that I’m in favour of immigration?

  168. @TTSSYF
If I'm remembering correctly, you (or someone with a handle similar to yours) have made such nonsensical statements before. Do you know anything about Islam and Sharia, other than what our Leftist media feed you? And you obviously are not a woman if you think Islam is "fairly sane" on the "Woman Question".

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt; i.e., that you are not trolling people like me but instead are woefully ignorant of Islam and a fatalist about this country and the West. Instead of throwing in the towel (or rather, grabbing the towel so your mother, sister, wife, or girlfriend can (be forced to) wear like a hijab), why don't you work with other rational-thinking, mature Americans for an intelligent way out of this pop culture mess? It's not going to be easy, but better now, before there is chaos and bloodshed and only a war of thoughts, words, and deeds.

why don’t you work with other rational-thinking, mature Americans for an intelligent way out of this pop culture mess?

I’d be happy to find a way out of this mess. Do you have any suggestions as to how we might do it? We would obviously need to undo all the mistakes that liberals have been responsible for since WW2. That means we would have to abolish feminism and return to traditional sex roles for starters. We’d also have to destroy the entire existing media and social media establishment.

Frankly I’m very doubtful that we’re going to be able to do any of that. In which case we’re going to end up with very few options. Sharia might eventually seem to be the best of a small number of very depressing options.

  169. No I don’t think it was quite like that. He clearly owed the school monies and they were due on Day X. He made it seem as if he had made the payment by shifting school funds around and then actually paid it in 12 days later after it was due. Had he simply done nothing, and paid it in 12 days late, nothing would have happened at all and no one would have accused him of anything (except being late). This is why he was not found guilty of theft. He did not steal. What he did was make it look like he paid the loan off on time, when in fact he was 12 days late. Should someone go to jail for this? Or pay a $250,000 fine for this? To me there is no question, paying a fine bigger than the loan amount is the proper penalty and jail is absurd. We don’t need 60 year old men in jail for covering up a late payment.

  170. @B. Spassky

Well, that IS the way popes were chosen for most of the history of the Church.

чушь собачья. That’s something you’d hear out of the mouth of a heathen, heretic, apostate, or Deep State dupe.

On the bright side, Sri Lanka banned niqabs and burkas yesterday.

Most Muslims in SL never wore burkas.

As to governments banning Christian symbols, we have already had laicite in France, the Cristero wars, etc. etc. etc. ad infinitum. So, it’s not a good idea, but bring it on.

  172. @Clyde

No, we do not need to encourage immigration from there. If you want to wallow in Iranian and/or Lebanese pulchritude, why don’t you go to Iran and/or Lebanon?

I do this already and it is getting boring. I want them over here enjoying our many freedoms.

Persian girls in the US and here in Canada are quite different in terms of their dress code and attitudes, compared to the ones they have in Iran. These girls flaunt their stuff, and they usually wear the tightest most snazziest clothes. Clothes that are quite revealing of their boobs. They also post the most “provocative” pictures on whatever social media platform they are on, and they certainly do not adhere to the dietary restrictions imposed on them by contemporary rulings of Islam, one of which is the drinking of alcoholic beverages. Another is fornication, or sex before marriage. I wish I could tell you how many of them keep their virginities intact before the ring. I wish. But I can’t, the numbers are extremely small. They enjoy “our” freedoms here alright
