Eric Holder, Bajan Bourgeois

A funny thing about Attorney General Eric Holder is that he comes from a long line of mulatto Barbadians and was carefully raised in a West Indian bubble in New York, almost as isolated from from African-American culture as his boss was at Punahou prep school.

And they’re both still safely inside their bubbles to this very day.

  2. Huntman says:

They’re similar in that their “commitment” to African-American culture and political initiative is completely artificial. Neither faced racism other than minor school or workplace friction, neither has American slave ancestors, and both probably have quite vicious racist stereotypes in mind in re American blacks (they’re too smart not to.) But both see black aspirationalism as a tool to power and mean to use it to transform the culture into something more amenable to their cosmopolitan world views. They’re simply ambitious cynics who know that their exoticism makes them more interesting to white people than a Roosevelt Bowie from Tuscalosa would. Their cynicism makes Joe McCarthy’s look like the abiding love of the patron saint of the crippled and forlorn.

  4. Holder advertising his Barbadian mulatto origin and cossetted New York upbringing, and Obama advertising his Punahou pom-poms does not Fit The Narrative those two needed to Recite to attain and maintain rule over us.

    That’ s the rub.

  5. Enderby says:

When Holder was in Ferguson on Wednesday, he said:
“I am the Attorney General of the United States. But I am also a black man.” He relayed stories of being pulled over on the New Jersey Turnpike twice, and having his car searched.

WTF? I am a white man who has been pulled over, searched and harassed on the NJ Turnpike (and many other roads) multiple times. It’s what NJ cops do.

This jerk needs some new material if he wants to provide evidence of Systemic Oppression of Black Bodies and Black Babies.

Possible new nickname: Chip – short for Chiponish Holder? Work with me here, guys…

  6. Enderby says:

No, sorry – Attorney General Eric “Chiponish” Holder!

  7. eah says:

No, he’s a black man. I know because he has said so many times. And as a black man, he feels the black man’s pain. Apparently telepathically.

  8. He’s like lots of white kids that got into Liberation Theology in college, like NYC’s co-Mayor Warren Wilhelm, uh, Bill deBlasio.

And they’re both still safely inside their bubbles to this very day.

And more importantly, so are their daughters.

The racial relation reminds me of all those predominantly European derived “Hispanics” who advocate for more mestizos and mulattoes immigrating illegally into the US.

A more European derived elite advocating for their less European derived masses versus the European derived majority whom they hate.

  11. Anonymous says:

He’s jealous that he can never be truly white and thus has a great deal of resentment towards them. The darker ones are to be avoided, though, as they offer nothing but trouble and a lowering of standards. His niche is to position himself as a leader of blacks where he’s established himself as fighting on their behalf without actually living amongst them, all the while sticking it to whitey under the cover of fighting for justice.

  12. Bugg says:

As it happens, I was acquainted with Holder’s cousin for a few years in, of all things, a roto baseball league. All of the participants were either ADAs or former ADAs in various prosecutor’s offices in and around NYC. My recollection was he was a perfect gentleman.

What is less reported or discussed in the rift and caste among and between various West Indian and American black people. Simply the media doesn’t discuss that West Indians, who are usually better educated(Holder’s family would be an example; between him, his sister and his cousin alone, 3 postgrad degrees) tend to look down on American blacks and American blacks tend to avoid West Indians. The media would have you believe it’s all one same African-American culture ,. Same with Latinos; Dominicans, Puero Ricans, Mexicans, Cubans, and Colombians all have ongoing spats about who is superior we never hear about. But make the mistake of calling a Dominican or Cuban a Puerto Rican, and you will. Based on few trips to Bermuda especially you learn quickly many West Indians disdain this characterization of being part of one big African-American culture.

Simply guys like Holder and Obama are going above and beyond to prove to their self-perceived lessers that they are more African-American than any of them despite not really being part of the broader genetic African-American Southern slave diaspora. And try to hide that they are in fact latecomers to “the stuggle” . But clearly they don’t mind keeping the affirmative action merry go round in full effect for their own family’s benefit.

Barbados is a fairly affluent and congenially governed country, and has been for some time.

College administrators are often adherents to a worldview which is an auxilliary to truculent ethnic particularism. I’d wager that Holder is more of that kidney. Another curio is Spike Lee, a 3d generation bourgeois whose life has been largely free of personal and professional failures and has been one marked by genuine achievement (as opposed to the patronage driven career Michelle Obama has had); yet, the man is seething in a way few rank-and-file blacks are (or few black bourgeois, while we’re at it).

The one drop rule says they are, and the oldest girl was kicked out of a DC school in the early 1900s for being black.

Stuff like this made Holder black. I think Holder is a pain and an opportunist but he didn’t make the racial rules.

(I also think he’s lying about being stopped while driving black. He got stopped because he was speeding. No highway patrolman could have seen that he was black, because (a) he isn’t and (b) you can’t see color thru a window at a distance while traveling.)

TNC explains why Eric Holder (and Colin Powell) needs reparations:

During the exchange, Coates responded to many of the criticisms his piece has received, including the charge that the case for reparations falls apart on the specifics of implementation: How would reparations work in a society of such varied experiences, when many black people don’t have in their own families an experience of slavery or other historical injustices but are more recent immigrants?

    To this Coates replied:

A lot of people think they are equipped to have this conversation and they are not. I just want to be really clear about this: Anyone who has read Colin Powell’s biography—there’s an entire section where he talks about experiencing segregation. Colin Powell did not appear when he became head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. That’s not how it happened. Eric Holder? Eric Holder’s family? You’re right, his lineage is Caribbean. But his family was here in the 1960s and he 1950s. They were here. Eric Holder didn’t appear as … what was his position … assistant attorney general or whatever he was in the Clinton [administration]. He didn’t just suddenly appear.

It’s very, very important … it’s really, really important that, you know, if we’re going to have this fight, that folks educate themselves on the history. You can oppose reparations all you want, but you got to know the facts. You really, really do.

I don’t want to single anybody out in that but I’m just going to say: We don’t understand how much we don’t understand.

And it’s quite a bit. It’s really, really quite a bit.

And I think, when people say, oh, you’re just advocating another study because you’re punting. No, you just have no idea how much you don’t know. You know? We just don’t. It’s quite a bit.

I am the attorney general of the United States. But I am also a black man,” Holder said, according to the Washington Post. “I think about my time in Georgetown—a nice neighborhood of Washington—and I am running to a picture movie at about 8 o’clock at night. I am running with my cousin. Police car comes driving up, flashes his lights, yells, ‘Where you going? Hold it!’ I say, ‘Whoa, I’m going to a movie.’ ”

That’s the TL;DR version of what I posted to the Breitbart version of this story. Blacks are racists, so they think they get to tell whites what their experiences have been with police. They get to characterize their every encounter with police into a racist miscarriage of justice, and our every encounter with police as less than we deserve.

    Because they’re racists.

Eric Holder talking about what he has endured as a Black(ish) man in America

If only they’d stick to lecturing us about the real and imagined crimes they endure as blacks. But they don’t. They also insist upon telling us what we’ve endured as whites in America.

There was a cop in my neck of the woods (probably retired by now) who was notorious for harassing anyone under 30. Every white (and black) kid I knew from the area had at least one – usually more than one – story about him. He was black.

If Holder thinks he’s black, and if he makes a buck off of it, then blame our crazy one drop rule for that. And who came up with that brilliant idea?

It is a brilliant idea. There’s a lot of white blood in American blacks, and very little black blood in American whites. Far better that than the reverse.

Stuff like this made Holder black. I think Holder is a pain and an opportunist but he didn’t make the racial rules.

Yes, poor blacks, held down to this very day by white norms. Poor blacks, if only they could see their way past white expectations.

  21. @Huntman

They both faced PLENTY of racism. The racism against White people (AA) and anti-White media backing that allowed them to reach their positions ahead of waaaay more competent White people.

    Barak Hussein —zero slave blood
Eric Holder—– zero slave blood unless on Barbados. Take that one up with Great Britain
Reverend Wright– got some slave blood there. Seemingly half or less

All the above are light skins (mulatto) who are over compensating. Are trying to ride their dusky brethren to power and victory over whitey.
Similar to the conquistador Mexicans who ride their meztizos and indios to greater power in America. In Mexico the conquistador types do their best to keep pure European bloodlines. They rule Mexico and Central America and have as little contact as possible with their indios and mixed bloods

    ****indio=Indian
    **** mestizo= indio+European
Most Mexican immigrants are mestizo these days as the lumpen stream out of nations directly to our south. The present invasion wave from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador etc are so indio many speak indio dialects. Not Spanish. The rest are mestizo. I can tell by the photos. None have conquistador ancestry or very little.

At an elite level, it is probably already happened.

You can contrast this to the UK, where black identity is being merged into the mainstream, while Muslim idenity gets more pronounced.

Opposite in the US — where you have a much larger and distict black idenity, but Muslim (Zakaria? Aziz Ansari?) gets absorbed much easier.

If you want something on Holder, dig up the old story on the pardon at the last minutes of the Clinton adminstration. That alone should disqualify him from public office.

The largest percentage of black blood in American whites would be in Southern whites, who have co-existed with blacks for centuries. There was even a Confederate General with a black forebear.

There is probably no black blood in E. European Jews. LOL!

Beige guys like Holder calling themselves black. You can either have people like Holder trying to pass for white (it used to happen) or calling themselves black. YOu can’t blame him for calling himself black when you do.

I know, life’s complicated. Like how English, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, French, Spanish, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Italian, German, Austrian, Czech, etc., etc., etc., are all white. How part-blacks all fall under the rubric of the shorthand of “black.” How Holder and Hussein are both “black,” but a hell of a lot less black than Latrina. Oh noes, the complexity!

By the way, do you think that Lawrence Dennis was black? You should know who Lawrence Dennis was. He’s your intellectual godfather.

    No clue. Don’t care.

What on earth are you talking about? Get a hold of your emotions, sir. It is obvious you are seething.

Isn’t there some man in your life you’d rather be making miserable?

  33. So Holder’s experience of being pulled over is crucial to his understanding (such as it is) of the case, while the county prosecutor McCulloch’s experience of having his policeman father killed by a black criminal renders him unfit. The petty trumps the profound.

  34. Anonymous says:

    @Svigor

That’s sort of true. There were no Palestinians when the ancestors of most Jews left Israel/Palestine. The core Jewish populations (not Yemenite Jews, Bene Israel, or Ethiopian Jews) show evidence of common Levantine origin and subsequent diaspora admixture, approximately 50% admixture, predominantly South European in the case of Ashkenazi Jews. Palestinians are members of a Levantine population that has undergone south Arabian and sub-Saharan admixture since the Muslim conquest. The similarities between the two populations stem from the common Levantine ancestry.

I tend to disagree. The larger percentage would be in the youngest generation of midwestern Whites – many of whose mothers are avid mudsharks.

  42. It’s not just mulattocracy, you see this to-the-manor-born posture flowing from the institutionalized black privilege of Afro-Ameri-Academia. Even slave-descended blacks with parents from academia (Toure, Aisha Tyler) missed out on those crucial years of stereotype formation. Condi Rice could never be the 4-quadrant A+ Cinemascore success that OPRAH is

  45. Wade says:

“In Mexico the conquistador types do their best to keep pure European bloodlines. They rule Mexico and Central America and have as little contact as possible with their indios and mixed bloods”

Unless all of their ancestors are recent immigrants from Europe, the chances they have pure European bloodlines are very slim. Anyone who can trace their lineage back to the conquistadors almost certainly has some Amerindian ancestors as well. Sailer’s readers vastly overestimate the purity of the “Whites” in Latin America.

I worked with a man who had grown up in a southern mill town, fairly poor, who worked in Holder’s law firm (not as a lawyer.) He was a classic liberal in his sentiments, despite his working class origins. I loathed the whole administration, incl. the Atty. Gen. He would have none of that. Holder, he said, was a very nice person.
OK. I don’t know. But anybody in politic is — a Politician! They can appear nice, in fact they usually have to.
None of these people in government are real. They are just front men. Or front women. Or Hillary. They are just hollow demons.

  47. dcite says:

“Sailer’s readers vastly overestimate the purity of the “Whites” in Latin America.”

No they don’t. Most just know distant ancestry doesn’t matter too much. Go back 8 generations — in my family that was about late 1700s — and you’re looking at 264 individuals standing there as your g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-grandparents. Anyway, most people don’t mind some American Indian ancestry anyway, in fact it can be somewhat of a fetish which bothers Indians quite a bit when whites claim it. Winston Churchill always claimed some but that’s been in dispute. It seems to be black African ancestry that weirds people out, no matter how distant. And that’s a shame.

  48. “American blacks have 20% white blood, while American whites, from all I’ve seen so far, have no blood.”

Alas, they do. A great deal of it has been shed by black murderers.

Anyone who can trace their lineage back to the conquistadors almost certainly has some Amerindian ancestors as well. Sailer’s readers vastly overestimate the purity of the “Whites” in Latin America.

Racial ideas in Latin America have a strongly eugenic cast; it’s all about improving (i.e., making more Caucasoid) the race:

Castizo (Spanish is a Spanish word with a general meaning of “pure”, “genuine” or representative of its race (from the Spanish: “casta”). The feminine form is castiza. From this meaning it evolved other meanings, such as “typical of an area”[1] and it was also used for one of the colonial Spanish race categories, the castas, that evolved in the 17th century.

In Latin America Castizo is used to describe the individuals with an admixture of 75% European and 25% native Amerindian.

Under the caste system of colonial Latin America, the term originally applied to the offspring resulting from the union of a European and a mestizo, that is, someone of three quarters European and one quarter Amerindian ancestry. During this era, some other terms (mestizo, cuarterón de indio, etc.) were in use to denote other individuals of mixed European and Amerindian ancestry in ratios smaller or greater than that of castizos.

Under this same caste system, the offspring of a Spaniard and a Castiza was classified as a criollo (legally, a Spaniard born in the Americas), thus the offspring regained his or her “purity of blood”. (See the related concept of Limpieza de sangre.) For castizos whose residual quarter of Amerindian ancestry was not apparent at all, many simply consolidated themselves within the criollos and Peninsulares (Spaniards born in Spain).

Well, via my maternal ancestry, I have the option, but it’s something that I would never do. Israel is far too Levantine nowadays. Its Western culture is being steadily eroded by the Middle East. And then there is the flood of Jews from Russia and Ukraine*. It is sad to say, but I have absorbed many of my grandfather’s prejudices regarding Jews from the East. He always viewed them as semi-Oriental savages, not really fit to be members of a Western country. How he would mock their use of Yiddish (to my grandfather, a proud German speaker, Yiddish was vulgar kitchen talk, something fit for women, perhaps, but not for cultivated men) Plus, the notion of speaking Hebrew repulses me. My tongue was made for English, not for some guttural, Middle Eastern dialect.

    * Of course, many of these Russian and Ukrainian Jews are 50 to 75% Slavic Gentile in terms of ancestry (Israel uses the Nazi Nuremberg laws to determine who can immigrate to Israel). I’m not sure if that improves matters…

On the other hand they can not be called white either. Probably in I.Q. and some other ways they are closer to white then anything else, but they are not considered as white. This must cause hostility, resentment and possibly even jealousy. Do they over-compensate because of this? The old phrase ‘the tragic mulatto’ seems to be very accurate.

There is no “one drop” rule in the USA. If that were so, Hispanics and Arabs would nearly all be “blacks.” However, black American elites work hard to perpetuate the MYTH that WHITES want a “one drop rule.” The truth is that black and black-identified mulatto elites work overtime to demonize anyone who dares to tell the truth. Special venom is reserved for mixed-race people (Hispanics and Arabs politely excepted) who DON’T want to pretend to be “black.” Google the term “passing for white” and you will see that only blacks get into a collective hissy fit about it.
