From the NYT:

Who’s Afraid of a White Minority?

The battle over how to project the future population of the United States has profound political implications.

By Thomas B. Edsall
Mr. Edsall contributes a weekly column from Washington, D.C. on politics, demographics and inequality.

Aug. 30, 2018

The question of whether America will become a majority-minority nation — and when that might happen — is intensely disputed, of enormous political import and extraordinarily complex.

This is exactly the same argument as I’ve responded to before in which aged savants completely overlook the ongoing Flight From White.

Two articles that appeared in the opinion section of The Times over the past few years made the case that misleading statistical artifacts used by the Census Bureau have increased the fear of a majority-minority America, a fear that played a crucial role in the 2016 election.

Both Richard Alba, of CUNY, in “The Myth of the White Minority,” and Herbert Gans, of Columbia, in “The Census and Right Wing Hysteria,” argued that questionable census classifications led to an undercount of America’s white majority. This anxiety over the decline of white hegemony, in turn, helped propel a segment of conservative voters to cast ballots for Donald Trump.

The argument is that white people shouldn’t be alarmed by all the articles in, say, the New York Times about how white people are finally going to get what’s coming to them once they are no longer a majority of the voters because, you see, people of mixed descent will voluntarily give up identifying as non-white in order to cash in on that sweet, sweet White Privilege.

I did a search for terms including “affirmative action,” “racial preferences,” and “quotas,” but they never seemed to come up. After all, they’ve only been government policy for 49 years, so they can hardly be expected to be as well-known as, say, redlining.

Also in the New York Times yesterday, a little taste of the kindness and consideration a white minority (or, as they are more likely to be called, a Legacy Majority) can expect:

The Religion of Whiteness Becomes a Suicide Cult
A wounded and swaggering identity geopolitics puts the world in grave danger.

By Pankaj Mishra
Mr. Mishra is a contributing opinion writer focused on ideas and politics.

… Other panicky white bros not only virulently denounce identity politics and political correctness — code for historically scorned peoples’ daring to propose norms about how they are treated; they also proclaim ever more rowdily that the (white) West was, and is, best. …

The low comedy of charlatanry, however, should not distract us from the lethal dangers of a wounded and swaggering identity geopolitics. …

Etcetera etcetera.

I would claim PeterIke’s Law for Pankaj Mishra, but as far as I can tell he doesn’t live in the U.S., so the law does not technically apply, though he does do the occasional “visiting professor” gig. I guess he does most of his dirty work from India, while the West falls over itself in awarding him prizes and honors because he tells us how terrible we are all the time.

This is the face of a guy that wants you dead, and gets paid to tell you.

What does he know of race in the US, he’s from a completely homogeneous society who burns their daughters at the stake for talking to boys of the wrong caste, let alone race.

HE, is to lecture ME? To whom do they think they speak?

This is quite the run-on sentence.

Htf does one “propose norms about how they were treated”?

What then? Put everybody back into pre-industrial societies, and those who know how to ascend to some sort of civilization will do so, and their population will increase, and those who never made that ascent will descend into the mess that is sub-Saharan Africa.

Rural people have a decent chance. Urban dwellers do not.

  10. In 2016, Hillary Clinton literally scared the stuffing out of Whitey. She deleted 33,000 e-mails and her mission statement, during the campaign, was to delete the White majority in this country as soon as possible and with the same merciless efficiency as using “Bleach-Bit” on her hard drive. This vile message had a profound effect in many places, particularly in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Hillary may have been the worst presidential candidate in the history of the Democrat Party (Dem presidential candidates in 1904 and 1924 were hardly the life of any political party and nothing more than place holders on a Dem ticket). Kamala Harris & Cory Booker are just aching to do Hillary one better in 2020.

  12. Only a few proud and brave whites will want to “identify” as white by the time of the idiotically-termed majority-minority. I know your line was sarcastic, but the the writer, Mr. Edsall, may not believe this either. The ctrl-left will write whatever lies it takes to keep the American (soon-to-be-former) majority calm until all their wishes/plans are in place. As you wrote about before, this is another article encouraging the cadres of the Lyin’ Press to LIE HARDER. Oh, and COUNT DIFFERENTLY. This majority-minority transition is supposed to be a SURPISE!

BTW, I won’t click the link to get more details that I may have a question on. I read yesterday where you informed one Mr. Anonymous to do this, rather than speculating on some article-writer’s intentions. However, I will NOT GIVE THEM HITS. I’ll try not to speculate, but if I have a question, I’ll just ask you here. You’ve got lots of free time, don’t you? ;-} I hope your August stats are the best yet, Steve!

Less pretty girls are excited at the prospect of taking over the top spot. And now that we think about it, the previous clique was never pretty; they were just coasting on unearned privilege!

We know the children of Ted Cruz are counted as hispanic today….will his grandchildren be counted as hispanic ? I suspect they will be , because it would be foolish for them to reject the privileges which being “hispanic” offers.

  25. Thomas Edsall of the New York Times has done a swell job covering the most important political story of the last few decades.

The most important story of the last few decades has been the ABANDONMENT of WHITE voters by the Democrat Party.

Edsall has reported the decision made by Obama and the Democrat Party to abandon Whites Without College Degrees for the 2012 election. Obama was lucky to have McCain and Romney as GOP candidates. Hillary Clinton made the abandonment of White voters even more explicit than Obama did, going so far as to call tens of millions of White voters “deplorables.”

Edsall has also pointed out that ObamaCare steals hundreds of billions of dollars from Medicare. Edsall has also pointed out that White women are abandoning the Democrat Party.

Edsall is best read between the lines.

    - The people, who blame white supremacy for a living.

    - The people, who distribute the tax-renevue/social-insurance-intake to the non-European resident/citizens of Western countries to maintain social peace.

    - The Western armies, who rely their strenght on the creativity/productivy/ferocity of Europeans.

I’ve noticed the other side has taken to describing our motivations as being based upon fear. But isn’t that like the pot calling the kettle black? You can shutdown a college campus when someone mistakes a covered microscope through a window for a hooded klansman. If anything the other side is obsessed with fear.

What they ascribe as fear among us is actually a normal, healthy response to changes in our environment that warrants attention. It is similar to people in a village taking note when their water supply is drying up. They understand something is changing and action might become necessary to continue their existence. It’s not fear, it’s common sense.

The progressive/socialist idolatry of places like Iceland and Denmark always bake-in the massive blind spot of homogeneity.

Interesting that the vulgarity of so much blonde/blue is lost on them when fetishising the progressive utopias in person.

I wonder if he would have been so uppity after visiting my idyllic small town in the pacific northwest before the progs destroyed it?

It was safe, clean, well-ordered, high-trust, high civic involvement and solidly middle class. There was *something* else about it too, but given it was within the borders of the US, that something else needed to be enriched. So now its a shithole with a good HS soccer team.

As for Iceland lacking the greedy 1%, its necessary to ignore the clannish and nepotistic nature of basically an extended family of 400k to make such a rediculous statement.

And then there was that little banking and currency issue not so far back. But when waxing poetic on prog delusions, one must remain in the emotive bliss of fetishising otherism.

  41. Thomas Edsall in the New York Times 2017:

The 2016 results suggest that residents of a diminishing number of decisively white American towns and small cities — even those which supported Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012 — can now be politically mobilized around race, ethnicity, multiculturalism and immigration.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/16/opinion/trump-white-voting.html

    Attention Edsall:

You bet your Fat White Ass that Whites can now be mobilized around race, ethnicity, multiculturalism and immigration!

    I wrote this in 2017:

Whites who live in mostly White towns want to keep their towns free and clear of multicultural strife and racial animosity. Edsall wrote at least a half a dozen articles where he chronicles the abandonment of WWCDs by the ruling class of the Democrat Party.

Hillary Clinton moved to the mostly White town of Chappaqua, New York so she could avoid living around non-Whites. It wouldn’t do for Hillary Clinton and her pals to get bombed on wine in a town riven by multicultural turmoil. Hillary Clinton didn’t grab all that loot from foreigners so she could live in Washington Heights with the Dominicans or Harlem with the Blacks.

EXPLICIT WHITEY in politics is here. It will take a few election cycles to get rid of the Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham types, but the Republican Party is going full-bore Whitey. If the GOP doesn’t begin direct appeals to the White voter base of the GOP, then the White voter base of the GOP will abandon the GOP.

  42. IHTG says:

    https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/immigration-debate-affirmative-action-new-voters-change-politics/

In 2012, 78 percent of Chinese-Americans said they supported race-based affirmative action; in 2016, the figure was 41 percent.

[Karthick Ramakrishnan, a public policy professor at the University of California, Irvine] says the newer immigrants moving public opinion are active on Chinese-language social media. They are wealthier and better educated than previous generations.

“They look down upon prior waves of Chinese immigration as well as other Asian immigration,” he said. “They somehow believe that the most significant racial discrimination that exists is not getting into Harvard.”

She interviewed 36 Asian Americans last year who have advocated for or against affirmative action. And she found that those who have advocated against affirmative action are almost entirely recent immigrants from mainland China — the same group that spends time on WeChat. They tend to be affluent and educated, but also racially isolated. They work in places that are predominantly white, and occupy social spaces that are predominantly Chinese.

In a discussion of changing opinion on racial preferences, the fact that changing immigration patterns can have negative political consequences is taken for granted by liberals, as well it should be. Yet in other contexts, the well-founded claim that new voters can give rise to new policies is treated as scandalous.

Consider the following sketch of the debate. Roughly speaking, small-government restrictionists argue that permissive, skills-blind immigration policies will eventually lead to a leftward shift in the electorate, as low-income naturalized citizens will, ceteris paribus, favor higher levels of redistribution. Left-of-center admissionists often agree with small-government restrictionists on this point, only they see leftward shifts in the electorate as entirely salutary (and, of course, they tend to deemphasize this line of argument when they’re trying to win over allies on the right). To left-of-center admissionists, it’s not so much that small-government restrictionists are wrong to argue that admitting more low-income immigrants will nudge U.S. politics to the left. Rather, their (implicit) objection is that it is morally wrong to oppose this leftward march towards rainbow socialism, or whatever we’re calling the eschaton these days.

And as for libertarian admissionists, they are divided into a few different camps. Some angrily reject the premise that low-income immigrants will necessarily favor redistributionist policies, insisting that impoverished newcomers would happily embrace the cause of dismantling the safety net if only the partisans of small government would declare themselves in favor of increased openness to immigration. For now, I’ll just say that I don’t find this line of argument very convincing. Others posit a sort of political ricochet effect, i.e., as low-income immigrants represent a rising share of the population, natives will grow less inclined to support redistribution, or so the argument goes. The net effect would thus be to shift the electorate rightward. Though I’m skeptical of this argument too, what’s most notable about it is its breathtaking cynicism, particularly when it comes from libertarian admissionists keen to build bridges with the left.

Then there are those who concede the premise that low-income immigration could shift the politics of a given society leftward yet conclude that the answer is to exclude said newcomers from citizenship by, say, issuing guest-worker visas that bar their holders from naturalizing, or that establish obstacles to naturalization that have the effect of selecting for immigrants less favorably disposed to redistribution. I’m not a fan of the implications of this argument, for reasons I explain in my forthcoming book, but it is an argument that deserves to be taken seriously.

But I digress. My basic point is that, as changing opinion among Chinese Americans suggests, new arrivals can change the political balance of a given community pretty quickly, and this is going to have bearing on the immigration debate, whether we like it or not.

It’s dead common: What? Are you CHICKEN?” A nanny-nanny-boo-boo psy-ops expected from a third-grader: the other fellow isn’t doing what you want so you insist his undesired action or inaction is because he is afraid to do what’s you want. It’s the kind of psychological manipulation that only really ought to work on third-graders (and perhaps those with some unusual neurosis – the Mary McFlys of the world). And as you say it’s usually invoked to prod one into doing something obviously stupid or harmful to oneself: going into the fenced yard with the angry German shepherd, disobeying the sensible rules of parents and teachers who set those rules for your benefit, etc. Here it’s “allow alien invaders to displace you from your homes, destroy your culture, and abuse you.” Sadly, it now apparently works on grown-asses men and women, with remarkable and lamentable results

Growing up, you start experiencing inexplicable desires, like a need to camp in the woods, or listen to heavy rock, or crack open a book. You are embarrassed and don’t know what to do about that, but eventually you find people just like you, who explain to you that all of this is normal and in fact something to be proud of. Actually no, scratch that last part.

If you knew *for certain* that your team has incontestably won the series of all series wouldn’t that you give an absolute enamelled titanium steel self confidence and self belief that absolutely *nothing* the losers can do can barely glance a stone off?

A lot of left of center whites mouth the right slogans, but their preferences in where they live and where their kids go to school shows where their heart lies, and over time they will try less and less to mask that. I wouldn’t be surprised if in the next 20 years less than a quarter of whites vote Democratic as more realize that being an ‘ally’ doesn’t exempt you from the plans the new masters of the left have to hobble them and their kids in the game of life to ensure they can’t get further ahead than they supposedly deserve.

Not to mention Mixtec Indians from Mexico, and similar populations.

It’s not “funny”, it’s simply the result of stupidity–really on the part of the Republicans/conservatives–in allowing the creation of one ethnic census category “Hispanic”. Bizarrely an ethnic category that really has almost nothing to do with the creation of the United States.

Trump should be fixing this. (And a lot of other stuff–i really need a policy job there.) Go ahead and create the necessary racial categories for everyone in the world–including ‘mestizo’ and ‘mullato’. And then if you’re going to do ethnic stuff again have ethnic categories–and heck throw in national origin–for everyone: Anglos, Scots-Irish, Irish, Germans, American blacks, Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Chinese, Koreans, Indians, Cubans, Arabs … and especially Jews.

    A) You make Hispanics pick a racial category–no pan-Hispanic nonsense. A lot of elite “Hispanics” are white (and quite conscious and proud of it).

    B) If you’re going to play ethnic games then *everyone* gets to play. If you’re giving loot to “Hispanics” then Harvard need to be explaining why say the Scots-Irish are so under-represented at Harvard and Jews so wildly over-represented. We could even pass laws requiring affirmative action parity. Sauce for goose …

I worked 17 years for a major corporation. One day I got an email from HR requesting that I review my basic personnel data. I decided to change my ethnicity from “White” to “Hispanic”. (This was perfectly legal. The Feds have encouraged people to “self identify” and besides, one criteria for claiming Hispanic heritage is that you “were born in an area that was part of the former Spanish Empire.” Well, I read history. That area includes most of North America, and the majority of the current continental USA, certainly every state from Kansas across to Georgia, and all points south.) So, viola! I was Hispanic. About a year or so later I had decided to retire, and even though I was going to leave voluntarily, my managers gave me a nice severance package and a small but unexpected retirement pension. I have no way of knowing for certain, but my suspicion is that changing my ethnicity set off some muted alarm bells in management. “Oooooh, this might be some sort of loose cannon. Better play nice, just in case.”

It is just a matter of time before Non-Hispanic whites are a minority in the United states. We can see it via the US birth data. While the number of babies born per decade has remained between 34 – 40 million, the number of whites being born fell from 35 million during the fifties to just 20 million during the last decade.

Decade…..US Births …White Births (per decade)
    1950′s – 40 million — 35 million
    1960′s – 38 million — 32 ”
    1970′s – 34 million — 26 ”
    1980′s – 37 million — 25 ”
    1990′s – 39 million — 23 ”
    2000′s – 40 million — 22 ”

In 1970 there were more White Americans under the age of 55 than today. The average white American is 45 years old, the average African-American is 31 years old, average hispanic is 29 years-old. It would take a huge increase in white fertility to slow down the decline, but fertility rates are falling for whites as marriage rates have hit all-time lows in 2016. A 30 year-old white male is more likely to live with his parents than with a partner or wife.

I’ve always thought that people are simpler than we make them out to be, and that a lot could be gained by seeing Emperor Trump with no clothes. Perhaps then this billowing imbecile would seem the frail, declining nothing that he is–and all of us better for having seen it.

Likewise, the ideology of white supremacy ought to be stripped of its menacing black, red, and white flag and revealed for what it is: a rigid ideology incompatible with reality, selected like every other inferior trait for extinction. It is not by the benevolence of one or many men that society has arrived where it is. The diversity exploited in our nation’s past has matured into a healthy, diverse society. The only way onward and upward is through the embrace of a multicultural, multiracial society.

In our panic, what we forget to remember as liberals is that the reactionary movement afoot in Washington swims against the irresistible tide of human progress. The “great” they want to make America again was supplanted by the stronger societal model we have today. Nothing stands still. Time = change. This isn’t “good” — I don’t understand why the evidence was destroyed and the suspects released. If they were going to be federally charged I don’t see why they couldn’t be held. This looks like a civil war that has not yet broken out to the population: agency against agency, possibly intra-agency factions fighting. This is the logical end result of airhead leftists declaring that the supremacy clause can be switched off and their city or state can be exempted from federal cooperation.

The four other adults, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, Hujrah Wahhaj, Subhanah Wahhaj and Lucas Morton are charged with aiding and abetting Leveille in committing the offense, and with conspiring with Leveille to commit the offense.

All five suspects were taken into federal custody Friday afternoon in Taos. They will make their initial appearances in federal court in Albuquerque on September 4, 2018.

Meanwhile, Taos district attorney dropped all charges against Sirah Wahhaj and Jany Leveille, with the intention of taking the case to a grand jury on September 27 and refiling the charges.

Wahhaj is also accused of abducting his son Abdul Ghani Wahhaj from Georgia.

Why is this? Is it because South African blacks are that stupid? I thought about it, and the answer is “no.” They actually view what happened in Zimbabwe as a success.

Justin: Why do you think that is?

Doug: The blacks went from owning, say, 10% of the country’s wealth to now owning, say, 99%. That looked pretty good. The fact the absolute amount of wealth fell by perhaps 75% is irrelevant to them.

It’s a different way of looking at things. No black in South Africa thinks Zimbabwe made a mistake. They consider getting rid of the white people a triumph.

This is obviously racist. But Africa is probably the most racist place on the planet. Most people in Europe and the US either don’t know this or, if they do, they’d never admit it.

Frankly, it amazes me that so many Americans have programmed themselves to feel “white guilt.” Anyone who’s traveled knows that Europe and the US are the least racist societies on the planet.

But all the races are “racist,” to be candid. It’s genetically programmed into humans to fear alien groups. It’s a result of the competition for scarce resources, over millions of years of evolution. Racism may be unsavory, but it’s entirely natural. The only solution is to view people as individuals, first and foremost. Looking for political solutions against racism only makes things worse, not better.

Drinking aspartame diet soda is a quick way to obesity and a slow death.

    The slower the better!

But seriously–compared to sugared soda. I don’t want to hijack the thread–i know everyone has opinions on diet–but the one piece of dietary advice that seems pretty clear to me is that sugar/simple carbs are the culprit in the super-sizing of Americans. (Along with just eating too damn much.)

We have had some dietary driven adaptations since the neolithic–like lactose tolerance. But humans have not developed a whole new carbohydrate metabolism. Eat some sugar and it’s processed like it was 10,000 years ago–when it was scarce. I.e.–quick processing, blood sugar spike (giving you some energy), then the insulin response–which tells muscles to grab up blood sugars and be ready for action, but also tells fat cells to grab up sugars and convert them into fats, while suppressing fat cells from “burning” fat (converting it to fatty acids in the blood). And for people whose “work” is driving a desk chair, most of these blood sugars are not “burned” but turned into fat.

When i was a kid, some of the men–still eating like they were on the farm–were getting chubby and dying of heart attacks. Research implicated–cholesterol and saturated fats. The government gave this diet advice: avoid eggs, dairy, meat … eat grains! Low fat is goodness.

It was simply wrong. Fat tastes good in peoples mouths and helps them feel full and … stop eating! And takes a longer time to digest. On the other hand carbs produce a blood sugar spike, then plunge, as they are converted into fat and often leave people craving “more.” And since “more” is available Americans look like they are about twice the size as they were when I was a kid–without getting any taller.

Make no mistake, once the dollar loses its luster, it crashes, and so does our nation. At that development, the Amish become high-tech.

James, JackD already made the key point–you don’t crash to 19th century technology, you muddle.

But I will add there’s continual confusion by a few commenters about what a dollar crisis would look like. If the dollar lost it’s role as the world’s reserve currency what would happen. Just do the math–supply and demand:
    – Foreign goods would get more expensive.
    – We’d have to produce more of our own stuff.
    – Foreigners with dollars would want stuff from the US–assets like stocks or real estate; goods where we are internationally competitive now or would be with a cheaper dollar (for example our grain production, much higher dollar prices).

So what you’d get is actually *more* production in the US, while at the same time much higher prices for foreign goods and tradable commodities like energy and food, and US assets like housing or farmland.

Short form: Not less production, but lower living standards. (Instead of getting basically “free” imports we have to send more or our production overseas.)

From this account, it seems the body considers carbs to be the superior nutrient.

Half of Asia runs on rice three meals per day and are not especially obese. Mishra is, not to put too fine a point on it, a twat. He was a smug, shallow ‘explainer’ of the East to impressionable white liberals who has turned to attempting to explain the West to his admirers.

Back in his own bailiwick that tiny fraction of the population who have ever heard of him spot him immediately for the London-based charlatan that he is.

Search, for example, his name on the blog Brown Pundits. Here is BP’s review of his book Age of Anger:

Resentment and envy drive everything in Pankaj-world. Herder and Fichte, for example, are “young provincials in Germany.. who simmered with resentment against a metropolitan civilization of slick movers and shakers that seemed to deny them a rooted and authentic existence”. This motif is repeated with variations throughout the book. Everyone (except the Anglo-Americans of course) is endlessly burning with resentment and hates who they are. It almost makes one wonder if the book is really about Pankaj digging through 200 years of intellectual history to find his own mirror image everywhere? But this would be to psychologize, and one should try to avoid that, even if Pankaj never does…

…Finally, there is the issue of conscious (or unconscious?) manipulation of facts and anecdotes to fit his agenda. Pankaj seems to know the prejudices and vague preconceptions of his postmodern Eurocentric audience, and he never misses a chance to push their buttons, even if it requires some subtle alteration of events. A few random quotes will illustrate this tendency:

“Turkeys Erdogan to India’s Modi, France’s Le Pen and America’s Donald Trump, have tapped into the simmering reserviors of cynicism, boredom and discontent”. Discontent, yes, but cynicism and boredom? Other than sounding good to his audience, how much sense does this really make?

Speaking of the 1990s “The Dalai Lama appeared in Apple’s “Think different” advertisements and it seemed only a matter of time before Tibet, too, would be free”. Did it? really? to whom? The only reason this sentence appealed to him is because it presses the right buttons. The Dalai Lama, check. Evil corporation Apple, check. Advertisement, check. Sheeple being fooled yet again, check. It is a theme, and it recurs.

working railroads, an impartial government bureaucracy, and a common tongue.

    Working railroads:
To build a working railroad, you need to hire and pay contractors, engineers, and laborers. Definitely don’t see anything about requiring a foreign colonial overlord in the railway construction manual.
What the British ended up building was a wasteful boondoggle. These were built to transport goods and soldiers across the country to connect British enclaves and to thwart rebellion.
The construction was done at exorbitant cost by hiring British as sinecures; no semblance of market competition there. This was a program designed to enrich the home counties. And every penny of it was paid by extracting taxes from penurious Indians.
Oh, and did I mention that railway carriages were segregated from the start. First class for whites only.
Indians after independence have built most of the railways extant in India. Yeah, it’s pretty messy but that’s because railways are now a populist entitlement and we don’t have the money to fix it.

    Impartial government bureaucracy:
What a hoot. Laws favoring Europeans were built in. Tax impositions were barbaric (what you people fought against in 1774 was positively gentle by Indian standards); people could starve but they had to cough up money, and if they rebelled, they’d be tied to the mouths of cannons and blown up.
Whites literally got away with murder against Indians. Since Indian judges were not allows to prosecute Europeans, they almost always got away clean.

    Common tongue:
It’s hardly very common. About 15% of the country speaks English. There was nothing wrong with our native languages that required them to be replaced.

A controversial bill in Iceland which would ban circumcisions for minors and would make those performing circumcisions on children – as well as parents who arranged circumcisions for their children – liable for jail time will not be voted on by the Icelandic parliament.

The bill, brought before Iceland’s parliament earlier this year, provides for a maximum sentence of six years in prison for those performing or arranging for the circumcision of a minor.

Iceland’s parliament initially backed the proposal, which passed a preliminary vote.

“As it looks now, the bill has a high chance of passing,” Rabbis Yair Melchior and Yoav Melchior – the chief rabbis of Denmark and Oslo – wrote in January.

But the proposed legislation drew a torrent of criticism, including bipartisan calls by US lawmakers to reconsider the bill.

“While Jewish and Muslim populations in Iceland may be small, your country’s ban could be exploited by those who stoke xenophobia and anti-Semitism in countries with more diverse populations,” Congressmen Ed Royce (R-Calif.) and Eliot Engel (D-NY.) wrote in a letter sent to the Icelandic embassy in Washington earlier this month.

European Jewish leaders, including the Conference of European Rabbis (CER), lobbied against the bill’s passage, and gained the support of some local Christian groups.

“The Nazis enacted such a law in 1933 and we know how it ended,” Rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt, president of the CER, said at a conference in Iceland organized by Protestant and Catholic European groups.

“This move is not only a violation of the basic human right to freedom of religion or belief, but a sign that people of Jewish or Muslim background are not welcome in Iceland.”

Now, it appears that Iceland’s parliament is prepared to drop the bill, after the parliament’s judicial committee recommended against its passage.

The sudden discovery of African Ethiopian Jews was just an Israeli fundraiser. They’ve been doing it since 1880. First the Montefioros and Rothschilds were conned into supporting welfare type Talmud readers in Palestine.

Then the Montefioros and Rothschilds got sick of supporting generations of lay abouts.

So the Rothschilds came up with the “new Jew” a stalwart farmer carpenter mason who could grow his own food and build his own house instead of begging at the wailing wall. Reports of weird looking young adult men begging at the wailing wall got into all those 2
19th century travel books. It was embarrassing . The Christian and Muslim adult men worked. Why didn’t the Jews? That was Zionism.

Then America Jews began donating and coercing the American government into supporting Israel.

Then Rabbi Kahane for fired from every job he ever had. So he discovered a new career as a fundraiser to “rescue” the Jewish rulers of soviet Russia and bring them to America.

Rescuing soviet Jews ran its course. The government of Israel and ADL AIPAC AJC WZC and the rest of the Professional Jews needed a new excuse for their fundraising

And viola!!! African Jews who needed rescuing from whatever became a new resource for the Professional Jews and the welfare parasite state of Israel

Nixon and the judiciary put those laws into practice and every President and the judiciary have been warring on Whites ever since.

The unions aren’t skilled White men anymore. Today’s unions are affirmative action minority female government and teachers unions led by Marxist ideologues like Bill. Ayers.

Look at the great White Hope Regean.

He promised to get rid of Carter’s Marxist racist anti White Department of Education. He didn’t

He gave amnesty to millions of illegals which set the precedent for more amnesties

He pushed through the federal law that any foreigner who shows up at a hospital gets free medical treatment.

This led to maternity tourism. From millionaire Asians to diet poor central
American Indians they come here to drop their anchor babies.

Starting with a few Portuguese ships that sailed into Mumbai harbor in 1498 every Indian ruler, Muslim Hindu Parsee, Sikh, big or small turned over their lands and people over to the European colonizers in exchange for small bribes.

Mention that and watch their heads explode. 450 years after the Rajah turned Mumbai over to the Portuguese, some Indians finally started a short lived rebellion against the English. It took another 100 years and a lot of help from soviet Russia to finally become 2 independent countries

SC and AZ are states where the neocon/cuck/right-globalist mentality is strong among much of the general population. In AZ the issue is Mormons and well off retirees from low immigration states.

I make no claims about the quality of universities attended by Indians. Indians attend Indian Universities, and that’s good enough for Bill Gates or Marc Zuckerberg to hire them instead of white American citizens with proven programming skills. Indian credentials are also good enough for Disney, who replaced their proven 20 year IT veterans with the kind of unproven Chowderyheads who crash landed the Mars Climate Orbiter.

I definitely think that way too many people, way too often, use these labels sloppily – either out of laziness or, probably more often, out of intellectual deficiency – but that’s true of many words and labels. These labels are not completely useless, however, especially when broken down into more bite-size pieces (e.g. early boomers [Trump/Clintons/Dubya] vs late boomers [Obama]). To take the two most significant generations in 2018: “Boomers,” for example, have tended to have life experiences very different from their kids and grandkids, the “Millennials,” and this affects the way people from these generations see the world and interact with each other. Many Boomers have no idea just how good they have had it throughout their lives, and they project their own spoiledness onto Millennials, whose future the Boomers are presently parasitizing. “Gen X” is in most ways an amalgam of the Boomers and Millennials.

Vox’s SJW book is worth a read, but the guy claims to be bi- or tri-racial or whatever, lives in Italy and goes around pontificating about the “alt-right” (he is also jealous of Spencer apparently, that he actually coined that term), and what White Americans should do–very preachy.

I don’t mind the “I’m an American Indian” schtick, which seems to be mostly used to make Social Justice Warriors uncomfortable, nor the pontificating about the direction in which future politics/culture should move, as that’s pretty much a universal constant of internet opinion blogs (or just blogs in general to greater or lesser extent), but the personality conflicts really are starting to drive me away. I’ve been following the Vox Day blog for almost as long as I’ve been following iSteve, but there are only so many times I’m willing to hear about John Scalzi’s lawn/pageviews, or how crazy Beale thinks Jordan Peterson is.

He’s right about Jordan Peterson, of course, but the reality is, I think there’s some projection there.

I tend to think it’s more in the reverse order: Peterson’s teachings are not in and of themselves a solid and complete philosophical basis for living rightly, but I don’t believe that this makes him useless, whether he shies away from the “Jewish Question” or not, and to the extent that Beale makes any substantive criticisms, they seem to get buried under the weight of the “I’m not crazy, he’s crazy!” projection.

Vox says that a lot of what Jordan talks about, is basically him talking to himself–something I think Vox does a lot of as well (“I’m not a gamma-male”)

Beale likes to accuse Peterson of leading a cult, which reads rather strangely coming from the self-styled Dark Lord of the Evil Legion of Evil or whatever he calls it. I used to think that it was all in good fun, just mocking the histrionic tendencies of SJW to see/paint anyone who disagrees with them as Literally Hitler, but Beale’s ongoing obsession with Peterson, and more specifically Peterson as a leader/figure of influence in his own right…well, it is very much a cliché accusation (and God knows the Left loves to make use of it), but it really does seem as though all of this is coming from Beale feeling personally threatened by Peterson in some way, perhaps as a more mainstream/monetarily-successful version of himself.

What makes it all the more odd, at least from my point of view, is that Beale has argued for “no enemies to the right” or something to that effect, where Milo is concerned, yet he’s constantly working himself into a lather over his idea of Peterson indulging in various sexual perversions away from the public eye.

…not sure where he gets the “elite athlete” idea–was he on some small minor league futbol team?

Dunno. He does semi-frequently talk about his current (community league?) team, and about his background in martial arts.

As a Scandinavian, who also, frequently, travels to Iceland, this American guy is the biggest imbecile ever! To ask why USA can’t be more like Iceland is breathtakingly idiotic.

Irony this summer: a scathingly funny book about tourists in Iceland is merciless with its anecdotes about tourists, especially Americans. Icelanders really hate, hate, hate American tourists, particularly elites who are so demanding about everything. I heard a typical ugly American woman complaining that there was no fat-free/lactose-free yogurt or soy yogurt (sacrilege) in this tiny store in rural Iceland! I felt like screaming at her, but refrained. Clue: don’t go to Iceland if you don’t like dairy products, meat (shark, whale, lamb, puffin; yes), beer, and vodka and partying late into the night in Reykjavik….or are scared to be naked in the locker room of hotsprings…or scared to pee in the wilderness.

Dairy was necessary (Vitamin D) for the Icelanders to survive. This century, they really opened up their pristine land for dorks like this guy to visit – now, there are actually meetings to control/cut down the # of tourists. Mainly, because tourists are litter bugs and don’t “bag their poop” when they are in wilderness areas – kid you not. Icelanders also worry about the lawsuit-crazy Americans. This is a country where there are few guard rails or warnings in truly, rough areas. Hospitals &EMTs are already complaining about demanding Americans who screw-up in the wilderness.

Leftists are such morons in the USA…they fetishsize the Nordic countries all the time, yet know nothing about their societies/history/cultural mores/religious beliefs. I am always surprised that even elite Uni-educated people are so unaware about each particular Scandinavian country. Haha! – he should look to Sweden to see how progressiveness is ruining Sweden.
