From The Economist:

Basic instincts

Identity politics are stronger on the right than the left
The Republican Party is increasingly unified around whiteness

Print edition | United States, Nov 1st 2018

In the popular imagination, identity politics is the stuff of queer-studies seminars and Hillary Clinton rallies. The excesses of intolerant university students raging against misogyny, racism and homophobia have been rigorously catalogued. Rather less attention has been paid to the appetite for a different kind of identity politics—one centred around whiteness and championed by President Donald Trump. This kind of right-leaning identity politics is more potent than the left-leaning version. There is no single cause which unifies the Democratic Party like the sense among some white voters that their status as top dogs is threatened, which binds the Trumpian Republican Party together.

It’s almost as if the Democrats could use a single cause which unifies their Coalition of the Margins … like their sense that whites deserve to be threatened.

For evidence of this, look no further than the president’s closing arguments a week before the mid-term elections on November 6th. Worried about the damage that a Democratic wave in the mid-terms could wreak, Mr Trump has fed his base an artery-clogging diet of red meat.

Isn’t this cliche out of date scientifically?

Recently leaked news that his administration is planning to rip up Obama-era rules on the treatment of transgender people was a poke in the eye for political correctness. The president has also seized on the useful image of a caravan of Central American migrants heading to the southern border.

Mr Trump and his allies have claimed that the caravan is an “invasion” harbouring, among other things, criminals, “Middle Easterners” (apparently meaning terrorists) and “diseases” such as leprosy. (At least the last of these can be deterred by a course of antibiotics.)

So what are you white Republicans worrying about? If, say, your child is in increased danger of catching leprosy at school, don’t you know that leprosy can be deterred by a course of antibiotics?

Checkmate, white people!

In summary, white people started it all by racistly noticing the fate that we at The Economist had long been working on for them.

You mean “in the mid-terms”? It was never in-date constitutionally.

Congressional elections in World Cup years are equal to those in Olympic years. How hard is that for everybody to grasp?

So Democrat identity politics has had nothing to do with appealing to blacks as blacks, hispanics as hispanics, or women as women.

Instead, it has something to do with the excesses of college campus life. And it seems the topic has already been beaten to death.

Thanks for setting us straight, The Economist!

[Trump] also floated the idea of abolishing birthright citizenship by executive order. The fact that the text of the 14th Amendment bars such action is no matter

So, the text of the Fourteenth Amendment specifies that America must grant citizenship to babies of illegal aliens and birth tourist aliens?

I did not know that! And to think I’ve read the Fourteenth Amendment countless times! Thanks again, The Economist!

We are moving toward the inevitable equilibrium. The wildcard of course is how much the Jewish media will choose to escalate things. Are they going to back off? Maybe realize that Whites just want the border under control and don’t particlarly want to send them to the gas chambers? Or freak out and do increasingly crazier things to forestall (but actually incite) the Fourth Reich?

One odd thing has been how several Jews have recently more or less admitted that a lot of the “conspiracies” are factually true. The narrative is something like, well, yes, we are trying to flood you with immigrants. But we aren’t doing it to destroy White civilization per se. We are doing it because of our insecurities and history of persecution and are merely destroying White civilization incidentally.

The Economist took a hard left turn after it was bought by a Rothschild. They used to have a comments section after every article that was very active, and in almost every article readers expressed vastly different views than the editorials, and these commies shut it down. I used to subscribe and read it cover to cover. Since 2016 I no longer even bothered visiting the website.

It’s time for them to rename themselves The Globalist. This third rate rag has never met an immigrant they don’t love. Everyday is hug an immigrant day and every other day is hug a Muslim day at TE. And if they’re not obsessing over immigration, they’re obsessing over sex, especially over gays and transgenders. Have you seen this one?

    https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2018/11/anti-semitism-inherent-trumps-nativism/574672/

The circumstances today, however, are vastly different. One reason hateful nativism so easily morphs into anti-Semitism in the Trump era is that today Jews really do disproportionately support immigration. The major American Jewish organizations overwhelmingly oppose Trump’s immigration policies. So do rank-and-file American Jews, according to several polls. Among whites, Jews were dramatically overrepresented in the civil-rights movement, too.

The segregationist anti-Semites of the mid-20th century and the nativist anti-Semites of today are wrong about Jews’ motives. Jews didn’t support civil rights then—and they don’t support immigrants’ rights now—because they want to subjugate white Christians. They’re just predisposed—because of their understanding of Jewish history—to identify with outsiders and fear ethnically and religiously exclusive definitions of Americanism. But people who demonize African Americans or Latino and Muslim immigrants notice that predisposition, and it leads them to demonize Jews, too.

Notice here again this peculiar belief on the part of Jews that it is perfectly acceptable to destroy the White race so long as it is, as you say, “incidental.”

  37. ‘…There is no single cause which unifies the Democratic Party like the sense among some white voters that their status as top dogs is threatened…’

The tediously repeated irony here that the one group of whites who are most definitely ‘top dogs’ are Jews, and yet it is almost invariably they who denounce the remaining whites, who as a rule merely want to preserve the rather nice country they built for themselves and can still vaguely remember.

Few whites particularly feel any need to be more affluent than anyone else or in any other way ‘top dog.’ This is just denigrating our perfectly reasonable desire to have a decent home for ourselves and our children. It doesn’t particularly disturb me, for example, that several ethnic groups — Jews among them — are wealthier than gentile whites. It does disturb me when, not content with their actual wealth and privilege, they want to accuse me of having it instead, so that they can hound and persecute me.

But WASP elites do their part. The Seattle area is drowning in Chinese and Indians, and their anchor babies are taking over our schools. The #1 importer of all this diversity? Bill Gates. They’re all his H1B code coolies, either directly employed by Microsoft or indirectly through an outsourcing firm like Infosys.

I’m thankful Amazon is establishing HQ2 and HQ3 somewhere else, possibly Dallas and Northern Virginia. Just wish Microsoft would do the same and move the hell somewhere else, preferably to CA, that state is already ruined, no need to go ruin another Red state. Yep, no signs of malice there *at all*.

By his own facile terms it’s easy to retort that mobilized Judaica promotes wholesale society-wrecking immigration because it’s no skin off their back, or threat to their own clannish intra-group’s concerns, and is actually quite helpful to the ol’ wallet in some ways. Yahweh said let my people have cheap maids and gardeners.

You should understand, though for some reason you can’t, that 200 million white Americans were thereby indoctrinated to act in a way that convinces you that they are part of the problem. THEY’RE NOT. There are some collaborators, but the anti-white project is a Jewish project.

Countries don’t have economies, economies have countries. Some people just need to die off if they’re not needed in Prof Krugman’s pink collar, “knowledge” economy. Sorry guys (not really)!

While the Democratic Party is increasingly unified around anti-whiteness which, for some reason, is apparently perfectly acceptable in today’s world. I guess the message is just say no to hate unless it is anti-white hate in which case you should embrace it with both arms.

  87. Though people with high scores on white identity are hostile to immigration, they are also strong supporters of Social Security (federal pensions) and Medicare, the government health-insurance programme for the elderly. Unlike means-tested programmes, such as cash welfare or food stamps, these schemes are seen as benefiting white Americans after a life of hard work. Mr Trump broke with Republican orthodoxy when he promised no cuts in the programmes, while also driving a hard line against immigration of all kinds.

Trumpy wanted to win Florida, so he said no cuts to Social Security nor Medicare, simple as that.

Trumpy also said he would protect Social Security and Medicare. Trumpy just outflanked the GOP politician whores and went about his business of winning the nomination and the presidency.

Read an article a few years back where they were completely dumbfounded about why the black students were not doing anywhere near as well academically as Europeans and Asian students in South Africa. Of course it was still the fault of Afrikaners.

Well, well. Now that you mention it, YouTube has just been caught in a scheme to funnel Vox $20 million dollars to make “educational” videos for them. Hint: Vox, like most of these Leftist companies, don’t make money, so they get subsidized by the government through tax policy, corporations, and leftist billionaires. You guys should really look into the finances of Vox, Buzzfeed, the WaPo and the like. It’s almost like they are state propaganda.

i come from that “east anglian puritan” type ancestry so i completely agree there is an universalist, egalitarian, messianic aspect to it which is very dangerous if harnessed to a bad ideology like globohomo

however that ancestry is only attached to globohomo cos they were conned by the blank slate ideology

the same ancestry combined with acceptance of genetic reality would have a completely different outcome (no doubt equally arrogant and morally superior but different)

I don’t see how anyone could say with a straight face that the democrat party is united by anything other than racist hatred for whites at this point. And to a lesser degree, men. The proof can be found in various polling data. Blacks and Hispanics, for example, tend to share many of the same social beliefs of conservative white republicans. They even share some of the same economic beliefs like restricting immigration and being skeptical of free trade. However, those two groups overwhelmingly vote democrat in every election. Therefore, policy – and even ideology – cannot fully explain their voting patterns (the same with Jews and Asians). Anti-white animus would seem to be the obvious take away here.

Otherwise, these groups should be much more supportive of republicans: Trump has slapped tariffs on foreign nations dumping junk into our country; Trump demands a renegotiation of NAFTA (something Obama lied about); wage growth is good; Trump solved the North Korean nuclear crisis; Trump has refused to sign the TPP, something that would have been devastating for poor minorities; the job market is better than it was; Trump opposes immigration that hurts poor blacks and Hispanics; he opposes the affirmative action policies that harm high-achieving Asians; and he’s been good to Jews by supporting Israel…..so, why the hell aren’t these groups supporting him? Answer: these groups aren’t voting based on reason and logic but on pure tribal affinity and racial hatred for whites. This could be the time when the mask finally falls off the face of “US Democracy”, exposing it as nothing but warring tribes of people who hate each other. The elephant in the room is, “what comes next?”

The controlled media says that it’s the whites who are racially unifying and being racist. Well, perhaps…but why? Perhaps they could ask if the continual stream of racism from the other side has something to do with it.

Here is how Jeff Bezos’s Washington Post frames it:

“Trump stokes resentment toward minorities. Republicans just smile.”

That’s funny. You’d think that outfits like the Washington Post have been stoking racial resentment against whites considering the thousands of articles they’ve collectively published with their friends about “white supremacy, white privilege, whiteness, the Patriarchy, get Becky, BLM, and justifying Confederate statue attacks” – between the times when they aren’t attacking Kanye West for being a race traitor Uncle Tom. The controlled media even have geniuses like Jennifer Rubin, Brett Stephens, and Max Boot on board who openly fantasize about deporting whites and packing the Supreme Court. Genius ex-Hollywood lawyer and foreign policy extraordinaire Jennifer “bomb Iran” Rubin even once appeared on MSNBC to encourage mobs of people to harass Sarah Huckabee for life. My, what tolerant people these Washington Post types are; the farthest thing away from hypocritical bald-faced liars. What integrity.

I dropped the NYT in 2000, even as I knew they were left-liberal to begin with, but their hectoring about what to think became oppressive and unbearable.

I dropped The Economist long before that. A conservative (in temperament), though classically liberal (ordered liberty with limited government) in politics, that yielding to progressive-left (top-down, one-size-fits-all) partisanship is simply an about-face in substance.

They made their choice–I made my choice.

“big business pretending to believe in SJW identity politics out of a desire for open borders for cheap labor is one of the critical factors to understand in modern politics.”
Ain’t that the truth. Just look at the ads big coproporations are putting out these days; vast overrepsresntation of non-whites. especially blacks, with many ads blantantly anti-white. You’d never guess blacks are only 13% of the population and that the purchasing power of whites, both by median income and sheer numbers, vastly outstrips them.

It has become fashionable for ostensibly conservative commentators to call into question and delegitimize identity politics.

It’s the preemptive rebuttal to charges of racism: “I don’t see race, I see a person–I’m color-blind to race.” And since Democrats instinctively adopt identity politics, the putative conservative must reject identity politics.

This attitude is also an adoption of MLK’s as laid out in his 1963 “I have a dream” speech–where the content of one’s character is more important than the color of one’s skin (paraphrasing).

The putative conservative, apparently, hasn’t noticed that the Democratic Party and every special-interest identity group has rejected MLK’s dream, in favor of set-asides for those identity groups.

What’s new, starting in 2016, was the purported horror that Whites might be acting as an identity group–hence, all the hectoring about white supremacy, white nationalism, white privilege, etc., as if everyone except Whites could so coalesce…

And all of them, Trump included, are in terror of telling the truth.

Without White America, the mewling GOP really would become the emasculated empty shell that it is.

And truth be told, were he and they to grab their primary sex organs and tell that truth, how many Whites could tolerate being called “racist”?
