Keep your shirt on while riding horses inside retail shops.

From the Daily Mail:

He backed the right horse! Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos celebrates his wealth topping $100 BILLION in 2018 by going full COWBOY on bizarre horseback ride through Aspen store

Bezos seems to enjoy being the richest man in the world.

Confession: I’m getting Bezos and Bevo confused in keeping track of recent stories about large animals imprudently allowed indoors.

  1. But does he have to black up to get into the online American Cowboys Hall of Fame?

  2. I imagine he realizes that if he weren’t rich, he’d have SMV of the comic book store owner from The Big Bang Theory:

Just what are you implying about Bezos’ relationship with that horse? I guess you can get away with things in the West that would never fly in places like Wellington Florida where Gates keeps his stable.

And just imagine how much enjoyment Jeffrey Epstein could have had with Bezos’ money instead of Les Wexner’s paltry billions..

Wealth is a stock, GDP is a flow.

It's the political influence that that money buys, rather than the inequality it evinces, that we should object to.

Bezos's genius is in bringing Foxconn's management practices back home. Pretty soon they'll be wearing Triangle® shirtwaists at work.

America is more spacious than China, and Bezos won't even have to install nets on his squat buildings to discourage mass suicides. Though workers comp won't cover the broken legs.

  22. When he started Amazon Jeff Bezos stated he was in favour of freedom of expression and free speech and supported all points of view. That attitude stopped in 2017 when Amazon stopped selling books of a revisionist nature on the holocaust. I used to have an Amazon account and bought heaps of stuff from them but out of principle I have not bought one item since this ban.

  26. Bezos seems to enjoy being the richest man in the world.

Seeing how the richest guy in the world spends his money does raise an interesting question about who enjoys getting/being rich and why.

Some people want to be rich in order to “live large.” But it seems like that mind-set doesn’t correlate well with the traits required to actually get rich. And if they do get rich or semi-rich, they tend to dissipate their wealth in conspicuous consumption.

Other people want to get rich so they can have security and respectability, take care of their families, and enjoy a happy life. This is probably the healthiest attitude. And a lot of those people probably do get “rich.” But they also probably ease up on their risk and effort after they hit a few million in net worth and so they aren’t going to make it into the ranks of the super-wealthy very often.

On the other hand, the mega wealthy (at least in the capitalist meritocratic segment of the economy) seem to have a hyper-competitive drive to simply pile up the dollars and keep doubling-down. If that wasn’t their attitude I guess they would never have gotten that rich in the first place.

  30. Putin reversed a cataclysmic regional collapse and an abdicated, out of control war, and did so at a time when neither resolution looked possible, and he could have gotten work in the West or stayed safe.
Bezos capitalized on some bright logistics and organizational ideas, and put good bookstores out of business.

Aspen is considered (by these youngest age groups) to be full of degenerate fornicators, ugly-assed boomers and X & Yers – ugly women full of silicon; ugly men with implants (forget your planes and stuff) hahaaa. This was actually, last years news, btw.

BTW, Putin has better weapons and faster ones…so, Bezos, Gates, Zuckerberg are still Putin’s bitch. Time for them to tone it down. I so hate Ivy League guys because they soooooo hate humanity. Every.Single.Time*

all most all, but, yeah, what is up with their hatred? Why do they hate so much?
