He’s black, gay, and has H.I.V. That’s a lot of Pokemon Points.

So, he’s holy.

From the New York Times (and no, I’m not making this up, even though this article reads like a parody product of my analysis of where the conventional wisdom has been headed):

He Emerged From Prison a Potent Symbol of H.I.V. Criminalization

Michael L. Johnson, a gay athlete convicted of not disclosing his H.I.V. status to sexual partners, was released 25 years early and has become a galvanizing force to overhaul laws.

By Emily S. Rueb
July 14, 2019

Last week, Michael L. Johnson, a former college wrestler convicted of failing to disclose to sexual partners that he was H.I.V. positive in a racially charged case that reignited calls to re-examine laws that criminalize H.I.V. exposure, walked out of the Boonville Correctional Center in Missouri 25 years earlier than expected.

… His case, which encompasses a half-dozen years of court appearances, unflattering headlines and stints in solitary confinement, has galvanized advocates working to update laws that they say further stigmatize and unfairly penalize people with H.I.V.

Mr. Johnson, who was a black, gay athlete at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo., has become a public face of people who are disproportionately affected by the virus and entangled in the criminal justice system. (If current trends continue, about half of all black men who have sex with men in the United States will eventually learn they have H.I.V., according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.)

As we all know, the white racist Ronald Reagan snuck around injecting gay blacks with the AIDS virus.

Mr. Johnson’s legal troubles began in 2013, when he was arrested after a white man he had had consensual sex with told the police he believed that Mr. Johnson had given him the virus.

Five other men, three of them white, would later testify that Mr. Johnson had not only failed to disclose his H.I.V. status before engaging in consensual sex, but had willfully lied about it.

Four out of the six were white.

Case dismissed!

By the way, I’ve put the New York Times’ use of “white” in bold.

Mr. Johnson has publicly maintained that he informed all six men he was H.I.V. positive before having sex without a condom.

Well, sure there were six of them versus one of him, but how many Diversity Pokemon Points did they have? And by “they,” I mean the six, not Farhad Theyjoo.

After a weeklong trial in 2015 in St. Charles County, a conservative, predominantly white area northwest of St. Louis, Mr. Johnson was convicted on multiple felony counts, including recklessly infecting another with H.I.V., which carries a 10-year minimum sentence.

The jury sought the maximum penalty of 60½ years even though prosecutors offered no genetic evidence that Mr. Johnson had infected any of his partners, according to BuzzFeed News. …

“We’re still operating under laws that were based on views that are outdated and are proven inaccurate by science,” said Tim Lohmar, the St. Charles County prosecuting attorney, whose office’s handling of the trial has been criticized.

H.I.V. is caused by white racism. That’s just Settled Science.

Missouri is one of about 34 states with laws that make it a crime to expose another person to the virus without disclosure or add additional penalties for people with H.I.V. who are convicted of separate offenses, such as sex work, according to the nonprofit Center for H.I.V. Law and Policy. In six states, a person may be required to register as a sex offender if convicted of an H.I.V.-related crime.

Many of these laws were written in the 1980s and 1990s under a fog of fear about the virus and how it was transmitted, and before the advent of effective treatments. In those years, Magic Johnson’s sweat on the basketball court and Greg Louganis’s blood on a diving board panicked fans and teammates. Parents pulled children from school in 1985 because an H.I.V.-positive boy with hemophilia was in their seventh-grade class.

Back then, an H.I.V. diagnosis meant debilitating symptoms and almost certain death.

For the last five years, Steven Thrasher, a journalism professor at Northwestern University, has chronicled Michael L. Johnson’s case for BuzzFeed News and recently completed his doctoral dissertation on race and H.I.V. criminalization.

Dr. Thrasher, who greeted Mr. Johnson outside the correctional facility on Tuesday, said he was first drawn to the case because of its parallels with the history of black sexuality and lynching.

“Black men would just get lynched anytime they had sex with white women in the Reconstruction period,” he said. “There was no consensual sex that could be had between white women and black men.”

Mr. Johnson’s wrestler’s body — he called himself “Tiger Mandingo” online — was a source of fascination for some of his partners. But when Mr. Johnson tested positive for H.I.V., Dr. Thrasher wrote, he became “the perfect scapegoat.”

“It was not that he had no agency or responsibility in the story,” Dr. Thrasher said on Thursday, but “he was really holding all of this anxiety and all of this worry about AIDS and stigma and H.I.V. and queerness in America all on his shoulders.”

Mr. Lohmar, the St. Charles County prosecutor, said on Thursday that “nothing about the trial was unfair,” except for his team’s failure to present certain evidence to the defense in time.

Because prosecutors did not disclose some evidence to the defense until the morning of the trial — recorded phone conversations Mr. Johnson made while in the county jail — an appeals court decided to overturn the conviction 17 months after the original sentencing.

Instead of a new trial, Mr. Johnson, who previously had a clean criminal record, accepted a plea deal in which he did not admit guilt but agreed to a 10-year sentence. …

During his incarceration, Mr. Johnson wrote thank-you notes to friends and strangers who had written to him in support, which he said helped him deal with homophobia in prison and self-doubt.

In theory, H.I.V. exposure laws are meant to encourage H.I.V.-positive individuals to disclose their status before having sex, and to practice safer sex, with the ultimate goal of preventing the spread of the virus.

But there is no evidence that these laws have reduced risky behavior or encouraged disclosure, said Catherine Hanssens, the executive director of the Center for H.I.V. Law and Policy, which provided legal support for Mr. Johnson’s case.

In the eyes of the law, an H.I.V. diagnosis is conflated with malice, she added.

“These laws effectively treat an H.I.V. diagnosis itself as evidence that the person acted with bad intentions when sex or other types of physical contact are involved in a crime,” she said.

Additionally, many laws do not reflect recent treatment options that can give patients a life expectancy almost as long as the general population. A pill taken daily can almost eliminate transmission, experts say. But there remain large barriers to eradicating the virus, including the high cost of antiretroviral drugs, access issues, medical mistrust and other social barriers in poor and black communities.

… Mr. Lohmar said he learned of Mr. Johnson’s release after receiving a call from one of the witnesses in the trial, who was upset that he was not notified.

But who cares about him? After all, there’s a 4/6th chance he is white.

Here's another news story involving homosexuality.

LA news anchor Chris Burrous had a sexual encounter with a random gay man at a motel. They met through a gay sex app.

During the encounter, Burrous put on a mask and had the other gay man "bareback" him. During the encounter, Burrous placed two "rocks" of meth into his anus.

Burrous then began to vomit into the mask and apparently asphxyiated.

The other gay man tried to perform CPR, but wasn't able to save Burrous. Burrous left behind a wife and 9 year-old daughter. See the video below.

So because one psycho lies it means same-sex attraction is a mental illness? What? You do realize these men thought he was not HIV positive when they had sex with him. And if you're going to say the urge to have sex without a condom means you're mentally ill then I'm sorry to say you understand nothing about human sexuality.

"Just try and persuade me that homosexuality is not a mental illness."

Just try and persuade me that Jewish Supremacy Inc. that has its fingerprints all over this in so many ways isn't a mental illness.

For anyone really paying attention today it's impossible not to arrive at this conclusion.

And more and more are. Hence the Hate Speech Laws and the banning of "Antisemitism" to crush freedom and shut us up.

    , @Prester John
Recall that homosexuality WAS defined as a mental disease up until the early 70s when the American Psychiatric Association removed this category from their books. Of course, the term mental disease has a lot of elasticity--in the USSR political dissent was considered a priori a "mental disease". I don't know whether the APA came to their conclusion as a result of scientific research (to the extent that exploration of the human mind can even be, strictly speaking, "scientific") or if they succumbed to pressure, Don Cordleone-style.

In any case homosexuality is now considered an alternate form of sexual expression...or something.

Except for hospitals, the entire non profit sector needs to be abolished Its worth about 985 billion. It’s anti White anti heterosexual and a subversive destructive anti White ever growing cancer.

It needs to be abolished I’m thinking the way Henry 8 and Thomas Cromwell abolished the monasteries. The easiest way would be to abolish the tax deductible charity donations. The taxes thus paid would enable the government to do more do gooder and infrastructure work and greatly reduce taxes overall.

Those who disapprove of the destruction since the 1960s should realize that all those public law firms and community organizations were non profits funded by tax deductible donations as well as government grants.

The gay movement was largely funded by the money federal state and local governments poured into the AIDS crisis. Most of the money did not go to medical care and research. Most of the money went to homosexual activism.

National Review once estimated that there were 11 workers for every AIDS patient in the country. Only 1 of those workers was a medical or research worker. The other 10 were activists pretending to raise consciousness of AIDS but actually working on gay marriage and the rest of the homosexual agenda

They make it sound like HIV is nothing, that there is an “effective treatment.” All treatments only slow the spread of HIV, there are serious and uncomfortable side effects, and you can look forward to constant doctor’s visits and monitoring and the necessity of taking meds on a rigid schedule for the rest of your life, which will not be as long and healthy as it would have been without HIV.

But HIV is considered not that big a deal now by California legislators. On the other hand, measles, there’s a scary disease! Have you heard that there have been well over a thousand cases so far this year? The number of “cases” is what the media uses, because there have been zero deaths. It turns out that sixty years of medical care advancement has taken much of the sting out of Mr. Measles, although it’s still unpleasant for the patient. But from the media, you’d think that measles is the black plague, which it kind of is, since the plague is not that deadly anymore in Western countries either.

I heard a report the other day about urinary tract infections and how standard antibiotics are often ineffective against them now. Without insisting, as I am hardly an epidemiologist, I can well imagine that the current period of effective treatment of AIDS is not necessarily going to last forever. Could the anti-retroviral therapy eventually fade in efficacy as antibiotics do? If so, then the immense number of HIV-infected people is not going to seem so benign.

What is the annual death rate of homeless gay black meth-injecting prostitutes who *don’t know* Ed Buck?

  31. It’s an original argument: with Gay Bowel Syndrome no longer a death sentence by slow wasting, it’s inhumane to punish those who knowingly infect others (and, with a bit of well-practiced naivete, we can pretend that this deliberate transmission isn’t gleeful- perhaps on both ends.)

We could see this same argument advanced elsewhere, even outside the Circuit Court of Gomorrah. With advances in trauma surgery over the last thirty years, the likelihood of dying from a gunshot wound has markedly decreased: why not, then, reduce attempted firearms murder charges to simple battery? This would have the added bonus of disproportionately reducing sentences typically issued to church choir singers and future honor students just gettin’ they lives together.

An interesting tacit admission from the legal experts here; any attempt to use either carrot or stick on Rectal-Americans (beyond how they’ve grown accustomed to taking them) is futile: a Basic Hierarchy of Homosexual Needs would have “unprotected anal sex” somewhere between water, food, and shelter, but never lower.

That means Johnson had to lay pipe 250 times to infect those five fairies alone, and they had to want it. The only crime is to the taxpayer.

The same-sex social and political movement is plenty dysfunctional. No shortage of examples.

    , @TWS
Could you set up a couple more straw men? It means that it's clear evidence it's a mental illness. Before 1973, the DSM listed it as a mental illness under paraphilia. The diagnosis hasn't changed only been removed as a paraphilia. It's the literal definition.
    , @stillCARealist
    Medium,

I understand your frustration, but you're in a very dangerous community. I don't even have to tell you about the drugs and alcohol, the lies and deceit, the betrayals and cheating, the diseases, the abuse, the violence, the shame, guys treating each other like meat, treating women like non-persons, manipulating younger guys, forcing acts that shouldn't be done, prostitution....

Homosexuality brings nothing positive to any family or society or individual so you should keep this tucked away in a safe place. I know perfectly well that there have been great contributions to art and science from homos over the years and I hope those continue. But I also know that their sexuality was tangential to their genius and likely part of their mental illness that bubbled around their abilities. I've seen this first hand in my own family and friends.

Something to think about: My dad, before he died, confessed that his two brilliant cousins, who never married, were likely attracted to men only. These guys were in their primes in the early 50's, when open homosexuality would mean career and social suicide. And yet, they had productive lives as scientists and artists, were a benefit to those around them, and never came out of the closet. Why not pursue that model? Why defend the current one that passes on horrible diseases to strangers just for pleasure's sake? Half of all gay, black men will be HIV positive in a few years. Is this really something to celebrate?

And if you’re going to say the urge to have sex without a condom means you’re mentally ill then I’m sorry to say you understand nothing about human sexuality.

They make it sound like HIV is nothing, that there is an "effective treatment." All treatments only slow the spread of HIV, there are serious and uncomfortable side effects, and you can look forward to constant doctor's visits and monitoring and the necessity of taking meds on a rigid schedule for the rest of your life, which will not be as long and healthy as it would have been without HIV.

But HIV is considered not that big a deal now by California legislators. On the other hand, measles, there's a scary disease! Have you heard that there have been well over a thousand cases so far this year? The number of "cases" is what the media uses, because there have been zero deaths. It turns out that sixty years of medical care advancement has taken much of the sting out of Mr. Measles, although it's still unpleasant for the patient. But from the media, you'd think that measles is the black plague, which it kind of is, since the plague is not that deadly anymore in Western countries either.

Yes, the disconnect is staggering. They crassly downplay the lifelong effects of HIV in service to putting this evil man back on the street.

Meanwhile, Marc Christian (Rock Hudson era) gets five million or so just for being exposed but not getting HIV.

    Evidently not.

Here is the correct computation (dunno if the 2% is correct, but let's assume)

To stay uninfected after N tries, you need to hit that 98% chance of staying uninfected each time, so:

Probability of being uninfected after N tries = 0.98^N

    thus:

    Probability of being infected after N tries = 1 - 0.98^N

    A little Excel reveals (N in A1 vs. FLOOR((1-(0.98^A1))*100,1) in A2):

    1 2
    2 3
    3 5
    4 7
    5 9
    6 11
    7 13
    8 14

    10 18

    12 21
    13 23

    15 26
    16 27
    17 29
    18 30
    19 31
    20 33
    21 34
    22 35
    23 37

    25 39
    26 40

    33 48
    34 49
    35 50 <----

Also, ‘effective treatment’ means a lifelong course of expensive medications to suppress the disease, but also a paid medical retirement. Isn’t it great this is all funded by the generous tax payer?

  69. ‘Potent symbol’, really?

  70. If current trends continue, about half of all black men who have sex with men in the United States will eventually learn they have H.I.V., according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Yes, the disconnect is staggering. They crassly downplay the lifelong effects of HIV in service to putting this evil man back on the street.

Meanwhile, Marc Christian (Rock Hudson era) gets five million or so just for being exposed but not getting HIV.

Well, if you’re gonna get infected, knowingly or otherwise, it’s probably best to choose a millionaire to do the deed. Consider how many women are getting rich from wealthy jews in the metoo scandals, and afaik they’re not carrying HIV.

"I’m sorry to say you understand nothing about human sexuality." Or, maybe he's a normal and doesn't understand homosexuality. At 2% per, it takes twenty five rides up the alimentary canal from an infected partner just to transmit a 50% risk of infection. That means Johnson had to lay pipe 250 times to infect those five fairies alone, and they had to want it. The only crime is to the taxpayer.

    Evidently not.

Here is the correct computation (dunno if the 2% is correct, but let’s assume)

To stay uninfected after N tries, you need to hit that 98% chance of staying uninfected each time, so:

Probability of being uninfected after N tries = 0.98^N

    thus:

    Probability of being infected after N tries = 1 – 0.98^N

    A little Excel reveals (N in A1 vs. FLOOR((1-(0.98^A1))*100,1) in A2):

    1 2
    2 3
    3 5
    4 7
    5 9
    6 11
    7 13
    8 14
    9 16
    10 18
    11 19
    12 21
    13 23
    14 24
    15 26
    16 27
    17 29
    18 30
    19 31
    20 33
    21 34
    22 35
    23 37
    24 38
    25 39
    26 40
    27 42
    28 43
    29 44
    30 45
    31 46
    32 47
    33 48
    34 49
    35 50 <—-
    36 51
    37 52

So, 35 times for 50%, not 250 times.

    Dude.

Measels is NOT FUN, brings serious complications and it is very infectuous.

Nah, the proper term is “deplorable.”

Blacks and gays disproportionately (due to their sexual behaviour patterns).

It's an original argument: with Gay Bowel Syndrome no longer a death sentence by slow wasting, it's inhumane to punish those who knowingly infect others (and, with a bit of well-practiced naivete, we can pretend that this deliberate transmission isn't gleeful- perhaps on both ends.)

This would have the added bonus of disproportionately reducing sentences typically issued to church choir singers and future honor students just gettin' they lives together.

An interesting tacit admission from the legal experts here; any attempt to use either carrot or stick on Rectal-Americans (beyond how they've grown accustomed to taking them) is futile: a Basic Hierarchy of Homosexual Needs would have "unprotected anal sex" somewhere between water, food, and shelter, but never lower.

Also, it's good to see that Stephen Thrasher has landed a permanent gig Stateside; for those who appreciate fine iSteve content, the man is a treasure:

Here we have societal decline mandated by technological advancement.

Could you set up a couple more straw men? It means that it’s clear evidence it’s a mental illness. Before 1973, the DSM listed it as a mental illness under paraphilia. The diagnosis hasn’t changed only been removed as a paraphilia. It’s the literal definition.

Your post is circular logic. But I'll bite and let's say that it is a mental illness. So what, it can't be cured (please don't link me to some video of hilariously obvious, self-hating gay men who went to a conversion therapy camp), it can't be prevented, and it involves otherwise normal-functioning adults who can contribute to society like anyone else. Let people live their lives, no one is forcing you to be gay.

Recall that homosexuality WAS defined as a mental disease up until the early 70s when the American Psychiatric Association removed this category from their books. Of course, the term mental disease has a lot of elasticity–in the USSR political dissent was considered a priori a “mental disease”. I don’t know whether the APA came to their conclusion as a result of scientific research (to the extent that exploration of the human mind can even be, strictly speaking, “scientific”) or if they succumbed to pressure, Don Cordleone-style.

In any case homosexuality is now considered an alternate form of sexual expression…or something.

    Medium,

I understand your frustration, but you’re in a very dangerous community. I don’t even have to tell you about the drugs and alcohol, the lies and deceit, the betrayals and cheating, the diseases, the abuse, the violence, the shame, guys treating each other like meat, treating women like non-persons, manipulating younger guys, forcing acts that shouldn’t be done, prostitution….

I’ve seen this first hand in my own family and friends.

Something to think about: My dad, before he died, confessed that his two brilliant cousins, who never married, were likely attracted to men only. These guys were in their primes in the early 50’s, when open homosexuality would mean career and social suicide. And yet, they had productive lives as scientists and artists, were a benefit to those around them, and never came out of the closet. Why not pursue that model? Why defend the current one that passes on horrible diseases to strangers just for pleasure’s sake? Half of all gay, black men will be HIV positive in a few years. Is this really something to celebrate?

    • Replies: @TheMediumIsTheMassage
It sounds to me like you talked to three people in the party scene in San Francisco and New York and have decided that every gay man lives the same life. You're wrong. Most of the gay men I know are in committed long-term relationships and lead normal, productive lives with solid jobs and educations. Like with any group of people, especially one that spans every social class, race, ethnicity, etc., there is going to be a ton of variability. The ones that get the most attention are the coked out orgy-participating perennial bachelors who end up OD'ing. That doesn't mean everyone is remotely like that. I choose to associate myself with stable, normal people, and so do plenty of other gay men.

Perhaps you should've asked your dad's cousins if they liked having to be in the closet. You're looking at them from your perspective, where maybe everything seemed fine, but I've lived in very conservative places and there is absolutely nothing positive about living in the closet. It's daily trauma and torture. The terror of being found out and growing up gay in a very anti-gay environment causes similar effects to PTSD (there's been research on this). "Half of all gay, black men will be HIV positive" Since I'm on unz.com you can imagine I'm quite aware of the differences in behaviour between races. I've never had penetrative sex with a black man because of this, I'm not playing russian roulette with my health, even though I always use condoms.

As for the rest of your list of sins and vices that I should protect myself from:

"Drugs and alcohol" In the meth orgy New York scene, sure. However, most gay men don't live like that. I've never even seen anyone do anything other than weed.

"Lies and deceit, betrayals and cheating" You really have no idea what young women are like if you think this is just something gays should worry about. One of the fun little things of being gay is that women will tell you everything. Straight men should be FAR more worried about lies and deceit and cheating, especially with the implications for paternity...

"the violence" Never been hit by a partner or had any kind of violent experience. No one I know has ever told me about anything like that either. If you have any sense about you it's easy to know what kind of guys to avoid, even from a dating app.

"the diseases" Been with 25+ men and never had a venereal disease, not even herpes. Again, if you know what kind of guys to avoid and you have basic impulse control and wear a condom, you're fine. Unfortunately having huge impulse control isn't a universal trait, and gay men get HIV the same way teen girls get pregnant.

"guys treating each other like meat" Men do this with everyone, and like I've said, gay men also have loving long-term relationships. There are people who geniunely believe gay men can't love each other. Those people are flat out wrong.

"treating women like non-persons" ?? Gay men universally have great friendships with women. Just because I don't treat women like they're God doesn't mean they're "non-persons". Are you a woman? Please stop expecting every man to worship the ground you step on.

"The shame" A lot of it comes from people like you. I will concede modern gay culture is extremely obsessed with youth and perfect bodies and the Jew-created/funded dating apps don't help in that regard. Most gay men have body image issues.

"manipulating younger guys" Because no straight man or woman ever tried to seduce someone younger, no, just the gays.

The gays have their problems but I can assure you that there are plenty of wonderful relationships, friendships, and, yes, families too that come out of the gay world.

See the video below.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kv2TuE4HmX0

Imagine being his wife. What the hell do you tell the 9 year-old daughter? When she asks what happened to daddy, what are you supposed to say?

The daughter might already know what has happened. The whole thing is on the internet. From now on to eternity. His wife has no choice, and his daughter has no choice.

“an American version of Orban who seeks to fine and jail these “do-gooder” FREAKS who work to destroy our civilization”

I’d be satisfied if my tax dollars stopped subsidizing them via student “loans” that don’t have to be paid back.

A feel good article for you here:

    https://www.juneauempire.com/news/university-of-alaska-anchorage-shelter-prepare-for-cuts/

All hail Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy, who sliced 40% of the U of Alaska’s state funding (17% of its overall budget cut). Up to 1,000 professors and educrats will be laid off! Probably 90% of them Trump haters. (In blue states it’s more like 98%).

To see just how bloated Big Ed is now, Alaska has 663,000 residents. A 17% cut to the U of A budget is resulting in at least 1,000 layoffs, suggesting 5,000+ total employees.

Thus about 1.5% of the employed adult population in Alaska work for the U of A.

I am so sick and tired of states using higher education (i.e. sinecures for educated derelicts) for the political purpose (one of many) of attracting the “right” kind of new resident.

AK is one, huge, welfare case, even without counting the oil royalties (bribes) it distributes to residents in order to keep them (on paper) from fleeing.

AK shouldn’t even be a US state.

The same goes for many of those other, sparsely populated mountain states (settlements).

The taxes thus paid would enable the government to do more do gooder and infrastructure work and greatly reduce taxes overall.

Lower taxes by maintaining the same level of government spending.

    Voodoo economics.

So because one psycho lies it means same-sex attraction is a mental illness? What? You do realize these men thought he was not HIV positive when they had sex with him. And if you're going to say the urge to have sex without a condom means you're mentally ill then I'm sorry to say you understand nothing about human sexuality.

I don’t know whether the APA came to their conclusion as a result of scientific research (to the extent that exploration of the human mind can even be, strictly speaking, “scientific”) or if they succumbed to pressure, Don Cordleone-style.

There is an article online somewhere explaining how it was done. APA members who were considered unfriendly to the cause were targeted by by activists and harassed to ensure they voted for the measure, or simply abstained.

    Condoms don’t prevent HIV transmission.

They pretty much do. And if you have any sense you’ll check it afterwards to make sure it didn’t rip (such as by filling it with water, even the tiniest hole will be noticeable then). Women do this too in order to avoid accidental pregnancies.

Could you set up a couple more straw men? It means that it's clear evidence it's a mental illness. Before 1973, the DSM listed it as a mental illness under paraphilia. The diagnosis hasn't changed only been removed as a paraphilia. It's the literal definition.

Your post is circular logic. But I’ll bite and let’s say that it is a mental illness. So what, it can’t be cured (please don’t link me to some video of hilariously obvious, self-hating gay men who went to a conversion therapy camp), it can’t be prevented, and it involves otherwise normal-functioning adults who can contribute to society like anyone else. Let people live their lives, no one is forcing you to be gay.

It sounds to me like you talked to three people in the party scene in San Francisco and New York and have decided that every gay man lives the same life. You’re wrong. Most of the gay men I know are in committed long-term relationships and lead normal, productive lives with solid jobs and educations. Like with any group of people, especially one that spans every social class, race, ethnicity, etc., there is going to be a ton of variability. The ones that get the most attention are the coked out orgy-participating perennial bachelors who end up OD’ing. That doesn’t mean everyone is remotely like that. I choose to associate myself with stable, normal people, and so do plenty of other gay men.

Perhaps you should’ve asked your dad’s cousins if they liked having to be in the closet. You’re looking at them from your perspective, where maybe everything seemed fine, but I’ve lived in very conservative places and there is absolutely nothing positive about living in the closet. It’s daily trauma and torture. The terror of being found out and growing up gay in a very anti-gay environment causes similar effects to PTSD (there’s been research on this). “Half of all gay, black men will be HIV positive” Since I’m on unz.com you can imagine I’m quite aware of the differences in behaviour between races. I’ve never had penetrative sex with a black man because of this, I’m not playing russian roulette with my health, even though I always use condoms.

As for the rest of your list of sins and vices that I should protect myself from:

“Drugs and alcohol” In the meth orgy New York scene, sure. However, most gay men don’t live like that. I’ve never even seen anyone do anything other than weed.

“Lies and deceit, betrayals and cheating” You really have no idea what young women are like if you think this is just something gays should worry about. One of the fun little things of being gay is that women will tell you everything. Straight men should be FAR more worried about lies and deceit and cheating, especially with the implications for paternity…

“the violence” Never been hit by a partner or had any kind of violent experience. No one I know has ever told me about anything like that either. If you have any sense about you it’s easy to know what kind of guys to avoid, even from a dating app.

“the diseases” Been with 25+ men and never had a venereal disease, not even herpes. Again, if you know what kind of guys to avoid and you have basic impulse control and wear a condom, you’re fine. Unfortunately having huge impulse control isn’t a universal trait, and gay men get HIV the same way teen girls get pregnant.

“guys treating each other like meat” Men do this with everyone, and like I’ve said, gay men also have loving long-term relationships. There are people who geniunely believe gay men can’t love each other. Those people are flat out wrong.

“treating women like non-persons” ?? Gay men universally have great friendships with women. Just because I don’t treat women like they’re God doesn’t mean they’re “non-persons”. Are you a woman? Please stop expecting every man to worship the ground you step on.

“The shame” A lot of it comes from people like you. I will concede modern gay culture is extremely obsessed with youth and perfect bodies and the Jew-created/funded dating apps don’t help in that regard. Most gay men have body image issues.

“manipulating younger guys” Because no straight man or woman ever tried to seduce someone younger, no, just the gays.

The gays have their problems but I can assure you that there are plenty of wonderful relationships, friendships, and, yes, families too that come out of the gay world.

How is a non-discrimination law affirmative action?? No one is giving jobs to gays just because they're gay except in like Broadway and a fashion magazine. The law prevents them from LOSING the job just because they're gay. Which can happen anyway as it's very easy to make up a reason why you're firing someone. But even if you can't fire them because they're gay it's not the same as forcing people or creating an impetus to hire someone in the first place because of that. Companies don't get more government funding because they have gay workers. There are no laws that make it ok to discriminate in favour of gay people when hiring.
