If the greatest poker game of all times will end by nuclear grand slam, and the survivors will review the causes of WWIII, they will die laughing. The Third World War had been fought to save al Qaeda. Yes, my dear readers! Uncle Sam invaded Afghanistan in order to punish al Qaeda, and now he started the World War to save al Qaeda. Positively a great ambivalent passionate love/hate relationship between the American gentleman and the Arab girl, from 9/11 to Aleppo.

For the future historians, the WWIII commenced with the US decision to terminate bilateral talks with Russia over Syria. Let the arms do the talking, they said. Here is an exclusive revelation:

The US decided to suspend talks after Russia called for withdrawal of al Qaeda (al Nusra Front etc.) fighters from Aleppo. This was the casus belli.

I have in my possession two war-starting documents:

Document One, headlined October 2 Agreement. This is an American draft of an agreement presented by State Secretary John Kerry to Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Its first line said “The Russian Federation will ensure an immediate halt on October 3 to all offensive military operations etc.”. It is based on the older short-lived Lavrov-Kerry agreement with an important addition: “without the previous requirement for repositioning of forces”.

Document Two, called Reducing violence in Aleppo, full-scale humanitarian assistance to civilian population, setting of “effective Cessation of Hostilities” and separation of moderate opposition forces and Jabhat Al-Nusra. It is subtitled “position document draft”. This is the Russian counter-proposal, confirming the Geneva agreement of September 9, 2016.

Its most important part is the call to separate al-Qaeda fighters (aka terrorists) through pushing the terrorists out of Aleppo via humanitarian corridor to the Castello Road.

This Document has been answered by American termination of talks.

Thus, the Russians wanted to take al-Qaeda out of Aleppo, so the city can be fed and brought back to life. The Americans were ready to start armed hostilities against Russia for the right of Al Qaeda to remain in the city.

In other words, the Americans did not believe in their own myth of moderate opposition. They knew, as well as the Russians, that without “terrorists”, the insurgency in Syria is doomed. They did not want to let Syria be under Assad and with the Russians.

As usual, they made a lot of humanitarian-sounding noise about suffering children of Aleppo. Why Aleppo, and not Mosul with its mounting victims? Just because the killers of Mosul are supported by the US? Why not Yemen, where Saudi troops using American weapons (procured after giving a hefty bribe to Clinton’s war chest) to kill more children than there are in Aleppo? And where is this great sisterly supporter of Mme Clinton, Mrs Albright who famously said “it was worth it” to kill five hundred thousand children of Iraq?

There is no doubt, the Aleppo children and grown-ups suffer, and there is a simple way to stop their suffering: to remove the “terrorists” and to allow more moderate forces to join in the political process. But on this way, Assad and Russians will remain in control of the bulk of Syria.

The insurgency in Syria would have died out long time ago, if the Gulf states and the US did not pump billions of dollars, heaps of weapons and wagonloads of jobless fighters from nearby countries. It would be very sad for many people, but not a terrible disaster for Syrians. Sometimes, rebellions end with defeat. This is not end of the world.

The Irish Rising of 1916 ended in defeat, but Ireland is still there. Tamil Tigers failed to take over Sri Lanka. The suppression of the Confederacy in the American Civil War has been bloody and cruel. Atlanta was burned and its citizens expelled by force. One million dead: much more than in Syria, as mankind was much smaller in those days. One can imagine the European force landing on the American shore and relieving Atlanta in the name of human rights, preserving the Confederacy. But it did not happen. Civil wars have their own logic. A defeat of rebels is not the end of the nation.

As a young idealistic Israeli soldier, I planned to go to Nigeria and join the Biafra rebel army. I thought the Ibo tribe are “Jews of Africa” who had to be protected from a coming genocide. At the end, I was stuck in the Attrition War at the Suez Canal, and the Biafra war ended without my interference. In spite of apocalyptic predictions, Nigeria was reunited, and Ibo reintegrated.

The Syrian war also can end with rebels’ defeat. The government will assume its control, the Syrians will run the elections, and eventually come to a modicum of co-existence. Are you worried the elections under Bashar Assad won’t be fair? The US can loan them Mrs Debbie Wasserman-Schultz to oversee the elections. I am sure, chances of Assad won’t be better or worse than those of Mrs Clinton in the US elections.

The al-Qaeda forces (I keep using this name, for they forever change their official titles; it was Al Nusra, and Ahrar al-Sham, and probably Squirrels’ Union for Syrian Nuts, but they are basically the same good old Al Qaeda that bombed out New York on 9/11 and had been bombed in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya) are on their way to defeat. If the Americans are so keen on them, ship them home to the US on direct flights Aleppo-Washington, as this city seemingly is most pro-Al-Qaeda place beside of the caves of Bora Bora. Probably the Democratic Party will greet them and President Obama will grant them the US citizenship.

The only way to save al-Qaeda (short of the described above) is to start war with Russia. And this is actually the choice the US administration is about to make.

Provided the US can’t be serious planning to destroy mankind while saving Al Qaeda, we are forced to look for a better explanation. I do not want to dwell too much on “conspiratorial” reasoning of “for the sake of Israel”, or for gas pipeline.

ORDER IT NOW

These explanations are valid. We know that the US supported Qatari plan to build a pipeline from the Qatari gas field to Europe to undermine the Russian economy and European dependence on Russian gas. We know that Hillary Clinton promised to break up Syria “for the sake of Israel”, as she wrote in a wikileaked email.

And still, these are just rationalisations of the true thing. I’ll tell you the real reason.

Why the war? For the fun of it. American leaders appreciate brinkmanship, I was told by a very prominent American insider. This is a human quality. Young kids like to walk at the edge of the precipice. This is their way of proving they are better than their mates. Grown ups do it too, for the same reason.

Brinkmanship is the practice of causing a situation to become extremely dangerous in order to get the results that you want, says a too-rational dictionary, but in real life of elites, the reason (“in order to get the results that you want”) has been forgotten. It is pure art, brinkmanship for the sake of brinkmanship.

For quite a while, the US leaders competed over who can push the Russian bear further, who will take the world more close to the edge of the abyss. Why? Just because it is there, as Mallory said on climbing Everest. Perhaps, by its size, by its ostensible clumsiness (“giant on clay legs”), by its nearness, Russia wakes up such a suicidal desire in the hearts of powerful leaders, from Napoleon to Hitler.

Practical, quasi-rational reasons were always very weak, and usually included saving the Russian people from their cruel rulers, be it Judeo-Bolsheviks or the Tsardom of Knout (humanitarian intervention is not a new invention!). Now it is saving kids of Aleppo.

True, the kids of Aleppo could be saved by removal of fighters out of the city, but it does not score in the brinkmanship game.

The Russians understand the game. They are trying to save Syria, and their positions in Syria; previously they tried to protect their positions in their immediate vicinity by taking the Crimea in the wake of the West-arranged Kiev coup. Every time, they tried to be reasonable. They did not like what was done to them, but they lived with it.

Now they have finally come to the conclusion that the US will not stop pushing until the challenge has been met. It is surrender, or war. Even if they were to leave Syria (and they have no such intention), the Americans will find the next reason for pushing them.

This is why Putin published his Plutonium and Uranium decrees. These decrees symbolised the end of Gorbachev-Yeltsin era and undid the “victory in the Cold War” of the US over the USSR. In 1980s, the two superpowers of the time achieved the MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) military potential, but beginning from 1986, Gorbachev, and afterwards Yeltsin surrendered the Russian positions. Many missiles were dismantled, nuclear warheads were broken and shipped to the US to be used as a source of energy for American reactors.

The Russian scientists and experts complained that extremely expensive plutonium and enriched uranium were sold for peanuts, efficient and deadly missiles were broken and Russian ability to fight the enemy had been diminished. But the Russian government said that Russia has no enemies, the US is a friend, and the missiles and the warheads are not needed anymore.

A few years ago Putin began slowly to restore and modernise the nuclear arsenal. This was almost too late, as the American Dr Strangeloves called for a first nuclear strike upon a weak Russia. They said there will be no payback, as the Russian nuclear weaponry is too old and can be intercepted by the newest American anti-missile systems. Anyway, Russia observed the agreements made by Gorbachev and Yeltsin and duly shipped plutonium and enriched uranium to the West. These agreements made the US safe, and kept Russia vulnerable.

If the US would play its cards safely and fairly, this situation could last for a long time. Until now, the Russians meekly responded to the crescendo of NATO threats and accusations. But now, in course of one week, the western mainstream media accused the Russians of multiple war crimes, from downing the Malaysian liner in the Ukraine to bombing a humanitarian convoy in Syria.

The Russians are positive that these accusations are groundless. Less than 8% of Russian responders believe the Russians attacked the liner. They think the liner had been shot down by the Ukrainians who thought they were attacking Putin’s jet. As for the humanitarian convoy, the BBC video clearly shows traces of thermobaric ammo Hellfire, used by the US Predator drone. Such a drone has been observed at the place of the tragedy, they say.

Putin has been demonised as Milosevic and Saddam, compared to Hitler and even (oh, the horror!) Trump. The New York Times editorial described Russia as an outlaw state. This concerted push made an impact. You never know how far you can push until you push too far. The Russians were pushed too far.

They began to dismantle the system of agreements made after the Soviet collapse. So, in a family quarrel, the man being pushed and pronged by his hysterical spouse, lifts a pile of china plates and smashes them on the kitchen floor. Now nuclear war is quite likely, – unless the US leaders will come to their senses.

Russians aren’t worried about the forthcoming war. There is neither panic nor fear, just cool stoic acceptance of whatever comes. This week, some forty million people participated in a huge civil defence exercise. Shelters of Moscow and other cities have been aired and repaired. They do not want war, but if it comes, it will be met. The Russians have fought many wars against the West; they never started a war, but invariably fought to the finish.

An American attack on Syrian or Russian bases in Syria could be a starting point for the avalanche. I am truly amazed by the Russian spirits: they are considerably higher than they were in the days of Korean war, of Vietnam war or the Cuban crisis. Then, they were scared of war and ready for sacrifices to avoid MAD. Not anymore.

ORDER IT NOW

This readiness for the Armageddon is the most unexpected and scary feature I observed. It is even more unexpected, as the daily life of an average Russian has greatly improved. Russia probably never lived as good as she does now. They have much to lose; it is only the feeling of being cornered and unjustly so, that makes them to react in such a way.

The audacious demands of Putin: lift all sanctions, pay for damages caused by sanctions and counter-sanctions, remove your troops and tanks from the Baltic states, Poland, other late-joiner NATO states – show that the stakes are indeed high. Not only the US leaders can walk at the edge of the abyss: the Russians can show them the art of brinkmanship. After the utter humiliation of 1990s, Russians are not likely to turn off the road where two nuclear juggernauts are speeding towards each other.

There are some signs of the Americans coming to their senses. “The president has discussed in some details why military action against the Assad regime to try to address the situation in Aleppo is unlikely to accomplish the goals that many envisioned now in terms of reducing the violence there,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters Thursday.

And even the warmongers’ best friend The New York Times has published a call: Do Not Intervene In Syria.

So perhaps we shall live a bit longer.

The problem I have with IS's narrative is the notion of the unjustly provoked "Bear". (Russians apparently love their bears, but for Americans bears are Grizzlies. Fair to say the rest of the world leans more towards America's appreciation of bears as dangerous animals? I believe it is.)

The official approved narrative is that USSR suffered an internal collapse of confidence at the highest levels due to a combinations of strains, setbacks, etc. Concurrently Warsaw Pact nations, with Poland as the avante garde, rose in dissent. The showdown in Poland was one of the key setbacks. A set of short lived, increasingly more security state technocrats took turns running the CCCP. Gorbachev and Raisa arrived, a softer gentler Soviet Union is floated. Gorbachev announces Glasnost and Perestroika. Political restraints are relaxed while economic regime remain unchanged. Unlike China later, as China in mirror symmetric pivot relaxed the economic regime while maintaining and demonstrating state control (T. Sqr.) in con junction with floating the cute and endangered Panda Bear.

Why did Gorbachev, per some views, betray the Soviet Union and the Russian Revolution?

Subsequent to the ("well intentioned") blunderings of Gorby, a most banal finale in the form of a text book key stone cops "coup" by the hardline KGB and Red Army (!) is brought to a happy conclusion with human (teddy) bear Boris Yeltsin mounting a tank. Gorby is rescued from resort captivity and goes on to endure televised humiliation in Duma at the hand of the new leader, a Krushchev type of hardy Russian Peasant cum leader.

It is during the reign of Yeltsin that the West overtly set in motion a looting of the Soviet Union. Some to this date remain puzzled as to how some people who e.g. sold Rubber Duckies from his apartment ended up an "Oligarchs", with controlling interest over some of the world's most coveted commodities and technologies.

The key deviation from the official narrative is the fact of the documented connections between international finance interests, Western think tanks and Academia ("Harvard"), and Israel, during this period, coupled with the continued and strengthening Russia Israeli relationship.

To this "observer", it is clear that Russia and Israel have reached a secret strategic partnership.

When we look at the geopolitical map, a sort of natrual chunking into "polar" units of a multipolar world emerges. The natural resource rich Russia and resource poor Israel, are natural allies, even if there did not exist a connection at the very mythical levels of the respective nations' national story. Ashkenazi (Zionist) Jews and Russians are connected at the hip, whether they (or we) like it or not.

It is this observation that requires a reexamination of the official narrative's, specially from the Russian side, of the fact of Russian cooperation and coordination with the West of creating, accepting, approving, and participating, in arriving at this juncture in human history, and these problems.

A situation and problems that resulted in Russia setting in motion a propaganda campaign many years ago that slowly but surely ratcheted what to this point still remain local confrontations to open threats of Nuclear first strike by Russia (strongly implied by Putin as Russia's only choice).

Of course, life is most excellent for the minute fraction of population that occupies the uppermost regions of the global pyramid, and subterranean existence is likely not as most excellent. So given the assumption that these rising alarms about nuclear holocaust are the latest form of state sponsored terrorism -- yes, the authentic terrorism of our age -- that are to condition us to a rearranging of the chairs on the global deck.

Yes, we must never forget that while events of late 90s and early '00s were unfolding, every single nation on this earth went along with the official narrative. For example, Russia was instrumental in putting Iran in the position of having to suffer entirely unique punishments as a signatory to atomic energy and technology agreements. No vetos from the Russia Bear in those days, let us not forget.

And Iran is just one (key) element here, but the fact remains that the entirely bogus Iranian nuclear threat (and related NATO missiles in sensitive nations in defends from the same phantom threat) are "new developements" in the recent history that Russian fully participated in creating. Without this pretext, we -- the authentic "people" meaning those of us who are relegated at best to the participatory theatre of online peanut gallery -- would not be subjected to threats of world war 3 and nuclear war by the Russians and Israeli Russophiles

Yes, I do believe Mr. Shamir has captured the essence of the matter-pure brinkmanship, how absurd that really is. To be fair, there is also a large dose of underlying geopolitics and eschatological ideology as well. Namely, the rapacious US hegemon wants it all, the wealth of Asia, because in it’s reckless greed for unlimited wealth and power it has actually “bankrupted” itself and nothing can save it except by confiscating by force other countries financial and economic resources! Secondly, they are deluded by an exaggerated belief in themselves and their lawful natural place in running and controlling the affairs of the whole world based on the belief they have discovered the most perfect social and economic system devised by man and it is destined to spread throughout the world by virtue of American beneficence. Well in actual fact spreading American Values is done by force to the detriment of other countries with perfectly valid values and social organizations.
In fact, from my studied perspective the American System is an abomination , a perversion an unspeakable misdirection in the progress of civilization and many critical scholars have shown the reason for such an assessment. History will demonstrate it to be as such, perhaps there won’t be any future historians to make that case and the Cosmos is indifferent in the matter. Pure hubris, arrogance, self destruction and absurdity-yes that’s America, ALL WRONG!

You have forgotten that it is the Jews who are most desperate for this War. They want America to go and destroy Iran and they want Syria for themselves. That is what is really going on. I recommend an amazing article by the great investigator Wayne Madsen called "The Most Whispered Secret in the Middle East.
The Saudi "royal" family are crypto Jews. Yemen is the original home of the Hebrews or Jews.
And then read the wonderful book by Gerard Menuhin, the son of Yehudi Menuhin, the great violinist "TELL the TRUTH and SHAME the DEVIL."

The advent of nuclear weapons along with reliable delivery systems has been a godsend to the common man, who in the past was considered simply as expendable cannon fodder. Now, in any kind of dustup between nuclear powers, the rulers and elites are at risk also…..and they have a lot more to lose than a prole in an orange smock mixing paint at home depot for $10 an hour.. Where it gets really dicey and interesting is after the first use of a tactical nuke coupled with the PROMISE of a full thermonuclear bombardment in case of retaliation. My guess….left to the civilians, a tit-for-tat retaliation …..left to the generals, launch everything and head down into the command center bunkers for a lengthy stay. Judging by what happened in Syria, the civilians have literally lost control of the generals……especially the chief-of-staff of the USAF, Goldfein (that’s Scottish, isn’t it?). This is shades of the politicians trying to retrieve the nukes from SAC boss, Bombs Away LeMay.

For her, anything that’s convenient to stay on top is justified. She’ll indulge any kind of superstitious or dunderheaded supporters so long as they’re on her side, but if she feels that she’s personally threatened or has something to gain she’ll sacrifice them to save herself. The thing is, she’ll even do it to the elites.

Personally, I think they’ll pay dearly for their ignorance. Billions will be lost, world influence reduced to nothing. The great corporate titans will finally be humiliated, and Hillary will give speeches to Russian generals promising them she’s on their side if that’s what it takes. Those mentally haunted blackheads will not pay a cent themselves personally, in fact they will profit from the chaos they brought handsomely, that's why they're doing it. Unfortunately those footing the bills who are so brainwashed from cradle to grave with excessive flag saluting are supporting them willingly because they are the 'God-fearing' morally defunct evil 'inquisitors'. Until the Empire of Chaos is broken up, the world will not be free from mayhem.

Just want to get you guys thinking about this. The news reports always describe them as being carried out by the ***Iranian-supported*** Houtis. That's suspiciously close to an attack by Iran itself on the US. That, plus the volatility of this strange electoral season, makes me wonder who might be tossing this grenade.

Good article Shamir, until you repeated the BIG LIE about ‘al CIA Duh’ attacking the USA on 9/11.

9/11 was an Israeli masterminded FALSE FLAG, aided by American traitors in the WH, the Pentagon, the CIA, FBI and NSA.

    https://wikispooks.com/wiki/9-11/Israel_did_it

If there were any doubt that the 9/11 attack was a False Flag, set off by American traitors in the WH, the Pentagon, the CIA, FBI and CIA, along with help from at least one of our ‘allies,’ the fact that the USA is giving political backing, weapons and air support in Syria to Fatah al Sham, which was al Nusra, which had been al Qaeda in Syria, those doubts should be put to rest.

Add in these phony ‘al CIA Duh’ propaganda videos, designed to get Americans enraged about some US/Israel/Saudi Arabia backed terrorist group, the War of Terror is just an excuse to wipe Israel’s ‘existential’ enemies off the map, steal resources and turn the USA into a jack-boot run police state.

BTW: Israel Shamir who gave birth and nourished al-Qaeda? Not Muslims but the United States, Israel and USSR.

“The truth is there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al-Qaeda. And any informed intelligence officer knows this. But, there is propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an identified entity representing the ‘devil’ only in order to drive TV watchers to accept a unified international leadership for a war against terrorism. The country behind this propaganda is the US….” Former British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook.

“Al-Qaeda itself doesn’t exist, except in the fevered imagination of neocon and Likudnicks (Israeli Jew fascists), some of whom, I suspect, it’s a myth, but find it extremely useful as a bogeyman to spook the public and the politicians to acquiesce in otherwise unacceptable policy initiatives at home and abroad….. R. T. Naylor, June 21, 2003.

“The myth of Al-Qaeda is built on a expansive foundations of many half-truths and hidden facts. It is a CIA creation. It was shaped by the agency to serve as a substitute ‘enemy’ for America, replacing the Soviets whom the Islamist forces had driven from Afghanistan. Unknown American officials, at an indeterminate point in time, made the decision to fabricate the tale of mythical world-wide network of Islamist terrorists from the exploits of Afghan Mujahideen. The CIA already had their network of Islamic militants ‘freedom-fighters’, all that needed was a few scattered terrorist attacks against US targets and a credible heroic figurehead, to serve as the ‘great leader’….. Peter Chamberlin, January 5, 2010.

Interesting, what the western mainstream media is affraid to report is that most of thes Al-Qaeda cell have been working for Israeli Mossad. For example, in 2000 Yemeni government accused Israel Al-Qaeda behind the bombing of USS Cole. In 2002, PA captured a Al-Qaeda cell working for Mossad. The Adam Yahiye Gadahan, who have been representing Al-Qaeda tape – is a Mossad agent. Mumbai terrorist attacks in 2008 were also engineered by Mossad with the help of CIA and RAW. The latest one is the Nigerian underwear terrorist and the Green Revolution protests in Iran.

Some of the other Israel’s famous False-Flag operations include attack on USS Liberty, assassination of prsident Joh Kennedy, Pan-Am 103 bombing, 9-11, London 7/7 bombing, Bali bombing, Jordan bombing, Madris train bombing, Paradise Mombassa Hotel bombing, etc. etc.

According to tradition, the foundation for the Great Synagogue in Aleppo was constructed by King David’s General, Joab ben Zeruiah, (circa 950 BCE), after his conquest of the city. 12. The Irish Rising of 1916 ended in defeat, but Ireland is still there.

Well, not exactly. While initial uprising was quickly put down, the Irish–most of them, at any rate–succeeded in winning independence six years later, in 1922.

I am truly amazed by the Russian spirits: they are considerably higher than they were in the days of Korean war, of Vietnam war or the Cuban crisis. Then, they were scared of war and ready for sacrifices to avoid MAD. Not anymore.

That’s not hard to explain. Back in the 50s and 60s, the horrors of The Great Patriotic War were still fresh in their minds. But we’re now going on 2 generations of Russians who have grown up completely without rubble.

As a child during the Cuban Missile Crisis I did not appreciate being held hostage by the so-called leadership class. They want Castro, let them have him; we don’t want missiles there then don’t do the same thing and have them in Turkey to threaten others. What gives these people the right to hold me and everyone else hostage to their ambitions? We are not their property to dispose of as they please. It’s disconcerting to realize that we and everyone we know are considered expendable by these supposed leaders. They’ve been dragging us from one crisis to another without letup; this needs to stop before they drag us all down in flames.

  17. There is a belief underlying this article that is totally false.

It is that the USA is in control of its own foreign policy. Anybody who believes this better either read or re-read John Mearsheimer’s and Stephen Walt’s book about the forces behind our various forays into Iraq starting probably with George H. W. Bush’s original invasion in 1991.

Israel wants the current government in Syria destroyed, just as it did the governments of Iraq and Libya and Afghanistan previously. The US, being a mere vassal state of Israel, cannot challenge this demand anymore than a vassal state of the Roman Empire could seriously challenge the demands of the central government in ancient Rome without the potential of disastrous consequences. The US now exists only as Israel’s enforcer.

The philosophical architect of all this Israeli hegemony is curiously unknown. Read about him here:
Google: “Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi” to see what is planned for our own future.

Then go on Lasha Darkmoon’s website to find a detailed, two part explanation of what this all means to the rest of us with the details that the highly sanitized Wikipedia entry on this fellow omits.

the bear just turned towards the retarded pokers and bared it's fangs. if putin finally stand his ground, this might finally make the super retards at DC see something.

– Israel Shamir

The problem I have with IS’s narrative is the notion of the unjustly provoked “Bear”. (Russians apparently love their bears, but for Americans bears are Grizzlies. Fair to say the rest of the world leans more towards America’s appreciation of bears as dangerous animals?

Subsequent to the (“well intentioned”) blunderings of Gorby, a most banal finale in the form of a text book key stone cops “coup” by the hardline KGB and Red Army (!) is brought to a happy conclusion with human (teddy) bear Boris Yeltsin mounting a tank.

Some to this date remain puzzled as to how some people who e.g. sold Rubber Duckies from his apartment ended up an “Oligarchs”, with controlling interest over some of the world’s most coveted commodities and technologies.

The key deviation from the official narrative is the fact of the documented connections between international finance interests, Western think tanks and Academia (“Harvard”), and Israel, during this period, coupled with the continued and strengthening Russia Israeli relationship.

To this “observer”, it is clear that Russia and Israel have reached a secret strategic partnership.

When we look at the geopolitical map, a sort of natrual chunking into “polar” units of a multipolar world emerges. The natural resource rich Russia and resource poor Israel, are natural allies, even if there did not exist a connection at the very mythical levels of the respective nations’ national story. Ashkenazi (Zionist) Jews and Russians are connected at the hip, whether they (or we) like it or not.

It is this observation that requires a reexamination of the official narrative’s, specially from the Russian side, of the fact of Russian cooperation and coordination with the West of creating, accepting, approving, and participating, in arriving at this juncture in human history, and these problems.

A situation and problems that resulted in Russia setting in motion a propaganda campaign many years ago that slowly but surely ratcheted what to this point still remain local confrontations to open threats of Nuclear first strike by Russia (strongly implied by Putin as Russia’s only choice).

Of course, life is most excellent for the minute fraction of population that occupies the uppermost regions of the global pyramid, and subterranean existence is likely not as most excellent. So given the assumption that these rising alarms about nuclear holocaust are the latest form of state sponsored terrorism — yes, the authentic terrorism of our age — that are to condition us to a rearranging of the chairs on the global deck.

Yes, we must never forget that while events of late 90s and early ’00s were unfolding, every single nation on this earth went along with the official narrative. For example, Russia was instrumental in putting Iran in the position of having to suffer entirely unique punishments as a signatory to atomic energy and technology agreements. No vetos from the Russia Bear in those days, let us not forget.

And Iran is just one (key) element here, but the fact remains that the entirely bogus Iranian nuclear threat (and related NATO missiles in sensitive nations in defends from the same phantom threat) are “new developements” in the recent history that Russian fully participated in creating. Without this pretext, we — the authentic “people” meaning those of us who are relegated at best to the participatory theatre of online peanut gallery — would not be subjected to threats of world war 3 and nuclear war by the Russians and Israeli Russophiles

Bro, you make some very interesting points. It may just be that Russia (in those earlier years) didn't think much of keeping up its alliances because it had its own worries and because it assumed its allies would simply be around (aka. taking them for granted). When a few of them started falling, the Russian leadership may have realigned to stop the bleeding, as it were. That's my take on one possibility, but still, solid points.

Also, yeah, I may not have liked Yeltsin's policies much, but man - that guy totally looked like a huggable human teddy bear!

Yeltsin's biggest economic mistake was NOT allowing foreigners to participate in privatization. He had to sell the assets to people with no money. So his team invented banks out of thin air to generate money. Keeping out foreigners kept out investment and expertise. Fascists always get this wrong.

"...it is clear that Russia and Israel have reached a secret strategic partnership."
Could you provide any facts in support of the proclaimed clarity of your statement?
The bombing of 30 western advisors for Al-Qaeda (among the advisors were Israelis) by Syrian/Russian aviation after the US bombing of 62 SA servicemen (most likely, with some Russian advisors among them) does not suggest at all any partnership. Moreover, Israel wants to annex a big piece of Syria and the ongoing Russian actions in Syria have been greatly complicating this wish (do you believe that if Israel' annexes the Golan Heights this would be accompanied by a plebiscite, btw?) Mind that the Russian presence in Syria is no small thing for the Russian Federation; this is a dangerous and expensive endeavor that answers the existential threat to Russian citizens from radical Islam (nurtured strategically by deciders of the US, EU, and Golfies).
There are also very visible and loud signs of a very hostile attitude by the US government towards RF. Have you heard the nosy wailing and squealing from the leading ziocons that call Russia names? It would be extremely naive to think that this highly focused attack by the presstituting MSM and by various Israel-firsters in high places could have happened without a cue from the Masters of the Lobby and US Congress. As the big shots in the US government like to emphasize, "there is no daylight between the US and Israel."

Not so sure it's about brinksmanship. I think the elites have simply lost touch with reality. The wife pushing the husband too far is the best analogy. They don't understand the force they're dealing with. Here in the US, it's easy to think that everyone agrees with our WEIRD agenda, buy having lived abroad in a non-Western country for a couple years I know that 80% of the world is on an entirely different page.

The problem is that most well-off Americans have no idea this is the case. They live in a bubble. To me, Hillary Clinton is most like dowager empress Cixi, who started the Boxer Rebellion and got thousands of her subjects slaughtered by machine guns. You see, the Boxers thought that they had magical powers that could stop bullets. Cixi either agreed with them or didn't care whether they were wrong. Hillary is the same. For her, anything that's convenient to stay on top is justified. She'll indulge any kind of superstitious or dunderheaded supporters so long as they're on her side, but if she feels that she's personally threatened or has something to gain she'll sacrifice them to save herself. The thing is, she'll even do it to the elites.

Personally, I think they'll pay dearly for their ignorance. Billions will be lost, world influence reduced to nothing. The great corporate titans will finally be humiliated, and Hillary will give speeches to Russian generals promising them she's on their side if that's what it takes. This is when the next American revolution will happen.

Hillary is the same. For her, anything that’s convenient to stay on top is justified.

Stop that Hillary bashing – she’s just like Honest Abe – ask her!

Israel has been trading in military technology with Russia. Russians, per one account I've read, have historically lagged in miniaturization. Israel also has a track record of transferring sensitive American technology to strategic enemies such as China.

Israel also is being deeply integrated into American military. (http://www.presstv.com/Detail/2016/07/29/477454/Israel-US-Noble-Shirley-Negev-David-Sling)

Friend or foe? The wrong time to ask this question is during a hot war.

    https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e6/Unified_Combatant_Commands_map.png

Syria & Ukraine together provide a relatively compact stress area on the fault line between USEUCOM and USCENTOM.

what might russia/putin gain out of this?

Russia and Israel will control the effective 'terminal' corridor of energy resources flowing outside of the region, excluding the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. Iran, having been dragged into the quagmire of Syria, and coming to the realization that its "ally" Syria is now a protectrate of Russia, will be forced into a position of painful compromises. So Russia will have indirect control over the Persian Gulf energy flows, as well.

(How goes it in energy hungry China? EU?)

'Someone' in US apparently gave one of those commands that motivates unanimous fronts from MSM and congress and we got the 9/11 and KSA lawsuit law. So basically, the "Empire" is being denuded of partners and strategic assets left and right.

Dear reader, need I remind you of who have been the architects of the past 20 years of 'manifest stupidity' by the "lone superpower"?

Yet the argument: “It is pure art, brinkmanship for the sake of brinkmanship.” even though brilliant is short of a far more sinister goal: The ambition to remove sovereign states in order to achieve the status of the only hyperpower on earth, feared and obeyed by all, something like the world they enjoyed during the Yeltsin years. It is the neocon pursuit of the full spectrum dominance, the “American Century”. And the secret slogan is Russia Delenda Est! Like the Romans as they looked on Carthage at the end of the Second Punic War, the present US Empire cannot tolerate even a weakened Russia, so their goal should be its destruction and conquest. Settling accounts with China would come later, as a result of the first triumph…
Goya wrote as he could see the end of the Napoleonic Empire: The slumber of reason creates monsters. And this has been the actual US abyss: its blindness and sheer ignorance. Russia is far too much, and now they’d rather go back, far from the brink and far from their delusions…

US invaded Iraq and Afghanistan to surround Iran.

Iraq is on the west side of Iran and Afghanistan is on the east side of Iran.

Close proximity to Iran is necessary to shoot down Iranian missiles launched at Israel in their boost phase.

Boost phase is the most vulnerable time of a Iranian missile's flight to US countermeasures.

Yet the argument: "It is pure art, brinkmanship for the sake of brinkmanship." even though brilliant is short of a far more sinister goal: The ambition to remove sovereign states in order to achieve the status of the only hyperpower on earth, feared and obeyed by all, something like the world they enjoyed during the Yeltsin years. It is the neocon pursuit of the full spectrum dominance, the "American Century". And the secret slogan is Russia Delenda Est! Like the Romans as they looked on Carthage at the end of the Second Punic War, the present US Empire cannot tolerate even a weakened Russia, so their goal should be its destruction and conquest. Settling accounts with China would come later, as a result of the first triumph...
Goya wrote as he could see the end of the Napoleonic Empire: The slumber of reason creates monsters. And this has been the actual US abyss: its blindness and sheer ignorance. Russia is far too much, and now they'd rather go back, far from the brink and far from their delusions...

Well said, Enrique, but I suspect that the accepted version of Goya’s warning about the sueño is “the dream ” in English.

Bingo. Entirely true -- and purely reflective of human nature at its most basic configuration.

There is, however, an interesting component: the rich hold such a huge proportion of global wealth that debt, although unavoidable because those rich deny access to resources necessary for existence, becomes increasingly difficult to collect. It's somewhat like the situation for an individual who has achieved total credit "unworthiness" -- has no money, no means of getting any, and can't borrow it. So much of global wealth is held by the elites that economic activity must grind to a halt -- no money and no way to get it. The debt machine that has for so many years funneled wealth to the rich falls below a break-even point.

hmm, that is a very interesting perspective. what israel wants in this theory is obvious, resources. what might russia/putin gain out of this? jewish rubber ducky oligarchs raided russia for 10+ years, turn countless female of an entire generation into sex workers just to survive.

what do russia gain from this alliance, new narrative? becoming a super power again by waving the nukes card like putin is doing now? why would russia have to do this with israel? putin can do this at anytime.

- Israel Shamir

Do Not Intervene In Syria. - The warmongers’ best friend

the bear just turned towards the retarded pokers and bared it’s fangs. if putin finally stand his ground, this might finally make the super retards at DC see something. - Astuteobservor II

Yeltsin’s biggest economic mistake was NOT allowing foreigners to participate in privatization. He had to sell the assets to people with no money. So his team invented banks out of thin air to generate money. Keeping out foreigners kept out investment and expertise. Fascists always get this wrong.

"Yeltsin’s biggest economic mistake was NOT allowing foreigners to participate in privatization."
This is a clear lament of the Filth Column in Russia. The usual "West knows better." This belief was totally compromised by the facts on the ground produced by western advisors/profiteers.
The Russian "opposition" (and their western sponsors) have been mourning Boris Nemtsov (who managed to help himself handsomely with his "community organizer" work ) who had zero chance to become an influential statesman in Russia. His daughter is currently busy with spewing slander about Russian Federation (from Moscow!) for the attentive public at Atlantic Council and such. For those who still believe the fairy tales of "inherent Russian anti-semitism" here is a small morsel of information to ponder: "...the seven oligarchs who controlled 50% of Russia's economy during the 1990s, six were Jewish: Berezovsky, Vladimir Guzinsky, Alexander Smolensky, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Mikhail Friedman." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikhail_Fridman https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyotr_Aven
It seems that putting an end to the looting of Russian resources was one of the reasons why Masha Gessen & Co could not help but producing toxic Russophobic propaganda. (Masha Gessen is a contributing opinion writer for The International New York Time, the widely acknowledged presstitute center, see below). The State Dept. has been very disappointed by this development - protection of Russian resources for the benefits of the citizens of Russian Federation - as well.

  31. “We know that the US supported Qatari plan to build a pipeline from the Qatari gas field to Europe to undermine the Russian economy and European dependence on Russian gas”

Maybe the Qataris just wanted to sell gas (they have rather a lot) and the Europeans wanted to buy it (reduces carbon emissions and all that)? That said, I think you exaggerate US influence and underestimate the Saudis and Qataris. They have their own axes to grind and a willingness to use them. See Yemen and Libya. This is not an Arab dawn. It is a Soviet twilight and the religious politicians have mostly removed the secular even if they haven’t won themselves. Nothing American about that. The US may be riding the tiger but it didn’t create the beast and its not a riding an obedient horse.

Also, the Syrian government did commit massacres of Sunnis over the decades. They spent a long time priming the pump. They may be the best force for stability (even tolerance) but they are not good guys, just a front runner for least bad, along with the Kurds and the almost invisible rebels.

"Also, the Syrian government did commit massacres of Sunnis over the decades."

The US massacred: Native Americans, enslaved Africans, Filipinos, Vietnamese, Guatemalans, Nicaraguans, Salvadorans, US Confederate rebels, and many many others; the US abetted oppression, coups de etat, slaughter, and torture in countries beyond count across the planet: Brazil, Chile, Indonesia, Angola, South Africa, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Ukraine, now Syria, Palestine of course, Egypt, now Yemen, Panama, Grenada, others, many others.

When the Confederate South revolted against the North a slaughter ensued. Surprise! surprise! This BS about Assad being a bad guy is total Kool-Aid. Revolt leads to civil war which, being war, involves "massacres". That's what war is, one giant massacre fest. When Sunnis revolt in Syria, they are slaughtered until they get the message, which is: if you take up arms against the govt you will be slaughtered without mercy. This is reality. This is the real world. The idea that when "we" slaughter it it a humanitarian act, and when "they" slaughter back its terrorism or "genocide", is the criminal insanity of tribal "exceptionalism".

Hafez al Assad put down the Hama rebellion of 1982 by surrounding the rebel area and subjecting it to a relentless artillery bombardment until 20,000 were dead and the rebels -- Muslim Brotherhood Islamists -- surrendered. Now the Neocon-subverted US, acting as Israel's proxy, has fomented a war of aggression against Syria, and pawned it off as a "legitimate" civil war. In their arrogance, HRC and her Neocon accomplices in the State Dept thought they could duplicate their "success" in Libya and send Assad packing. But they were wrong, and now instead of a few thousand dead rebels and peace restored, we are approaching half-a-million dead, millions fleeing for their lives, and a Radical Islamic Terrorist cancer funded, armed, and unleashed to rampage across the planet.

And if that isn't bad enough, we're about to suffer the election to the Presidency of the World's-Greatest-Death-Machine the enthusiastic "point-person and executor" of these horrors, a person who destroys entire countries, who believes she can repeat in Syria her "no-fly-zone success" in Libya, who arms terrorist monsters, who is so arrogant that she thinks she can face down nuclear-armed Russia, and a person of such frustrated ambition and depravity that she chortled in delight at the sodomized-by-bayonet execution of the legitimate head of state of Libya, a country she transformed from stability and prosperity to a death zone of savagery and barbarism. She bestowed upon them the great American blessing: "freedom and democracy"!

War is a business horrific beyond words. Under HRC, somewhere on the planet someone is likely to "feel the burn", the nuclear burn, pray that it isn't someone you care about.

There is a belief underlying this article that is totally false.

It is that the USA is in control of its own foreign policy. Anybody who believes this better either read or re-read John Mearsheimer's and Stephen Walt's book about the forces behind our various forays into Iraq starting probably with George H. W. Bush's original invasion in 1991.

The US now exists only as Israel's enforcer.

The philosophical architect of all this Israeli hegemony is curiously unknown. Read about him here:
Google: "Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi" to see what is planned for our own future.

Then go on Lasha Darkmoon's website to find a detailed, two part explanation of what this all means to the rest of us with the details that the highly sanitized Wikipedia entry on this fellow omits.

The Saudis are an independent actor in this as well. They want secular government in Syria removed.

Well, not exactly. While initial uprising was quickly put down, the Irish--most of them, at any rate--succeeded in winning independence six years later, in 1922.

I am truly amazed by the Russian spirits: they are considerably higher than they were in the days of Korean war, of Vietnam war or the Cuban crisis. Then, they were scared of war and ready for sacrifices to avoid MAD. Not anymore.

That's not hard to explain. Back in the 50s and 60s, the horrors of The Great Patriotic War were still fresh in their minds. But we're now going on 2 generations of Russians who have grown up completely without rubble.

Yes, I do believe Mr. Shamir has captured the essence of the matter-pure brinkmanship, how absurd that really is. To be fair, there is also a large dose of underlying geopolitics and eschatological ideology as well. Namely, the rapacious US hegemon wants it all, the wealth of Asia, because in it's reckless greed for unlimited wealth and power it has actually "bankrupted" itself and nothing can save it except by confiscating by force other countries financial and economic resources!
History will demonstrate it to be as such, perhaps there won't be any future historians to make that case and the Cosmos is indifferent in the matter. Pure hubris, arrogance, self destruction and absurdity-yes that's America, ALL WRONG!

You have forgotten that it is the Jews who are most desperate for this War. They want America to go and destroy Iran and they want Syria for themselves. That is what is really going on. I recommend an amazing article by the great investigator Wayne Madsen called “The Most Whispered Secret in the Middle East.
The Saudi “royal” family are crypto Jews. Yemen is the original home of the Hebrews or Jews.
And then read the wonderful book by Gerard Menuhin, the son of Yehudi Menuhin, the great violinist “TELL the TRUTH and SHAME the DEVIL.”
If you likethe Truth, don’t miss that book.

Those mentally haunted blackheads will not pay a cent themselves personally, in fact they will profit from the chaos they brought handsomely, that’s why they’re doing it. Unfortunately those footing the bills who are so brainwashed from cradle to grave with excessive flag saluting are supporting them willingly because they are the ‘God-fearing’ morally defunct evil ‘inquisitors’. Until the Empire of Chaos is broken up, the world will not be free from mayhem.

Yeltsin's biggest economic mistake was NOT allowing foreigners to participate in privatization. He had to sell the assets to people with no money. So his team invented banks out of thin air to generate money. Keeping out foreigners kept out investment and expertise. Fascists always get this wrong.

“NOT allowing foreigners to participate in privatization.”

  52. Browder bought up the vouchers/privatized companies after they were issued. He was a financial trader not an industrial investor. Read his book. (which is interesting for what is left out).

Russian male life expectancy collapsed in part because the people dying were war babies, weakened by the war. Stress in the womb and early childhood increases male mortality (Dutch hunger winter showed this too). Recession never helps of course. The largest part of the collapse in birth rate was because there were fewer young women, again an echo of the war. SFAIR the peak in divorces and abortions (as measures of social stress) was after the 1998 default by which time Putin was already assuming power. That devaluation did kick the Russian economy into a sluggish form of life.

Yeltsin also maintained spending on aircraft development and submarines. He was a lot less stupid/walked over than most commentators wish to say. It suits all sides now playing to portray him as a drunk fool.

- Israel Shamir

Do Not Intervene In Syria. - The warmongers’ best friend

the bear just turned towards the retarded pokers and bared it’s fangs. if putin finally stand his ground, this might finally make the super retards at DC see something. - Astuteobservor II

“…it is clear that Russia and Israel have reached a secret strategic partnership.”
Moreover, Israel wants to annex a big piece of Syria and the ongoing Russian actions in Syria have been greatly complicating this wish (do you believe that if Israel’ annexes the Golan Heights this would be accompanied by a plebiscite, btw?) Mind that the Russian presence in Syria is no small thing for the Russian Federation; this is a dangerous and expensive endeavor that answers the existential threat to Russian citizens from radical Islam (nurtured strategically by deciders of the US, EU, and Golfies).
As the big shots in the US government like to emphasize, “there is no daylight between the US and Israel.”

Gosh, looks like some people are going to die.

So his team invented banks out of thin air to generate money. Keeping out foreigners kept out investment and expertise. Fascists always get this wrong.

“Yeltsin’s biggest economic mistake was NOT allowing foreigners to participate in privatization.”
This is a clear lament of the Filth Column in Russia. The usual “West knows better.” This belief was totally compromised by the facts on the ground produced by western advisors/profiteers.
The Russian “opposition” (and their western sponsors) have been mourning Boris Nemtsov (who managed to help himself handsomely with his “community organizer” work ) who had zero chance to become an influential statesman in Russia. His daughter is currently busy with spewing slander about Russian Federation (from Moscow!) for the attentive public at Atlantic Council and such. For those who still believe the fairy tales of “inherent Russian anti-semitism” here is a small morsel of information to ponder: “…the seven oligarchs who controlled 50% of Russia’s economy during the 1990s, six were Jewish: Berezovsky, Vladimir Guzinsky, Alexander Smolensky, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Mikhail Friedman.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikhail_Fridman https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyotr_Aven
It seems that putting an end to the looting of Russian resources was one of the reasons why Masha Gessen & Co could not help but producing toxic Russophobic propaganda. (Masha Gessen is a contributing opinion writer for The International New York Time, the widely acknowledged presstitute center, see below). The State Dept. has been very disappointed by this development – protection of Russian resources for the benefits of the citizens of Russian Federation – as well.

That is one of the reasons.

The other is that Ms. Gessen is a lesbian/homosexual, "....not that there is anything wrong with it....Nooooo, not at all...", as Seinfeld and George used to say.

The Homosexual lobby is apoplectic that Russian government (Putin) and Russian people do not find it appropriate to allow proselytizing of 'alternative lifestyles' to highly impressionable children of RF.

And, No: there are no laws on the books in RF against private homosexual behaviour.

    Hey StoneHands,

    What about…

    Pretty much…

    But in the end…

    Pretty much…

Fight the good fight though; educate your families and raise your children to be upright and moral. Hopefully enough cogs that won’t fit, will gum up the works.

By the way, regarding the bankers – Christianity was with us for centuries on the prohibition on usury and interest – it was considered a manifest evil practically universally by Christian theologians (example, http://oll.libertyfund.org/pages/aquinas-on-usury) until about a few hundred years ago. You guys left us as the only ones holding the bag on that one – what’s up with that? A return to the original position would be much, much appreciated and of benefit to everyone.

    Peace.

Do not think that Obama will start a war for the next president.

But the Israelis will if they can – no matter who wins - look for a December false flag operation coming out of Israel that will put the new president under the gun.

Regarding the two recent missile attacks against the US destroyer off the coast of Yemen: could they have been a false flag?

Just want to get you guys thinking about this. The news reports always describe them as being carried out by the ***Iranian-supported*** Houtis. That’s suspiciously close to an attack by Iran itself on the US. That, plus the volatility of this strange electoral season, makes me wonder who might be tossing this grenade.

Sometimes things are just what they appear to be. Sometimes they are not.

    Cui bono?

"We know that the US supported Qatari plan to build a pipeline from the Qatari gas field to Europe to undermine the Russian economy and European dependence on Russian gas"

It is a Soviet twilight and the religious politicians have mostly removed the secular even if they haven't won themselves. Nothing American about that. The US may be riding the tiger but it didn't create the beast and its not a riding an obedient horse.

Also, the Syrian government did commit massacres of Sunnis over the decades. They spent a long time priming the pump. They may be the best force for stability (even tolerance) but they are not good guys, just a front runner for least bad, along with the Kurds and the almost invisible rebels.

“Also, the Syrian government did commit massacres of Sunnis over the decades.”

Revolt leads to civil war which, being war, involves “massacres”. That’s what war is, one giant massacre fest. When Sunnis revolt in Syria, they are slaughtered until they get the message, which is: if you take up arms against the govt you will be slaughtered without mercy. This is reality. This is the real world. The idea that when “we” slaughter it it a humanitarian act, and when “they” slaughter back its terrorism or “genocide”, is the criminal insanity of tribal “exceptionalism”.

Hafez al Assad put down the Hama rebellion of 1982 by surrounding the rebel area and subjecting it to a relentless artillery bombardment until 20,000 were dead and the rebels — Muslim Brotherhood Islamists — surrendered. Now the Neocon-subverted US, acting as Israel’s proxy, has fomented a war of aggression against Syria, and pawned it off as a “legitimate” civil war. In their arrogance, HRC and her Neocon accomplices in the State Dept thought they could duplicate their “success” in Libya and send Assad packing. But they were wrong, and now instead of a few thousand dead rebels and peace restored, we are approaching half-a-million dead, millions fleeing for their lives, and a Radical Islamic Terrorist cancer funded, armed, and unleashed to rampage across the planet.

And if that isn’t bad enough, we’re about to suffer the election to the Presidency of the World’s-Greatest-Death-Machine the enthusiastic “point-person and executor” of these horrors, a person who destroys entire countries, who believes she can repeat in Syria her “no-fly-zone success” in Libya, who arms terrorist monsters, who is so arrogant that she thinks she can face down nuclear-armed Russia, and a person of such frustrated ambition and depravity that she chortled in delight at the sodomized-by-bayonet execution of the legitimate head of state of Libya, a country she transformed from stability and prosperity to a death zone of savagery and barbarism. She bestowed upon them the great American blessing: “freedom and democracy”!

War is a business horrific beyond words. Under HRC, somewhere on the planet someone is likely to “feel the burn”, the nuclear burn, pray that it isn’t someone you care about.

This is a Nuremberg material: the war of aggression against a sovereign state.
Israel fights for its survival (and for the promised biblical Glory) by causing (via ziocons) a massive slaughter of humans - in the millions - in the neighboring states. Plus there is ongoing destruction of the precious cultural heritage in Iraq, Libya, and Syria, which belongs to the humankind at large.
There is no future for the state of Israel anymore; there is no moral ground for the existence of this state. Today, Israel stands with ISIS/Al Qaeda in its fight for Eretz Israel. If the WWIII were to begin in Syria/Ukraine, the beginning would be to a large degree a result of the intrigues by Israelis and by Israel-firsters in the US and EU.

This is a great op-ed written by Israel Shamir, who binds realism with irony to a shockingly healthy effect! I enjoyed particularly the line "Yes, my dear readers! Uncle Sam invaded Afghanistan in order to punish al Qaeda, and now he started the World War to save al Qaeda."!

Yes, my dear readers! Uncle Sam invaded Afghanistan in order to punish al Qaeda, and now he started the World War to save al Qaeda.”!

US invaded Iraq and Afghanistan to surround Iran.

Iraq is on the west side of Iran and Afghanistan is on the east side of Iran.

Close proximity to Iran is necessary to shoot down Iranian missiles launched at Israel in their boost phase.

Boost phase is the most vulnerable time of a Iranian missile’s flight to US countermeasures.

{[He destroyed the Soviet Union in order to preserve the Russian Federation]
    Bizarre nonsense.}

    Bizarre nonsense is right.
SU was dismantled by Gorbachev, not Yeltsin.
Yeltsin was elected first president of Russian Federation _after_ dissolution of SU.

And ' a more genuinely Liberal President' is a Neocon code-word for a doormat for the reptiles. A ' Liberal President' is one who allows the reptiles to control his country and do what he is told for the benefit of the Neocon imperialists and looters. Like Yelstin, for example. $100s of billions of Russia's national wealth was looted and taken to the West during Yeltsin. The looters almost succeeded in taking political control also, in addition to economic control, until Russian patriot Putin 'convinced' the Yelstin-enabled looters like Khodorkovsky, Berezovsky, et. al. to behave, or else.

    You don’t know a thing.
