TOP NEWS: Feeling Pinch of Oil Collapse, Some Russians Take to Streets, reported The New York Times. Indeed, at that time thousands of Russians were queuing in Central Moscow. The enormous line snaked around in the park, despite frost and snow. People stood three and four hours, braving winter weather: old ladies in furs and gentlemen in greatcoats, young people in anoraks, all sort of Russians from Moscow and from provinces. Do you think they were queueing for a fire sale to buy discount products or to change their depreciating roubles for dollars or whatever these desperate people were supposed to desire? Nope. This was the queue for the retrospective exhibition of Valentin Serov’s paintings, a Russian fin-de-siècle painter, in the New Tretyakov Gallery.

Valentin Serov (1865-1911) is a Russian equivalent of Edgar Degas or Edouard Manet or perhaps of James McNeill Whistler, hardly the names to steer Western masses from midwinter slumber. His art is figurative, embedded in Russian classical tradition yet aware of new trends of his time – he was an Art Nouveau founder – but still impeccably humane. Serov is a very Russian painter of the kind despised by the modern conceptual connoisseurs of art who prefer a Warhol’s tin, a Hirst’s shark or a Pussy Riot’s scream. The queue was not a fruit of a successful spin campaign – this was quite a low profile operation. Rather, it was a manifestation of the unpredictable Russian revolt against the Brave New World, on a par with Russians’ rejection of the gender politics, their open celebration of their Christian religiosity and their disapproval of migration, legal and illegal.

They can’t understand why the Germans invite Syrians, why the US judge sentences a woman to years of jail for sex with 17-year old boy, why officials have to officiate at gay marriages, why people must hide their crosses. The whole modern setup of the West annoys them as much as it perhaps annoys you.

En masse, Russians are traditional in their attitudes; and their country drifts further away from the Atlantic consensus under the sanctions. The pro-Western Russians, a.k.a. “liberals” (the term is quite misleading as they admire Pinochet and Thatcher, NATO and Israel) are flabbergasted by their fellow countrymen’s backward preferences. For them, Serov is a low-brow painter for rednecks; Tretyakov Gallery is too demotic. The Moscow Jewish Museum of Tolerance is their preferred exhibition venue. In a typical response, a prominent “liberal” artist and journalist Xenia Larina wrote that the only line she liked was the one for the just opened McDonald’s in Moscow 1990 “as this symbolised our admittance to the civilised world”, in her words. Putin visited the retrospective, thus sealing its fate in the “liberals” eyes, as he can’t do anything right in their view. “This is the 86% queueing,” they say, referring to the high rating of the president.

Probably this is not the way the Russians were supposed to take to the streets, according to The New York Times, but they are unpredictable. It is not that they do not feel the pinch of oil prices falling and rouble going down. They do, and they complain about prices of vegetables, but meanwhile they take it in their stride.

Jews back to Russia?

One of the best and most famous paintings of Valentin Serov did not make it to the retrospective. The Abduction of Europa has been abducted and carried away to Europe. For decades, it was presented in the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, but in roaring Nineties, a Jewish oligarch Vyacheslav Moshe Kantor managed to get his hands on it and carry it abroad. This was a small thing for him: he managed to get hold of a sizeable bit of Russian industry, as well. Now, he lives in Switzerland and fights the anti-Semitism(!) he so much increased. He has even his own European Jewish Congress – such grand-names-but-few-members bodies are established by every self-respected Jewish oligarch.

He did not return the painting, nor did he loan it to the exhibition to be shown, but he himself made his way to Moscow, to Putin. He complained about European anti-Semitism, and VVP invited European Jews to migrate to Russia, to escape Hitlerite hordes prowling on Champs-Élysées.

Many European Jews moved to Russia in 1930s, among them Menachem Begin, the Israeli Prime Minister, and my father. They escaped Hitler, and found a safe refuge in the Soviet Russia. So the idea is not that crazy as it sounds. In a private conversation, Putin promised Netanyahu to accept Israeli refugees if the things will go badly for the Zionist state.

However, this is quite unlikely eventuality. Meanwhile, the Jews are not endangered anywhere, though they are a source of danger for their neighbours in Palestine. European Jews are doing fine, despite Israeli attempts to scare them into Aliyah, immigration to Israel.

Putin does such odd meetings and declarations as he really wants to be friends with Jews. The problem is, he meets the wrong Jews. Moshe Kantor is the least popular Jewish oligarch, greatly disliked by Jews of all walks of life. There is no positive publicity in such encounters.

Putin has even less success with Russian Jews. The Russian Jewish community practically disappeared in Soviet days. There are descendants of Jews, but no community. Putin thought he needs one, so he invited the Chabad Hassids to organise the communities. They came from New York and from Europe and began to create Jewish communities. They know how to do it: a lot of modern Jewish communities all over the world are new creations of Chabad.

The Hassids made a lot of successful real estate deals. Now the Jewish communities of Russia are very rich and prosperous; they own vast tracts of expensive land. Just in Moscow they have over thirty synagogues and communal centres, the biggest Jewish museum in the world, and a new centre in Moscow’s Beverley Hills, Rublevka. They lack just one thing: they have no Russian Jews. They all gone to Israel, or abandoned the faith of their fathers.

This does not stop the Chabad Hassids from building more synagogues and importing more and more pious Jews from abroad. They carry out their missionary activity, trying to bring descendants of Jews back to faith, in the meantime enriching themselves. They are politically neutral; they never speak against Putin. They present photo ops, sitting around him in their fedoras. Who knows, perhaps in some fifty years they will rebuild the Russian Jewish community. Meanwhile it seems an exercise in futility, at best.

Completely outside this artificially constructed community, there are very active political Jews, doing usual Jewish things: public relations, banking, finances, television. Some of them are Putin-friendly, even sycophantic towards the President. If you ever watch a truly obsequious till nausea film on Putin, chances are it is a Jewish production. On the other hand, other descendants of Jews are active in the opposition, both on the left and on the right. None of them needs the Chabad-created communities.

Litvinenko

I was contacted by Israeli Army Radio, as a Hebrew-speaking journalist in Moscow. What do I think about British justice accusing Vladimir Putin personally of Litvinenko’s murder? What do people of Moscow think of their President being a murderer?

People of Moscow do not believe the story, said I. Putin kills nobody, at least since he became President. Litvinenko was a very minor figure, an FSB (Russian FBI) operative dealing with organised crime in a provincial city, until his defection. He was not likely to have access to any of Putin’s dark secrets, provided they exist. His accusations were previously vented, and none of the accusers have yet succumbed. For this reason, the Russians do not take the British allegations seriously.

Thank you, that will be all, the radio anchor person hastily stopped me. Would you know of a Hebrew-speaking person in Moscow with a different point of view? Of somebody who is sure Putin bumped him off?..

I will never become a successful foreign journalist, alas. I always say and write what I think and what I see, independently of what the editors want. In the long gone 1990, during my previous stint in Moscow, I was asked whether Jewish pogroms are coming anytime soon. In my reports, I denied that, though my writing brethren from the Newsweek and the Times duly filed storm warnings. I did not observe anything of this sort. The only danger for a Jew in Russia in 1990 was in over-consumption, as that was the time when all the Jewish oligarchs came to prominence.

Alas, such observation was not conductive to a good career in Russia reporting. Successful foreign journalists in Moscow were always doomsayers, like the infamous Luke Harding who reported of the bloody KGB rule and mafia state, and he has been promoted to the very top of his profession. But I’d rather stick to truth, in the interests of my readers.

Coming back to Litvinenko, the Russians are not in the world league for political assassinations. President Obama kills more political enemies by his drones in a month than the Russians do in their lifetime. Israeli leaders lead the league: they kill every political figure that does not take their orders. Perhaps you remember Khaled Mashaal assassination attempt in 1997 that ended with a huge fiasco? Mossad agents posing as Canadian tourists sprayed poison into his ear, in the Shakespearean fashion, but were caught red-handed. In 2004, they allegedly poisoned Yasser Arafat by the same radioactive substance Litvinenko was supposedly killed with.

For this reason, some people in the Russian-Jewish circles subscribed killing of Litvinenko to his erstwhile patron, the demonic billionaire Mr Berezovsky. He had the reasons, and he had the means, as he had first class access to Mossad killing tools.

Still, no British judge ever attempted to censure an Israeli Prime Minister for an assassination, or for kidnapping, like when Mordechai Vanunu was kidnapped under orders of Mr Shimon Peres.

Anyway Mr Litvinenko’s ghost does not disturb the Muscovites’ beauty sleep: he was not a figure people were aware of, even when he was alive.

Syrian War

The Syrian war is going well. So many things could go wrong, but meanwhile the Russian army is happy, and relations with the Syrians are next to perfect. The army is happy because they have an opportunity to use all their bright new toys. The spirit of the expeditionary force is high. The Syrian climate is much better than central Russia; there are many pretty Syrian girls who are friendly with Russian pilots and marines. Latakia is peaceful; restaurants are open. They even plan to bring the famed Russian circus to cheer the troops. Damascus is peaceful, too. In central Damascus you are lulled into a false feeling of security. You may forget about the war but for intermittent sounds of explosions from far away.

The real warfare is concentrated around the Azaz corridor, a narrow strip of land connecting Turkey to the rebel forces in Aleppo. Though it has been narrowed down to four miles in some places, the Syrian [government] Army can’t take it, despite the Russian aerial support. For the success of the whole operation, it is paramount to seize the corridor and cut the supply lines, but there is a heavy political flak and military difficulties.

At the last Lavrov-Kerry meeting, the American State Secretary six times implored his Russian counterpart to keep hands off the Azaz corridor. The Americans do not want to see Russian victory; besides, the Turks threaten to invade if the corridor is blocked. The Kurds could help the Army cut the corridor, but they do not rush to enter such a bloody and dangerous confrontation. They prefer to sit tight and wait for somebody else to do the job.

The Kurds are afraid of the Turks just across the border and do not want to upset them too much. They do not feel they have much to gain from President Assad’s victory. Syrian Christians told me the Kurds go into their territory and shoot at the Daesh forces, thus causing Daesh’s ferocious retort to the Christians. This is the sectarian reality of Syria, where only the Syrian Army fights for the whole country.

The threats and requests would not stay the advance of the Army, but taking the Azaz corridor is a formidable task anyway. The rebels are dug in; the Islamists use suicide bombers to stem the army offensive. They created deeply entrenched defensive lines and the Russian-Syrian coalition forces advance very slowly, if at all.

The Russians say that the Syrian soldiers are tired, and they do not want to fight hard. The Syrian Mukhabarat (Intelligence Services), a very important independent player, believe that Russia and Iran are committed to preserving Syria, so let them fight. This attitude seeps into the Syrian army. They, like the Kurds, prefer to sit tight and wait. Young men in danger of being drafted prefer to go to Germany or Sweden – this is the first war in history where such an option exists.

In some places the Russian specnaz (airborne, special troops and marines) dislodged the rebels, took their positions and transferred them to the Syrian Army, but the army failed to hold the positions and retreated at the first enemy shelling.

An Iranian brigade made a try and suffered very heavy losses. Some Iranian units were decimated, and since then the Iranians prefer to act as military advisers. They still have many casualties, including high-ranking ones. Iran spends some ten billion dollar a year on Syrian war, according to some sources.

The Russian ground forces are estimated at some two thousand soldiers and officers; they are needed for the defense of the Latakia area. It seems that the Russians and Iranians would have to bring more troops to win the war, but meanwhile it is not going to happen.

The Russian bombing campaign has been successful in one way: it convinced many rebel units to sue for peace. Before the bombs, they were all against any dealing with Assad government; now, they are for settling the conflict peacefully. As I wrote in my previous reports, the real purpose of Russian aerial operations is to force a peaceful solution on the rebels. Well, on some rebels, as the Daesh and an-Nusra appear quite immune to persuasion.

The Russians and the Americans do not fight Daesh too much, as if they are afraid to destroy the force they used to justify their involvement. The Syrian army attempts to advance in Palmyra were repelled by Daesh. The Daesh counteroffensive in Deir al Zour has been accompanied by a mass slaughter of civilians; the army stopped it but could not advance. So the political solution seems to be imperative for conclusion of the war.

Dealing with the armed opposition goes on two levels: local and international. Locally, Russian commissars meet with local rebel commanders and try to convince them to switch sides. Internationally, Russian diplomats argue with their counterparts from the US, Germany, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia about the agenda and personalities for the forthcoming conference.

I have met with a Russian representative who concluded his tour of duty meeting the rebel commanders. He told me that the rebels trust Bashar Assad but do not trust his officers and intelligence agents. There is much bad blood between the rebels and the Army officers. The rebels ask for Russian intermediaries and even for Russian officers to accompany them. Otherwise, they say, Assad forces will renege on promises. They often ask for money to change their allegiance. It seems that (aside from the Islamist fanatics) the rebels look for a way out of the war.

On the international level, there is hard bargaining between Russia and the rest. Moscow is a hub for negotiations: all Middle Eastern rulers and European high-ranking diplomats visited Moscow recently to discuss Syria.

Among them, there was the Emir of Qatar, who was very polite and gentle with the Russian president. He promised to attend to Russian interests in Syria. Putin presented him a fine falcon, but did not give in on his support of Assad.

There were more rumours of Russians demanding that Assad retire. These rumours usually appear in Russian opposition newspapers. From what I learned from Russian high-ranking personalities, these are just rumours created to saw distrust between the Russians and the Syrians. Russia stands by Assad, at least until the Syrian people will elect another ruler.

The conference on Syria was supposed to get together on January 25; at writing of these lines, it did not convene yet. It is not clear who will come. The Turks object to the Kurdish presence, Saudis reject some Moscow-approved persons, the US basically supports the Saudi list.

The greatest chance for peace lies in exhaustion. The Syrians are tired of war, and the Russian involvement convinced the rebels they can not win. Now they are trying to make a deal, but this is also a time-consuming operation.

However, until now the Russians have no reason to regret their decision to save Bashar Assad. Syria is more fun than the Eastern Ukraine, and the climate is better.

Ain’t that a truth. Amen. A motto of a freelancing journalist: “truth instead of propaganda”. But not all freelancers have such motto, Margolis is a great example of a propaganda freelancer. Serving the regime is much more lucrative, as long as one can stay motivated to keep churning out the standard propaganda sewage articles for NYT, WaPo, BBC, Independent, the Israel Army Radio and the rest of the regimes’ propaganda organs: Russian aggression, Russian danger (greater than Ebola and ISIS combined), Putin Litvinenko killer, Putin Nemtsov killer, “Putin killed my baby son” (in MH17), Putin pedophile, Putin Jew, Putin Hitler, Putin … whatever a Western “news” consuming moron will swallow next.

This collection of insights and rumors from Moscow is priceless, thank you very much Israel, you truly keep us informed. I humbly encourage every positive reader to buy Shamir’s books online, I swear that they are a great read and they help Israel Shamir to continue writing for us.

JFK was a notorious WAR CRIMINAL and Traitor. JFK brought the Human Species to within 60 seconds of permanent extinction during the Cuban Missile Crisis. We can all thank a Conservative Orthodox Russian Naval Commander named Vitali Akripov for the continued existence of the Human Species. JFK the TRAITOR:The passage of The 1965 Immigration Reform Act was the filthy reprobate Teddy’s permanent monument of demographic destruction to the reprobate JFK.

Don’t support the Troops…Commit “treason” against this nonsense and to SATANIC UNIVERSE it exists in…Which will be on full-display during the Superbowl on Feb 7 2016…And what will be on display is this:post-1965 Pakistani Muslim “American” Military Academy Color Guards+car commericials celebrating homosexual male husband and husband raising infant blue-eyed blond haired infant boys and blue-eyed blond haired infant girls.

To state the very obvious:America=Social and Cultural Filth and Rot!!!!!

Russia=SKY BLUE CONSERVATIVE ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN PURE!!!!!

One last thing…NY Giants headcoach Tom Caughlin was a Vietnam War Era chickenhawk-draft-dodger who now acts as highly paid-big $$$$$$$$$$$$$-recruiter for the US Army. What a despicable creature he is!!!!!

  6. We need to be very honest what these Wounded Warrior Project Infomercials really are about….and it goes something like this:

1)The Wounded Warriors in the Wounded Warrior Project Infomercials are limbless, brain damaged freaks sporting titanium insect limbs and having their rumps wiped every day by a wife who is at her breaking point and is contemplating an affair.

2)The White Male “Christian” Chickenhawks with their accounting degrees standing up yelling “WHAT A STUD” in Met Life Stadium in the Meadowlands understand 1) above very well, and are very glad they are not protecting “OUR FREEDOMS” in Iraq and Afghanistan..It’s much more fun to say that “I support the Troops” by having a Bud and stuffing your disgusting shapeless Gob with Doritos”…and say to your chickenhawk self:”I never knew that going to war could be so much FREAKING FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

3)The Wounded Warrior Project Infomercials are Crippled-Freaks War Pornography for the pudgie White Male Irish Catholic Chickenhawk Accountants who sit in Met Life Stadium in the Meadowlands and Yell””WHAT STUD” at young Black Males running around in tight spandex….Then hanging with the chickenhawk ex-jock Boomer Esiason the next day on WFAN and listen to Boomer Esiason declare WAR on Conservative Orthodox Christian Vladmir Putin because Vladmir Putin won’t allow American White Male homo husband and husband to adopt infant blond-hair-blue-eyed Russian Male infants….I’m not making this up!

  7. Talking about the “Afghan-heroine pipeline” ….

The Jew have always been among the top merchants in drug trade. Gay Coourter in his book Flowers in the Blood tells the Indian Jews involved in drug trade under the British Raj in India. The longest jail sentence (100 years) in connection with trafficking drug is Shimon Dahan, an Israeli Jew, in Bangkok’s Bangkwong Central Prison. His three inmates, serving sentences for drug trafficking, are also his fellow Jews. Dahan was busted at Bangkok Airport for carrying US$2 million worth of the white-powder in 1993.

Most of drug trafficking is controlled by Russian Jews and Israel has been known as the Heaven for such criminals. Even Israeli government ministers have been involved in this lucrative trade. Captain Gonen Segev, the former minister of Energy and Infrastructure (1995) in Yitzhak Robin’s cabinet and member of Israeli Knesset – was arrested in April 2004 for smuggling of thousands of Ecstasy tablets from Amsterdam to Israel.

One of the leading member of America’s pro-Israel lobby groups such as the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which was founded in 1908 by Canon Edward West, as a subsidary of Jewish B’nai B’rith – Morris Barney Dalitz, a Las Vegas businessman – was one of the most important figures in organized crime for sixty years.

Poppy seed has religious significance during Jewish PURIM holiday season. According to the tradition – Persian Jewish Queen Esther, refused to eat non-kosher food and chose a vegetarian diet of beans, nuts and poppy seed in King’s Palace…..

  8. Israel Shamir reminds of his fellow ex-Israeli writer, Gilad Atzmon. While Shamir is obsessed with Russia, Atzmon is with his anti-Zionism.

However, one thing both have in common, is they have been listed among the 8,000 S.H.I.T Jewish list.

In 2011, Israel Shamir gave an interview to American Jewish journalist Will Yakowicz. Will Yakowicz’ version of the interview was published by the Jewish ‘Tablet magazine’ under explosive title ‘His Jewish Problem’.

Shamir told Will that when he was living in Palestine, he felt daily that destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque would bring to the end of the world.

Shamir did not deny his comparing Israeli soldiers with Nazis.

When asked to elaborate his claim that anti-Semitism is an article of Jewish faith, Shamir replied: “How do the Jews explain hatred of Gentiles? By their envy. They say that everybody is envious of Jews, and for this reason they hate. It is an article of Jewish faith that everybody should be envious of Jews because Jews are close to God. I hardly ever met a person who would be envious of Jews. That is why I do not believe in existence of anti-Semitism. I’ve met people who were described as anti-Semites; some of them would hate the concept, the idea of Jews but hardly anybody would hate Jews as persons”…..

  11. Good article. The Litvinenko murder is a fine example of Putin Derangement Syndrome. Like the Bush and Obama version, it does not make much sense. Any head of state is going to kill people. But in any of these deaths often attributed to governments, other explanations seem better suited to the facts. A Litvinenko ally that he trusted seems the most likely culprit.

  12. A living example of Jewish SELF-DENIAL.

A 2010 study conducted by Professor Daniel Bar-Tal (Tel Aviv University) found out that an average Israeli prefer to live in ‘self-denial’ as he/she is not interested to know the facts about the Israel-Palestine conflict. They’re brainwashed with Zionist narrative of the conflict and hatred toward Arabs and Muslims from an early age. The Zionist rabbis are known for using Talmudic texts to create hatred toward Arabs, Blacks and Christians.

  13. Israel Shamir should no that the Emir of Qatar is no Avigdor Lieberman (a Russian Jew ex-FM of Israel) that Putin can trust. Qatar, like Saudi Arabia, is a creation and colony of Anglo-American imperialism.

Qatar has a population of 1.5 million, out of which only 20% are native Qataris. The Emirate sits atop one of the world’s largest gas fields, which it shares with Islamic Republic. Qatar has 13.5 percent of global natural gas reserves, but it was Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani’s big bet in the early 1990s on gas-to-liquid technologies which continues to pay huge dividends for him today. From their strategic location in the Gulf, Qatar’s fleet of more than 50 gas trains can go where the growth is, whether it is East or West.

Sheikh Hamad knows how to play a political balancing game. He started funding mercenaries against Qaddafi long before Israel-Firster Sarkozy started bombing Libya. Currently, he along with Saudi ‘royals’ is funding defeated Lebanon’s prime minister Sa’ad Hariri to destablize Syria and Lebanon. However, he is maintaining ‘friendly’ relations with Iran and Turkey. He met Ahmadinejad in Tehran on August 25 and later went to meet Erdogan in Ankara.

In 2010 – Qatar invested $32 billion in the US and Europe – mostly in real estate.

  17. It is known that Litvinenko died from Polonium poisoning. Britsih authorities were able to trace the movements of the man who spiked Litvinenko’s tea by the presence of Polonium 210 at the places where he stayed. The probability they have fingered the man who actually carried out the murder is as close 1 as you can get. Who ordered it may be a question, but the man who actually carried it out is known.

Litvinenko was a very vocal Putin critic and a lot of what he said was hitting Putin where he lived. Putin had the motive to have the man killed, so there is a good probability that Putin is the guy who ordered it.

  18. You want to talk about “moron” Israeli hasbara filth. It’s okey with me.

In 2004, the Jewish Quarterly published a confession by porn historian Dr. Nathan Abrams Jewish), claiming that Hollywood porn industry has always been dominated by Jews. Abrams refers to Smut Kings as ‘true blue Jews’ and pornography, “a weapon” Jews use against Gentiles.

Chicago-born Rabbi Samuel H. Dresner (died 2000) in his 1995 book, Can Families Survive in Pagan America?, blamed Jews in Hollywood and media of corrupting the western societies.

Last year, Dr. Lasha Darkmonn posted a very detailed article, calling pornography a Secret Jewish Weapon against non-Jewish people.

“Who are the richest and most successful entrepreneurs of the $100 billion year porn industry? The peddlers of pornography belongs to all races, but one race above all stands out as preeminent in this field. Selling sex, like slave trafficking and moneylending, has always been a Jewish specialty,” Darkmoon said.

“There is little doubt that the virulent sex epidemic we witness all around us is a deliberately planned sex psyop. This is what governments want. The Puppet Masters who pull the hidden strings of our Western regimes, all masquerading as democracies, have managed to manufacture exactly what we see when we look around us: widespread neurosis, mass misery, the collapse of moral values, Christianity in ruins, and the coarse brutalization of the common man. No need for gulags for those who consent to their own chains,” she concludes.

  19. Warhol and Hirst suck almighty….

but they do have a kind of value.

It makes people feel free, as if anything is possible.

It opens up the idea of art and creativity to be just about anything.

This can lead to dumb decadence and moronosity — and this is true enough of most of the art world — , but it can also encourage a spirit of freedom.
    Also, irreverence is liberating.

Serov was a good artist — better than just about anyone today — , but when we look at his stuff, we feel “art must be something like this”. It doesn’t inspire us to seek something new and bold.

Now, I loathe Warhol and Hirst, but there is the sense about their works that ‘art is what you make it to be with your will, vision, zaniness, craziness, wit, daring, etc.’
Such attitude usually leads to bad art most of the time… but it can also open doors to amazing new things.

After all, so many great things had ‘vulgar’ and ridiculous beginnings.

It’s like American popular music was looked down upon by snobs in the beginning. Now, the snobs had good reasons for doing so.
But there was something about low American music that said ‘music can be anything’, whereas high European music said ‘music must be THIS’.

In the end, the spirit of freedom won out.

  22. Jew obsessed rehmat thinks Hollywood porn is the worst of the USA’s problems. I bet he’d blame the Jews for Catholic pedophilia corrupting politicians:

What rehmat can’t grasp because he’s obsessed with Jews is:

When it comes to corruption, there is nothing special about Jews. George H.W. Bush and Robert Gates are Gentile examples of organized intelligence agency crime second to none

Actually rehmat reminds me of a certain Christian philosopher’s stance:

“In every system of morality, which I have hitherto met with, I have always remarked, that the author proceeds for some time in the ordinary ways of reasoning, and establishes the being of a God, or makes observations concerning human affairs; when all of a sudden I am surprised to find, that instead of the usual copulations of propositions, is, and is not, I meet with no proposition that is not connected with an ought, or an ought not. This change is imperceptible; but is however, of the last consequence. For as this ought, or ought not, expresses some new relation or affirmation, ’tis necessary that it should be observed and explained; and at the same time that a reason should be given, for what seems altogether inconceivable, how this new relation can be a deduction from others, which are entirely different from it. But as authors do not commonly use this precaution, I shall presume to recommend it to the readers; and am persuaded, that this small attention would subvert all the vulgar systems of morality, and let us see, that the distinction of vice and virtue is not founded merely on the relations of objects, nor is perceived by reason”

A country (UK) in which a coroner makes accusations just like you wrote here is not a country of laws then a totalitarian hellhole ruled through propaganda and innuendo. But what is new, this was always the George Orwell’s Britain?

Therefore, you are on the wrong side.

  26. “So if you shit on your dining room floor, it’s a great advance for sanitation, because using the lavatory just wouldn’t give you that feeling that everything is possible?”

    See it this way.

Shitting at Stalin’s dinner would have been a more revolutionary act than having good manners.

I didn’t say wild freedom and anarchy in and of themselves are good. I said they can unleash certain creative energies.
This is why all systems fear irreverence. This goes for PC too. We are not supposed to shit on Bruce ‘Caitlyn’ Jenner. We are supposed to treat him or ‘her’ as a holy icon.

    But I’ll say this…
What is dangerous about our PC world is that irreverence and satire have been appropriated by the powers-that-be.
There was a time when Jews and radicals had much less power. So, they used irreverence and satire to undermine authority and conventional values. They shook up the system. But they were not content to be satirists and subversives. They wanted to gain power and impose what they saw was righteous and true. So, they became the new dogmatists. But because they rose to power by employing satire and irreverence, they came to own the cult of irreverence even though they were in position to suppress irreverence aimed at their own holy cows. It is dangerous for the powerful to own the cult of ‘irreverence’.
Also, the rich class learned that they could buy off the satirists, the critics, and nasties. Rich could buy up the media and hire only those ‘critical’ voices they approve of. Rich could patronize certain ‘edgy’ artists who basically ended up doing the bidding of rich folks whose only interest in the arts is as financial investment. It’s been a symbiotic relationship. The radical artist could pretend that he’s duping the rich by selling them junk at super-high prices, but the rich don’t care since that they are being ‘fooled’ since any ‘art’ will do to serve their financial schemes of hiding money by investing in ‘art’. So, the joke is on the artist and on the investor, and wink wink, both sides know and get what they want. This is why the rich loved Warhol so much. Same reason why the rich love homos as the favorite ‘progressives’. Homos know how to work with the rich.

Still, there is value in irreverence. Just look at the culture of trolling. Sure, much of it is retarded and stupid. But there are cases where the trolls open up the debate and knock down the PC barriers erected to control the discourse within certain set perimeters.

Now, I’m not saying irreverence is itself art. But sometimes, it can unleash energies and allow a kind of spirit that liberates the soul and opens up new possibilities.
Besides, creativity doesn’t have to be about serious or ennobling art all the time.

I love classic music but I also love what the Marx Brothers did with it. And that is what’s great about America and Jewish attitude. Instead of just being reverent and submissive all the time, a time to poke fun and laugh.
Dylan was a clown and poet, and his clowning was an essential part of his poetics.

  37. The element of SHOCK no longer works.

I can think of stuff that can certainly offend. Imagine a painting of Anne Frank blowing Hitler. Or MLK as a KKK wizard.

But it still won’t shock because nothing is shocking anymore.

Shock jumped the shark long time ago. Even social conservatives, who were once easy to shock, just ignore the garbage. They once burned Beatle records after Lennon said ‘We are bigger than Jesus’. But they don’t even stand up to homo flags in churches.

Since tradition is gone, innovation is gone, shock is gone, what is left?

There is still SHOP. Art is now just just shopping for the very rich.
That’s it. Art itself matters infinitely less than what rich people are willing to pay for it. It’s just a speculation game. Art Gallery is part of Wall Street. Has been for a long time.
Art criticism is now just financial advice.

    http://www.arthistoryarchive.com/arthistory/feminist/images/BarbaraKruger-I-Shop-Therefore-I-Am-I-1987.jpg

Only innovation in creativity is technology-related.
Much of the talent go into movies or video games.

The art of painting has turned into just a money game for the rich.

At exactly the same time when the US has gathered all their resources to demonize a Prez of another country, as if the US do not have their own problems with the violations of the Geneva Conventions, illegal wars of aggression initiated on lies (the wars have resulted in destruction of several states and the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of human beings of all ages), and extrajudicial killings.

But now, following the demented British report, I have, again like a number of other people, become convinced that the Russian government and secret services are largely innocent of Litvinenko’s death.

  63. The Jewish multi-billionaire media tycon and politician, Boris Abramovich Berezovsky is wanted for arrest in both Russia and Brazil. Boris was a close friend of former KGB spy Alexander Litvinenko, who was poisoned with a lethal dose of radioactive Polonium-210 in a London sushi bar. Russian author, Paul Klebnikov has called Boris Berezovsky “Godfather of the Kremlin” in his 2000 book by the same name. Currently, Boris is reportedly backing the exiled Chechen politician Ahmed Zakayev, currently living in Britain.

“The September 2004 Beslan hostage crisis, which led to the deaths of over 300 people including many children, another event blamed on Chechen terrorists, was also wrought with contradictions and red flags suggesting inside involvement. The Beslan massacre occurred amidst a wave of terror attacks in Russia and shortly after the crashes of two Tupolev passenger airliners, which were blamed on Chechen terrorists by authorities. However, citing the fact that the aircraft debris was scattered over large areas, the independent Russian media accused Vladimir Putin of ordering the planes shot down in a crude false flag ploy to secure an election victory for the pro-Kremlin Chechen President Alu Alkhanov two days later,” wrote Alex Jones.

    https://consortiumnews.com/2016/01/28/nazi-roots-of-ukraines-conflict/

“Since World War II, the Republican Party has been closely allied with pro-Nazi exile leaders from Eastern Europe. Many of them were recruited and paid by the CIA — and given secret legal exemptions to emigrate to the United States despite their history of war crimes… The CIA and Pentagon also earmarked millions of dollars’ worth of arms and other military aid to anti-Soviet Ukrainian guerrillas in the late 1940s, despite their record of atrocities against Jews and other civilians. In hindsight, it is clear that the Ukrainian guerrilla option became the prototype for hundreds of CIA operations worldwide that have attempted to exploit indigenous discontent in order to make political gains for the United States.”
    Sigh.

  68. It is very time consuming to find information contrary to the regime propaganda. This is only one why propaganda is successful – it is so much easier and quicker to consume the propaganda pig feed served through MSM. One does not need to form own opinion (spend time and money researching an issue) when the talking head has an opinion ready-made for you.

This is why sometimes we have to take such short-cuts as you just suggested. I find this totally reasonable. If I researched 20 issues and always found the regime lying, then I feel justified to form an opinion that if the regime is really, really keen to convince me of their enemy’s guilt, then there is an extremely high probability that the regime’s insinuations are the usual smear job.

A few years ago, I formulated this point in a following way.

The West calls most of its enemies “Hitler”, typically because it is the Zionists and their Western henchmen who initiate smear campaigns,
    Mugabe Hitler
    Milosevic Hitler
    Saddam Hitler
    Gaddafi Hitler
    Assad Hitler
    Putin Hitler …
But what all these Hitlers have in common is that they care(d) about their own people and resisted to be puppets of the West. Therefore, when the Anglo-Zionists call some leader a Hitler, this is like the British giving him/her a title “Sir”. When the West smears a foreign leader, calls him Hitler, killer, pedophile, thrower of babies out of incubators, distributor of Viagra for rapes etc, this is the most reliable sign, a stamp of approval, that this leader works to protect the interests of his own people,
    Sir Hitler Mugabe
    Sir Hitler Milosevic
    Sir Hitler Saddam
    Sir Hitler Gaddafi
    Sir Hitler Assad
    Sir Hitler Putin.
We do not need to know the background of the story.

  69. Do you subscribe to the opinion that one death is a tragedy and a million deaths is a statistic? To me this is a myopic viewpoint.

Why are you and Quartermaster interested in a single death? Could it be that you are grasping at straws to try to blame Putin? This death occurred in 2006, why didn’t this get investigated and solved at that time? Bringing this up now seems to be a political attack.

My focus on mass deaths is why this story should not have released for political gain. The less the general public knows about the toxicity and chemistry of polonium the better, trust me on this point!!! I will not try to educate you about the radiochemistry of polonium.

  70. What most people in the West do not appreciate is that FSB operates in Russia as CIA and FBI combined – they fight both domestic organised crime (especially white collar) and foreign intelligence. Could someone knowledgeable correct me if I am wrong on this. Having worked in the crime fighting unit of FSB (if this is true), Litvinenko had access only to information on crime, not on Russian foreign intelligence activity. As every Soviet/Russian defector before him, he tried to use the information he brought with him to make a living in the new country. Therefore, it would be quite logical that he would turn to those Russian crime figures he was investigating, who ran away to Britain and US, to sell them the FSB files on them, and to turn them into benefactors. When his main benefactor, Berezovsky, realized that his dream of doing a coup against Putin were a pipe dream, he stopped supporting Litvinenko. Then Litvinenko had to resort to other sources of income, such as smuggling and blackmail. Whether Litvinenko was really poisoned by polonium or not is not clear, because the source of this piece of information, the British Government, is a highly biased source. He just could have been poisoned.

Polonium is needed in this story to “prove” that it was a government sponsored crime, but why would the Russian Government (Putin) bother with such a complicated arrangement of carrying the detectable radioactive material through airports and customs, when a bullet into the back of the head or ordinary poison would have done the same job? In case of Arafat, the Israelis did not have to carry the radioactive polonium anywhere, Arafat was already in Palestine, easily accessible.

In summary, Putin killing Litvinenko carries as much water as Putin killing Nemtsov on a street leading to Kremlin. It is the usual pig feed for the dumbed down Western masses. The most likely explanation is that Litvinenko either poisoned himself with the radioactive material he was smuggling, or he was poisoned (with ordinary poison) by one of the crime figures he was blackmailing. Like Shamir, I believe in the latter.

  71. @Krollchem

Understood but I think you are being unfair to those of us who choose to take an interest in a subject, or at least the handling of it, which is raised in the very headline of the article. I don’t think you are right about the delay and the implication that the inquiry was just opportunistically set up to meet an immediate political requirement. My recollection is that the police investigated in the ordinary way, murder was eventually established, as were the identities of the perpetrators, and extradition was sought. Finally, as last resort, an inquiry was set up to try and establish the truth of a very important crime. Not at all like any old mugging gone wrong that the tabloids might pick up on if there was merely a salacious angle.

As to polonium I suspect your care not to educate the wider criminal community will be of no avail if they have already learned online that that isotope of polonium is “250,000 times as toxic as cyanide”, that it is not dangerous to handle as long as you don’t let it touch any part of your body which would allow it to enter your bloodstream, and that therefore getting just a barely visible amount into a person’s lungs or mouth will be fatal but not immediately revealed as toxic unless the dose is unnecessarily large. In short perfectly tasteless and perfectly fatal. But……

Could even you tell the would be malefactors what is really missing from the murder scenario…namely, how do you get your hands on it?

And, to answer your opening paragraph, it is a red herring brought up by you because there was no reason on this thread to discuss public health issues such as you mention. It would make some suspicious minds think you were trying to downplay and draw attention away from a Putin critic’s murder. I am more inclined to read it as a rather relaxed careless way of indicating in a general way that people tend to lose sight of the bigger issues, as they indeed do. But here was the wrong context, though I’m very happy to read people making good points about the difference between the 300,000 people killed annually by guns in the US compared with the infinitesimal number killed by terrorist acts, just for one obvious example.

  73. Correction, the Daily Mail is a British daily middle-market tabloid newspaper owned by the Daily Mail and General Trust, it was established by Lord Northcliffe in 1896.

“The Daily Mail was Britain’s first daily newspaper aimed at the newly-literate “lower-middle class market resulting from mass education, combining a low retail price with plenty of competitions, prizes and promotional gimmicks”, and was the first British paper to sell a million copies a day.

It was at the outset a newspaper for women, the first to provide features especially for them, and as of the second-half of 2013 had a 54.77% female readership, the only British newspaper whose female readers constitute more than 50% of its demographic.

The paper has been criticised by doctors and scientists for its sensationalist reporting on medical subjects.”

  74. Well there are posters like Tom_R & Blair Mountain who post walls of links in an attempt to divert every thread to the same tired topic… but yes there have been many quality links here.

I personally think its more logical an Oligarch poisoned Litvinenko.
I doubt Putin cared much about what dirt on his government a low-level FSB field operative would have. Also the West mostly hated him before the poisoning-accusations anyway, so why bother taking the risk?
Why take the care to poison a relative nobody like Litvinenko when far bigger rivals like Khodorkhovsky or Gessen mouth off regularly?
Even if the Kremlin did kill him, I can’t say I would particularly care (although I am against the death.p except in extreme cases).
America would probably have killed Snowden or Assange had they not become world-famous, and that Litvinenko converted to Mahometanism (in a warzone against his own country) is a huge red-flag. Fuck him.

  78. There is a well-established fact that the pro-US Ukrainians include both the neo-Nazis and radical jihadis. https://consortiumnews.com/2016/01/29/ukraine-merges-nazis-and-islamists-2/
“Andrew E. Kramer reported that there were three Islamic battalions “deployed to the hottest zones,” such as around the port city of Mariupol. One of the battalions is headed by a former Chechen warlord who goes by the name “Muslim.” The Chechen commands the Sheikh Mansur group, named for an 18th-century Chechen resistance figure. It is subordinate to the nationalist Right Sector, a Ukrainian militia. … Right Sector … formed during [2014] street protests in Kiev from a half-dozen fringe Ukrainian nationalist groups like White Hammer and the Trident of Stepan Bandera. Another, the Azov group, is openly neo-Nazi, using the ‘Wolf’s Hook’ symbol associated with the [Nazi] SS. Without addressing the issue of the Nazi symbol, the Chechen said he got along well with the nationalists because, like him, they loved their homeland and hated the Russians.”
“During the February 2014 coup that ousted elected President Viktor Yanukovych, the late fascist Stepan Bandera was one of the Ukrainian icons celebrated by the Maidan protesters. During World War II, Bandera headed the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists-B, a radical paramilitary movement that sought to transform Ukraine into a racially pure state. At times coordinating with Adolf Hitler’s SS, OUN-B took part in the expulsion and extermination of tens of thousands of Jews and Poles.”

Where is Anti-defamatioan League when we need it? The ADL claims that it was founded in 1913 “to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.” But tell that to the ADL & AIPAC’ darlings, the Kagans clan: the Kagans have made an enormous contribution to defaming the memory of those Jews that perished in Europe during the WWII. There is no way to decouple the Kagans (and other prominent ziocons like Kristols, Krouthummer at al) from the ongoing Ukrainan tragedy.

Western MSM is deadly silent about the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov “year-in-review press conference before an audience of about 150 journalists, including the BBC correspondent Steve Rosenberg and many other well-known representatives of mainstream Western media..”

    https://consortiumnews.com/2016/01/29/a-russian-diplomats-take-on-the-world/

“Our Western colleagues sometimes declare with passion that there can no longer be ‘business as usual with Russia.’ I am convinced that this is so and here we agree: there will be no more ‘business as usual’ when they tried to bind us with agreements which take into account above all the interests of either the European Union or the United States and they wanted to persuade us that this will do no harm to our interests. That history is over and done with. A new stage of history is dawning which can develop only on the basis of equal rights and all other principles of international law.”
“Regarding a similar news blackout that followed another major Russian press briefing, the sharp-tongued Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented, what are all these accredited Western reporters doing in Moscow if nothing gets published abroad? Do they have some other occupation?”
In keeping with custom, the Russian Foreign Ministry posted the entire video recording of Lavrov’s press conference on youtube.com and posted transcripts in Russian and English on the http://www.mid.ru site. “

  81. As we both know about 97% of the polonium is produced in Russia. Was it smuggled as some articles suggested, or was it a murder?

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/12/13/AR2006121302009.html

    http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/the_gist/2006/12/the_polonium_connection.2.html

The US and UK inability to produce useful radioactive isotopes is well known. The US even got out of the medical isotope game and imports a lot of these products from Canada. The last US produced radioactive isotope was yttrium produced from a strontium cow at Hanford in about 1996. Yes DOE has recently tested creating Pu238 for space probes, but still gets their supplies from Russia.

To answer your question about finding the exact source of polonium. I agree that this would be impossible given the purity of Bi-209 from which the polonium was created.

As for the murder angle, I do not understand why you focus on the Putin critic approach and not some of the Russian mafia enemies of Litvinenko. I guess Putin is already declared guilty in The Mail and other British rags. Sorry, but I do not buy that angle. Again, why kill with polonium when there are much cheaper options such as a bullet? Again, why is this death not of sudden interest in the mass media? This sudden focus sounds like the application of Edward Bernays “Propaganda” TOMA to shape the masses.

speaking of gun deaths, from all causes, in the US, the estimates are about 30,000 and not 300,000. This is about the same as auto accidents and polonium 210 deaths from smoking.

The Daily Mail is the leading online newspaper of the world:

  89. In some ways, the West’s attempt to isolate Russia has been a good thing.

Suppose Russia is welcomed by the West. Then, Russia might be open to Western-style policies, lower its nationalist guard, and adopt western ways that are proving to be so suicidal.

It’s been said that it was a great thing that Western European nations buried the hatchet after WWII and made peace. But, all that peace had a negative side-effect.

Too much peace and brotherliness among European nations made all the nations overly trusting in unity and cooperation. It robbed them of their suspicions. A people that are no longer suspicious lose their survival instinct. (Corleones in THE GODFATHER had to always be suspicious and never ever trusting. To trust is to lower your guard. Trust culture is good within a nation/culture, but it should never be applied to outsiders. Corleone’s share all the secrets in the family but never with outsiders.)
It’s like dogs raised to love and trust one another lose the keen instinct for survival.
A wild dog or wolf is more wary, aggressive, and less cooperative, but it has powerful in self-preservation instincts. It sees everything as a potential danger. It takes no chances.
But if you raise a bunch of dogs together and make them all be friendly-trusting-complacent, sure they get along together and that’s all very nice. But the dogs become like deer in headlight. They don’t know how to react to danger or respond to threat. They think everyone and everything is their friend. They lose all sense of danger and threat. They project their sense of safety and security on the entire world.

And we see this in EU today.

When Europe was more divided, competitive, and mutually suspicious, it’s true that this sometimes led to terrible wars among Europeans. But on the other hand, each nation had very powerful survival instincts. Since they feared and suspected nearby nations, why would they trust the rest of the world? Such distrust among European nations led to wars but also passion for pride and survival.

But after WWII, all the Western European nations got along famously. They became like tamed dogs. They were nice and friendly. And cuddly.
It was good that Europeans were no longer killing Europeans. But with all that peace and prosperity, Europeans became less like fierce attack dogs and more like cucky-wucky neutered tamed dogs.
They went from dogs that barked and growled at strangers to dogs that were no longer afraid of strangers. Since they were protected by master USA and since they all got along happily with the other dogs, they no longer barked at strangers. They assumed that strangers are just as nice as they themselves all are with one another.

So, instead of ‘Beware of Dog’, European dogs hold up signs ‘WELCOME TO OUR PLAYGROUND’ as millions of invaders trample into Europe.

Both Old Europe and new EU are double-edged swords.

Old Europe was made up of mutually suspicious, even hostile, nations. The bad side of this was was and a lot of dead people in sometimes stupid and petty wars.
But the good side of this was that EVERY NATION has powerful survival instincts. If Poles don’t trust Germans, they are not gonna trust Africans or Muslims. If Germans don’t trust the French, they are not gonna trust the rest of the world.

The good side of New EU is that all nations get along together and live in peace and trust one another, mostly anyway.
But, the bad side of this is that Europeans, in having come to live with one another peacefully, have lost their killer/survival instinct and have come presume the entire world could get along just as peacefully as post-WWII Europeans do. (Europe as St. Bernard to the world.) And such naivete assumes that EU is just a part of the world and the world is just one big EU.

So, maybe it’s a good thing that Russia is on hostile footing with the West. Sure, there is an economic price to pay, but it makes Russians suspicious and boosts their survival instinct. And that’s better to have.

No nation trust trust the global world order dominated by the likes of Soros.

Well, here is a case in point: http://thesaker.is/djukanovic-to-be-jailed-after-montenegro-joins-nato/

For example, journalist Dusko Jovanovic, the editor-in-chief of Montenegrin newspaper Dan, was killed in front of his office in 2004. Mr. Ivo Pukanic, the editor of Croatian magazine National, was blown up in his car in 2008. Both of them were holding their own journalistic investigations against Djukanovic… During a long period of ruling Djukanovic and his relatives took control over main economic sectors of Montenegro.”

The Daily Mail: “…pro-Western Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic insists Montenegro’s invitation [to NATO] is good news for the country…” “We congratulate Montenegro,” NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg told foreign minister to loud applause at the alliance headquarters in Brussels. “This is the beginning of a very beautiful alliance…”

You don’t think Putin’s past actions are important or relevant today? Do you believe he no longer does such things, and therefore what’s past is past and should be forgotten and we should move on? I disagree with this view, but I can understand it.

Or are such actions acceptable in Russia? If so, again, I can understand your view and why you think this story is no big deal, but in the West and much of the world, this behavior is unacceptable.

  94. The case of Djukanovic is just another which illustrates the NATO’s penchant for the servants/power-franchisees with a chip on the shoulder. Except that in Djukanovic’s case it is a huge timber log. No need to explain that this is because such power-franchisees are blackmailable. Exactly the same principle operates in the US domestic politics, as Ron Unz wrote himself: the US elite will never give you a chance at a political office if you have no skeleton’s in your closet (Hilary could make a good horror movie with hers).

Djukanovic is Al Capone of Montenegro, his main business is cigarette smuggling on unimaginable scale, for the whole of the Balkans (tens of millions of smokers). He has killed opponents in the hundreds and bribed collaborators in the thousands. In a NATO democratic Nirvana, you may vote for Djukanovic or for Djukanovic. If you happen to vote for the opposition, then your vote will be stolen by this paragon of democracy and the elections will be pronounced square and fair by the Western observers. This is a standard global modus operandi of the “Western democrats”: get a crook appointed and then keep him in position through fear and bribes. Create a corrupt hierarchy, with a leader and his street enforcers (they truly beat people up if they find out they voted the wrong way).

It is interesting to see whether Djukanovic will be ejected as a too-hot-a-potato, once he fulfills his final task of getting Montenegro into NATO, or whether he will be allowed comfortable retirement as a deserving servant of the empire.

Your argument would be much stronger if you were defending a universal principle. There are many intelligent people in the West who see, understand and are concerned about the rottenness of their own regimes, which constantly try to re-focus domestic population onto foreign enemies. Most of all, this is because they are mismanaging their own societies. Your earnings are worth less and less every year, but it is more important that some foreign leader, some Putin, has organised every terrorist act in his own country or killed some insignificant oligarchic henchmen from his own nation in Britain. This is entertainment, just as “You Got Talent”, a distraction to forget how bad your rulers truly are. Putin is even more a bone in their throats because he has managed to return his country to normalcy just before the Western interventionist oligarchic elites almost brought it down to the level of Libya. Yes, they almost brought Russia to the level they brought Libya to, Russia would have ended up as Libya is now if Putin was not found. I cannot claim that I know what Putin did whilst working in KGB, but I am certain of what he has done since he became the leader of Russia. Yet, would it not be logical for you to worry about what George Bush the First did when he was the boss of the CIA, instead of worrying about Putin as a KGB bureaucrat? Or why are the US jobs getting exported to China, Mexico etc. Why are the illegal migrants getting into US so easily (who is making a profit on this)? Why are the US laws always set to serve the corporations at detriment of US citizens (e.g. Monstanto, Obamacare etc)? I can assure you that the Russians, and most other people of the World, worry more about their own home then about someone else’s.

Neither Blair nor Bush have been discovered to have had sex with boys. If it was discovered, there’d be public outrage. That behavior is considered unacceptable in the West. Russia may have different customs, but that does not mean that the West and other countries should not be disturbed and outraged by Putin’s past.

  98. Did I not say before that you belong in the propaganda pig pen? Blair, Bush and Clinton have killed hundreds of thousands of children, possibly around a million (Madeleine Albright: it was worth 1/2 million Iraqi children dying from Western sanctions). Even if your rubbish about Putin were true (whilst it is only the usual self-projection of the pedophilic British elites onto others; which British Lord is not a pedophile?), any person (pigs excepted) would accept that having sex with a few boys is less evil than killing hundreds of thousands of children.

The difference is that the actions of Blair, Bush, and Clinton were not intentional and deliberate. Any deaths of children were unintentional and unfortunate accidents. We don’t know all the details about what Putin did. We don’t know if he was on drugs, or drunk on vodka, or was forced at gunpoint, or if it was part of a KGB initiation ritual, or if he did it deliberately for personal pleasure, etc. All we know is that something very bad and very sick happened. The Daily Mail reported some of the truth, but because there is no free speech and no free press in Russia, it cannot investigate further.

  103. Sorry to say, but you are not a serious discussant. Just another JC.
Here is for you a well-documented and very unacceptable story of coverup of massive pedophile case involving high-placed British elites. Because of the known and documented facts, there is no need in insinuations and crystal balls: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/03/06/britain-s-horrific-vip-pedophile-cover-up.html
In addition, a minor remark on your logic: Bush and Blair are called the war criminals because these two have initiated a war of aggression on a blatantly false intelligence.

    http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2015/05/michael-morell-bush-cheney-iraq-war

The war resulted in the hundreds of thousands of innocent deaths including a multitude of children of all ages, from teens to newborn (and in a case of Fallujah, sprinkled with depleted uranium, in the deaths or terrible genetic defects of the unborn.) In short, the world-wide outrage against Bush the lesser and Blair has been produced by the fact of illegality of the Iraq war (this is why these two are named the war criminals). The illegality means that the deaths of the multitude of children in the Middle East were not therefore the “unintentional and unfortunate accidents” (as you wrote) but a war crime: http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/features/2013/03/2013315171951838638.html

The British elite pedophile ring was covered by The Daily Mail. The Daily Mail is objective and covers all cases of elite pedophilia, whether domestic or by foreign elites like Putin.

  106. Sorry DFS but could you please explain what you mean by stating that Russia is on a hostile footing with the West? Perhaps it would be helpful if you could provide details of any hostile actions taken by Russia towards the West. I can think of quite a few instances where Western leaders have acted in a manner hostile to Russia but when it comes to Russia’s hostility to the West I’m coming up short. Thanks in anticipation.

  108. I fail to understand why you give energy to a classic troll. But for the heck of it, here’s a few items:

The Daily Mail is a British daily tabloid newspaper, that publishes articles promoting a climate change skeptic view. As of mid-2011, “in its recent coverage of climate change and ‘green taxes’”, “The Daily Mail has given more than five times as much space to the contrarian Global Warming Policy Foundation’s views than to any other source.”

    http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Daily_Mail

Following lateral threads at sourcewatch we can discover board members…

    http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Daily_Mail_and_General_Trust_plc

Board member David Verey is an interesting thread to follow:

Positions include: former Chairman, The Blackstone Group

    http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/David_Verey

    Blackstone Group?

“Blackstone has developed strategic alliances with some of the largest and most sophisticated international financial institutions. In addition to AIG, they include Kissinger Associates…

    and

The Blackstone Group was appointed as Enron’s principal financial advisor with regard to its financial restructuring.[3] The company also advised Enron on “the Sale of its North American Power and Gas Trading Business to UBS”

    and

Stephen A. Schwarzman, the Chairman, CEO, and Co-founder of Blackstone Group, is a Bush Pioneer (see Bush’s Rangers) having raised at least $100,000 for Bush in the 2004 presidential election

It’s not rocket science to ferret out the western press’ premier prostitute for pushing pseudo-science on global warming (the Daily Mail) would ultimately tie to some of the nastiest corporate personalities to be found anywhere. It follows, the Daily Mail cannot be trusted to report objectively on anything, let alone Vladimir Putin.

  111. Ronald, I would like to share with you one very interesting story I heard from a friend who knows someone mid-level in the Russian establishment.

The essence of the story is that it was Yeltsin personally who hand-picked Putin for his replacement, and even knowing what Putin would do. This would suggest that Yeltsin knew that his wife’s buddies (the network of Russian and US Jewish oligarchs) were making a fool of him, delivering him an endless supply of vodka to keep him drunk as long as possible (like a constant temptation to a known drunkard) whilst they were looting Russia. Thus, he found and chose Putin, because he knew that his wife’s buddies would run Russia into the ground if they continued ruling it after his death. It was like a final act of defiance and revenge of a sick and dying man towards those who were taking so much advantage of him during eight years of his drunken presidency.

One fact which points towards this story is how much gratitude Putin and his team feel towards Yeltsin, whilst the Russian population is now even more against Yeltsin than before: https://www.rt.com/politics/330845-most-russians-see-yeltsin-legacy/.

A wonderful illustration of how bad things were for Russia at that time is that before the US started bombing Yugoslavia, the US guys promised Viktor Chernomyrdin Yelstin’s position, which Putin got later, in return for shafting the Serbian President Milosevic. It is not unusual that US promises the Russian Presidency to someone, then that Chernomyrdin actually believed this and did everything as he was told to do. This says that the US ziocons were in virtually complete control of Russia (most of all the Russian MSM), but they somehow let this slip into the hands of the Russian nationalists lead by Putin. Apparently, Yeltsin heard of this promise through FSB, saw what Chernomyrdin did to Milosevic and Yugoslavia, and decided to act. The rest is history.

  112. The crucial time was before that, with the default of 1998 and the sacking of Nemtsov, the designated US puppet successor. At that time there was a consolidation of the political system and it was clear that whoever came next would offer a change of course.

  113. Any story of how Putin came to power is a bit of a simplification, including mine above. There is no doubt that every Russian person knew that Russia could not go on as it did under Yeltsin – those are the conditions that you mention. For example, a high school professor was earning US$4 per month under the pro-Western “reformers”. But, likewise, almost anything could have happened in the fluid situation just before and after Yeltsin’s death. Therefore, I am not sure that the change over was so well planned and structured as you imply:

At that time there was a consolidation of the political system and it was clear that whoever came next would offer a change of course.

A secret coup would have been much more likely as means of your “consolidation”. In any case, the US Ziocons cannot regret enough that Russia slipped out of their hot little hands. They probably have a fairly good version of the events themselves, but they are not telling it either. Somebody stuffed up big time and deserves a raspberry almost as big as Gorbachev’s, for losing the biggest and the juiciest piece of real-estate on the planet.

But have no doubt that the dream of a replay is still alive.

  114. I am a little puzzled. You say the Daily Mail is “pushing the pseudo-science on global warming.” Do you mean by “pseudo science” the actual AGW (“Anthropogenic Global Warming”) or the arguments against AGW? If you think AGW is “settled science,” then why was it necessary a few years back to relabel “global warming” as “climate change”? Who has ever argued that, in the 4-1/2 billion age of planet Earth, that the climate hasn’t changed numerous times, including many times long before man became a significant factor on planet Earth, starting a few hundred years ago with the Industrial Revolution? If AGW is real, what exactly caused that massive ice sheet 1-2 miles thick that used to cover the middle of the upper mid-west of the U.S. and most of Canada to melt 10,000 years ago? I don’t think you are doing your cause any good by blindingly embracing a dubious theory like man-made global warming.

  115. I am glad you pointed out Gorbachev’s role in all this.
Sadly, developments leading to 1998 and such started much earlier, and started with Gorby.

USSR could not go on forever under its economic model, but the sudden and catastrophic dismantling was criminal. USSR could have been unwound in a more orderly fashion without giving up so much and giving so much to the Neocon criminals.

What kind of an idiot would believe a “promise” that NATO would not expand Eastward, if Moscow withdrew from East Europe ? Why not make sure with facts on the ground ?

Don’t know if Gorbachev was a deep agent, or simply grossly incompetent, but his actions harmed millions of innocent former citizens of USSR.

  116. Ice age cycles (waxing and waning) were steady (constant.) The most recent studies suggest the development of widespread agriculture has already slowed the cycle of what is a delicate balance.

The idea we (humans) could, on top of altering the forested state (with agriculture), unlock incredible amounts of Co2 which natural processes had buried and expect no consequence or altering the natural order, is hardly a unique form of denial…

  117. That was certainly a complex circumstance of flux very much taken advantage of by the western powers. But in such multifaceted events, we (speaking of my indigenous cultural roots) have a proverb that is practically a law to live life by: “No one can know what to expect” (more literally translates ‘I don’t know anything’ but prone to misconstrued by western mentality.)

Your story of Yeltsen/Putin typifies this native perception of hubris and its consequence (in this case of a story that could be called ‘how the west was overthrown’ by unforeseen consequence of its own acts)
