Ava Carlyle Vernier, her own self. Eight pounds seven ounces, all systems go. A major advance in biology. The evolutionary progression: Al Sharpton, the Great Apes, Neanderthals, Cro-Magnons, Ava Carlyle. Estimated IQ: Low four figures. Nobility: Obvious. Does not look like every baby ever born. If respiratory capacity may be judged by volume of outraged squalling, she may have the best lungs on the planet. (“Where is this? I don’t like it. I’m hungry. Put me back. Give me something to eat. Los Angeles–Back from Cedars Sinai Medical Center, which has ushered into this veil of whatever it is a veil of the world’s most advanced and meritorious granddaughter, the only credible evidence for Darwin. Helluva baby. A military-minded friend said I should regard her as “a howitzer round fired eighty-five years down-range.” See below for specifications.

Meanwhile I have been studying the Latino population of Los Angeles, something I have wanted to do for some time. Ever since the US set about merging with Mexico, I have wondered: Are Latinos going to form a separate country within the country, hostile to the white population? If so, God help us. Are truculent whites going to force them into said status? If so, also God help us. Or, since they are not going to go away, is amicable accommodation possible? To investigate these vexing matters, I and Violeta (my spousal unit)–spent many hours over two weeks walking the streets of Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, East LA, and the like.

I had forgotten how much I liked California. The relaxed open friendliness appeals. Things work, it is usually warm, and nobody seems upset about anything. You could get used to it.

Anyway, profound anthropological observations: Anglos (which here means all whites) and Latinos get along well, apparently without much noticing that they are Latinos and Anglos. Browns work in stores, restaurants, drive cabs and trucks and do the ordinary things of life. No one seemed to think this curious. I saw no trace of wariness or resentment. (If you live in southern California this will sound hopelessly naive, but I haven’t been here much since hippy days.) There is no Knockout Game. Shoe stores rest comfortably by night.

This easy association may not exist in Arizona or Kentucky where the people are different. A friend in Winchester, Virginia tells me that Latino students in the high school do not get along well at all with the circumambient Anglos. California is not Winchester.

A space ship coming home. What Ava’s dad makes. Photo from SpaceX.

A space ship coming home. What Ava’s dad makes. Photo from SpaceX.

Now, spaceships. We must never forget spaceships. Ava Carlyle’s dad, Alex, makes them at SpaceX in Hawthorne. It is the kind of thing you would expect of the father of such an advanced life-form as Ava Carlyle. Think Lara, Jor-El, and Ava. Anyway, we got Alex to give us a private tour. SpaceX doesn’t allow photos or the taking of notes and says don’t talk about what you see, so I won’t, other than to say “Hooooo-aaah!” It was nice to see that at least some young Americans can do difficult things right despite the best efforts of the schools.

I noticed a lot of Latino techs, one of whom was named Jesús, pronounced in Spanish approximately Hey Zeus. Many of his coworkers pronounce it Anglo style, Jeez Us. I imagined conversations at the local bar, “Yeah, I was at work, and Jesus told me….”

We saw Cici, I will call her, a high-school classmate of Violeta. Now a citizen, at age eighteen she entered the US illegally along with about twenty young men (men being the criminal sex, young the criminal age) in harrowing fashion. She managed to get a job in a shoe factory, rose to be supervisor, dropped out to get married and make two babies, then got on as kitchen staff at a school and, taking English classes at night, and rose to be head of food management. Very middle class. Worse things have happened.

Over lunch I asked her whether there was friction between white and brown. “No.” This confirmed my observations and those of friends who live in LA and, for that matter, many other places. How about problems between Latinos and the police? “No,” she said, then added that the gangs and narcos had problems but, she said, that was because they were criminals, not because they were brown.

As in almost everywhere, the Mexican cartels are neck-deep in the drug trade and spend much time shooting each other. This is unlikely to change. America has a voracious appetite for drugs and somebody is going to service it.

The politics of the immigrants get complicated. Cici has no objection to illegals, since she was one, but she has strong opinions about those Hispanics, of which there are too many, who come to live on welfare. “I work and pay taxes to support them while they do nothing?” Of course, a country stupid enough to support freeloaders is not in a position to complain that it is supporting freeloaders.

Then there are the well-employed Latinos who oppose immigration because the newcomers will take their jobs at lower wages. Where have I heard that before?

I concluded, for what it’s worth: If you figure that since the Latinos are not going to go away whether you want them to or not, it is a good idea to have them be part of society, then LA is promising. If you detest Latinos and want to get rid of them, or to avoid mixing, LA is bad, because the Latinos are not being suitably intolerable. Mass deportations would require a lot of political support. Ain’t gonna happen.

And a real problem for racial purists is the hypothetical but common Anna Gonzalez, aged nineteen, born of illegal parents in LA and therefore a citizen. Anna speaks unaccented Californian English as well as Spanish. Or, increasingly, wretched Spanish. She works at the International Foods Market as a sales clerk. She is pretty. (Hey, I’m a guy, and anyway it has assimilational import). She doesn’t think she is a Mexican. Mexicans don’t think she is a Mexican. Because she isn’t. There are more of her every year.

The time for preventing Mexicanization of the state is long past, methinks. We can want to expel Latinos, or say we should have, but as a practical matter we are not going to throw out American citizens who sound like us.

The proud mother, Emily Anne, age seven. If you feed them all sorts of curious things happen, such as Ava Carlyle. The above wasn’t child-abuse: She has a solid top-belay and the wall is indoors. She actually got over the overhang.

The proud mother, Emily Anne, age seven. If you feed them all sorts of curious things happen, such as Ava Carlyle. The above wasn’t child-abuse: She has a solid top-belay and the wall is indoors. She actually got over the overhang.

Ava’s mom was instrumental in our demographic studies. Very short and very pregnant, she looked, said her friends, like a wrecking ball on sticks, bur nonetheless drove us around in her Jeep, a huge monster. She says it is like driving a pit bull. I suggested she use it to hunt Vovlos, and crush them.

ORDER IT NOW

We went to East LA, a huge and almost entirely Hispanic enclave, and walked for hours. I had been lectured by various nativist websites that Latinos throw trash everywhere, which they do not in Mexico, so I was interested to see whether they did in LA as claimed. Yes, they do. Both Eastlos and Van Nuys are liberally strewn. Why in LA and not in Guadalajara, I don’t know. Maybe the strewers are Central American, or maybe the illegals are dirtballs.

I wondered whether there would be more hostility when Latinos were in overwhelming numbers, as they are in East LA. No. In los callejones, the alleys, we found narrow streets lined with stalls selling clothes, toys, boom boxes, sloes. Dense throngs moved through, music came from countless stereos, children held their parents’ hands, and all was sound and color and life. Infrequent gringos or couples flowed along with the current, and no one seemed to care. Don’t try it in Detroit, amigos.

Conservatives are often horrified by this sort of thing, though I am not sure how walking through a crowded alley and buying toys for the kids portends the end of civilization.

The cultural difference is real. Americans are Nordic, efficient and good at space ships. They invent things. They are not good at flavor, flair, liveliness, and are usually described as chilly and distant. Norway doesn’t do flamenco. Yet there is a distinction between intolerable cultural differences, such as looting malls or not letting girls go to school, and differences that are merely differences, unfamiliar, or annoying, like listening to loud mariachi music too late at night.

So where are these people heading? Into the middle class, most of them, eventually, is my guess. It will be rocky at times. They aren’t studious and government wants to turn them into welfare parasites or impose damn-fool things like bilingual education. Immigration wasn’t a great idea in the first place, and wasn’t necessary, but what is happening, at least in many places, is a hell of a lot better than what could have happened.

Of course I was wrong once, back in 1927 I think it was, and maybe I’m due now.

And now off to help satiate a small localized famine. The kid grows like an unnecessary federal program. A most promising howitzer round.

Well, my take on mass Mestizo Hispanic immigration to Anglo-America is just a tad more negative. Some key facts to bear in mind:

“Raven’s Standard Progressive Matrices test was administered to a representative sample of 920 white, Mestizo and Native Mexican Indian children aged 7–10 years in Mexico. The mean IQs in relation to a British mean of 100 obtained from the 1979 British standardization sample and adjusted for the estimated subsequent increase were: 98·0 for whites, 94·3 for Mestizos and 83·3 for Native Mexican Indians.”

    http://journals.cambridge.org/action/displayAbstract?fromPage=online&aid=266611

And then let’s compare this to the racial composition of Mexico:

    98.0: Mexican Whites
    94.3:Mexican Mestizos
    83.3: Mexican Amerinds

According to the CIA FACTBOOK, Mexico’s racial breakdown is:Mestizo (Amerindian-Spanish) 60%, Amerindian or predominantly Amerindian 30%, white 9%, other 1%

Things are not looking good Mexico way…..

Now, let’s turn to real world achievements.Mexico and the Nobel prize. According to WIKIPEDIA, three people of Mexican origins have won a Nobel:

Alfonso García Robles: With Alva Myrdal, got the Peace Prize in 1982. For what it’s worth, he looks very White in his WIKIPEDIA photo.

Mario J. Molina: Along with Paul J. Crutzen and F. Sherwood Rowland, he got the 1995 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for studying the threat posed to the ozone layer by CFCs. Looks pretty White in his WIKIPEDIA photo.

Octavio Paz: 1990 Nobel in Lit. Based on the WIKIPEDIA photo, he might have some Amerind ancestry (or he might not).

So, Three prizes. Total. As compared to 10 for Scotland, 15 for Australia, 23 for Canada, 74 for England , 306 for the USA, …..

Now, all of these figures are from WIKIPEDIA, so I’m sure that one could argue about the margins…but the overall portrait of Mexican achievement is pretty dire.

    How about Fields Medalists?:

    United States 12

    France 10

    Soviet Union (3) / Russia (6) 9

    United Kingdom 7

    Japan 3
    Belgium 2

    West Germany (1) / Germany (0) 1

    Australia 1

    British Hong Kong 1

    Finland 1

    Israel 1

    Italy 1

    Norway 1

    New Zealand 1

    Sweden 1

    Vietnam 1

    Iran 1

    Brazil 1

    (None Stateless) 1

I’ve left out Manjul Bhargava. His background is complicated.

So, Mexico has zero.Hell, all of Latin America has exactly one, which ties them with New Zealand.

Race creates the foundation upon which culture is built.Mexico’s racial mix produces mediocrity. In contrast, Anglo-America’s overwhelming European racial stock allowed her to thrive.Mass immigration by Hispanic Amerinds and Mestizos is changing that.Soon, Anglo-America will be as mediocre as Mexico.

Those tests proof the ability to make rockets and for that matter to win nobel prizes, but i doubt that they may probe into some other human qualities that are perhaps more important for a humanistic civilization. Besides, take into account that an important part (number wise at least) of modern men consider reasoning an obstacle to grasp reality.
In other words , not necesarily you are better because you are more intelligent (in the sense of Raven`s test), in the same way that you are not better because you are prettier.

....I think it must be the Indigenous / Indian version of Mexican that tends to litter. If you DRIVE to Rocky Point Mexico you'll see it. Thats extreme north of Mexico. Towards the south where it's more organized I'm going to guess more Caucasian genetics.

About sending the illegals back.......if businesses are heavily fined and they can not find work they will deport themselves. So it's quite possible. Just make it unprofitable to hire them.

My take is this: SOME immigration is ok but we have an invasion occurring. Also those that come here illegally are profoundly rude and not showing the frontal lobe impulse control that the more intelligent of the world display. Correlates pretty well with the IQ surveys. It's my experience by and large the ones you would WANT to immigrate to your country are the ones that do it legally.

As for Hispanic IQ in the USA, things are not looking good. According to a 2001 meta-analysis of Hispanic IQ in the USA, the gap between Anglo-European and Hispanic IQ in the USA is 10.8 points. Since the American Anglo-European mean IQ is 100, that means that the Hispanic American mean is (rounding off to whole numbers) 89….

  4. When someone says something will never happen, it means he never wishes for it to happen.

Despite his fundamental soundness on the black question, Fred Reed is willing to throw America under the bus for hispanics.

Almost certainly this is because he married a Mexican woman with children by a Mexican man. The willing and enthusiastic cuckold wishes to same fate for America that he himself has chosen.

I agree that race relations between “hispanics” and whites are basically fine (was just in LA myself), but this isn’t an endorsement of allowing them to settle here. Their civilization is fundamentally inferior to ours, and despite Fred’s wild efforts to show otherwise, mestizos aren’t terribly bright (or attractive).

I happen to like Mexicans but I’d rather meet them in Mexico than LA. Van Nuys High School is where Robert Redford and Don Drysdale played baseball together. Not a lot of men of that caliber from that school these days.

I don't understand why you think it necessary to throw in a gratuitous insult. Fred's "fate" reflects well on him and obviously gives him great happiness. If this is relevant to the profound issues of illegal immigration and the demographic changes that have been foisted on us by sellout politicians, I'm not seeing how exactly.

Those who arrived and their progeny mostly think it was a great idea, then and now.Whether the spaceships, which are indistinguishable from missiles, really turn out to be such a good idea remains to be seen. Hello to all uneducated bunch here.
I recently returned from a trip to Mexico, way down in the state of Jalisco, (Mexico also has states like us, for those of you who don’t know this). Well, I met several ‘Americans’ I mean those you guys call Nordics. I established a conversation with them and asked them if they were coming back to the US. In a chorus they answered, ‘you can't pay me enough to go back!” ... then I realized how ignorant, i.e. lack of knowledge are most untraveled people. I guess most still think of Mexico with donkeys all over, unpaved roads and starving populace. Mexico is one of the most advanced countries and in the top 15th list of richest countries in the world. While there, I asked people about their credit cards, debt, well, none had either. Then I remember all my friends here, in debt up to their necks, and living in borrowed money constantly. So, I understood my fellow Americans, who no one can pay them enough to come back, and did not blame them. Their electric bill was 5 dollars a month, and their water bill, about 17 dollars every four months! Can you blame them?

Thanks for your willful display of ignorance. Mexico does do Banda, but it does so much more than that, including Flamenco.

For the millionth time, the problem is ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. Why is it that the pro-immigrant crowd tries to lump the illegals in with the legals. Build a wall, enforce E-Verify, and everything will be okay. We’ll still have our disputes about the number and the country of origin, but immigrants will then be able to assimilate. The US doesn’t have unlimited resources and until we get control of the millions who enter our country illegally, we risk falling into the 2nd, if not 3rd world.

The reason they lump all immigrants into one box is very simple - they do not want anybody to come in as an immigrant (MY country!) even tho very few were here since the 1600's - but they especially do not want anyone who's skin has even the slightest tinge of brown - they won't say that, but that is what they mean. This skin-color thing is such a strange fetish - then they all go to the beach and run around trying to get sun-tanned - ah but that is different !
That comment aside you are correct that E-Verify & a strict send-back policy are the only way to control the numbers. Letting it get to the current numbers is lunacy.

For the millionth time, the problem is ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. Why is it that the pro-immigrant crowd tries to lump the illegals in with the legals. Build a wall, enforce E-Verify, and everything will be okay. We'll still have our disputes about the number and the country of origin, but immigrants will then be able to assimilate. The US doesn't have unlimited resources and until we get control of the millions who enter our country illegally, we risk falling into the 2nd, if not 3rd world.

Legal guest-worker programs are worse than illegal immigration.

Be advised that Mexicans were in the South West of the US WAYYYYYYY! before so called 'nordics' arrived! So it fallows that you are going to meet them in about 1/3 of the USA where they are natives, from several generations ago;.. just saying. So technically speaking, they were 'Americans' before your immigrant parents. JUST SAYING.

I agree that race relations between "hispanics" and whites are basically fine (was just in LA myself), but this isn't an endorsement of allowing them to settle here. Their civilization is fundamentally inferior to ours, and despite Fred's wild efforts to show otherwise, mestizos aren't terribly bright (or attractive).

I happen to like Mexicans but I'd rather meet them in Mexico than LA. Van Nuys High School is where Robert Redford and Don Drysdale played baseball together. Not a lot of men of that caliber from that school these days.

In many European countries however, this idea of neighborhoods filled with non-whites, high crime and low employment – is something foreign – something we didn’t used to have. Now they spring up around every major European city.

Or erosion of societal trust. In most European countries (and this is probably true for American smaller cities too) crime was incredibly low, combined with a high level of trust between citizens. Things like respect for nature, paying taxes and contributing, helping to restore local history, etc. That sort of grassroot mentality will also disappear if more and more people are not only strangers, but come from diametrically different backgrounds.
I don’t think people quite appreciate what a remarkable exception Western societies are, in millennia-old history of every man for himself and violence-trumps-all.

If you raise another man's children you're a cuckold, period. No sex fetish need be involved.

And the welfare state is simply cuckoldry organized on a grand scale.

Fred's a cuck for Mexicans, and he's projecting onto America as a whole so we can all be as cucked as he is.

Not that I intend to stop reading Fred--he's a great writer and basically sound on everything besides hispanics.

    cuck·old
    /ˈkəkəld/

    noun
    1. the husband of an adulteress, often regarded as an object of derision.

    verb
    1. (of a man) make (another man) a cuckold by having a sexual relationship with his wife.

Fred does not fulfill either definition. Your use of the word is a malapropism.

Fred is a journalist in the truest sense of the word, he’s an astute observer, well spoken, and above all, he’s honest in writing his opinions.

On his website you could spend a day reading his police chronicle columns from days when he rode with the police through the ghettos and slums during investigations of murder, rape, and mayhem, often finding some hidden gem of insight to report or remark on as a counterpoint to the sorrow and despair he witnessed.

You can read his past military columns and read his commentary on the depravity and vapid lifestyle of the Washington DC literati set from Fred’s more staid and proper life as a newspaper man punching a clock. I like reading Fred’s stuff. Like many commentators on Unz.com, there is often an interesting thread or point of departure found in his thinking.

Again, Fred is the quintessential journalist, and a journalist writes about how things affect him; a journalist’s writing is part art but also catharsis, they write to externalize and interpret their understanding of events.

Why then does Fred write so glowingly about Mexico, Mexicans, and Hispanic culture? I would bet that it’s because he’s happy, and in a relationship with a wonderful woman that happens to be Mexican. Fred, out and about in the company of his Mexican wife, affords him insight and privilege into Hispanic culture and behavior that’s not open to Gringo’s. He’s happy and it shows in his writing. Good for him and I wish the same happiness for the rest of us.

Like others, I prefer reading the caustic, aggressive, and curmudgeon Fred, but you’ve got to give the guy a break at least once in a while and let him express his happier side.

No but importing people who are not equipped to survive without government transfer payments let alone contribute in a significant way doesn’t make a lot of sense when you already have enough of you own.

I love you Fred but I don't think hoards of illegal aliens or even hoards of legal aliens are a good idea for the US.

I notice that other races are fond of putting forward their race first and it's celebrated yet when Whites do it's racist. I guess I'm just a racist.

    Dear Sam:

Be advised that Mexicans were in the South West of the US WAYYYYYYY! before so called ‘nordics’ arrived! So it fallows that you are going to meet them in about 1/3 of the USA where they are natives, from several generations ago;.. just saying. These 'Mexicans' immigrants (Meso-Americans) are descendants of the Aztecs, Mayans and Zapotecs (among others), most of whom never set foot north of the Rio Grande. Just ask the Apache and Navajo. They'll splain it to ya.

The Mexican-American war (that 'stole' Mexico) was a fight between two imperial, European-derived powers. White-ruled Mexico didn't have any more right to this land than the gringos who created the United States of America.

Today's dark-skinned, Mexican nationals who are now swamping America are late-comers, fleeing a poor, corrupt, and disorganized country that was invented by (and is still dominated by) people whose ancestors hail from Western Europe (Spain).

That still begs the question why so many are leaving Mexico for America ?

    Mr. Neutral:

I believe that if those persons (Nordics) begging for a handout in the entrance to Interstate 10 here in Arizona were bombarded with movies showing the glamour of such and such place, and assisted to move to such place, heck yeah! they will move over and try their luck! What I am saying is that the people in Mexico are bombarded with American movies, shows, etc. glamorizing our way of life! I imagine that the case of so close a Country, well, its tempting. I am not saying that it is right or wrong, I am just saying that it could be the ease to move over. If we were making 3 dls a day, and CANADA’s wages were lets say 16 dls an hour, just imagine the temptation to move over, and or cross the border to get a job in Canada! well…

All my respect to Fred, who seems like a genuinely sympathetic guy. But I've seen his kind before. Either they've become too old to actually care (since let's face it, they'll be dead long before the effects really kick in), or they never got the problem of today's migration in the first place.

Or maybe I just got this all wrong since I am European and not American. I mean you guys already have pretty bad ghettos, so having a few more won't really matter, or? In many European countries however, this idea of neighborhoods filled with non-whites, high crime and low employment - is something foreign - something we didn't used to have.

I don't think people quite appreciate what a remarkable exception Western societies are, in millennia-old history of every man for himself and violence-trumps-all.

Could go on all day, but I'm just going to end it with saying that as much as I think Fred would be a great guy to have a beer with, his writings on these topics just come across as uninformed and anecdotal at best.

Right, and why would anyone in their right mind seek to make MORE cities' crime and unemployment levels rise to the like of Naples? Surely the right idea would be to make political decisions for that to NOT happen (which means restricting immigration). That is my point, not to come here and brag about Europe.
Regardless of your personal experiences with Austria or Slovenia, or young Europeans - reality is US cities are more violent, have greater levels of segregation with poor, failed neighborhoods than the average European city. With increasing immigration however, Europe will inevitably catch up, like the previous poster said, we are becoming Americanized.

Right. And Mexicans are not fleeing Mexico and flooding into the US.

Go to San Diego, have a look around. Then take the very short drive across the border into Tijuana, have a look around.

    Case closed.

Of course you're mistaken. The dark skinned Mexican nationals are not new comers. The Mexican nationals of dark skins were settling the US Southwest long (LONG) before the Nordics got there.

Ulysses S Grant said of the US War with Mexico that it was "one of the most unjust ever waged by a stronger against a weaker nation. It was an instance of a republic following the bad example of European monarchies, in not considering justice in their desire to acquire additional territory."

When's the last time you ever interacted with a Navajo or an Apache? Many Navajos and Apache would ask you the same question in Spanish.

California has NAEP scores just barely above Lousiana's. It's poverty rate is the highest in the nation when housing prices are properly accounted for. Its roads are the third worse in the nation after the obviously geography challenged Hawaii and Alaska. It is among the top states in new incidences of tuberculosis. It doesn't even produce its own 'wonderkinds' anymore; the Google guys weren't from Silicon Valley, Jobs and Woz were.

Even the supposed 'peace' is fragile -- just look at events out in Murietta last year, or the kids up in San Jose that wanted to where American flag apparel on cinco de mayo. The only 'peace' is the peace of defeat of Anglos.

“It’s poverty rate…” Change to “Its poverty rate”.
“…the third worse in the nation…” Change to “…the third worst in the nation…”
“wonderkinds”. Change to “wunderkinds” (the original German is “Wunderkinder”).

Whatever you interpret is irrelevant, I hold no such beliefs.
I do however know that right now, there exists a very real difference in peace and prosperity between western and non-western countries - which in turn drives people to migrate accordingly. Perhaps one day their nations will be as peaceful and prosperous, but in the meantime I don't think it's sensible to degrade the future of me or my children when it's empirically obvious that mass immigration raises crime, instability, etc.

Lol is Japan a western country?

Castañeda has nothing to do with this argumentation. I could also attach some controversial literary or historical personage to your points of view, but then I wouldn´t be arguing but demeaning and labelling your ideas at my pleasure. I suppose this ends the discussion.

Sure, there are more academically" respectable" proponents of irrationalism, but I'm afraid that I prefer thinkers like Hume. It's the Anglo in me.

I don’t understand why you think it necessary to throw in a gratuitous insult. Fred’s “fate” reflects well on him and obviously gives him great happiness. If this is relevant to the profound issues of illegal immigration and the demographic changes that have been foisted on us by sellout politicians, I’m not seeing how exactly.

Fred is an outright race traitor who turned his back on his nation in favor of a third world garbage pit. What the turncoat is doing is simple: attempting to soften the image of Mexican invaders to Americans.
Fred is a subversive, Mexico can have him, we sure as hell don't need him here.

No. Fred is acting like a free man who can choose to live where he wishes. It’s simple. What choices a man makes to enjoy life to the fullest are personal choices and betray no one. He’s not forcing anyone else to make the same choices.

And when these Americans get in a jam, they’ll be crying for the American Consul. And what will they do when they’re no longer getting money from home?

I do like the guy who keeps my lawn looking good! So what is the deal? he needs the job, and I do need my lawn to look good. Works both ways I guess.

As your argument states, then we indeed needed to invade Mexico, and not Iraq, remove the corrupt government in Mexico, and leave. Problem solved..

Your lawn guy also keeps his primos informed about the comings and goings in the Gringo’s neighborhood. You don’t think that burglars just pop into White neighborhoods randomly, do you?

I grew up in a mostly White, working class part of Los Angeles, in the San Fernando Valley. The houses on my old street are fitted with steel doors, bars on the windows, and have security fences. My old high school is now 80% Mexican, and graduates about a third of the 9th graders who enter. This is not an improvement. Mexicans do not have the stupid hatred for Whites that Blacks do, and I can walk around during the day freely. But they are still a blight.

One thing I’ve noticed is that when a white man or woman begins dating or marries a non-white they become an advocate of the race of their significant other while the non-white retains their racial loyalty. Fred is no exception to this general observation with his endless cheerleading for and promotion of, Latinos.

To be sure, racial problems between whites and Latinos are fewer and less toxic than between white and black, but Latinos are not white and never will be no matter how much Fred claims to the contrary and their presence has brought problems to America that heretofore did not exist. This can be proven using empirical and anecdotal evidence. Generally speaking, wherever Latinos settle in large numbers crime goes up, drugs and gangs appear on the scene, and the quality of life goes down for the hapless white people living in close proximity. And it feels a little more like Mexico and a little less like America.

One look at Mexico and Central America and the USA, Canada and various European countries and it’s obvious Mestizo/Latino DNA does not create nations on par with most white nations. But Freddy is free to keep his rose colored glasses on and dispense with critical thinking on this subject.

This way of thinking probably existed 165 years ago when Puritans or "Know Nothings" first started dating immigrant Irish gals or Italians.

The biggest reason why a "non-white" would maintain any "racial loyalty" is for safety from the bigoted white folks like yourself.

The reason they lump all immigrants into one box is very simple – they do not want anybody to come in as an immigrant (MY country!) even tho very few were here since the 1600′s – but they especially do not want anyone who’s skin has even the slightest tinge of brown – they won’t say that, but that is what they mean. This skin-color thing is such a strange fetish – then they all go to the beach and run around trying to get sun-tanned – ah but that is different !
That comment aside you are correct that E-Verify & a strict send-back policy are the only way to control the numbers. Letting it get to the current numbers is lunacy.

    "Norway doesn’t do flamenco."

Neither does Mexico, it does banda, loud, simple, polka-derived without the joy or virtuosity of the original.

It's strange that someone could live in Mexico and not realize this. Perhaps his other observations are as oblivious.

Thanks for your willful display of ignorance. Mexico does do Banda, but it does so much more than that, including Flamenco.

You are wrong to claim that Mexicans were in the 'South West" (Southwest) way before us Nordics (Euro-Americans) arrived.

Interestingly, these 'undocumented immigrants' still want desperately to live near the gringo. Why? They get richer this way. Ole!

Of course you’re mistaken. The dark skinned Mexican nationals are not new comers. The Mexican nationals of dark skins were settling the US Southwest long (LONG) before the Nordics got there.

Ulysses S Grant said of the US War with Mexico that it was “one of the most unjust ever waged by a stronger against a weaker nation. It was an instance of a republic following the bad example of European monarchies, in not considering justice in their desire to acquire additional territory.”

When’s the last time you ever interacted with a Navajo or an Apache? Many Navajos and Apache would ask you the same question in Spanish.

    Ole yourself.
