During its interview with the three ex-friends of purported U. of Virginia fraternity gang rape victim Jackie, CNN briefly flashed onscreen at the 5:06 mark the "glitch in The Matrix" email. This is the one that friendzone friend Ryan (a.k.a., "Randall") received from Jackie's mysterious dream date / gang rape organizer Haven Monahan five days...
  • […] still doesn’t make Ryan fall in love with her, she switches back to having Haven send Ryan an email explaining why Ryan should fall in love with Jackie, cribbed from Dawson’s Creek and other […]

  • […] The same is true of feminism, an anti-democratic totalitarian movement that is no less fanatically committed to the destruction of Western civilization than was Hitler himself. No matter how fluently feminists may speak the language of democracy, their campaigns to silence opposition betray their totalitarian purposes, and it is not difficult to find evidence of their limitless appetite for conquest. Women are now 33% more likely than men to earn four-year college degrees, but has this de facto female supremacy in academia put an end to feminist demands? Of course not. Instead, we find feminists claiming (despite all evidence to the contrary) that women are experiencing a “rape epidemic” on college campuses, manufacturing phony statistics to support their anti-male propaganda, and perpetrating the Rolling Stone gang-rape hoax at the University of Virginia — feminism’s very own “Reichstag fire,” with the role of Marinus van der Lubbe played by “Haven Monahan.” […]

How does that tie into the murder of Emmitt Till? The only thing he was accused of doing was whistling at a white woman.

    No.

That was the account given by the same media that lied about Crystal Mangum, Trayvon, and everything else. There's no reason to believe that story.

I mean, there’s no reason to believe the official story about what Till did. Obviously, his dead body was found, and Bryant confessed to killing him.

How does that tie into the murder of Emmitt Till? The only thing he was accused of doing was whistling at a white woman. And his murder was very deliberately carried out.

Incidentally, Till's father's fate was immortalized in Ezra Pound's "Pisan Cantos" part of which were written while in his "cage" in Pisa when imprisoned after WW2. Apparently Till, Sr. was in a nearby cage, and they talked frequently. "Till was hanged today for rape with all the trimmings" is the quote from the Cantos but there is significant dialect in the Cantos which make me think of Till, Sr.

    @iSteveFan

You seem to have a very limited, good vs evil type of understanding of WWII.

Can you comprehend the destruction and damage done to the Soviets? The USA has had perhaps 2 million killed in war from 1776 to the present, i.e. 238 years. The Soviets lost over 20 million in 4 years. There was no way they were not going to go medieval on Germany. The Germans sealed their fate the way they conducted the war. It's not nice, it's not moral, but you don't wage a war of annihilation against an opponent, causing astronomical deaths, and expect them to treat you humanely when you lose.

I have a very good understanding of the damage, and the number of deaths and casualties were larger than the Soviets ever admitted.

Frankly, the Germans killed more Russians than they lost on their side, and they were vastly superior despite going into the war with nominally inferior equipment.

It is also likely that the Soviets themselves were responsible for more deaths than the Germans.

I am also aware that these days the Germans are pussies, and that the Russians are more capable than propagandists give them credit for.

I’m not German, and I didn’t fight in that war, so it’s not really about what I expect my enemies to do. It’s more about not buying that you can make a civilized population do what the Russians/Soviets did. There’s a lot of distance between that and treating people humanely.

"The next level is failed expectations. She thought she was valued … or loved … or something when she consented to sex. This did not turn out to be the case; he was a liar, the cur. Therefore, she did not have informed consent."

Victorian England had lots of civil lawsuits about failed engagements on roughly these lines. "The French Lieutenant's Woman" was a big bestseller 40 years ago and a Meryl Streep movie 30 years ago.

“Victorian England had lots of civil lawsuits about failed engagements on roughly these lines.”

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breach_of_promise

Lots of folk songs on the subject too, like ‘The Blacksmith” and “Blackwaterside”.

“What did you promise me, when you lay beside me
You said you’d marry me, and not deny me.
If I said I’d marry you, ’twas only to try you,
So bring your witness, love, and I’ll not deny you.

Oh witness have I none, save God almighty,
And may he reward you well, for the slighting of me !”

On mass rape, the British troops at Badajoz in 1812 ran amok after sustaining heavy casualties in taking the city from Napoleon’s troops. The Spanish victims were Britain’s allies.

    http://ukcommentators.blogspot.co.uk/2007/10/badajoz.html

“Men, women and children were shot in the streets for no other apparent reason than pastime; every species of outrage was publicly committed in the houses, churches and streets, and in a manner so brutal that a faithful recital would be too indecent and too shocking for humanity. Not the slightest shadow of order or discipline was maintained; the officers durst not interfere. The infuriated soldiery resembled rather a pack of hell-hounds vomited up from the infernal regions for the extirpation of mankind than what they were twelve short hours previously – a well-organised, brave, disciplined and obedient British army, and burning only with impatience for what is called glory.”

  • I think we can all agree that the insidious propaganda machine can be forgiven, in light of all the beneficial discussion it has provided. However, words cannot express my disappointment that Jackie forgot to mention the most crucial detail of all; it was the sight of a seemingly innocuous pinup girl shirt that drove those white boys into a hypersexual raping frenzy. The inclusion of enlightening details like this can help direct society’s attention to the roots of this problem and the white middle classes’ brutal oppression of women.

"Those are the norms. However, during wartime those norms can break down and break down savagely even in the civilized world. Others already mentioned probably the case of the greatest mass rape in recent history, which occurred during the Soviet advance into Eastern Europe and Nazi Germany (in which not only German women, but even liberated concentration camp victims were raped). Every manner of outrage was visited upon the vanquished. Even children, pregnant women, and old women were often raped repeatedly and savagely, not just by individuals, but by masses (“gangs”) of Soviet soldiery. It was common, for example, for a whole platoon or company to drag out German women and girls from buildings, violate them repeatedly and in the most vile manner in front of their menfolk – husbands, brothers, and sons – and then shoot them. There is a reason why the locals call the Soviet War Memorial in the Tiergarten in Berlin “The Tomb of the Unknown Rapist.”

Nazi Germany was a disgrace to Humanity. No wonder respectful racially aware Whites like Jared Taylor want nothing to do with "American History X" style Neo Nazi skinheads. Skinheads are the White version of the Black ghetto underclass.

Mass gang rape only occurs at a low level of civilization. The descendants of butalized Russian peasants did it; in the West, troops from the French African colonies did it. German troop didn’t, although they did things that were worse.

In the East things were grimmest in the German-speaking areas that fell to the Russians first. Some of the things that happened went far beyond rape into the grisliest kinds of sex murders. Later, in Berlin, say, it was more like the spoils of war… not necessarily hate-driven. Girls got used to it.

I've been told by Sabrina Rubin Ederley herself that 1 out of 5 women can't get a seat on a subway because a man has brutishly decided that his male privilege entitles him to 2 seats. She shows up at work too exhausted to compete with the men, must spend half her day talking it out with her female colleagues at work to heal, and loses out on promotions--just as intended.

Something obvious that I left out. Manspreading is a type a behavior deployed mostly by males (though not always) against all others, male and female. The NYT, going by the photos on their article, believes it is just white men who do this. Against white women.

Manspreading is in fact a real problem. This 20 year Brooklyn resident can tell you the offenders are most often obese and/or black (and sometimes female). How do I deal with it? I don’t like to be touched, so if it’s crowded I don’t sit. If I’m already seated and it gets crowded a glare usually suffices to prevent unwanted contact. You will need to be in good shape to take this measure. It also helps to take subway lines that are not excessively vibrant, but this, of course, all depends on where you are going.

  • You seem to have a very limited, good vs evil type of understanding of WWII.

It’s not nice, it’s not moral, but you don’t wage a war of annihilation against an opponent, causing astronomical deaths, and expect them to treat you humanely when you lose.

Many cops have signed statements demanding that DeBlasio not attend their funerals if they are killed in the line of duty. I’ll ask again, tentatively: do whites even commit gang rape?

In contemporary America? Quite rare. In other times and places, though:

    http://www.spiegel.de/international/germany/harrowing-memoir-german-woman-writes-ground-breaking-account-of-ww2-rape-a-680354-3.html

A wave of rapes and sexual violence occurred in Central Europe in 1944–45, as the Western Allies and the Red Army fought their way into the Third Reich.[7] On the territory of the Nazi Germany, it began on 21 October 1944 when troops of the Red Army crossed the bridge over the Angerapp creek (marking the border) and committed the Nemmersdorf massacre before they were beaten back a few hours later.

The majority of the assaults were committed in the Soviet occupation zone; estimates of the numbers of German women raped by Soviet soldiers ranged up to 2 million.[1][8][9][10][11] In many cases women were the victims of repeated rapes, some as many as 60 to 70 times.[12] At least 100,000 women are believed to have been raped in Berlin, based on surging abortion rates in the following months and contemporary hospital reports,[9] with an estimated 10,000 women dying in the aftermath.[13] Female deaths in connection with the rapes in Germany, overall, are estimated at 240,000.[3][14] Antony Beevor describes it as the "greatest phenomenon of mass rape in history", and has concluded that at least 1.4 million women were raped in East Prussia, Pomerania and Silesia alone.[15]

    Soviet literature[edit]
    Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn took part in the invasion of Germany, and wrote a poem about it: Prussian Nights;

“ Twenty-two Hoeringstrasse. It's not been burned, just looted, rifled. A moaning by the walls, half muffled: the mother's wounded, half alive. The little daughter's on the mattress, dead. How many have been on it? A platoon, a company perhaps? A girl's been turned into a woman, a woman turned into a corpse. . . . The mother begs, "Soldier, kill me!"[46] ”
Svetlana Alexievich published a book, War's Unwomanly Face that includes memories by Soviet veterans about their experience in Germany. According to a former army officer,

“ We were young, strong, and four years without women. So we tried to catch German women and ... Ten men raped one girl. There were not enough women; the entire population run from the Soviet Army. So we had to take young, twelve or thirteen year-old. If she cried, we put something into her mouth. We thought it was fun. Now I can not understand how I did it. A boy from a good family... But that was me.[47] ”
A woman telephone operator from the Soviet Army recalled that

“ When we occupied every town, we had first three days for looting and ... [rapes]. That was unofficial of course. But after three days one could be court-martialed for doing this. ... I remember one raped German woman laying naked, with hand grenade between her legs. Now I feel shame, but I did not feel shame back then... Do you think it was easy to forgive [the Germans]? We hated to see their clean undamaged white houses. With roses. I wanted them to suffer. I wanted to see their tears. ... Decades had to pass until I started feeling pity for them.[48]

I believe that decades ago I ran into a German woman conceived in one of those rapes by Soviet troops at the end of WWII. It was in the Canadian north. She and her husband were teachers in an Inuit village. People were telling tales about themselves in a social gathering as we so often do. She said her father was a German soldier. He was killed in 1942; she was born in 1946. [?] I found it inspirational the way that her sense of family spanned the empty years as well as the hold it had on her. I didn’t pry to confirm. Some things are better left unsaid.

    Isn't it ironic?

At the time Rolling Stone published this story, it was also bringing back Matt Taibbi after his exile with First Look Magazine.

And, while Taibbi never pledged with an Old Dixie Fraternitiy, he and his Pledge Brother of Fun, Mark Ames, openly and repeatedly reveled in some good old fashioned frat-boy high jinks from Russia with Lust.

Here's an excerpt from their book about their time as editors of eXiled. In the book, Ames and Taibbi recall sexually harassing the eXile‘s female staff:

We have been pretty rough on our girls. We’d ask our Russian staff to flash their asses or breasts for us. We’d tell them that if they wanted to keep their jobs, they’d have to perform unprotected anal sex with us. Nearly every day, we asked our female staff if they approved of anal sex. That was a fixation of ours. “Can I fuck you in the ass? Huh? I mean, without a rubber? Is that okay?” It was all part of the fun. (134)

If that's not enough, be sure to do a cursory search about Taibbi's co-author (Ames) and his rape of a 15 year old. Or the forced abortion of another. I'm sure the girls at Jezebel will love it!

Here's Ames alluding to a phenomenon that both he and Taibbi referred to as "The White God Factor":

They say they also take advantage of what they like to call the “white god factor” and make trips to the provinces. “Tens of millions of people live in dire circumstances, stranded in the center of the world’s largest continent, with little hope of going anywhere,” said Mr. Ames. “Which means–sexual opportunity for me.”

Here's the 1 star reviews of their book from Amazon. I'm highlighting the negative reviews for the simple point of emphasis that recurs throughout: 2 frat boys going wild on an overseas romp with young, vulnerable women.

I think I've got it. The issue with the feminists is not rape but informed consent. In the traditional definition, rape is repugnant because a female does not consent. The next level is informed consent. A female who has sex under the influence of alcohol or the omnipresent "date rape" drug no one can find is raped because she does provide informed consent. Her alcoholic stupor denied her being "informed", therefore, she did not provide consent; therefore she was raped.

The next level is failed expectations. She thought she was valued ... or loved ... or something when she consented to sex. This did not turn out to be the case; he was a liar, the cur. Therefore, she did not have informed consent. Yes, she consented, but her consent was not properly informed. She found that out after the fact. Regret and ignorance equals rape!

A lecture: Please, ladies. You cannot have "informed consent" on a one-night-stand; the two of you don't know each other. You cannot have "informed consent" on a one-week-stand; the two of you don't know each other well. This is a defense of traditional dating through which men and women got to know each other over many, many months. Old fashioned, perhaps, but at least it provided women enough information about their male consorts so they could be informed ... and well, with respect to this issue, they could provide well-informed consent. QED

“The next level is failed expectations. She thought she was valued … or loved … or something when she consented to sex. This did not turn out to be the case; he was a liar, the cur. Therefore, she did not have informed consent.”

On mass rape, the British troops at Badajoz in 1812 ran amok after sustaining heavy casualties in taking the city from Napoleon's troops. The Spanish victims were Britain's allies.

"Men, women and children were shot in the streets for no other apparent reason than pastime; every species of outrage was publicly committed in the houses, churches and streets, and in a manner so brutal that a faithful recital would be too indecent and too shocking for humanity. Not the slightest shadow of order or discipline was maintained; the officers durst not interfere. The infuriated soldiery resembled rather a pack of hell-hounds vomited up from the infernal regions for the extirpation of mankind than what they were twelve short hours previously - a well-organised, brave, disciplined and obedient British army, and burning only with impatience for what is called glory."

I’m sure they must happen, but, well… not very often. The public imputation to a stereotypical white group of a signature black crime seems to be pure projection.

Yes, in today’s America (and elsewhere in the first world, which is to say, Europe, North America, and East Asia), whites and East Asians commit rapes, let alone gang rapes, at extremely low rates. Rightly these are considered very heinous crimes in the civilized world. Rapes are much more common in Latin America, Africa, and South Asia. In the Middle East rapes are less common, but for different reasons than in the first world (there are few opportunities as women are heavily shielded).

Those are the norms.

Although such acts were unusual in modern warfare, for much of pre-modern history, even in the West, siege warfare was governed by different rules than field battles. Generally no quarter was given or expected in siege warfare, and for that reason alone even non-combatants (women and children) who typically were not allowed to fight on the battlefield were expected to pitch in. If a city or a town was captured, all inside, living or property, was considered forfeit and became the spoils of victory for the besiegers, who proceeded to kill, loot, and rape wantonly.

So, yes, while “palefaces” commit these outrages at extremely low rates under normal circumstances, their civilized norms can break down in extreme circumstances and they have and are capable of committing gang rapes in the most heinous manner.

  • “Rape is beyond “ungentlemanly.” Even if a defense lawyer can strip the alleged offense of its criminality, sexual assault is morally wrong. It takes more than a “brief talk on gentlemanly conduct, good manners and etiquette” to instill the values that are supposed to be their underpinning. Fraternities need to lead by example. It is not enough for them to have online modules on “personal integrity” as Phi Kappa Psi has. They need to live out those good manners and hold those accountable whose behavior violate a code of conduct or break laws.”

Then why do Universities, goaded on by feminists and rape-awareness advocates, arrogate to themselves the authority to adjudicate matters of sexual assault in their little academic star-chambers. Why, when these charges are brought to them, do they not simply and immediately refer them, as a criminal matter, to the police?

There was the New Bedford case, rapists Portuguese immigrants, who can be pretty mixed if from Cape Verde. But I never read that they were anything other than mainland Portuguese.

Not that case but this one: http://wbsm.com/two-men-charged-in-2012-rape-and-kidnapping/ Accused white portuguese.

Then there was the earlier UVA frat rape case, in which years after the fact, a man contacted the woman he had drugged and violently raped as part of the Alcoholics Anonymous "make amends" step. He said two other men raped her while she was unconscious.http://www.nbc29.com/story/6260245/fact-file-william-beebe

There was a case in NY, at a college, several white men accused of raping a black woman, actually went to trial, men found not guilty but I thought they were - the woman's story didn't set off every BS meter the way Tawana Brawley or Crystal Mangum did.

I spent more time than I should have the other day looking into this thing about the alleged gang rape of Securro. I don’t have access to the court documents, but from what I could gather from the news reports I saw, the claim that there were additional rapists beyond Beebe is not supported by any real evidence. You will note that in the timeline provided in the link you offered, this is all that is said about it:

November 14, 2006 – Beebe pleads guilty to rape charges. The state recommends he serve two years in prison. He also agrees to cooperate in the investigation into whether Seccuro was raped by other people at the frat party.

But here’s what another news report says about the outcome of this “cooperation”:

Although Beebe’s plea agreement recommended a two-year sentence, which might have allowed his parole after just a few months, Worrell [the prosecutor] asked the judge to impose a harsher sentence: 15 years, with 13 suspended. The plea, he said, was based on Beebe’s offer to help with the continuing investigation. But while Beebe readily met with prosecutors, “he wasn’t helpful,” said Worrell.

“He can’t tell things that aren’t true,” retorted Quagliana [the defense lawyer], who said Beebe has shared what he knows…

    http://www.readthehook.com/85530/news-final-sentence-aa-apologizer-gets-time

In general, nothing that Liz Securro reports about this case can be relied upon. She clearly made up things that supposedly went on the day after her incident with Beebe, where expected documentation doesn’t exist (such as her claimed report to the University Police), or her purported visit to the hospital (she said that (quite remarkably) she didn’t fill out any paperwork, and she was told by a nurse that they didn’t have a rape kit, which supposedly led Securro to go home without being seen (despite injuries!), but the hospital contradicted this, saying that they always kept a rape kit.)

If I had to hazard a guess, I’d say that Securro isn’t a lot more reliable than Jackie, except that, in Securro’s case, she did indeed have some kind of bad sexual incident with Beebe, though it’s almost impossible to make out exactly that might have amounted to.

I'm fond of saying that we live in a different sort of Iran. In Tehran they will haul forth a heretic and punish him in a ritualized way. Pushing a stone wall over onto a homosexual chained to the ground has nothing to do with the homosexual. The whole thing is to remind the populace about who has the monopoly of force, who is in charge. You see the same theater in Riyadh and in a less thoughtful way in ISIS controlled turf.

In America, undesirables are frog marched onto the public stage and humiliated. Their guilt or innocence is unimportant. The point is to let everyone know who is in charge. It's a type of passion play where the true believers have their faith confirmed and the dissenters are reminded of what happens to those who cause trouble.

Iran has both types, in fact if you could read Farsi you would see America doesn’t come anywhere near close even in the shaming and humiliating stakes.

The Portuguese do not count because they are an overwhelmingly brunet ethnic group, the Portuguese are not an Aryan Nordic ethnic group like Northern Europeans. We need examples of gangs of blond haired men committing gang rape. Not even most Portuguese children have blonde hair, let alone Portuguese adults.

It is likely that none of the 6 Portuguese rapists have blond hair.

I’ve been told by Sabrina Rubin Ederley herself that 1 out of 5 women can’t get a seat on a subway because a man has brutishly decided that his male privilege entitles him to 2 seats. She shows up at work too exhausted to compete with the men, must spend half her day talking it out with her female colleagues at work to heal, and loses out on promotions–just as intended.

Obviously the MTA has solved all the important problems (station, train cleanliness, etc.), if they're going after this.

After all the feminist pronouncements of gender equality, you'd think women would just "man-up," say "excuse me, I'd like to sit," and plant their ass down on the seat. But apparently women are too squeamish and shy to speak up. Big Brother and the Nanny State must now be recruited into the service of the fairer sex in order to enforce gender equality.

Reality and ideology clash, and the ideologues want reality to accommodate...
    , @Cugel
Manspreading is in fact a real problem. This 20 year Brooklyn resident can tell you the offenders are most often obese and/or black (and sometimes female). How do I deal with it? I don't like to be touched, so if it's crowded I don't sit. If I'm already seated and it gets crowded a glare usually suffices to prevent unwanted contact. You will need to be in good shape to take this measure. It also helps to take subway lines that are not excessively vibrant, but this, of course, all depends on where you are going.
    , @Cugel
Something obvious that I left out. Manspreading is a type a behavior deployed mostly by males (though not always) against all others, male and female. The NYT, going by the photos on their article, believes it is just white men who do this. Against white women.

  • OK. So Soviet soldiers raped anything that moved in Germany in 1944 and 1945. That fact is well known. The circumstances were, to say the least, unusual. And even in that wave of rapes, is it confirmed that gang rape was the M.O.? Or was it more a series of individual rapes? Genuine question.

Let’s limit it to the last 50 years. Are there any documented cases of a gang of white/European men jointly raping a female victim?

As I said, I’m sure it has happened… I just haven’t noted any actual cases. And given how desperate the MSM is to browbeat us with acts of gross white criminality, I would have thought by now there would be at least a handful of stock causes celebres that get trotted out regularly, a la Emmett Till or James Byrd or Matthew Sheperd. But I’m not aware of any. All they seem to have is fictional cases such as the UVA one.

  • Somewhat off-topic, Steve, but this is something that you may be interested in pursuing, at the intersection of football, rape, and race. I was wondering if you were aware of the so-called “hazing scandal” within the Sayreville (NJ) War Memorial High School football team this Fall.

In a nutshell, some freshman student football players and their parents alerted police in early October that certain younger players were being routinely sexually assaulted in the locker room by certain upperclassmen players.

Coaches cancel the remainder of the season. For about two weeks, the gory details of the alleged assaults come out in local and regional media, specifically that in the locker room groups of (mostly) upperclassmen would hold down younger players and digitally sodomize them, forcing them to lick the finger afterward. Real public outrage mounts. On the popular regional radio station NJ101.5 , the mood of the drive-time hosts as well as the callers is livid and disgusted, with many calling for the perps’ prosecution as adults. Around this time CNN.com is calling it “rape”. Even this obscure feminist site spares no details and calls it sexual assault.

Around the 10th of October, county prosecutors charged seven players with crimes including sexual assault of several of their younger teammates. The names and even faces of at least a couple of the perps may be found with some diligent googling. I can supply them if necessary.

By the 19th, the story had made it to NYTimes.com.

By the third week in October, the media lets it be known that all of the accused are black. Hilariously, the NY Daily News mentions that “African-Americans” are concerned about a rush to judgement in the case, smack dab in the middle of African-Americans’ rush to judgement in the Ferguson case. In a few days they double-down on the racism narrative: on October 30th two remarkably-similar articles appear on USAToday.com and NBCNews.com, very boilerplate, making the perps seem like the real victims because racism, or something. Oh, and yet another similar story on the same date. Whites predictably on the defensive. The usual pattern.

So we have “violent ritual(s) involving anal sexual attacks”, in the words of one parent, but hardly any media coverage now. The topic has definitely been disappeared from drive-time radio. What coverage there is, focuses on who on the athletic staff will or won’t be fired, and downplays the victims’ stories. Apparently black boys’ sexual attacks on white boys are now okay in public high schools. I wonder if this is happening anywhere else?

  • I think I’ve got it. The issue with the feminists is not rape but informed consent. In the traditional definition, rape is repugnant because a female does not consent. The next level is informed consent. A female who has sex under the influence of alcohol or the omnipresent “date rape” drug no one can find is raped because she does provide informed consent. Her alcoholic stupor denied her being “informed”, therefore, she did not provide consent; therefore she was raped.

The next level is failed expectations. She thought she was valued … or loved … or something when she consented to sex. This did not turn out to be the case; he was a liar, the cur. Therefore, she did not have informed consent. Yes, she consented, but her consent was not properly informed. She found that out after the fact. Regret and ignorance equals rape!

A lecture: Please, ladies. You cannot have “informed consent” on a one-night-stand; the two of you don’t know each other. You cannot have “informed consent” on a one-week-stand; the two of you don’t know each other well. This is a defense of traditional dating through which men and women got to know each other over many, many months. Old fashioned, perhaps, but at least it provided women enough information about their male consorts so they could be informed … and well, with respect to this issue, they could provide well-informed consent. None of this is surprising to me. Situations like this only strengthen the establishment's insane attack dogs by giving them practice at denying reality both to others and themselves. And practice makes perfect; every situation is a stepping stone, and it gets a little worse with each non-crisis that dominates the news. It seems like just yesterday that they decided to continue calling George Zimmerman white in spite of the fact that the entire world could see that he looks more Indian than Benito Juarez. Now they're pretending that an entirely fabricated rape really did occur even after the entire story was exposed as a lie told by a crazy college girl.

It was long believed by non-liberals that there would be some moment at which the left would be vanquished by the exposure of their extreme dishonesty. Well, when you have enough smoking guns to arm the Crips AND the Latin Kings, and the left still continues with business as usual, it's a safe bet that discrediting them isn't going to do the job.

One other interesting factoid about the Cheryl Ann Araujo case from Wiki. After fighting off her attackers and rushing from the bar half-naked screaming that she had been raped, she, too, came across three college students, passing by in a van.

Surprisingly, instead of callously urging her to let the matter slide so as not to risk being ostracized, they drove her to the nearest hospital.

This one is from a Post reporter telling the story about how she was drugged and raped 14 years ago as a 17-year-old high school student when she went to stay overnight with a friend who was, yep, a member of a fraternity.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/it-should-never-be-too-late-to-tell-your-story-of-rape-14-years-later-this-is-mine/2014/12/18/e596a6e2-771a-11e4-a755-e32227229e7b_story.html

This account lacks the broken glass, but it does have a broken string of pearls flying around the room.

Once again, who knows what happened, though it screams why too much alcohol and regret rape, but, again, who knows. But this account has the same issues as the RS article. No one at the Post asked this woman to provide any evidence, nor did the Post contact Mr. X, the accused rapist, to get his side. The Post simply relies on the credibility of story teller. Also, Mr. X likely can be identified at least by the author’s parents and a friend, and probably several others.

It’s amazing to me that few people in the comments recognize the parallels with the RS article. It’s also amazing that no one feel comfortable bringing up the fact that perhaps 17-year-old high school students shouldn’t drives hours away and stay overnight at a frat house.

The defining image of gang rape for many Americans is Jodie Foster in the film The Accused, based on the case of Cheryl Ann Araujo (and starring two women who would eventually be recognized, more or less, as two of Hollywood’s most prominent lesbians, Kelly McGillis and Jodie Foster). The defense in that real-life case “claimed that she was a drunk and willing sexual participant seeking to make money by writing a book or by suing the bar’s owners.”

As noted in the link, Araujo was Portugese-American. The 6 men accused (four were convicted) were all Portugese immigrants.

Alas, the page does not mention if the college students were members of a fraternity, or how much Title IX sensitivity training they had undertaken.

The majority of the assaults were committed in the Soviet occupation zone; estimates of the numbers of German women raped by Soviet soldiers ranged up to 2 million.[1][8][9][10][11] In many cases women were the victims of repeated rapes, some as many as 60 to 70 times.[12] At least 100,000 women are believed to have been raped in Berlin, based on surging abortion rates in the following months and contemporary hospital reports,[9] with an estimated 10,000 women dying in the aftermath.[13] Female deaths in connection with the rapes in Germany, overall, are estimated at 240,000.[3][14] Antony Beevor describes it as the “greatest phenomenon of mass rape in history”, and has concluded that at least 1.4 million women were raped in East Prussia, Pomerania and Silesia alone.[15]

    Soviet literature[edit]
    Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn took part in the invasion of Germany, and wrote a poem about it: Prussian Nights;

“ Twenty-two Hoeringstrasse. It’s not been burned, just looted, rifled. A moaning by the walls, half muffled: the mother’s wounded, half alive. The little daughter’s on the mattress, dead. How many have been on it? A platoon, a company perhaps? A girl’s been turned into a woman, a woman turned into a corpse. . . . The mother begs, “Soldier, kill me!”[46] ”
Svetlana Alexievich published a book, War’s Unwomanly Face that includes memories by Soviet veterans about their experience in Germany. According to a former army officer,

“ We were young, strong, and four years without women. So we tried to catch German women and … Ten men raped one girl. There were not enough women; the entire population run from the Soviet Army. So we had to take young, twelve or thirteen year-old. If she cried, we put something into her mouth. We thought it was fun. Now I can not understand how I did it. A boy from a good family… But that was me.[47] ”
A woman telephone operator from the Soviet Army recalled that

“ When we occupied every town, we had first three days for looting and … [rapes]. That was unofficial of course. But after three days one could be court-martialed for doing this. … I remember one raped German woman laying naked, with hand grenade between her legs. Now I feel shame, but I did not feel shame back then… Do you think it was easy to forgive [the Germans]? We hated to see their clean undamaged white houses. With roses. I wanted them to suffer. I wanted to see their tears. … Decades had to pass until I started feeling pity for them.[48]

I didn't pry to confirm. Some things are better left unsaid.

  • Isn’t it ironic?

At the time Rolling Stone published this story, it was also bringing back Matt Taibbi after his exile with First Look Magazine.

And, while Taibbi never pledged with an Old Dixie Fraternitiy, he and his Pledge Brother of Fun, Mark Ames, openly and repeatedly reveled in some good old fashioned frat-boy high jinks from Russia with Lust.

Here’s an excerpt from their book about their time as editors of eXiled.

If that’s not enough, be sure to do a cursory search about Taibbi’s co-author (Ames) and his rape of a 15 year old. Or the forced abortion of another. I’m sure the girls at Jezebel will love it!

Here’s Ames alluding to a phenomenon that both he and Taibbi referred to as “The White God Factor”:

They say they also take advantage of what they like to call the “white god factor” and make trips to the provinces. “Tens of millions of people live in dire circumstances, stranded in the center of the world’s largest continent, with little hope of going anywhere,” said Mr. Ames. “Which means–sexual opportunity for me.”

Here’s the 1 star reviews of their book from Amazon. I’m highlighting the negative reviews for the simple point of emphasis that recurs throughout: 2 frat boys going wild on an overseas romp with young, vulnerable women.

    http://www.amazon.com/The-Exile-Drugs-Libel-Russia/product-reviews/0802136524/ref=cm_cr_dp_qt_hist_one?ie=UTF8&filterBy=addOneStar&showViewpoints=0

Yes, in today's America (and elsewhere in the first world, which is to say, Europe, North America, and East Asia), whites and East Asians commit rapes, let alone gang rapes, at extremely low rates. Rightly these are considered very heinous crimes in the civilized world. Rapes are much more common in Latin America, Africa, and South Asia. In the Middle East rapes are less common, but for different reasons than in the first world (there are few opportunities as women are heavily shielded).

Those are the norms. Even children, pregnant women, and old women were often raped repeatedly and savagely, not just by individuals, but by masses ("gangs") of Soviet soldiery. It was common, for example, for a whole platoon or company to drag out German women and girls from buildings, violate them repeatedly and in the most vile manner in front of their menfolk - husbands, brothers, and sons - and then shoot them. There is a reason why the locals call the Soviet War Memorial in the Tiergarten in Berlin "The Tomb of the Unknown Rapist."

So, yes, while "palefaces" commit these outrages at extremely low rates under normal circumstances, their civilized norms can break down in extreme circumstances and they have and are capable of committing gang rapes in the most heinous manner.

  • Totalitarian regimes cannot stand the existence of independent entities, especially those which are sources of value. The Fraternities are outside the control of the cultural Marxist totalitarian regime, and thus are targeted for destruction. You see the same dynamic wherever totalitarian ideologies take power. Organised religion was a target of the 20th century totalitarian regimes in the West; now smaller entities are targeted.

Thank you Jonathan for underscoring the problem. There is no story, there was no incident. Even if there had been, it would not have been the Phi Kappa Psi house but some other.

Ignoring the lack of facts, Jonathan doubles down on the non-perps. The narrative continues, and even if there was not an assault, the pain Jackie feels is so real. Right?

Phi Kappa Psi is maintaining its dignity. Jonathan seeks to criticize that dignity, because if there had been an assault, then , then, ....

I think we can divide the world into two kinds of people. Those who are capable of dividing the world into two kinds of people based on some characteristic, and those who are not capable of dividing the world into two kinds of people This latter group relies on the narrative to inform them.

A new article by Erik Wemple at the Washington Post says UVA officials told Rolling Stone that one of the rapes reported in the RS article (not Jackie's, but another girl called Stacy) was "objectively false". If Jackie's story is also false, that means Erderly and RS published two false rape reports.

U-Va.-Rolling Stone e-mails highlight university’s attempt to correct magazine

Newly released emails show University of Virginia officials telling a Rolling Stone journalist that a sexual assault incident she was reporting on was “objectively false.” The pushback was part of a largely collegial set of interactions in the months leading up to publication of the magazine’s highly flawed Nov. 19 story “A Rape on Campus.”

...More than 100 pages of documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) reveal a pretty standard back-and-forth between an investigative reporter and an institution under scrutiny. The documentary trail begins in early September, as Rolling Stone reporter Sabrina Rubin Erdely contacts U-Va.’s Nicole Eramo, head of the sexual misconduct board, in an effort to secure an interview regarding the university’s handling of sexual assault complaints.

...But most intriguing is an e-mail from de Bruyn to [Rolling Stone fact checker] Garber-Paul, which reads as follows, in part:

    " Good morning, Liz-

One additional note. As I mentioned to you, we have expressed our concern to Sabrina regarding what we believe to be her mischaracterization of facts about a case that occurred in Spring 2014. I recall I mentioned this to you on the phone.

It has been brought to our attention by a few students that Sabrina has spoken to that she is referencing an incident where a male student raped three different women and received a one-year suspension. This is in fact objectively false.

...As we said during our phone interview, federal privacy laws prohibit us from disclosing details of any sexual assault report, investigation, or hearing. That said, your characterization of the facts of the spring 2014 case you referenced in our interview is incorrect.”"

    Wow.

That article makes it 100% obvious how both Sabrina and the fact checker(!) were accomplices in a lie, and obviously for ideological reasons.

There are examples of this outside of the social issues realm, too. Some BS just dies hard or not at all. Here’s a good example: as far as I know, the crusade against diet soda rages on. We’re told endlessly that it makes you fat, gives you cancer, and causes meth mouth. It doesn’t matter how often this is found not to be the case.

Apparently, some smart people can’t seem to figure out the most likely reason that people who drink diet coke gain more weight than those who don’t. Or maybe they just pretend that they don’t understand.

  • None of this is surprising to me. Situations like this only strengthen the establishment’s insane attack dogs by giving them practice at denying reality both to others and themselves. Now they’re pretending that an entirely fabricated rape really did occur even after the entire story was exposed as a lie told by a crazy college girl.

You caused me to take my first look at Benito Juarez. He looks WAAAYY more Indian than Zim.

  • Capeheart is really getting raked over the coals in the comments. (My favorite being the reprise of Otter’s speech at the hearing in Animal House). How long until the Post gets rid of comments, too?

For those outraged at lousy journalism and editorializing.

It is worth repeating what just happened at the NYT in case you do not know.

NYT Layoffs: VERY INTERESTING!!!! But alas not very surprising

Of the approx dozen by-line names attached to articles that involved in anyway the UVA rape hoax. I see that only one Ariel Kaminer, the NYT’s higher education beat reporter is being let go.

    http://www.capitalnewyork.com/article/media/2014/12/8558880/new-york-times-layoffs-watch-2014#names
    http://www.capitalnewyork.com/article/media/2014/12/8556472/emnew-york-timesem-buyout-watch-2014#names

Ariel Kaminer wrote one article that tangentially mentioned the UVA rape.

But is what is really interesting that Kaminer’s previous article expressed concerns for the rights of the accused in campus rape sexual misconduct cases!!!!!

New Factor in Campus Sexual Assault Cases: Counsel for the Accused

    http://www.nytimes.com/2014/11/20/nyregion/new-factor-in-campus-sexual-assault-cases-counsel-for-the-accused.html

As the Columbia University student tells it, the encounter was harmless fun: A female freshman invited him into her suite bathroom, got a condom, took off her clothes and had sex with him. But as that young woman later described it to university officials, the encounter was not consensual. The university suspended him for a year.

He felt the outcome was unjust, but he did not know what to do about it. His lawyer, Andrew Miltenberg of Manhattan, did.

Invoking Title IX, the federal gender-equality statute that is typically used to protect the rights of female students, he sued Columbia, saying his client had been “discriminated against on the basis of his male sex.”

    Please read the rest.

So it looks like the one NYT writer who wrote a straight forward article concerning itself with the “counter narrative” of the rights the accused in college sexual assault cases and the possibility of “reverse discrimination?” is out of a job.

The rest of the ten or so NYT “journalists” who stuck to the party line concerning the UVA Rolling Stone rape hoax apparently are still employed.

    Is anyone surprised????

Kaminer had to have a clue. And whenever I read about NYT folk getting let go, I smile.

Given that he mistook Jackie for Crystal Mangum his lack of competence means that he is only a blogger.

  • I’m fond of saying that we live in a different sort of Iran.

It’s a type of passion play where the true believers have their faith confirmed and the dissenters are reminded of what happens to those who cause trouble.

Iran has both types, in fact if you could read Farsi you would see America doesn't come anywhere near close even in the shaming and humiliating stakes.
