From the Steve Harvey radio show: HILLARY CLINTON: Maybe I can, by speaking directly to white people, say, 'Look, this is not who we are.' We have to do everything possible to improve policing, to go right at implicit bias.

Yep, and every time some smart ass journalist goes into one of those police shooting simulators, a lot of innocent people (virtually) die. I thought the Charlotte police showed great restraint last night. The whole thing might have been shorter if there had not been so many reporters interviewing the locals and photographing them mugging for the camera. The stupidest guy was the one who, though fairly articulate, went on and on about how Black money built Charlotte, etc.

  • As we all know, the Zeroth Amendment to the Bill of Rights, as carved on the Statue of Liberty, is that Americans don't have the right to borders because that would discriminate against the civil rights of foreigners to immigrate here. My reading speed depends on what I am reading. I “read” a 700 page technical book in about 3 hours because most of it was not what I was interested in. I made notes and then went back and read the interesting parts more slowly. I also read novels like Tom Clancy’s fairly quickly because much of their 700 pages is descriptive padding which I skip and go on to the plot.

I disagree that their world view is insane. It is perfectly sane if you believe in the power of words. Most of the cognitive elite got where they are because they are good with words. That’s why BHO believed that talking about drawing “a red line” in Syria would be effective. It’s what’s wrong with all of the chattering class; they have never actually done anything besides talk. Ben Rhodes was right.

In Living Color was a riot. I watched it when it was first on in the 90s and was amazed that they got away with so much stuff. Well said. And one of the ways Reagan defeated the Soviets was getting the Saudis to pump beaucoup oil in the early 80s. It collapsed the Soviet Union, and Houston too, since both were rolling along on high oil prices.

There are more than a few countries that need $70+ oil to survive. Fracking is great for the USA but a problem for resource based economies.
