To Bill Gates' credit, he periodically announces that some education reform fad boondoggle he has credulously financed has failed empirically. For example, in the 2000s he dropped a huge amount of money on "small learning communities," but then in 2009 came the news: And now, from Education Week: So good for Bill for hiring RAND...
  • Gates is my age. He grew up going to schools for upper class whites like himself He has no idea what schools are like today.

He also seems to be easily manipulated since he promoted that steaming pile of nonsense called “Common Core ” which is the express train to killing a interest in children’s ability to learn. The guy who peddled it wasn’t even a teacher.

That said, it was far easier to teach a homogeneous student population versus a “diverse” one where the students are two SD to the Left of the white students they used to teach and come from cultures where learning is not encouraged. Which makes it near impossible to impart knowledge to such children. Nor will they ever be “Westerners” they will remain Mexican or whatever their parents were.

You can’t fix that by throwing money at it.

Like the old saying goes: “you turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse”

  • From the Los Angeles Times: Petty theft is up to $50 in Texas. So basically shoplifting has been effectively legalized in Austin. While Austin is among the country’s first so-called freedom cities, it’s part of a wider movement around decriminalizing low-level offenses and decreasing arrests. According to Local Progress, a national network of progressive city...
  • @Anon
And we thought Starbucks was kooky.

I guess it goes around in cycles.

    Crimes get out of control.

    Strong measures are taken.

Crime goes down, and SWPL become complacent and call for easing on law enforcement.

Then, crime rises again... and same thing all over again.

It’s a replay of the 1970′s on steroids. The worrisome thing is local and state governments are just getting warmed up. They are going to do everything possible to give Trump the middle-finger and just wreck the country in the process.

But whites are a smaller portion of the electorate than the 1970s. Will there be enough “law and order” voters left to restore sanity?

Seems like minorities will put up with an awful lot of crime and chaos if the alternative is whitey in the driver’s seat.

  • Once again the Culture of Death strikes back. This is going to kill retail in the city. And eateries will get wiped out unless they make you pay upfront. Gas stations will have to put everything behind the counter, because there will be nothing stopping Jose or LaQuan from lifting a case of beer and just walking out now.

But wait it gets even better, lets talk grocery stores They will have one of two choices. Either hire armed guards and have them stationed at the entrance/exit or get pilfered out of business.

Upscale outlets at the malls will also be in play.

Austin’s only hope lays in the gutter class not knowing this new law.

  • As I wrote in Taki's Magazine in 2015: What are the odds that at some point something will go wrong in Latin America that interested parties in the U.S. will try to define as justifying our own Camp of the Saints? Last year, the Obama administration tried to pass off Central American gang violence as...
  • It would work if we had a dictator. The thing is with half of the GOP Senate ant all of the Democrats supporting open borders and globalization, there is no way that any proposed changes to immigration law will be enacted. There are just too many vested interests for it to be any other way.

We’re stuck on the path we’re on until it blows up in our faces and the existing power structure is crippled. It’s just a matter of when, not if.

  • There has been a big campaign in recent decades to promote cycling on city streets, which is a little odd because there haven't been many improvements in bicycle safety since I got flattened by a car while riding home from school in 1972. A modern car might have 100 safety improvements over the car that...
  • @Jus' Sayin'...
Bicyclists who are struck by driver's side doors opened heedlessly as they are passing by call this dooring. It has happened to me more times than I can recall. Twice such incidents caused enough damage to my bicycle and myself - total destruction to the bike and ER visits for me - that I've retained the details in my memory. BTW, I'm an experienced bicyclist who travels with extreme caution on city streets.

My first memorable dooring occurred in broad daylight as I was passing a parked pickup truck on a two-lane suburban highway. I swung wide to avoid the truck but the driver very suddenly flung his door open as wide as he could. He jumped out of his vehicle and was ready to start accusing me of carelessness while I was still lying in the road but a passing driver stopped and told him he'd witnessed the whole thing and it was entirely the pickup driver's fault. This other driver was kind and concerned enough to give me and my totaled bike a ride to the nearest ER and provide me with a witness statement. The at-fault driver's insurance company later settled with me for a sizable chunk of change.

My second dooring occurred on a thoroughfare in a major city, after dark during rush hour. I was in my mid-sixties at the time and commuting home from work. I was doored within a block of my workplace. The guy who doored me was an African immigrant with no documentation at all. He was working as a valet for a nearby hotel, parking hotel guests' cars on the public street. As is usual the case in such incidents, he swung his car door open without looking and with no warning. He could as easily have been struck by a passing car as by me. Again my bike was totaled. The police were called and an ER visit ensued. Many passing witnesses declared that the incident was entirely the African valet's fault. THe hotel's insurance company settled for a sizable amount.

My bike was lit up like a Christmas tree with three battery-powered LED red/yellow rear lights, and a hub-generator-powered, quart-halogen, front light, with approximately the same brightness as a motorcycle headlight. I was carrying a full touring-load (about thirty pounds of gear), wearing winter clothes, and going uphill. I could not have been doing anything over ten miles an hour, considerably below average traffic speed at that time and place, and was very wary of passing and parked cars and pedestrians. The accident was entirely the fault of the driver thoughtlessly and carelessly swinging his car door open as wide as he could. My experiences suggest that this is almost invariably the case in these situations.

I won't bother enumerating the times I have been literally attacked by car drivers, swerving into me or even deliberately bumping me. Conversations with fellow bicyclists and motorcyclists have led me to believe that this is a common experience. Evidently there are a large number of psychopathic bullies out there who think it is amusing to threaten bicyclists and motorcyclists with death and maiming from within the protection of their multi-ton vehicles. Interestingly, the most bicycle- and motorcycle-considerate class of drivers seem to be drivers of commercial trucks, heavy rigs, and semis.

There are two sides to this issue.

If you didn’t drive like a entitled punk and obeyed the same rules of the road that licensed vehciles drivers do you wouldn’t have gotten “doored” On the bright side, you got a fat pay day for your entitlement.

I rode street motorcycles for a decade and put 50,000 miles on the odometer. I never once had a issue because I obey the rules and expect people not to see me,

You didn’t. you were lazy. You rode too close to the cars which only a fool would do and expect everyone to see your entitled hide.

Guess what? people don’t. They don’t expect roaring fools to ride within a foot of the driver’s side door.

This is why I have zero respect for cyclists and laugh every time they get hurt. They have earned that contempt.

With all respect, Rod, cause I do agree with almost all your comments, I don't think you get it. There are people bitching, right above here in the comments, that bicyclists are mixing it up with the cars on the roads. Hey, how far out do you think a car door (transverse projection) comes out into the road, Rod? With a 3" margin, you're talking close to 3'. I'd rather not mix it up with the cars (see my very 1st comment above), but if it's a parked car (among too many to discern which have people inside) versus looking back at a driver 20' behind me, and sliding temporarily over to the left, I'm coming left.

The supposed "bike bath" is 2 1/2 to 3 ' wide from the curb, but if it's one of those with a parking lane outside it, then you've got 0 leeway. Oh, sometimes cars are parallel parking. It's pretty hard to figure which side to go on, but I opt for inside the parking car (toward the road center) due to fear of getting jammed in.

If that's not working out well, then it's on to the sidewalk where I can piss off more people - it's all unintentional, but I'm gonna get where I'm going, one way or another. No, traffic laws mean jack-all to me when I'm on a bike. It's safety first - for me. The cars will be alright.

Orwell gave us the proletarian "Boxer" character from Animal Farm, I know that.

Orwell and Boxer and Whites Without College Degrees from 2017:

I know what happened to Boxer — Russian working class — the work horse in George Orwell’s Animal Farm. Boxer busted his arse building the farm back up to snuff after it had undergone the revolution and other problems. The pigs — Stalinists — rewarded Boxer by carting him away to the glue factory. Poor Boxer finally realized he was going to the glue factory while in the truck, but he was so exhausted from his labors in working on the farm that he didn’t have enough strength to kick the truck to pieces to escape.

Whites Without College Degrees(WWCDs) are the new Boxer of the present day. The Stalinists are now the Globalizers. The Globalizers have decided that all the hard work and all the soldiering over generations by the WWCDs will be rewarded with deliberate attacks and sneaky ways to harm them. From mass immigration to de-industrialization to hooking the WWCDs on drugs, the Globalizer pigs have used every trick in the book to destroy Whites Without Colllege Degrees. Two academics have described this demographic phenomenom as the WHITE DEATH.

It’s class war 2,0. The final solution.

First they attacked the WWCD’s in England via Thatchers privatization scheme that both deindustrialized England and crushed it’s blue collar work force so that many ended emotionally wrecked with no job prospects and their children suffered as well. Ever notice the Brits at the same time began to liberalize booze and drugs among the youth. It’s no coincidence. Cripple the youth by turning them into boozed up and drugged up good for nothing losers. No threat of rebellion there as long as the pot keeps flowing.

Bush and Clinton followed with NAFTA and other trade treaties that wiped out a 100 hundreds of work building up our industrial base in less than a decade. In the process many towns, communities and families were crushed in the process. Public debate on this was wiped out by the MSM and political class for almost 30 years until Trump came along. Even now none of the talking heads will bring this up. The HBD crew is no better.

This is also why we refuse to stop China dumping synthetic opioids into the U.S. and allow Ebay, Wal-Mart and Amazon to launder drug profits back to China. Why? Because it’s getting rid of whites which our government and ruling class endorses.

Look at the IG report. Our educated elite hates our guts and views as no better than scum who deserve to have no say in anything.

But shouldn't the sort of people rooked by Theranos (if rooked they were) be perfectly capable of seeing through the nonsense? Why should public funds be spent on this when the damn fools who poured money in her direction should all have known better? It might be wiser to jail some of them for Being Stupid in a Public Place.

But shouldn’t the sort of people rooked by Theranos (if rooked they were) be perfectly capable of seeing through the nonsense?

Yes they should be because they have the resources to bring in experts to scrutinize what Holmes was peddling. They didn’t. I could easily pull a RN out of a hospital that draws blood gases and she could tell you in less than 5 minutes why Holmes and her SideShow Bombay special Buddy were full of s**t. It’s not rocket science.

Yet no one on Wall Street or the VC community bothered? Oh wait that’s right, these are the same people who praise that con-arist Elon Musk, Zuckerberg and gave us Bernie Madoff. They are all bullshitters and schemers.

And come to think of it, most of the people she swindled were bullshit artists of one kind or another. No wonder they were such easy marks.

That is completely true. Roughly 50% of nurses are aware of the difference. But you keep repeating that "blood gases" thing as if it's the only important difference. The truth however is that almost everything is different. Na+, Ca2+, total protein, hemoglobin, IgG, billirubin, glucose, etc. Even worse, the variability of all of these things in capillary blood is much higher, making finger-pricks only suitable for extremely regular or qualitative tests.

Theranos was full of shit from day zero. And it is a monumental failure on a thousand of different levels that the frauds were able to collect more than a loose change. Many of the people working at Theranos ought to know that, too.

Agreed. There's an opinion too hot for Unz.com!

The other main issue with the major conspiracy theories is why? Elites seem to have plenty of power and control without the bothers and risks of spectacular and conplex crimes like killing JFK, RFK, and secretly dynamiting several Manhattan skyscrapers and timing the demo with suiciding hijackers.

The daily blood glucose tests that diabetics use have obviously had a lot of effort at making an accurate test with as little blood as possible. Have a look at that pharmacy aisle: this is the main thing they compete on.

But that it just one easy test. The idea of using that little amount to perform dozens of more complex ones seems pretty absurd in retrospect.

The current silly scam coming from Silicon Valley is of course bitcoin and the other 2500 or so "cryptocurrencies" which have been around for more than a decade and still do not do anything remotely useful despite about $15 billion of spending and a theoretical market value of $300 billion.

But that it just one easy test. The idea of using that little amount to perform dozens of more complex ones seems pretty absurd in retrospect.

As a kid, I 'collected' a lot of shit that no one else had an interest in because I got dragged to garage sales by my mother, who was a junkasaurus. Along with Polaroid cameras (worthless then and now) and the odd bit of vintage tube electronics (much of which, such as tube hi fi and guitar amplifiers, a few pieces of test and RF gear but not many, and especially Restrum Erectric anything, has real value now, but of course most of which I long have been parted with) I had a lot of John Birch Society and similar "conspiracy" literature. In books like None Dare Call It Treason and None Dare Call It Conspiracy they talked about "Insiders" who were said to be much like Mafiosi, but people born into wealth and given fine educations, who would worm their way into positions of power and influence and subvert society at large.

From the vantage point of 40-60 years later, reading these books again makes me realize they were right to a point. Most of the dire predictions they made have either come true, or were the obvious intent of Democrat and Establishment Republican politicians but have been thwarted by some level of grassroots resistance. Yet what surprises me is that they didn't take into account just how stupid these titans of malevolence are much of the time.

Even after the fall of the Soviet Union, top KGB spymasters still believed that the US had a secret committee that met to determine what factories made what and how much of it, and expressed frustration that for all of their many military intelligence successes, they never did find out who was on this committee or where its secret meetings occurred, despite immense intelligence resources having gone into finding it. Surely, if the KGB could get disaffected submariners or defense contractor employees to turn over America's best kept cryptologic and nuclear secrets-and they did-one would think that this economic committee would be discoverable. Since they never did, they imagined an incredibly elaborate mechanism guarded by measures beyond anything the CIA or NSA fielded or that they themselves used. So a great amount of finite intelligence gathering and processing capacity was wasted that otherwise would have gone into getting material of real use against the Main Enemy.

The Theranos debacle is yet more proof that our enemies don't need to worry very much about the brilliance of our top leaders.

First off people already don’t report various crimes such as breaking and entering unless they’re insured. Otherwise there is no upside because the cops don’t investigate.

Worse here in CA, thanks to law changes from Moonbeam and company. Armed robberies that net let than a grand are automatic misdemenors. IOW you get a fine and walk.. Basically blacks and Mexers get a “get out of jail free card”. It doesn’t matter that there are laws on the books that if you use a gun it’s a automatic felony. Judges haven’t applied those laws in decades because most are liberal lunatics.

And then there’s Obama’s administration changes to encourage public schools and local PD’s to go easy on juvenile offenders. Reducing felonies to slap on the wrists. Cruz and Trayvon were both beneficiaries of that.

It’s here our West as well, there is a neighborhood in Las Vegas NV where a nearby public school loaded with blacks routinely swarm the neighborhood and attack whites walking or doing work outside. Residents call the police and they do nothing. The school does nothing.

Why even call when the you know the precious brown skins are given special protections under the law?

You are incorrect. A forcible robbery, Penal Code sec 211, involves the taking of property of any value (even $1) from another's person with force or violence. It is always a felony punishable by 2, 3 or 5 years in prison. It does not require use of a weapon. Indeed, if a PC 211 were committed with a firearm, it would add a mandatory minimum of 10 years and require the person to serve 85% of the time.

What you are complaining about is mere petty theft, which involves no use of force. Annoying yes; but completely different than robbery.

Though hardly on the same level with armed robbery and violent crime, law enforcement doesn't bother with bank fraud either--at least in my town here in Fairfield County, CT. A number of years ago I had about a thousand dollars siphoned out of my checking account by some scumbag. My bank reimbursed me of course under FDIC. I was told to report it to the cops. The desk guy told me they would take the report but that they wouldn't do anything unless the bank itself turned it over to their fraud unit. I was told that they very rarely ever do this unless it involves big bucks. It's not worth it to them.

This might seem surprising at first, but stop and think about how different people are just within races. Consider the current NBA finals. The Cleveland Cavaliers’ top scorer LeBron James is massive, while the Golden State Warriors’ top scorer Kevin Durant is spindly.

Lebron James went on a "diet" during the summer of 2014 and became spindly. This was a year before the NBA was going to test HGH use starting in the 2015-2016 season. Lebron's play was less than stellar in the first half of 2014-2015 and he wound up taking a two-week midseason hiatus coming back "revitalized". The proposed punishment for testing positive for HGH was supposed to be a 20-game suspension for a first-time violation and a 45-game ban for a second violation, although I cannot find any indication that testing was ever implemented.

Lebron’s play was less than stellar in the first half of 2014-2015 and he wound up taking a two-week midseason hiatus coming back “revitalized”.

I’ve seen “juicers” who go off their meds shrink like a popped balloon. They lose so much muscle mass so fast it’s amazing. What it is, is their own body’s testosterone production flatlined during their doping and when they went off the “juice” their system crashed.

As for coming back “revitalized” PED’s will do that.

  • From the New York Times: I'm trying to figure out how much more optimistic Pinker would be and pessimistic Taleb would be if they switched exercise routines.
  • @Forbes
Taleb has actually criticized cycling a little. Apparently he cycled to work for a while thinking it would be good exercise, but then discovered the benefit of physical resistance to gravity in his "Anti-fragile" research and went heavier into weightlifting. Apparently a side-effect is a loss of bone density due to an absence of physical resistance to gravity while cycling. I do both--maybe that's the happy medium...

Weight training is certainly beneficial. 2-3 days a week for a older person(50+) will help them increase muscle mass, bone density and overall lean body mass. All of which a person loses as they get older. Looking at Pinker, the fella certainly could do with some upper body muscle mass.

I don’t know about it preventing depression or lessening it. But it does give a person that endorphin high afterwards and you feel better about yourself.

Bottom line is I hope the Asians get AAed good and hard. Also I like to see New Yorkers hung by the rope of their own making, no matter what their color.

Yep since they vote Democratic and thought they could work the ethnic card like the Blacks and Africans. Folks don’t get that Asians aren’t white Americans. Their culture and values are different. We see that with the rampant cheating in colleges and fake research papers they publish. Or the fact in China you can buy any degree you want including a MD.

Here’s a thing to consider these people turned their country into a toxic waste dump and have no qualms about turning their people into slaves to exploit them economically. You are assuming that these people have (white) descendants. I would say that 90% of them fall into one of these 3 groups:

    1. Childless: cat ladies, gays, etc.
    2. Married to someone of another race so their descendants will be "in" on the diversity game like the Bushes with their little brown grandchildren.
    3. Believing that because they are part of the 1% they will be exempt from the fate that will befall most people - the Clintons and Chelsea. It doesn't occur to these folks that once America is sufficiently brown future white Democrats will be kicked to the curb as surely as if they were W. Virginia coal miners.

It doesn’t occur to these folks that once America is sufficiently brown future white Democrats will be kicked to the curb as surely as if they were W. Virginia coal miners.

    Bingo!!

And that’s the best case scenario. Historically when brownskins take over, they drive out or murder whites.

Brazil works as a multi-ethnic shit hole for one reason. Most of the brownskins don’t have guns. If they had the number of firearms we do, they would have murdered the white elites in the walled fortresses they call homes.

This means the Hillary’s, Chelseas and the Bushes of the U.S. will go extinct quite rapidly once the tipping point is reached in terms of who has the political power and ability to dispense violence.

But they don’t see that because they are so economically and socially isolated from the brownskins that they have no f**king clue just how violent these people are.

Actually, most of the criminals have guns. And why wouldn't they? For modern violent criminals, guns are as essential a part of their toolkit as power tools are to the modern carpenter. Brazilian thugs of whatever ethnicity have plenty of guns. But they're thugs - the lowest of the low. They don't have ambitions that extend beyond amassing plenty of loot, enjoying the favors of gang groupies, killing their thug competitors and surviving attacks from their thug challengers. Simply accomplishing those things is hard enough without taking on people who have the full resources of the Brazilian state at their disposal.

And Brazil's notions of whiteness have to do with physical appearance rather than the one-drop rule we have stateside. The following quote is typical of what I've heard in person from Brazilians I've spoken to:

We have a lot of White people that in others country would be Black.

If you look my picture can see a Black kid, but in Brazil I'm white.

I like to show pictures of my two grandfathers and say that in 1940s they were journalist, but in they ID was write white.
In 1700s farms belong to High ranked military and influential politicians.

They had children wit the slaves and use their power to force people to accept their children and grandchildren as white.

We have the the heritage to never see a person by the color of their skin but by the price tag.

A lot of biracial people in Brazil is white.

Asians are also white. Japanese, chinese, korean they all are white by the Brazilians laws.

We have three colors, white, pardo, that we put indians and mixed and Black, asian people are white.

One example is that a lot of people get surprised that Hally Barry is Black.
People with straight hairs and light brown color is white in Brazil,
Anther example is our actress Sonya Braga, a great success in movies, she goes to hollywood in the 80s and was invited to Cosby Show as a Brazilian black actress, she thought that was a mistake because she was white her whole life was white and talking with a lot of people she discovered that in USA nobody see her as a white woman.

I would like it if Mr. Milbank and other like him who assert the country will be a more progressive, peaceful place once whites are no longer an outright minority believe this to be the case because a) future congresses/presidencies led by POCs will be more benevolent and even handed than whites are capable of and white people will gladly accept their leadership or b) POCs will just outright dominate whites and enact laws explicitly intended to counterbalance any advantages whites might have.

I'd also like to know if they believe living standards/economic mobility for the various racial/ethnic groups will be significantly different than they are now in this glorious future.

Well, the NYT is a Jewish paper serving Jewish interests. That's not a value judgment necessarily... But those young black women can look forward to careers of toeing somebody else's party line. At least until the Armageddon that will be the great Jewish/Black coalition schism to come.

Why should intelligent white male journalists want to write for Jewish editors? I am not setting up a joke.

It's clear to me that white men should be staffing our own papers, not drinking kosher kool-aid, if we want to represent our own interests. A goy can dream.

Oh, Jeff Bezos is a gentile you say? Maybe I was setting up a joke.

Exactamundo, no white male in their right mind would want to work for a paper like the NYT. Hell do conservative white men even go to J-School anymore? I think it’s doubtful. From what I know being a journalist is a good way to stay poor unless you get a gig at a major paper.

Here’s the other thing. Dead tree papers are dying along with their grey haired readership. This goes across the board. Ones that don’t croak just keep shrinking or rely on a sugar daddy to keep them from going belly up.

But that of course is at times too much for the rest of mankind and will be one of those miracles like Hegel's irredeemably famous ruse of reason let's say: Ah, where did I stop: It was at those miracles, which are only accessible for the happy few, if to anybody here on earth at all... sigh, the world is just not just, but that's all part of the eternal laws of God, isn't it, which are too high o achieve for us lowly bipeds anyway...(at least, that's what Hegel assumed, who ran into lots of troubles for this kind of moral insurrection to the human overachievers (=puberterians of the world) - lately by no lesser mind than the brilliant highspeed one of Ben Shapiro (if only I had understood him a little bit better - but as I said: Shapiro was ultrafast, when he tried to wipe Hegel from the face of the earth as just another betrayer of the pure reason, incorporated by nobody else than him personally, Ben Shapiro, and I have to conclude: Of course - - who else, who else... - in the end it all boils down to what Ben Shapiro says, and we can rightfully be glad about this latetst intellectual plot turn in the Book of Reason, or at least we could be glad about it - - those, I mean, should even be glad about it, who suffer from Hegel (this must be millions (some of them young journalists of all races (see: Suffering is inclusive!)), worldwide, by now, if only as far as I know, that is).

When he joined the tour out of Stanford in 1996, Woods carried only 158 pounds on his 6 foot, 2-inch frame. Today, he weighs between 182 and 185 -- a gain of nearly 30 pounds. In 1996, his waist measured 29 inches; today, it's 31.

185 at 6'2" and a 31 inch waist is nothing though. I'm 6'2" and around 185 to 190 normally, and back when I weightlifted a lot I got up to 205 to 210 easily just by lifting regularly and eating more. I probably could've gotten to 215 to 220 pretty easily if I didn't get injured and lose interest.

185lbs isn’t that big if he eats right and lifts weights.

Still golf cannot even be remotely considered a sport when children to geriatric geezers with a heart condition can play it.

Now if they made the players lug their own clubs and not use a cart then I ‘d say it’s closer to a sport. But then you’d have a lot of the horribly dressed older players stroking out, blowing their backs, before their 3rd hole. Could rename it Sudden Death Golf. The problem with the English is they haven't had to deal with a foreign invasion since 1066 (and have never been overrun by non-whites). Not being invaded for a thousand years breeds complacency and arrogance (particularly when a lot of the Norman invaders are now part of the ruling class). The US, Canada, Sweden, and Australia are now going down the same path. They have never really been invaded, and so they can't see the danger in invite/invade politics.

Countries which have never been overrun by foreigners tend to be arrogant and imperialistic. White countries which have never been overrun by non-whites don't see the danger in being overrun by non-whites

England is run by the elites and always has been. They’ve never really liked their lower classes all that much. Thatcher has no qualms about turning the British blue collars into drugged out wards of the state and de-industrialized England in the process.

Our elites here in the U.S. are no different.from the late 1800′s, they are isolated themselves from the rest of society, their children attend exclusive boarding schools where they mingle with other scions of the elite class. Later they attend the Ivies where they find their mates and network to find jobs only meant for their kind of people.

And they despise us. We are dirt people to them, they openly detest us and want us dead and gone. Endless articles in their propaganda organs like the NYT , NR, TNR, think tanks, extol this. They want to reduce the majority of humanity to docile serfs. Even HBD’s mascot Charles Murray openly detests whites and wants them replaced by new Americans – which he means Hindu Brahmins and the like.

Most MBAs now aspire to work for a tech company which is working on transformational technology that will be highly useful to consumers such as Lyft, AirBnB, WhatsApp etc.

I'd guess that the number of MBAs produced vs the number of positions of the sort you describe is such that most MBAs will not work in "transformational technology." But, I am willing to be shown the numbers that show that I am wrong.

After I posted the above comment, my wife and I started chatting about all the MBAs we actually know personally -- several relatives, various co-workers, etc. Not a single one of the MBAs we know is really involved in producing better goods and services for consumers.

Of course, we do not live in Silicon Valley, but, again, I rather suspect that the number of positions for MBAs in "transformational technology" is only a tiny fraction of the number of MBAs produced each year. Anyone know how to test my hypothesis vs. Ali's hypothesis?

Lfyt, AirBnB, Whatsapp are not technical innovations. They are all financial slight of hands. For example Lfyt/Uber turns people into private contractors/tax drivers who averages less than minimum wage while the bulk of the taxi fees are vacuumed up by the executives. Since they don’t do background checks on their drivers it’s a crap shoot as to whether you get a nut job, scumbag foreigner or god knows what as a driver. AirBnB has become a curse word in many neighborhoods.

That said, since the average MBA has no design or technical skills whatsoever so they aren’t going to be found in the R&D sections or even in sales.

They will however be in the offices figuring how out how to skim and screw their customers, where to outsource product manufacturing and support to some Asiatic hell hole with no labor or environmental laws. They are very good at that.

In terms of employment, the MBA has now become the degree to have in order to become a manager in many companies. Take Lockheed, you need a MBA even if you’re just managing a bunch of flight line mechanics even though the degree isn’t relevant at all.

This more or less struck me when I came to live in the US.

Companies like banks and telcos, which in other countries were staid and respectable businesses seemed in the US to be run by organized crime who preyed on customers, refused to tell you how much services would cost, or gave false information, and were just generally unreliable and deceitful.

Besides as a way to network just as in the Ivy League colleges, I think the material learned in business school can be learned on the job as a manager. American business is known for hiring MBAs for positions in companies who know absolutely nothing about the company's core service or product. This is very different from Japan, in which guys have to work their way up. The CEO of an auto company will know a whole lot about the jobs of all those working for him. Back here, the MBA is supposed to know how to run things from professors and textbooks?? It's a bunch of bull.

Yep, it’s mostly bull and hiring people who have zero understanding of what your business does to run it is just plain nuts but that’s SOP. The case of Mr. Gasket is a classic example of it. The founder of company and who developed the products eventually sold Mr. Gasket to a bunch of MBA’s who promptly ran the company into the ground and the founder bought the company back from them for about 1/10th the price they paid for it.

And the only reason why people are getting MBA’s is because they are almost mandatory if you want to become a manager today. It doesn’t matter if you’re managing a bunch of avionic techs for Lockheed or GD, you need a MBA even though it isn’t relevant in the least. As you stated, you’re learning how to run things from from a bunch of theoreticians.

The US military are the equivalent of the Roman Empire's honestiores, or upper classes. As well as the benefits accruing from service, they had special legal treatment, like being exempt from judicial torture. So Arthur Lichte merely gets part of his pension docked for raping a woman. Nothing to see here , mate, move along. Even someone like Chelsea ( " They call her Natasha, but she looks like Elsie" ) Manning spends a mere 7 years in prison and gets the Defence Department to pay for "gender reassignment".
The point about judicial torture is important as America has recently revived the practice. Would Assange be waterboarded if they got hold of him ? Would he have met a fatal "accident" in custody?
Who knows ? But don't you even think about doing that to an American serviceman, even one as degenerate as Manning.

The VA is a train wreck because of these people. No one wants to say squat because you have to point a finger at all the AA hires and that would get you labeled as a racist.

And oh they are paid, very, very well. The average RN makes over a $100k at the VA. I know private sector nurses who went to work for the VA because of the pay and bennies. Plus you can’t get fired.

A few months ago I compared him to Stephen Covey: http://thezman.com/wordpress/?p=12851

I'm agnostic on these guys. Maybe there is some utility in their very mild push back against the prevailing orthodoxy. They tend to come and go, so there is a chance they are just useful distractions for the people steamrolling the culture. Sort of like the opponent for a barnstorming professional team.

His responses to the JQ stuff have been pointless and wacky, so I suspect he is not as clever as he lets on. He would have been wise to avoid the topic entirely. Staying in your lane is how you stay a guru.

At least he’s pushing back, all the alt-right ever do was commit PR suicide at C’ville because the movement was led by a crank spewing WN mind porn to a bunch of white fools. Didn’t any of the geniuses of the movement stop and think that Spencer was trouble? Nope, went right over their pointy heads.

Frankly the HBD movement deserved the shellacking it got at Spencers goose stepping rally.

And who’s their new front man? A 19 year old greasy tongued kid. Again they are asking for trouble.

Peterson gets attention because he does stand up against PC/MC and does it well. He’s not one of our crazies. He’s also providing help for young white men to get their heads on straight in a society and education system that hates them and wants them gone. Which is more than I can say for our side which has it’s head up it’s collective ass on such issues. All they do is endless “Look it’s the Joos!!” posts or “see there are biological differences!”, well duh, any high school kid doing FFA work could tell you that.

We’re way beyond that point of pointing out who the poisoners of society are and now onto figuring out how to stop them.

To be blunt we need men of his caliber on our side. He’s attracting the sort of people our side needs but can’t attract because it’s a one trick pony. HBD isn’t enough to promote a alternative to the GOP and certainly insufficient to create a cultural movement to push back against the elites. Hell when I saw Spencer was our side’s defacto front man, I found it sad and a sign of desperation.

Jordan Peterson seems like a gateway drug to me. Peterson-ism is not great but it beats the hell out of bugman-ism and nihilism as far as I can tell.

And you could say he is better for White young men than a lot of "hardcore alt right". "Clean up your room" is much more useful advice than "wake up normies to the JQ!!" He's done a hell of a lot more for lost Whites than say Paul Nehlen.

I also think the fixation with him being on some UN panel is way off. Sorry he's not a loser shitposting in his pajamas all the time and people out in the real world respect him and value his input? If you want to win, you need people like this.

I'm curious to see where he goes and how this plays out.

As a old Paleocon guy(56), I quite agree with your view of Peterson. He’s something good for young white guys who are totally abandoned by contemporary culture and a education system that just wants to drug the more curious ones into zombies. They are getting hate from all sides simply for being white and male.

Yes his advice is much more useful for young whites – hell getting your head on straight before doing anything is a must. Peterson wants people to succeed. In this he is far more useful and relevant than some HBD type ranting endlessly about Jews or IQ. Which does exactly nothing for these young men except make them angry.

And our movement needs men of his caliber if we want to win. That much is certain. Right now we have no one approaching his level and reach. That has to change if alt-right is to grow and become relevant.

There is a large segment of the homeless that are plain ass crazy, violent and prone to criminality. Many are also druggies and boozers. They don’t want to he helped, they want to do their own thing and are dangerous. This is why they are on the street. Their families had enough of their crap and tossed them out.

And yeah they end up in hospitals which they use as flop houses when the weather gets bad. I got stuck with several of them in my room and they are total thieving scum. Jordan Peterson is a public intellectual adored by neo-Nazis, white supremacists and conspiracy theorists. ... Part of why people on the far right like Peterson is because he is not afraid to talk about the Jews, and he has...
  • @Anon7
So, The Forward has a monthly circulation of maybe 25,000?

I've read the piece that Peterson wrote that was partly quoted here. He does a back of the envelope calculation based on the idea that if white Americans have 100 IQ, and genius IQ is 145, that's three standard deviations, and so about 1 in 1000 (99.9 percentile) is somewhere on the "genius" scale. Multiply that by 200 million white people and you get about 200,000 white people geniuses.

For Ashkenazi Jews, assume a 115 IQ as average. To get to 145 IQ, that's only 2 standard deviations, about 97.6 percentile, so about 2.4 Ashkenazi Jews in 100 have a genius IQ. There are about six million American Jews, and if you assume they're all Ashkenazi, that's about 140,000 Jews with genius IQs.

If you recall stats that show things like 40 percent of American billionaires are Jews, the above back of the envelope calculation shows that's about what you'd expect. That is, if the "You're so smart, how come you're not rich?" wisecrack is true.

Anyway, everyone on campus wants a piece of Peterson, because he states the truth as he sees it and lets the chips fall where they may. So, since he puts a psychometric foundation under Jewish achievement (rather than worldwide cabals), now he's apparently an anti-semite, along with an anti-feminist, an anti-marxist, an anti-PC activist, etc. etc.

    Spot on.

Peterson’s main sin has been to notice things and speak of them in a truthful no BS manner. Which the Left. The Tribes hates him for that even if he never said squat about them. The very fact that young white men(and women listen to him) and he’s about empowering them, so it makes him public enemy of the Left and the Tribe,

The problem is the Left is composed of intellectual idiots and have no real way of countering him except to riot. The tribesmen who go after him wouldn’t last 5 minutes in a public debate because their hatred is based outright lies and pathological hatred of goys.

The tribesmen have the IQ, but lack the intellectual honesty and fortitude for a one on one debate. So they do what this dirt bag hipster looking punk does – character assassination that would make Goebbels proud.

Haven't seen the movie, not likely to, but: if it's her third kid she should know what's involved and how much work it is. Besides, it's the first kid that is usually the big shock since half the work and two thirds the stress of new parenthood is from the lack of experience with infants. Everyone I know with a third ( or more) kid says that the new baby is the least work of all the kids: it's the older ones that take up the time and cause the frustration. The infant just eats, shits and sleeps, and they are used to that.

They never understood the bigger picture that all whites are in it together. You just can’t get rid of 80% of the white race simply because you don’t like them and because they don’t max out the SAT and expect everything to work as it is now. Instead it will rot and collapse.

Why don't boys and girls forgo the Scouts and participate in 4-H?

You might think it is a hayseed version of the Scouts, but it has always welcomed both boys and girls while not being embarrassed by traditional gender interests. Instead of make-work Merit Badges, 4-H involves children in activites marking the passage into the adult world such as raising a calf, planting a crop, baking a cake, sewing a dress, or rebuilding an engine.

Dare I suggest that a Citizenship project in 4-H could involve participating in the "conversation" with iSteve? https://4h.extension.illinois.edu/members/projects

4-H would be a good alternative since you get to learn some useful, practical skills. I know at least in the more rural regions the 4-H is pretty intact. Can’t say much for what’s happening in the urban schools.

The way the Left is stinking up the country is beyond belief. Especially it’s war on boys.

First they dismantle shop classes in school. Can’t have them learning some practical skills. Sad when a adult male can’t do basic vehicle maintenance or even use a band saw properly.

Then PE gets stuffed in a closet. Hey lets pump junior full of Ritalin since he’s not allowed to run around on the playground anymore and stunt his development as a human being.

Boy Scouts become home to sexual predators and blue haired females and with that ends another healthy refuge for boys. I think the death knell for them was bringing in that nasty old WASP – Robert Gates to run it. Here was a man who rolled over his entire life to make promotions in the political arena. He is truly the man with no backbone and testicles. So of course he would shaft the Boy Scouts.

    Who cares about height?

Dutch may be tall but they are being overrun by Africans and Muslims.

South Koreans may be taller than North Koreans, but they are not having kids and SK is filling up with illegal invaders and Korean elites are turning PC in welcoming the newcomers and defending them against the native working class.

And Japanese may be taller today than decades ago, but it too is a dying nation.

Anglos and Germans are a taller people, but look what's happening. London is Lon-done, soon to be Long-gone. And Merkel that bitch harridan.

Maybe short people got no reason to live but tall people seem to have to reason to breed(unless they are Negroes).

Taller people means top notch investment in each child. Maybe that is not a good idea. Better to have three kids who aren't so tall than one kid who is tall. Filipinos may not as tall as they could be, but they are breeding and taking over Hawaii.

So, go for three medium height kids than one tall kid.

Too much emphasis on quality makes people not have kids unless they can be sure of the Best.

Height doesn’t matter. It’s so much d**k wagging BS by a bunch of bent over ectomorphic guys.

What is important is the fact that the current system makes it very difficult economically for white working and middle class whites to have and raise kids. There is little in terms of a social support structure there for them unlike the welfare class. Education options for their kids is depressing at best. Public schools infested with blacks and 3rd world peasants and a curriculum designed for the lowest common denominator. Private school is pretty much off the table for most. Home schooling is a option but it requires work on the part of the parents.

The brown skins don’t have these problems. They go on welfare and stay on it, churn out kids and don’t invest any time in them. Welfare provides them with everything.

While the upper middle-class and professionals have the resources not only to have and raise children properly, they just don’t. IMS they are not even at replacement levels.

Tall women have the same problem in the other direction. Attractive 6' women have a smaller pool of sexually attractive men to compete over. There's probably a roughly golden-mean of bodily proportion ratios between sexual partners. As I heard one woman put it, she wouldn't have sex with someone she felt she could hold in her lap.

An outlier phenomenon I've noticed is tall men with poor self-image/confidence. Short men seem to have powerful compensatory measures that kick in but I've met tall men who seem unable to capitalize on their height in the sexual market. Jeb Bush, who married his Aztec hotel room maid, is a good example.

Add the PEDs (“Mr Natty” is a myth), add the repetitive motion injuries, add the impact injuries, add the cumulative effect of the endless strain on bones/cartilage, add the damage from surgeries, add the cumulative damage from pain reliever dependence, etc.

What trigger? The insidious nature of cultural Marxism is ... insidious, i.e. slow. When you pull a trigger, say by busing lottery-selected White kids into Black neighborhoods, your musket explodes. In other cases it'll be a damp squib, as when Connecticut demanded guns be registered and the populace ignored the law.

"The whole point of nationalism is to fight other nations. "

I would agree that history has been little more than a story of warring states in a relentless competition for power. Hopefully that story is being brought to an end. I guess we'll see.

The nation-states did not cause those wars. That is a red-herring.

It was a select group of very rich and powerful men who were drivers of war and imperialism. From Republican Rome’s destruction of a prostrate Carthage to six centuries of insane wars to access the Persian gulf it was driven by greedy and powerful men which helped destroy the empire.

Not the people. But the Caesars, Pompey’s and Crassus;s want war.

When Europe developed into nation-states, it’s wars weren’t bottom up driven affairs, but done by the elite for the elite. The British East India company didn’t invade the far East because the masses of London clamored for it. They saw it as a looting expedition.

The U.S. is no different. Our people are mostly isolationist except for the old school WASP elite who embraced a imperialist foreign policy for their own ends in the late 18th century. WWI, we didn’t want to fight, but our elites made it happen anyway. Prior to Pearl Harbor we didn’t want to enter that European blood bath.

Today these elites want to dissolve the white nation-states and turn them into a sea of brown skinned populated labor pools to be exploited. It wikll only bring a genocide war against whites before it’s all said and done.

OT - I found this article because Jack Dorsey of Twitter tweeted it out as something one should read. The article is called, "The Great Lesson of California in America's New Civil War"

The article is in support of the recent creation of a one-party state in California being replicated across the USA. The authors describe California from the early 1990s until early this century as being ungovernable with Republicans blocking necessary change. They show that once CA became a Democrat super majority, things began to get done. They argue the same needs to happen across the USA and describe the political defeat of the GOP to a side that gets decisively defeated in a civil war.

    Here are some excerpts:

In short, California has a supermajority of 60 percent of the population, and thus a supermajority of elected officials, who share a common vision of a general way forward. Their differences are worked out within the confines of that general vision. California Republicans, like their conservative national colleagues, don’t share that general vision, and so they have been pushed out of serious political discourse. They were beaten, and beaten badly. And they almost certainly won’t be part of that discourse until they go through a lengthy process of reform over many years.

America is desperate for a functioning political supermajority that can break out of our political stasis and boldly move ahead and take on our many 21st-century challenges. The nation can’t take much more of our one step forward, one step back politics that gets little done despite the need for massive changes.

America can’t afford more political paralysis. One side or the other must win. This is a civil war that can be won without firing a shot. But it is a fundamental conflict between two worldviews that must be resolved in short order.

California, as usual, resolved it early. The Democrats won; the Republicans lost. The conservative way forward lost; the progressive way forward began. As we’ve laid out in this series, California is the future, always about 15 years ahead of the rest of the country. That means that America, starting in 2018, is going to resolve it, too.

The authors made it appear that the democrats won the argument. I followed the normal Sailer procedure and did a ctrl-F for "immigrat" and found no hits. I did it again for "demographic" and found no hits. The entire article was a rah-rah piece about the democrats winning the argument, becoming a super majority it CA and replicating this throughout the USA all without once referring to immigration, population change, etc.

Do lefties really not know they have lost the argument among whites, and that the only reason they have CA and potentially the rest of the USA is because of mass third-world immigration?

PS. Given Dorsey's recommendation of this of a super-majority, one-party state is it any wonder he spends his time banning conservatives from Twitter?

Do lefties really not know they have lost the argument among whites, and that the only reason they have CA and potentially the rest of the USA is because of mass third-world immigration?

Yeah they lost the white vote but they don’t care and yes they won it immigrants voting. It is the party of the brown and yellow skins.

What a clown like Dorsey doesn’t get the mega-welfare state of CA is only viable as long as the stock market bubble keeps going. When it bursts so does tax revenue and the state implodes.

That said the GOP lost CA for a number of reasons.
    1) It failed to cultivate and support populist type candidates. The old stodgy RINO-CUCKS like Whitman and Fiorina were vote killers. No one liked them, they are nasty open borders elitists cut from the same cloth as Ryan and McCain. I mean who in the hell thought a fired corporate CEO who ruined one of America’s premier tech firms and was openly hostile to American workers was a viable senate candidate.

    2) The people of CA wanted more than bullshit items like “tax cuts” and “banning abortion” as campaign items.

    3) The CA GOP is run by imbeciles and crooks. In 2016 the GOP fielded a array of dwarfs and lunatics for president, who all beat the drums for war with Russia and globalization. They made it clear they do not represent white America anymore than the Democrats do. There are exceptions but they are rare.

The fact is both parties today are anti-white. The GOP leadership just hides their contempt better.

Well the "native" founders of Australia must certainly have the capacity for such skills, otherwise Australia never would have become a first world country, but like in the rest of the western world there's an effort by the diversity industry to push these people out and replace them with foreigners.

There's also lax enforcement on rules against nepotism and other such things, as long as whitey isn't doing it anyway.

There isn’t a lack of brains and talent within the West. It’s just that our elite(in the U.S.) doesn’t cultivate and support them among lower class whites.

But when it comes to Asians, Arab, Black and Hispanic students, the schools fall all over themselves. Remember how Clockboy who became the toast of Silicon Valley and MIT?

If anything, our elites despise our native lower classes. Look at the Ivies, they were meant for the elite’s young adults and those from the lower classes who were promising. Now they have made room for hostile but monied foreigners and low IQ blacks at the expense of the talented native who could really benefit.

  • Australia’s current policy of not bothering to to do what it takes to get enough of its indigenous population to master needed bourgeois skills but instead importing a new managerial elite from abroad is not new in the long sweep of history

Yeah the Romans did that in the last two centuries. They tried educating barbarians and making them generals and part of the elite. It didn’t work out well for them. They still turned on them.

That said we have no policy or system to help white kids learn trades or get them into STEM courses. Instead all the effort is in getting unqualified females and minorities into college and STEM classes(remember Clockboy who was praised by the elite at MIT as a genius). Whites may as well FOAD. Oh wait a minute that’s what our elites intend for us anyway.

In regards to these Asians getting into all the exclusive schools. I am sure they are gaming the system and have had their spawn sent to all the test taking seminars and workshops they can find along with DVD tutorials. Get them tuned to a razor’s edge and of course they ace the exams. Cheating? it’s endemic in a any field were exams play a major role.

That’s what credentialism does. It erodes learning and thinking. It’s good at producing low performing drones with the right pedigree though.

BTW I used to see that in IT, by the early 2000′s we had young guys who had all the right certs CISCO, MS, Oracle and most of them were duds at work. You radically underestimate this fights and your opponents dedication. As Steve Bannon famously said:

"It is not only not going to get better, it is going to get worse every day."

"They're corporatist, globalist media who are adamantly opposed to an economic nationalist agenda like Donald Trump has," he said.

"Here's why it is going to get worse," he added. "Because as Donald Trump continues to push forward this agenda, and as economic conditions get better, as more jobs get better, they are going to fight.

"If you think they are going to give you your country back without a fight, you are sadly mistaken," he said. "Every day it is going to be a fight."

Trump isn't gutless, but he's just the president. He needs a larger politically active crowd that wields power on his side of the fight.

Trump has a club – it’s his base. If he goes out and has a dozen rallies explaining to the people about how congress is hostile to them and America and pointing a finger at Ryan and McConnell as the men who doing everything to stop MAGA and the Wall. I guarantee you that within a week both of these men will fold and run if he put a nationwide spotlight on them.

He won’t do this. Like Z-Man said, he’s a gutless windbag.

BTW here’s a tip. His staff is full of globalists and open borders types. That’s not what a nationalist leader has for his staff. You know what he did with his nationalists on his staff – he got rid of them. This is what Trump really thinks of us.

So what will happen? These jungle dwellers will walk across the border and be released into the U.S. where they will get free medical, food and housing for life. And this in turn will greenlight another million migrant invasion. So consider this a test run.

After the civil rights movements of the early 60's blacks were able to move freely in white neighborhoods opening up new areas for them to commit holdups, muggings, burglaries, rapes and car thefts. That there's a recent decline is attributable to people becoming more aware and avoiding 'bad neighborhoods'-meaning black areas-or other places where the diversity element seems to be high. Everybody has a cell phone and can call the police right away and the police can drive up fairly quickly.

Cell phones didn’t change much. It only lessened certain crimes of opportunity. In genera if a bad guy want to take your shit they will and cameras be damned. Remember you are dealing with highly impulsive people.

And yes in other cases people know to avoid high crime neighborhoods.

That said there is now a new form of crime – stealing packages left on doorsteps. The robbers do not care if they are being videoed since the chances of cops arresting them are slim to none.

Take home robberies, few report them unless they have insured high ticket items. People know full well the chances of recovering their stolen property is non-existent. (good thieves sell on Ebay today they do not use pawn shops) so why bother.

Still one of these days they’ll get some smart non-linear thinker to come up with some methods to bring down a city(it isn’t that hard, it just takes some research).

Straw poll: Will the white man ever wake up?
    Possible answers:
    A: Yes
    B: No
C: Yes but it will be too late.

At some level quite a few have considering over 70% of the people want immigration restricted and our borders secured.(Harvard study)

That’s as close as we’ll get to a objective measure. Whites know full well that more brown skins is bad for them.

Many also know full well that whites are targets of hatred by the blacks and have known this since forced busing and AA began. They are well awaye of the hatred promoted by radical professors on our college campuses and even public schools along with Hollywood. They also see the tribalism(identity politics) being promoted by the Democratic elite and that there is no place for them in the Democratic party.

And tribalism is very bad for whites since we’ve been demonized as the source of evil in the world. Tribalism followed to it’s logical conclusions means race war in this country. We saw a glimpse of our future at Trump’s rally in San Jose where all the blacks and Cholos showed up at the behest of the mayor and beat whites like a punching bag. Trump curled up and fled the state over that.

But there’s more!! Now the corporations are getting into hating whitey(hating conservatives – same thing) by censoring speech, searches, etc. Once Trump leaves it will get much worse for us.

  • Look at what’s going on in society.

The Democratic party is going full on tribal. Our universities are already tribal or will be. Corporations are taking the lead in censoring the internet against conservatives which means white people – look at Google and Facebook’s recent actions along with Citigroup, Dicks sporting goods, etc.

Anti-gun movement is basicaly anti-white. Always been, it’s a must have if you want to control and then eradicate whites.

Both parties united against Trump on immigration and trade. Both are white issues.

The Dems are full on anti-white and promoting black and hispanic tribalism. Which means violence in the not to distant future. Because that’s where tribalism leads.

The white elites have made it public that they want the white blue collars and middle-class to die off as soon as possible.

So what part of war against whitey and his society don’t you get?

So I guess we can chalk up being conservative to simply being irrationally fearful of Diversity, because Science. So now, because Science, we can officially say conservatives are suffering from a mental disorder--pathological xenophobia, I suspect--and thus must be cured or otherwise institutionalized.

It's the only way to be sure. Utopia awaits!

Yale’s English department was the first American university to embrace that toxic post-modernist Derrida.

If they were stupid enought to be impressed with his mental masturbation and all around toxic nonsense. It stands to reason the doyens of Yale will embrace and accept anything and they have.

That said, it’s this sort of insanity that just reaffirms what people like Jordan Peterson have stated that the university system is either dead or dying and it’s certainly not worth attending anymore.

we devote our lives to the same experiment, the American experiment

That's the problem. Brooks and his ilk view America as an experiment. We don't. It's our home not an experiment.

The elites do not care what we think because we have made ourselves irrelevant to them. We may be armed to the teeth, but as a group you couldn’t motivate whites to pay a visit to Brooks home and tar and feather the SOB. You don’t a horde of angry whites descending upon the Hamptons or any of the other pits where the elite dwell.

Nursing is a good one, because not a lot of money is needed to start.

You can do a 90-day Certified Nursing Assistant course and get a job anywhere, usually with plenty of overtime available. While working you can then complete a 10-month course to become Licensed Practical Nurse, then do another year to upgrade to the Associate Degree for Registered Nurse. After that you can continue part-time to acquire the Bachelor of Science of Nursing, and then enroll in graduate school to become a Certified Nurse Practitioner. Or you can end up teaching nursing.

There are also opportunities in many other health-related fields.

Teaching is another obvious one. Or running a daycare for children or seniors.

Auto repair shop, or used car lot. Automobile sales at a dealership. Car rental agent.

    Airline crew, gate agent.

    Life insurance sales.

Other profession would include law enforcement and prison management, highway patrol, officer of the court, probation officer, social worker.

Then really any type of local government, state, or federal employment, for example working in Driver License Office, state human resources and payroll.

You must think that the medical field is for dingbats and 85 IQ types. It isn’t.

The fact is you don’t want lots of blacks in the nursing field – it will ruin it. A lot of them don’t like whites and god help you if you get a nurse who hates you just for being white. And when you get a bunch of them together, their work ethic falls apart. Why in hell do you think the VA is so f-uped? It’s nursing staff composed of mostly blacks and some Filipinos with Hindu contract doctors – all lorded over over by a bunch of idiot white managers.

And becoming a RN – it’s a lot harder than you think and the schools are all backlogged with 18 month waits for classes. Of course you can go to a private RN school which charges $80k for a RN and you pay upfront.

And the intellectual demands get even harder if you’re going for a NP. I’ve yet to see a black NP in all my years of dealing with medical folks(mostly as a advocate for my parents).

Teaching isn’t a place for low IQ types period. The fact is public education is already loaded with dolts and dullards of various stripes and it harms the kids, especially the bright ones who end up languishing and being drugged by the system.

That’s our fate in 6 to 8 years when the Democrats take over. It’s not 1985 like a lot of alt-right types think.

Because the Left isn’t going to stop at just demonizing us whiteys. All the nasty shit that has festered in our universities is now leaking into the mainstream and it’s not good. It never stops at demonization. Demonization is the step to reduce your opponents to sub-human status so it makes it easier to commit violence against them when the time comes.

We already see bits and pieces of it where the Left is removing pieces of history from public grounds. changing names of schools, schools supporting radical agendas by busing students to protests, teachers brainwashing students into SJW thinking, enforced campus speech codes, open discrimination against whites, etc.

That said our AF and Navy are in bad shape. The AF is chronically short of pilots and can’t give them the seat time they need to maintain proficiency and lack skilled maintainers for their aircraft. The Navy is also hurting in terms of fielding carrier based fighters and also lack skilled maintainers.

The Army is in need of a hundred billion retrofit in terms of equipment to replace all the vehicles we ran into the ground in the ME. Oh yeah that downsizing the Army did cost them their most seasoned warfighters. The retrofit was never done and needs to be done. It will take years to re equip the Army.

Speaking about obituaries and media coverage, why is it Michael Levin received so much more coverage for being killed in battle than the vast majority of other soldiers in this century?

Here is the NY Times write-up on his funeral in 2006.

Here is the WaPo writing about his funeral in 2006.

In fact the WaPo briefly mentioned Michael in another story in 2014, eight years after his death.

Several thousand men and women have been killed in this century fighting for Uncle Sam. Yet most of the accounts of their deaths are little more than a DoD press release.

Here in Los Angeles county there is the murder of Blaze Bernstein by his goy friend. Blaze was a major Jew homosexual (with a name like Blaze) and his case had been getting major loca media coverage for about a month.

Now the kid was 18 and a non-entity except for his backdoor activity Yet the local news treats him like he’s some sort of local celebrity. He was already intot he anonymous sex scene as well.

Yet other people are killed every day and they are lucky to get 30 second one shot on the news. But Bernstein got minutes at a time for weeks on end.

Some groups are indeed more equal than others.

Trannies also get the same treatment(provided the killers are straight whites, otherwise they vanish). I remember a case of a local tranny who went from party to party to pick up on guys to do the “crying game” on them. He ended up getting beaten to death. His death was front page news for weeks (and they never mentioned he was a tranny trying to pick up straight guys).

I heard this same signaling theory of education from Larry Westphal back in 1995, so it's nothing new.

When I'm frustrated at the prospect of having to jump through the hoops of 5-7 more years of education, I am inclined to agree with Westphal/Caplan. However, when I consider the competitive society that Westphal helped create in South Korea, I am less enthusiastic.

The way a career in STEM is becoming near impossible thanks to our globalist loving elites. I’d tell smart kids today if they don’t mind getting dirty to consider a trade like being a welder, high voltage electrician, RN, HVAC, etc.

One the education is a hell of a lot cheaper and quicker, there is no PC/MC to put up with since that kind of work doesn’t attract harpies and stupid minorities with a entitlement complex.

Admittedly there is no prestige in such work. But you can make good money and generally be proud of the work you do.

The point is it’s not 1985 anymore. The obsession with SAT scores and college is a dead end because college is becoming a very expensive and destructive choice. It can damage kids or even mark them for life before they get going. Not to mention the costs and time can no longer be justified when STEM jobs can be done overseas or in sweatshops here.

Bryan Caplan in his recent book The Case against Education argues that the time spent getting a college degree is wasted because little you study is of any use, nor do you even remember much of it (and yes, he backs these assertions up with citations to research).

Caplan's view is that a degree is signalling, a sign that you possess:

    - Intelligence (high IQ or g, general metal ability)

    - High conscientiousness (on the five factor personality test)

    - High conformity (another personality trait, although not itself one of the five factor axes)

You can reasonably reliably test for intelligence, but not for the other two personality traits, since they are gameable. Personality tests are fairly transparent, simply asking you questions to which you need to give honest answers. Thus four years of time and six digits of debt is required to verify these traits.

Caplan thinks the feds should shut down the student loan system and that would go a long way to recalibrate the system. Fewer would go to college, employers would have to reconsider high school graduates since there would not be enough college graduates, and worthless degrees in the humanities, the arts, and social sciences would disappear since nobody would take on seven digits of debt for them.

What he doesn't consider is race. The system would be much better, but you'd have zero black college graduates (he supports a sub-high school credential and moving kids into vocational if they can't handle high school). Charles Murray in Real Education also ignores the race results of his proposals.

I don't think you can fix education until you explicitly admit that although blacks can be treated fairly, they cannot be treated equally.

There are several other reasons to avoid college.

    1) Cost. $100+k for a four year degree is insane. Maybe it’s chicken feed to most of the posters and readers here but to a lot of folks it means becoming a debt serf to uncle Sam. You’re only hope is to get a decent paying job long enough to pay it off before your jobs gets sent overseas.

    2) Off-shoring STEM jobs and importing foreign workers to replace Americans at home. Why bust your ass for a degree only to have your job and career taken away from you in a few years. Look at Silicon Valley, it went from white geeks to being populated by Bombay and Chinese grinders with only a smattering of white boys at the top.

And lets not forget age discrimination in the tech field. Get t0 40 and forget about being hired directly by a company. Maybe if you’re lucky you get a contract gig.

And now with the SJW peeps in position of power. Chances are your workplace will be Orwellian nature where you have to watch what you say and to whom lest some harpy gets wind of it and decides to get you fired.

Wage wise a CA cop or elevator repairman makes more than those high IQ freaks at Google.

The point is why bust your ass in such conditions that have made white collar jobs a living hell?

In unexpected events such as riots, natural disasters, one can't rely on the police. They just disappear. LA riots, Hurricane Katrina and every other such emergency the police melted away. They're looking out for numero uno for the most part with a few exceptions here and there. Look at the actual record.

Quite true. I remember during the King riots how they vanished across Los Angeles County – you couldn’t find a cop 80 miles East of LA. But I do remember carloads of mexicans and blacks cruising around town.

It was a scary. It took the Marines to re-establish order. Then the police showed up.

In the advent of a massive natural disaster, terrorist attack on the electrical grid or a SNAP card failure. Don’t expect the police to show up if you live in a urban or suburban area. Expect to be on your own.

This is true. Police are neither trained, equipped, or organized to handle any sort of serious SHTF situation, and their "leaders" are just ass-kissers who scored well on civil service exams. With ranks and uniforms, there is a pretense of paramilitary status, but it's a lot more "para" than "military".

  • Lots of comments at "No Country for White Men."
  • @Clyde
I haven't seen any Coen Bros movies and even I know they are all white affairs. OK I saw Miller's Crossing ages ago and was lukewarm about it. Hmmm..... Also saw True Grit and No Country but did not know they were by the Coens. No Country for Old Men was stupid evil incoherent dreck. These are Steve's geniuses?

No Country for Old Men and True Grit have been the only Coen movies I’ve seen. I’d rate No Country 5/10 – basically a dismal version of Charley Varrick(1973) which I think is better. Coen’s True Grit, lacked the charm of the previous version.

As for movie makers I like Sam Peckinpah and the guy who did the spaghetti Westerns – Sergio Leon. Of course the John Wayne version of True Grit. High Noon is on my list as well.

To be honest I don’t quite get the fascination with the Coen brothers. The two movies I’ve seen and snippets of Fargo are just average viewing fare.

If I want gritty realism I’ll watch “Dirty Jobs” with Mike Rowe, he has on real people with real jobs who actually work for a living on his show as opposed to those freaks in Hollywood who haven’t a clue how ordinary people work and behave.

OT Boris Johnson is calling the UK's latest poisoning of a Russian expat an "act of war" by Russia. They've been pushing for a war with Russia for years, ramped it up since the Trumpening. I like to think the adults are in charge now and would stop it. But the fact that we have high-ranking people in every Western government who want to start a nuclear war -- and whose motive for starting it is solely to distract people from how cravenly inept and destructive our government has become -- makes me hope that there can be some terrible, tangible thing that could make even Boris Johnson shut up.

Over at the blog GatesofVienna they pointed out that outside of Trump the rest of the Western leaders are either childless males or females. You have to go to old East Bloc countries to find leaders who have families.

Emmanuel Macron, the newly elected French President, has no children.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has no children.
Austria’s Chancellor Sebastian Kurz has no children
British Prime Minister Theresa May has no children.
Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni has no children.
    Holland’s Mark Rutte,
    Sweden’s Stefan Löfven,
    Luxembourg’s Xavier Bettel, and
Scotland’s Nicola Sturgeon, all have no children.
Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission, has no children.

The point is none of the the elite have skin in the game and don’t have to worry about the future.

Compare them to the Visgrad Four who have 26 children between them.

The Western leaders are not normal people but deviants(homos?) of one stripe or another. This is evidenced by their embrace of suicidal policies and desire to go to war against Russia.

This also explains their hatred of Trump. He is the antithesis of them.

  • From my new column in Taki's Magazine: Sure, Terry Bryant "stole" Frances McDormand's Oscar. But he's a black man. Haven't you heard about #OscarsSoWhite? And what's all this gender binary stuff about Best Actress? So, as explained by the Theory of Systemic Intersectionality, Mr. Bryant deserves a Best Actress Oscar more than a white woman...
  • @Selvar
Sorry Steve, my eyes saw the word "Oscars" and just sort of glazed over. Does anyone really care what thees inane virtue signalers think anymore? Personally, I'd save time and just do this:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W0MlUBFFxA

Spot on. Nobody cares anymore what those Hollywood creeps say or do. They made it clear they despise white Americans and their values. So f**k them.

    Same with the NFL.

  • From the Washington Post: Do you ever get the impression from reading the Washington Post that its owner Jeff Bezos's sympathies lie more with owners than with workers? I don't mean to imply that the World's Richest Man isn't wholly unbiased on the question of grinding the faces of workers, but, yeah, actually, I do...
  • Sometime back Motherjones did a article on Hormel who pretty much went down the same route as all the other meat packers – get rid of American workers and replace them with disposable, low wage illegals.

    https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2011/06/hormel-spam-pig-brains-disease/

Well that also allowed Hormel to engage in practices that were illegal when they employed Americans, practices that got a lot of illegals sick that worked in their processing plants since they were inhaling aerosolized raw meat which ruined the health of a lot of them over time.

The thing that people don’t get, is that companies who go out of their way to employ illegals often treat them like shit and screw them over on their wages because the employer can always fire them and replace them with another disposable worker. I know I used to work for several CA companies directly that did that.

  • Yesterday, a giant bronze statue of the late crack-smoking mayor of Washington DC, Marion Barry, was unveiled at a celebration in the nation's capital. Meanwhile, the northern California town of Arcata's city council has voted to take down its statue of President William McKinley. From North Coast Journal: McKinley Statue is Coming Down, But Not...

Yea, that's not going to work. It's naive to think that peaceful separation is possible. You think Jeff Bezos, Sheryl Sandberg, Mark Zuckerberg, et al will allow the majority of Americans to break free from their clutches? The globalists will never settle for less than total victory.

We either beat them everywhere or be written into the history books as the villains.

We either beat them everywhere or be written into the history books as the villains.

Indeed there is no accommodation with them. Segregation from them doesn’t work. They are never content, for them to see white people living, happy productive lives and not having to deal with 3rd world scum is the greatest of insults. Look how the Visgrad group and Russia drives Merkel, EU and our State Department nuts.

Their jihad will not be done until ALL whites are under their yoke and being crushed into oblivion.

If we fight these cosmopolitan whites we have to totally destroy their lives and institutions that help create them. As for supporting institutions those are self-evident.

How I would love to see those idiots facing a raiding party of Comanches under an infamous Comanche Moon, circa 1850.

We sane White Men are really hated by the "New Americans" and their cucked compatriots. I mean really hated. Think of how evil and murderous Mao and Stalin were. That is what these people would like to do us. They want us dead in the most horrific manner possible. We have passed the Rubicon, there is no United States anymore. Anyone here under the illusion that we are dealing with non-evil people on the other side should have their head examined.

That is why it is of utmost importance to protect the 2A at all costs. Without that we are very, very screwed. Again, Stalin and Mao were responsible for tens of MILLIONS of deaths of their "own people". If you don't think that can happen here you are crazy.

Very true, remember when the Bernie Bro shot up a bunch GOP congressmen? Did you notice the Democrats didn’t say one word about gun confiscation. IOW they approved of the mass assassination scheme.

What we are seeing now from the Left and globalists is the testing and maneuvering as to how far they can f**k with us without eliciting a kinetic response. It will just keep getting worse. as they control the levers of power in society and the corporate world. I suspect they;kk ghettoize us first and that’s already happening both in culture and the corporate and political domains.

The fact is we are one presidential election away from it becoming a full blown civil war. God help us if a Kamala or Oprah gets in they’ll gut the 1A and 2A like a fish and then come after us.

  • From Labour Economics in 2011: Around 1993-94, a baseball player's agent told me, "Jose Canseco is the Typhoid Mary of steroids." • ‘roids work and work well, especially on gifted athletes with good training habits. I saw the results in bodybuilding 30 years ago at the local gym. Also with track and field athletes, wrestlers, UFC cage fighters, etc.

Using them in competition it meant the difference between bronze and gold medals. From the looks of it, even Hollywood has caught on to the benefits of ‘roids for actors who need to get muscular real fast for certain roles.

Yeah there are different kinds of ‘roids. Some just build mostly strength others build bulk, etc.

Problem is there are real downsides to using them in larger dosages. You become more injury prone, get strange injuries, get real pimply like a giant zit, your nads shrink, you’re prone to rages, damages the endocrine system, ages you and can kill you. BB and pro wrestling are littered with corpse because of ‘roids. Smart guys like Sylvester Stallone who use ‘roids the way normies use vitamins pills is a example of how to do them right. But he’s not dosing at the levels of a pro athlete, he just wants to stay buff.

Bottom line; Professional athletes are always looking for a edge and they know ‘roids work, this is why they gravitate to using them.

    Good points.

Lots of roid users have really weird physiques. They look almost like they're the product of some weird science experiment. You can always tell a roid user apart from the natural guys. The roid users have muscles that look like they're about to explode, guts that portrude, bulging muscles in weird places (like their neck), asymmetric muscle development, lots of acne, skin discoloration, funny looking faces, and other issues with their physical aesthetics.

They seem to get injured a lot too and often have to quit going to the gym for a while.

Another thing is that they're physiques vary wildly over the course of only a few months. I've seen roids users go from super jacked to skinny in just 3-4 months. I remember one guy at my gym, who's a white ex-criminal, went from having a WWE cartoonish physique to being about as skinny as a high school kid. It was weird to see.
