Not a day goes by when the liberal media don’t telegraph to the world that a “Trumpocracy” is destroying American democracy. Conspicuous by its absence is a pesky fact: Ours was never a country conceived as a democracy. To arrive at a democracy, we Americans destroyed a republic. One of the ways in which the...

    A. Go review the history of NYC -- then get back to me. And stunningly, go listen to Mayor Laguardia's speech to the black churches.

    B. Uhh not in question, but you are bypassing the point --- voting rights enacted 1964 -- so for 100 years minus 1 -- those rights were abridged. That has consequences. And undermines your case. Correcting a wrong, doesn't dismiss that a wrong was done and has consequences. Well, I would contend that the current realignment of the former colonial occupied states have done far more -- even with its. I think even the law enforcement community would shy away from your comment about police behavior - good grief. They minimize it -- but dismissing it out of hand as you have - that's pretty barren fair.

    C. Go do the math and look at the figures. Even Fox news admits this obvious data set. Affirmative action as I noted previously absolutely did not require nor does it require a lowering of test scores. The students in colleges graduate at about the same rate as whites. And just to head you off at the pass, there are more students in college and HS that graduate than there are blacks in prison.

    D. I did not say that prison reform did not include issues as to blacks. I said prison reform is not uniquely to blacks - I think the historical record makes that abundantly clear.

    E. Well, I am not going to attend issues of preferential treatment. But redress is a constitutional issue. Civil suits. So if there is measurable harm due to practices by entities involving violations of the constitution -- redress is not an uncommon manner of dealing with correction. As I stated, i hesitate to have a discussion with someone who thinks according to your opening statement in the previous comments. Now normally I would cite sources. But as I have done that numerous times here and on TAC, I am going to forgo repeating that work for the time being.

Look your logic is a conundrum for you and you'll have to unravel it. Especially once you grant out that the implication that obviously discrimination went unredressed for 100 years minus 1. Making a claim that it has gone unimpeded, ignores what happened in Florida in 2000 and the careless application of criminal background checks --- the carelessness of the Carolina legislature in identifying black voters in applying voter ID legislation -- as someone who supports voter ID -- it was a foolish, tragic and disappointing move that indicates that nearly the entire legislature used color as a measure above citizenship --- incomprehensible and as a conservative - frustrating.

    Now my view,

    1. the supreme court did exceed its mandate on busing - their ruling simply should have been every facility, every system, every service must be equal in all ways at all times --

    2. Since violating the rights of citizens is against the law, I am at a loss why there was a need for civil rights legislation save that states were absolutely intent on violating the rights of citizens despite the law and they needed to impugned with a reminder, I am not a fan of laws to reinforce laws -- seems redundant to me.

    3. You simply cannot have such massive nation wide discriminatory practices and not have consequences. I care not a twiddle what blacks, whites, asians, mexicans or my supposed intellectual betters think --- such practices have consequences -- whine as you will about it. The issue is whether it needs to be addressed, redressed and how. If you need a more tangible view, dig into military history and the blacks who served and attempt to calculate the consequences.

This is one issue in which I don't truck with foolishness. One doesn't need a BA degree to comprehend the history and consequence.

You will have to explain the redress for having provided preferential treatment for whites. If I steal your car and give it to my grandson (I don't have any kids). You will pursue redress despite the fact that my grandson did not steal the car, even if getting that car back means, my grandson has to drop out of school. He will not be able to make a claim that you are being given preferential treatment or that said redress is unfair -- there's a price to rebalance.

Now I am not an advocate for any this or that. I take the issues as they come. And before we can discuss AA you have to know what it is, why and its application --

you don't. You don't even know who the beneficiaries are.

I’ve read through your two comments and, as usual, I am amazed at how people who are so very misinformed, can be so very sure of themselves. Similar to the way a communist, despite all the evidence of the horrors of communism, still pushes communism. Well, I suppose you’re not really hurting anyone, so I won’t bother with you anymore. Best of luck.

By the way, blacks were able to, and did vote prior to the Civil Rights Act. No Americans alive today ever owned a slave, the overwhelming majority of Americans alive today aren’t even related to anyone who owned a slave, and more than half the states fought a war that freed the slaves. Nothing is owed to blacks, especially not over 150 years since slavery ended.

Sure blacks did vote. But that did not stop states in the country for manufacturing ways to abridge those citizenship rights.

Our discussion is not really about slavery. It's about the rights abridged after the 14th amendment. An d on that score the record is overwhelmingly clear that blacks were targeted for discrimination -- I would love to rewrite history to tell a different story. I would love to rewrite the history of Oakland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Urbana, St.Louis, Detroit, Allentown, Philadelphia, Dallas Houston, Boston, Miami, Memphis, Pittsburgh, Phoenix, and dozens and dozens more across the country, small towns like Hays, Killeen, Springfield, Charlestown, and a hundreds more.

I would love to sat that white women are not as culpable as white men I would like to say, that our society did not leverage women against black men to enforce laws and deny them opportunities to excel I would like to say, they are no consequences for past offenses.

History in every category of US life tells me I cannot. I would like the kumbaya wold you claim -- but it did not exist and does not exist instead whites of every political brand prefer to import foreigners under the guise that blacks are simply unworthy or that other trick of rhetoric, it helps everyone, -- --- that my conscience will not accept.

I would love to embrace the idea that the founders did not utterly blow the deal when they made color an issue and legalized slavery, whatever my stark differences with blacks on polity, I won't pretend another reality because its inconvenient to face the hard truth or because I will be more acceptable.

There's a war on and blacks are the least of that problem

this is a common instance your own references defeat your contention. Here's your comment,

"Nowhere on this planet has a people done more for a minority than Americans have done for blacks, welfare, voting rights, prison reform, affirmative action and you claim the law “still” favors Whites?"

A look at the history of welfare demonstrates that blacks did not really get welfare until the 1960's. The policy regarding welfare even under the new deal policies of democrats were that they were reserved for whites, even in NYC.. Given the failures all initiated by whites, it's pretty clear that blacks were denied help given to whites That is usually referred to as unequal treatment under the law. And when blacks did begin to get welfare -- it did not go expressly to blacks, but the population as a whole, primarily whites ---

I am not sure why you introduce voting rights -- it by definition means that the country denied voting rights to a segment of the population who were citizens -- the very purpose of the 14th amend. In other words despite the law, whites discriminated against blacks and did not correct it until 100 years later -- I think there are some serious consequences for that discrimination on the population denied --

AA -- I have dealt with this previously as hijacked by whites: homosexual practitioners and white women, and other assorted groups cataloged as white -- for good reason

I think it's a forgone conclusion that prison reform was not a black targeted issue Prison reform has been an issue in the US since there were prisons and when people were placed in stocks. But the data is strongly in favor that blacks were targeted for discrimination in prisons -- well criminal justice as a whole. Regardless of what you want the stats to say, citizenship is the standard for treatment

It might be a good idea if we just treat citizens as citizens and stop attempting fix the mistakes of the past by importing a bunch of people whose sole goal is to make a dollar at our expense.

It’s interesting that someone could be so wrong about so many things in one comment. It’s truly amazing.
    1. In NYC, which admittedly had a very low population of blacks during FDR’s term, there were never any restrictions on them receiving welfare.
    2. No country on earth has set up a system that guarantees the voting rights of minorities like the system set up in the US. This shows that blacks, for over 50 years have been not only free to vote, but have been protected by the vast US law enforcement system.
    3. You’re wrong about affirmative action, too. Blacks receive jobs, school admissions and promotions through AA at a much higher rate than the groups you mentioned. There would be virtually no blacks at any Ivy league schools if we went by their actual test scores.
    4. Perhaps you should read some current events. The Congressional Black Caucus, as well as Black mayors and city council members have made prison reform one of their top issues, since so many of their people spend time in prison, due to the high number of felonies they commit.
    5. I agree that we should treat all citizens as citizens and stop giving preferential treatment to any group, including blacks.

And before we can discuss AA you have to know what it is, why and its application --

you don't. You don't even know who the beneficiaries are.

    , @EliteCommInc.
Note: L'est there be any attempt to challenge my veracity, I did not say that blacks did not make gains under AA. I said they are not the largest groups to benefit. I stand by my position.

I wasn’t trying to imply that the Germans were going to set up some kind of camp where Poles and Czechs would be systematically “eliminated” until there were millions of “survivors” collecting benefits. My point was that Czechoslovakia was basically eliminated as a sustainable nation with the loss of the Sudetenland and Poland was in the way of Lebensraum. Am I wrong? Wasn’t it Herr Hitler’s desire to incorporate most, if not all, of Poland under the Greater Reich? I mean he did sign a treaty with the Communists, dividing and eliminating Poland between them. Had he defeated the Soviets, I don’t think Poland, as a nation, would have existed.

    Hi Rich,
Recall that what initiated this line of discussion was your claim that 'there wouldn't be many Czechs & Poles left'. That certainly implies 'elimination'. The calm, respectful nature of your follow ups are appreciated, however.

Czechoslovakia simply lost the Sudetenland, which wasn't Czech anyway.
Germany was asked by Czech President Hacha to protect the rest of Czechoslovakia from outside interference.
Your speculation about Poland and 'lebensraum' is just that. Certainly Germany wanted their seized lands back and actually made very fair 'demands' on Poland prior to conflict.

Germany's treaty with the USSR resulted in Germany designating large amounts of Poland in their sector that was not intended to be Germany, shown on maps as 'Government General'.
    http://memorial-wlc.recette.lbn.fr/lcmedia/map/lc/image/pol61040.gif
It's difficult to know how much land Germany would have kept had they won. It would seem to me that 'Gov't General' may well have been the next Poland, though the USSR certainly had no provisions for Poland whatsoever.

It's always revealing to see the lack of criticism of the communist USSR who seized 60% of Poland.

Well, I don’t know about that. Lebensraum meant that the Germans needed more land for their people and Poland was certainly in the way of this expansion. Czechoslovakia was considered an”economic region” by the Nazis, and Hitler himself had a personal animus toward the Czechs, at least from everything I’ve read. After the Germans took the Sudetenland they left Czechoslovakia pretty much indefensible and at the mercy of the German miltary.

As I noted in my comments, no one talks about what brought this issue to the fore - it was the inequity and the general practice by whites to bar access to and participation as citizens. I don't defend the the side issues.

White the justice makes that observation -- the evidence rested on equity and when whites based equity on skin color -- linked to better -- making skin color and skin color alone a factor -- they lose the debate because nothing about skin color is superior and to enact laws on that falsehood violated the 14th.

This is not kike marriage, this not like sex/gender part of that race to link IQ and moral superiority to skin color genetic coding is to justify previous practices and support said practices in the future. But the constitutional standard for equal treatment is not anything except citizenship. So unless whites are prepared to spend the needed dollars to ensure every government service and facility is equal in every way to blacks --- you are trying to untangle the polity from a peculiar angle.

Busing was not intended to integrate for the sake of integration. It was evident that the states and the federal system had segregated on the basis of ensuring better services to whites -- inequity on its face. Once in school and note these are public schools tax funded -- no one is forcing whites and backs to mingle. The class is public class, school kids sit as they sit or as arranged by the instructor citizens are entitled to access to school regardless of color.

It is unfortunate you referenced this,

"Civil rights legislation and affirmative action have created inequalities and unequal protection under the law favoring blacks and other minorities yet somehow these laws don’t get struck down under the 14th amendment."

The law favored whites for more than 200 years and still does. AA was an attempt to redress that imbalance. Furthermore, instead of benefitting blacks AA has actually gone to whites by more than 70%..

“The law that favored White people for 200 years and still does”. Nonsense. Blacks are given jobs solely based on the color of their skin. Affirmative action in school admissions, hiring and promotions is already completely out of hand. The US put an inept, first term Senator into the office of President because of the color of his skin. If a White person has a fight with a black, he’s automatically put under suspicion of committing a hate crime. In Queens NY a White kid received an additional 10 years in prison for a fight he had with a black who was robbing cars in his neighborhood for allegedly calling the thief a bad word. Police are routinely suspended and face criminal charges if forced to use lethal force on black criminals. Black criminality is the reason Whites used to pass laws to separate themselves from blacks. Just look at the stats. Nowhere on this planet has a people done more for a minority than Americans have done for blacks, welfare, voting rights, prison reform, affirmative action and you claim the law “still” favors Whites?

That book they made you read in the 8th grade “To Kill a Mockingbird”, was fiction. Look at the actual crime statistics and understand why the law “favors” Whites. It’s because Whites, and Asians for that matter, obey the law.

And when blacks did begin to get welfare -- it did not go expressly to blacks, but the population as a whole, primarily whites ---

    , @anarchyst
I have come to the conclusion that enacting of the so-called "civil-rights" acts were mistakes. The more "rights" blacks demand, the more they complain and make demands not available to whites. When whites become a "minority" in our own country, do you think the "civil-rights" acts will benefit us? I think not...

When whites become a minority, this country is finished. All one has to do is look at Zimbabwe, South Africa, and other black-run "basket cases". This is our future...

    That being said...

The term "racism" was invented by communists, and is used to destroy cultures and defuse (and render impotent) those with differing points-of-view on "racial" issues.

True "racism" is desirable as it merely cements cultural and social bonds that are necessary for a society to function and flourish.

True "racism" merely denotes commonality of purpose and advancement within each respective racial group.

Blacks have the NAACP and Congressional Black Caucus, Hispanics have La Raza and Mecha, Jews have the $PLC, ACLU and ADL. These are all "racist" organizations that serve to promote the interests (and political power) of their respective races.

It is only whites who are castigated and threatened for attempting to show any signs of racial solidarity.

Let's look at what us "evil, privileged" whites have done for Western society and the world:

    1. "Civil-rights (for some)" laws (that effectively destroy "freedom of association" for whites, but not for other races) and do not apply to whites--only "people of color" are covered by these so-called "civil-rights (for some)" protections.

    2. "Affirmative action" policies (that push better qualified whites out of positions and jobs that they would ordinarily qualify for) in favor of lesser-qualified minorities. In fact, "affirmative action" policies actually damage those minorities who are quite capable of "making it on their own" because they get "lumped in" with the groups that cannot make it on their own without "help",

    3. "Contract set-asides" (that are specifically targeted for minorities (that white people are prohibited from bidding on) and immigration policies (that specifically exclude whites, most of who have skills that would benefit the USA) in favor of those from the third-world (with no marketable skills).

    4. Scholarships that specify particular ethnic groups are looked upon favorably by most people, save one--scholarships that are intended for whites only are looked upon as being "racist", and therefore impermissible and improper in today's racially-charged climate of "political correctness".

NO OTHER RACE (BUT WHITES) HAS (EVER) BENT OVER BACKWARDS to assure that all non-white races receive a "fair shake" in being a part of American life, even to the detriment and social well-being of "our own kind" (whites).

Whites possess an externalized altruism that no other races possesses. This externalized altruism that "looks out for the other guy" will be the demise of the white race. This altruism needs to be internalized and focused inward, just as other races have done. There is NO SHAME in looking out for one's own kind.

I blame those of the "greatest generation" for selling out our birthright with the passage of the "Civil-Rights Acts" of 1957 and 1964, and the "Hart-Cellar immigration act of 1965". To those of the "greatest generation" (who are still alive) thanks for NOTHING...

Let's not forget that "freedom of association" (but only affecting the white majority) was eviscerated by the enacting of these clearly unconstitutional acts.

As whites comprise only 6% of the world population, it is us whites who should be the most protected and cherished of minorities...

"Multiculturalism" and "diversity" are code-words for white genocide.

States that violated the citizenship rights as to elections, right to education, employment entrepreneurship, etc based solely n skin color were in violation of the 14th amendment.

Note: I am going to make a distinction rarely made in these discussions. The issue was not really segregation -- the issue was equal service and equal treatment, If the states wanted to keep blacks and white separate, I don't think blacks would have cared much -- but for on e issue -- the lack of equal standing under the law.

When whites used color as a means of defining better, they essentially set themselves u for a violation ---

The standard was separate but equal. They failed the equal test and as such they offered no remedy, so the courts remedied. The issue swirls around segregation in discussion -- but the segregation was only at fault because it was disparate.

For close to 100 years, segregation was allowed. It was allowed by the very men who wrote the Amendment, but in 1954 the wording that in 1870 allowed segregation, no longer applied? Do you think the schools in the South were better in 1896 when segregation was perfectly acceptable, were more “equal”? The Amendment wasn’t meant to force Whites to send their kids to school with blacks, or allow blacks to move into White neighborhoods or to force affirmative action on the White populace. In fact, in the decision Warren wrote “Does the segregation of children in public schools solely on the basis of race, even though the physical facilities and other tangible factors may be equal deprive children of the minority group of equal educational opportunities? We believe that it does.” They didn’t care if the facilities and quality of education were equal, that didn’t factor into the decision. They made their decision based on their own ideology, not on the basis of law. There is absolutely nothing in the 14th Amendment that says blacks and Whites must be forced to live and go to school together. Nothing.

The 14th amendment was to expressly prohibit the states from reintroducing slavery or any way discriminate against feed slaves.

The Brown decision was to that very issue. How we have mangled that into murdering children in the womb defending legal marriage between to people of the same sex, and denying the freedom to express religious faith has more to do with the peculiar notions the dominant population has about getting their way at any cost.

The south fired the first shots in anger and they got a response. That war increased the power of the federal government -- subsequent continued violations against certain populations required federal involvement as the south and the states refused to ensure the protections of US citizens.

It would have been a fascinating debate -- cessation from the union -- the south made it a war from the outset and shorted any discussion, and that is unfortunate.

It’s true that the 14th Amendment was used in the Brown v Board of Ed decision, but it was a stretch for the Supreme Court to do so. The 14th Amendment was adopted in 1868 and for nearly 100 years segregation was the accepted law of the land. If the men who wrote the Amendment, then forced it down the throats of the former Confederate States allowed segregation to exist, even in many Northern States, obviously the Amendment wasn’t meant to force integration. The Brown decision was plainly wrong, based on law, but at least it made liberals feel good about themselves, and that’s the important thing.

The Iranians will never accept American control over the Mideast oil supply, while the Saudis have signed on as long as we provide military protection. If the US ever allows the petrodollar to fail, its economy will crumble. That won’t be allowed to happen without a fight.

    good!

the 'petrodollar' / Federal Reserve Note / fiat debt slavery for the planet, is the weapon with which the Fiend menaces mankind.

the sooner it implodes, the better. And I'm a working class American who would suffer economically from such an event, which I nonetheless pray for to happen, and happen soon.

well, I don't see a whole lot of difference between the Deplorables and the alt-right. And he never misses a chance to sling vitriol at the Deplorables - people who're slated for the ash-heap of history, and expected to pay for the privilege.

The Deplorables / alt-right, are the very people who resisted the wars and liars who foist them. They're the people who demand the Rule of Law, and that includes International Laws as well.

It's rather inconvenient for those people who would like to select which laws they feel suit their agendas.

The zio-cons that Fred here tepidly laments, find international laws inconvenient, and so they ignore them.

Fred's patrons find N. America's immigration laws inconvenient, and so he calls anyone who recognizes them 'deplorable' (and racist and gas station louts).

    Deplorables = alt-right = Rule of Law = peace = truth.

zio-con scum (and their apologists) = wars = debt = Total surveillance police state = transformational, unlimited immigration = hatred = strife = criminality = centralized power = exploding wealth gap = Zionist absolute control of all information and governments and implementation of Orwellian hell on earth so that everyone becomes equal.

quite a stark difference in world views.

I spent a great deal of time looking into Mr Lynn’s claims, and it turns out, at least from the research I did, he based Ashkenazi IQ on estimates.

I'll admit I never looked beyond the numbers in Lynn's table and the interesting historical trend since he's the world's foremost compiler of IQ lists and the issue was rather peripheral to me. However, it's certainly clear that the IQ of Ashkenazi Jews is far above that of Sephardic ones, and I think that much of the remaining US/Israeli gap is also explained by socio-economic factors, which I think I demonstrated have far greater impact on IQ scores than is generally acknowledged in HBD circles:

    http://www.unz.com/runz/race-iq-and-wealth/

And although it's certainly possible that Lynn's Jewish samples aren't representative, I really wonder how many of the hundreds of other IQ samples he's collected are all that representative either. There's really a huge amount of fuzziness in all these IQ figures floating around.

Incidentally, just yesterday I announced I was adding a "Controversial" Books section to this website, and I'm pleased to say that Lynn has given me his Jewish IQ book to include. Here's the link, and everyone can read about Jewish international achievements to your heart's content:

I agree with you that socio-economic conditions probably have a very high impact on IQ scores. There does seem to be a significant differences between Caucasian and Negro IQ which may have some genetic component, but in the end, how smart does a person need to be in order to prosper and live a good life? We’ve all known the guy who did poorly in school, but through hard work and perseverance, was able to become a great success. And the flip side of that, I’m acquainted with several people who were super smart in school, high IQ, high grades, who had a lot of difficulty in life and aren’t all that successful.

IQ is interesting, but I’m bothered by individuals who want to use it, without actual evidence, as proof of their superiority. Or in many cases, with excuses for their lack of success.

After an exhaustive search, I have been unable to find a single IQ test that separates Ashkenazi Jews in the US or Europe that shows a higher IQ than anyone else.

Actually, I don't think that's correct. Prof. Richard Lynn, dean of all the IQists, wrote an entire book about Jewish ability, in which he included 32 separate tests of Jewish-American IQ he had managed to locate, of varied degrees of validity, whose fascinating historical pattern I discussed in one of my columns:

    http://www.unz.com/runz/raceiq-super-flynn-effects-in-germans-jews-and-hispanics/#p_1_8

Based on everything I've seen, I'd say that the mean IQ of American Jews in recent decades has probably been roughly 110 or so, considerably above the white average. However, numerous other white sub-populations, mostly far greater in size, also have IQs well above the white average. So taking all these factors into account, I'd guess that roughly 80-90% of high-IQ American whites are non-Jewish. Jews are certainly well above average, but not *that* much above average...

I spent a great deal of time looking into Mr Lynn’s claims, and it turns out, at least from the research I did, he based Ashkenazi IQ on estimates. I’d be more than happy to argue the methodology of the test, which was my original thesis, that the Ashkenazi chosen for the test would be from upper to upper middle class, urban/suburban areas, where all White test takers would probably average around 110, but I couldn’t find the test. You’d think such a test would be easy to find, I’d think it would be a symbol of pride for those who claim Ashkenazi background, but after spending way too much of my time looking, the only test I could find was the one from the Israeli Army, which didn’t separate out Ashkenazi from Sephardic and gave 95 as the result.

From my inability to locate a test, and for the data to be proven we’d need more than one test, I think that high Ashkenazi IQ is just another ethnic myth. If you find the test, I’d appreciate letting me know, because I’ve been making this argument about there being no actual test for some time, and to date, no one has produced one.

The key to understanding modern America is to forget about race and religion and look at IQ instead. In raw numbers, Jews are "over-represented" in the elites but if you adjust for IQ, they are just where you would expect them to be. Instead of "Jews" say "high IQ elites" - high IQ elites are disproportionately Jewish but not just Jewish - they are WASP and Asian too. And instead of blacks say "low IQ" and instead of "whites" say "middle IQ". Modern America is based on a high-low coalition against the middle. The elites provide the intellectual leadership and the low provide the voting masses (in exchange for goodies) and they squeeze the middle to pay for it all.

As you point out, blacks and Hispanics don't really compete with Jews for the same jobs (except perhaps inside the Democrat Party hierarchy) so the deal that you are proposing is a non-starter. The calculus that the elites made in 2016 was that the high-low coalition was numerically strong enough to rule and they were ALMOST right. But 2016 might have been a last gasp as the demographics only continue to move in their direction.

After an exhaustive search, I have been unable to find a single IQ test that separates Ashkenazi Jews in the US or Europe that shows a higher IQ than anyone else. All the talk about high Ashkenazi IQ is based on “estimates”. In the US, no test separates out groups based on religion. The only test available for Jews as a separate group is from Israel, it doesn’t separate the Ashkenazi from the Sephardic, and the result is a 95 IQ.

Jews, or at least their leaders, appear to be very unaware. My job puts me in touch with many Hispanics and blacks, and they, unprompted, always express disdain for Jews. Always. Whites, for the most part, don’t seem to care, or comment on how smart and successful Jews are. It’s interesting that having invested so much of their goodwill in minorities, they don’t see how hated they are by the groups they promote. I’m about twenty years younger than Mr Derbyshire, but I remember when TV shows had all-White casts, every commercial didn’t show an interracial couple and Whites actually had pride in themselves. My father grew up in a NYC that was over 90% White and where a smart kid could go to college on the cheap, or take a test and land a good job at a good company. Now these poor White kids have to sacrifice their futures to the god “Diversity”, and many of them are so brainwashed, they believe it’s a good thing.

Derbyshire could have started or participated in movements to stop the invasion of England. But what did he do? He imported himself to the USA. Then, he imported a brown Chinese woman and had Chinese offspring with her. The now American Chinese woman and Chinese daughter voted for Obama. Derbyshire is partial to Ivanhoe. His son will never be an Ivanhoe. He is infamous for his "The Talk" article. Obviously, he did not have the talk with his Chinese wife and daughter. And if he did, they ignored him. When Derbyshire lived in England, it was still a Christian country. Now he is an atheist and he wrote in article that he does understand Christians. He will help his pagan Chinese wife with her pagan ancestor worship rituals. Maybe Derbyshire doesn't like the speech because of his Chinese family. (Along these lines, I believe far more Dutch civilians were killed by Allied bombing during their “liberation” than under German occupation.) Either a blind eye was turned towards these things by US commanders, or official sanctions were unevenly applied (e.g. mainly against black troops).

Well, you’ve got the wrong guy if you think I’m one of those who believe the WWII generation was the “greatest generation”. That was just a book written by an idiot newsreader. Doesn’t change the fact that it was never US policy to allow its troops to commit rape, and those suspected of rape were subject to death under the USMCJ.

Rape was the official policy of the Soviet Army, condoned at the highest levels, Russian soldiers who tried to protect German women were arrested and imprisoned. That’s a big difference from a few bad apples on the American side risking the death penalty for committing rape.

According to J. Robert Lilly and his book "Taken By Force", between 1945 and 1946 American servicemen in Germany raped some 11,000 women.
It was worse in the Pacific Theater. American troops raped 10,000 women on Okinawa alone. The vast majority of rapes went unreported. Some Marines would stay behind after fighting had stopped so that they could regularly raid villages and rape women.
In France, American GIs raped also thousands. In the most egregious cases, the rapists were caught and sentenced. But most went unreported and unaccounted for.

“Americans, who raped their way through the country”? Are you insane? I guess on the anonymous internet you can throw out any ridiculous charge you want as you giggle at your key board, but I will at least call you out as a liar. The US Military has never, in its history, condoned rape, and soldiers who were suspected of rape, were arrested and tried for their crimes under the USMCJ. That Polish POW’s should have been murdered in the Katyn Forest? Raping women is never justified, not in war or peace. It was the policy of the Soviet high command to allow their soldiers to rape any female they could find. This barbarism was unheard of in modern warfare before these war crimes were committed. Of course rapes occurred, but they were never sanctioned by commanders. Not even in the Nazi military.

Your statement about the US raping from one village to the next, is, of course, Hollywood nonsense. Rape is a crime under the US Military Code of Justice, and soldiers suspected of committing rape were arrested and prosecuted by the Americans during the Vietnam War.

It can’t get better, because as the experienced mechanics retire, the men who are supposed to train the younger guys are clueless. And that’s just one example from my morning and afternoon commute.

My understanding is that the NYC transit union is a militant Caribbean affair. In DC, 97% of the bus and train operators are blacks and marginal black engineers are promoted over whites with PhDs. This has resulted in a predictable outcome. The deteroration of Metro.

I disagree in part with "affirmative action is destroying ..."(should say America) not the USA, the USA does not exist any more in domestic America it is fighting wars in far away places.
The cause of the general destruction about which you complain results from inappropriate strategy to bring about affirmative action targets. You send a bright person to Harvard and he or she finishes in three years, affirmative action was never meant to grant average or unprepared students a 6 year degree in 3 years, it was meant to educate the average among us to the highest levels each of us is personally capable to achieve; taking or scoring high on test is not a destruction eliminating achievement. In fact, in my 75 years three things I noticed a) the truly bright students refused to stay in college long enough to get a degree, 2) the really innovative high energy contributors generally refuse to get a license to peal the dough off of donut holes or to play underwater tiddly-winks or to build high rise buildings or to build airplanes ships or rockets, they just do it. No days, no one will fund or allow the true genius to contribute for several reasons: the state cannot get rich off of unlicensed activities and true inventions will put monopoly powered corporations out of business over night. Believe me the reason for a license is to be sure the genius does not put the corporations that support the politicians out of business; just as the degrees are required as a condition precedent to being hired into jobs that teach and give good life-time experience. Employers don't want smart kids, they want well trained kids.

I also disagree that the best among us, can be discovered by an entrance test. What makes the prediction of degree versus job success is access. Those without degrees cannot get the jobs to prove their worth.

The education institutions and the society that regulates it, intentionally under educate those who it will not allow, or that it does not want, to succeed. How can you keep an educated slave happy?

Education content for minorities and most of the mainstream majority (wealthy class excluded) is highly limited and experience and opportunity devoid. True the course numbers are the same, the text books are the same, and even the test might be the same, but the content and revealing opportunities and learning experiences that good instruction provide are excluded. I coined this phase in 1973 "Education is a bureaucracy, learning is a biological process". In 1983 the bottom message of my email read "Molecular biology and genetics not medicine will find the cause and cures for cancer". Quality, experience filled education is only available to the wealthy; it takes millions to educate a pilot, and it takes even more to educate a good space engineer ( no wealth to pay, no ticket will be issued that will allow the experience of a quality education ). Exceptions are the very few extremely talented persons, they are like the good looking poor trash girl, she is good enough to marry into wealth, so to with the few really talented poor they will be trained to work for one of the Pharaoh companies (Tillerson may be an example). These very talented are given free passes.
As for the bridge in Florida, engineering software today is so good, it can produce error free design results, better even than a very competent engineering and general contracting firm. Even the most under educated among us, can enter the data and use the computer software to process the data into quality plans and specifications. The real cause of the bridge failure, seems to be pilot error, maybe negligence; the decision not to block traffic until the weekend to fix the discovered threat was fatal.

You make some very interesting points. I think IQ is somewhat important on an individual basis, but it really only takes one super smart guy, with some hard workers around him, to create a great product, or come up with a unique invention. Edison, for example, wasn’t surrounded by geniuses. Every group has its highly intelligent people, it’s how that group nurtures and supports its highly intelligent, giving them opportunities to succeed, encouraging their success, that probably has the most importance. We all know at least one determined person, who wasn’t the smartest student in school, who worked hard and made a success of himself. I wouldn’t dismiss IQ as an indicator of intelligence, but I wouldn’t make it the only factor in group or individual success, either.

They might be dumber than whites, but whites are dumber than Ashkenazi "Jews". So, when creating policies to deal with Aboriginals, do it as though that exact policy will likewise be the one which races superior to your own will adopt towards your race. Therefore, for example, if whites decide that the Abos should be wiped out, then they should correspondingly accept the righteousness of Ashkenazi Jews doing the same to them. Or, if the Chinaman should desire mercy and kindness from the Japanese man, then he should likewise extend that grace to the Cambodian. "Do unto others as ye would have done unto yourself." Now, that grace shouldn't necessarily preclude outright rulership, but in my view it should be rule of a kind and benevolent sort.

It's a wonderfully just technique for extracting true fairness from as corrupt a being as man.

Again, and probably for the one millionth time, there is no separate IQ test of Ashkenazi Jews that shows them having a higher IQ than other European groups. Ashkenazi have never been separated out for a test and all reports of their high IQ’s are based on estimates, including the one by everybody’s favorite IQ specialist, Richard Lynne.

Some of the assumed higher Ashkenazi IQ estimates are based on Jewish accomplishment. But it is a given that when Jews attain high status, they start the process of making certain that they are succeeded by Jews. Jews network more fiercely, more aggressively than even the Chinese. An Jews always wish to hold down and keep out the white Gentiles they see as most 'conservative' in terms of traditional European cultural values and identity, most specifically historic Christianity.

"...what’s so special about being “chosen” if it means eternal “poysikyooshun.” Is persistent playing of the victim card really all that “smart..?”

Yes it is. If you want to parasitize on a society and control it (from behind the scenes), then it is expedient to appear much weaker than you really are. Appearing to be the eternal victim of persecution does the trick. This is called "mimicry" in biology.
    , @Kratoklastes
While I am highly skeptical of the putative 'inherent genius' of Ashkenazim, the social strategies of their cognitive elites has almost-certainly resulted in a higher degree of cognitive bifurcation than has occurred in the rest of the human herd.

They have been actively pursuing strategic assortative mating since at least the early Middle Ages - with rabbi's sons marrying successful merchant's daughters and so forth.

What this means is that the Ashkenazi cognitive élite is rarer than, and likely has more raw cognitive grunt than, the 'run of the mill' Western élite.

Below the elite, though, it's fuckwits all the way down. Examine anyone who ties a box to his head and rocks like a mental patient mumbling Iron Age nonsense... if you get a score above 90 then he's faking his faith.

People who get tumescent about groupwise IQ always note that being part of Western society makes dusky folks smarter (both as a result of self-selection for immigrants, and better nutrition and social infrastructure for their offspring).

Indians ('curry', not 'redskin') in the US are 13 IQ points higher than Indians in India; Africans in the US and the UK are similarly-elevated relative to African-Africans.

Why is this logic not applied to the Red Sea Pedestrians?

So someone needs to show me the average IQ of a run-of-the-mill shtetl-dwelling Ukrainian/Moldovan/Bellorussian village dweller... I would be surprised if that's any different from the score of an Irish peasant from the 1950s.

Find me some hovel-dwellers from the Caucasus, and give them a one-shot go at the Raven's PMs - no test prep, and none of this "retest till you get above 120, bubelah" bullshit.
    .

Now with all that said, there does appear to be some literature that gives an empirical basis for the "Urban Westernised Ashkenazim are groupwise-smarter than Urban Gentiles" trope.

I don't like this "propagandise for an entire population using metrics obtained from a subset. Subsetting is almost prima facie evidence of intentional data-chicanery.

Anyone who graduates above the median in a university degree in a non-hobby discipline can be assumed to have an IQ above 120 - and I can say with certainty that the average IQ of double-degree'd part-Maori econometricians who weigh over 104kg; can code in Python and R; and have an uncle who is a cardiologist... is at least 138 (and Uncle Murray's IQ is probably higher than mine - and he's trwice as much Maori as I am... so "Maori confers additional IQ points", at least for N=2) .

Anyhow - back to the empirical literature for Brainy-Joos, such as it is: for example -

Lynn & Longley, "On the high intelligence and cognitive achievements of Jews in Britain", Intelligence Volume 34, Issue 6, November–December 2006, pp 541-547 and

te Nijenhuis et al., "Spearman's hypothesis tested on European Jews vs non-Jewish Whites and vs Oriental Jews: Two meta-analyses", Intelligence Volume 44, May–June 2014, Pages 15-18

Thankfully, a smart Russian shiksa invented sci-hub.tw , so we can all get those papers by pasting the DOI link into that site. (I haven't put the DOI links in the references: that would probably be a violation of the TOS of my carrier, and I'm not using a VPN to post this).

However the groupwise smartness is not the 1-full-σ (i.e., 15 IQ points) that the Red Sea Pedestrians bray about: it's half that.

The two samples (of teenagers tested a single time) in Lynn & Longley give an average Jewish IQ in the UK of 107-108 - and then, for some reason, the Lynn paper pads that out to 110 by saying that cognitive elite US Jews are all up in the upper echelons of smarties-clubs. Fucking DUH, Fred.

Now snakes like La Pierre may have twisted that to mean unregulated individual civilians, acting in no common interest, have the absolute right to own, carry and use guns of all sorts, in all situations, but the central concept of the 2nd amendment didn't say that or else the meaning of precise words is no longer something of substance.

Since day one. But now, you, an anonymous commenter, have discovered the real, secret meaning? Really? Have you ever read a history book? Do you think everyone is an idiot? You commies are the ones trying to twist the meaning of the 2nd Amendment, that’s been accepted from the beginning.

Those were seven "good guys" who achieved success and congratulations to them. Not exactly "endless" numbers though.

What about the more than 1.4 million US citizens killed by guns from 1968 to today?

    As for the 2nd amendment:

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”.

Simply apply the 2nd amendment entirely and in its original meaning. No need to repeal anything, just imprison all the swamp dwellers who lobby for the guns and gun manufacturers, then go back to the true meaning. Even Trump could do it by executive order.

Rich, as for your "my way or the highway" invitation, I would like to extend the same to you.

Read a little about the 2nd amendment and it’s meaning. Believe it or not, we have records from when it was adopted and what it meant. And it meant that the common people were allowed to own weapons. Though I’m sure you lefties will ignore all that and twist it to mean what you want it to mean if you ever get the chance. You should also read a little about the Soviet Union and find out what happened to even those who thought they were on the same side as the communists. Plenty of lefties died in the Gulag right next to the sane people.

You have revealed yourself as a communist with your wish to imprison those who disagree with you, and who follow the law as it was interpreted from the day it was written. Difference between a leftist and a sane person, is that the leftie wants to force everyone to do what he wants, and imprison those who disagree. A sane person just wants to be left alone.

I’m already in a country that respects the right of the people to bear arms. If you Bolsheviks ever gain power, I guess I’ll have to consider leaving.

The idea that people are more safe with more people carrying loaded guns is simply silly. It relies on the dubious expectation that there are "good guys" who would shoot a person who was apparently a "bad guy". In reality there would be two or more shooters, one of them (with an AR-15) likely prepared and expecting to die, the other(s) (with hand guns) full of adrenaline. In a cinema, how can any of them miss? More likely, the "good guys" with good guns" make a mess of it.

If a cinema has a no guns policy, it needs to be compulsory. Simply having a sign is pointless. An armed guard at the entrance with a hand-held metal detector would surely be better than relying on someone in the crowd being brave and lucky.

How do you stop some gun-loving deadshit from carrying legal semi-automatic weapons into a luxury hotel and opening fire on the people below? Only by taking the guns away beforehand, surely.

In Pennsylvania a doctor with a gun was able to kill a deranged man who started killing people at the clinic he was working at. In Chicago an Uber driver shot and killed a man who’d begun shooting into a crowd. In Spartanburg, SC, an armed parishioner pulled his gun on a man who’d entered his Church with a gun and held him for police. In 2009 Sean Barner was able to pull a gun on two men intent on raping and murdering people at a party in Georgia, killing one and injuring the other. A civilian was able to shoot and kill a murderer who’d shot four people, killing two, in a crowded bar in Nevada. The list of people defending themselves and others is endless. You’d have left all these people to die, because you actually believe that the villains will turn in their guns right along with the law abiding citizens. There are plenty of places in the world where citizens aren’t allowed to own guns, maybe you should consider moving there. Or getting enough votes to overturn the 2nd Amendment.

Liberal views are not based on the observation of reality, they are based on wishful thinking and ideology. One always ends up at a loss of words when trying to have a logical argument with a liberal. Their logic is never common sense logic, it's always ideological, even when it appears scientific it's because science in that particular instance happens to fit their ideology.

  • I asked if you thought we should take away dangerous weapons, apparently you believe guns to be dangerous weapons, so you are agreeing with my point. That is not a straw man. I am trying to show you that your belief that taking guns out of the hands of the law abiding citizen, will in any way prevent madmen from committing mayhem and murder. I am extending your argument to its logical conclusion. I am aware that some people, especially leftists, are incapable of understanding logic.

Do you really not understand that anyone intent on committing mass murder will find a way to do it, whether by gun, bomb, fire or flood? Really? You can’t comprehend that? You do know it was completely illegal for the 9-11 terrorists to hijack those planes and murder all those people, don’t you? Making something illegal doesn’t prevent it.

The problem is you guys. Paranoid, gun-loving, attention-seeking, death-wishing, cowardly deadshits. These killers come from you.

I grew up in Forest Hills, Queens, then moved out to Long Island while in junior High School. I’ve been around Jewish people all my life. I’ve met some very smart smart ones, some mediocre ones and some as dumb as stumps. One thing I know about them is their parents made sure they all at least tried to go to college, while a lot of the other White kids took civil service jobs or joined high paying construction unions. In my high school, which was maybe 30% Jewish, an Italian-American girl was the valedictorian and a Greek-American boy the salutatorian. I went to Queens College in the early 80′s, another very Jewish institution, and again their intelligence ran the gamut, just like every other ethnic group. This doesn’t change the fact that in order to say one ethnic group has a higher IQ, you have to produce a test, maybe even a series of tests, and you have to prove that the test was given to a large enough group to cover the entire group. My experience is, that people who aren’t from areas with a high Jewish population, only meet the more successful members of the group through their professions and the media, unaware of the great unwashed that make up the vast majority of every ethnic group.

There is no place on American IQ tests that asks for a persons religious background, and the only ethnicity recognized is Hispanic.

I never once mentioned knives, matches, gasoline, baseball bat, sharp sticks, etc and I never mentioned prescription drugs, illegal drugs, etc

I’m not sure you understand what a “straw man argument” is, but you did miss my point completely. The availability of weapons isn’t going to stop someone who is determined to damage.

And you’re right, you didn’t mention knives, matches, gasoline, bats, sharp sticks, etc., I did, so I’ll give you a couple points for noticing who mentioned them. In case you’re interested, that was because of your implication that we should make it more difficult to get guns to prevent madmen from committing mayhem. Mayhem can easily be committed with a slew of things other than guns.

A straw man argument is when you accuse your opponent of doing something quite beside the point or irrelevant, like "Do you really think we should take away all dangerous weapons? Weapons like knives, matches and gasoline? Baseball bats, too? What about sharp sticks?"

So, no. I do not "really think" something I never suggested or even mentioned.

I "really think" guns and especially assault weapons should be forcibly and progressively removed from circulation and destroyed. I think the rancid idea that teachers should carry guns to protect the class from AR-15 assault weapons in the hands of massacre-bent gun-loving deadshits is about as dumb as dirt.

The Declaration of Independence of 1776 declared three unalienable rights of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" which arguably trump (sic) the second amendment of 1778 which reads:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed".

A "well-regulated militia" is far from the bastardised right to carry weapons around for no other reason than the carriers like them and are in fear, or see themselves as empowered by it.

To rip into the children who see their right to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" as paramount and to smear them as "leftists", "liberals" and "Against the Constitution", before they even attain a reasoning age to choose a political bent, is certainly pathetic but also indicative of how distant the Constitution and its worthy ideas have become from the debate.

What is missing is the reasoned consideration of why do school mass murders of even very young students happen so often in so many parts of the US (and other countries as well). Why would those who feel resentment or aggression or want to make a mark of their otherwise hopeless existences choose to do it by killing school children (and teachers).

There must be at least two undeniable factors:-

    1. Weapons are easy to buy or otherwise get.
    2. School children are considered innocents and to harm them is spectacular, vile, unheard of and appalling.

So how to reduce the incidence of these massacres? Either the availability of deadly weapons needs to be curtailed or the reasons why cretins who get guns attack the innocents needs to be analysed and counteracted in an effective way.

The first solution is hard. The second solution is impossible.

Do you really think we should take away all dangerous weapons? Weapons like knives, matches and gasoline? Baseball bats, too? What about sharp sticks? The problem is the prescription and illegal drugs these youngsters, and adults, are taking. An arsonist can do as much, or more, than a gunman. Keep that in mind if you want to “protect” the children.

Meanwhile, the new campaign is already bearing fruit:

New York University issues public apology for 'racially insensitive' meal served during Black History Month

New York University has issued a public apology and fired their director of food service after students pointed out the watermelon-flavoured water and collard greens the school was serving during Black History Month were racially insensitive.

Awareness is increased, an obnoxious SJW has been rewarded at the cost of a few poor schmucks' jobs, and yet another pathetic "apology" with no basis in reality has been issued.

Who can claim all this is not strengthening America?

College of Arts and Science sophomore Nia Harris noticed the offensive meal when she walked into Weinstein Passport Dining Hall - before alerting the deans of the school and NYU’s President Hamilton of the insensitive and “stereotypical” meal.
    ......
John Beckman, a representative for NYU told The Independent that Aramark has since fired the employees involved in the incident.

It would be nice to think that Nia Harris could be extracted from her cosy student life and forced to meet the children of the working joes and explain to them personally why suddenly they have no money in their household because they were scapegoated to suppress any potential adverse public relations reaction to a spurious manufactured "offence" that she whipped up to make herself feel important and powerful. I'm sure they would understand that their increased hardship is well merited, as a result of their mum's or dad's personal evil.

It would also be nice to think that the US still had a political party that would represent the working man or woman in this situation, instead of inevitably backing the SJW.

From the Israeli Press: British Intel Reveals How Zionists Terrorized London

...There is, of course, a good reason why Zionist (i.e. Israeli) history is NOT taught in our universities in the United States. It is simply because if Zionist history were taught in our schools, then Americans would quickly realize that the real terrorists are the Zionists. Terrorism has been the tool of the Zionists all along, and continues to be so to this day.

The following article from today's Israeli press (Ha'aretz) sheds some light on this history:

Coat Bomb and Explosive Prosthesis: British Intel Files Reveal How the Zionist Stern Gang Terrorized London
    Ha'aretz, December 2, 2017

-Zionist terrorism was the main threat.
-MI5 placed known extremist Jewish and Zionist groups in Britain under intense surveillance.
-Stern Gang member claimed that he had “invented the book bomb.”
-“The execution was perfect. I learned an important lesson. No security measures can stop sophisticated imaginative planning.” Yaacov Levstein of the Stern Gang (i.e. LEHI)

MI5's dossiers on the group released this week cast the Cold War's early years in a stark new light: Terrorism, not the Soviet Union, was the main threat

Records declassified this week by Britain’s Security Service, MI5, reveal an urgent terrorist threat that Britain faced in the 20th century. No, it wasn’t the Irish Republican Army or Islamist terrorist groups that would plague Britain later in the century, but rather extremist Zionist groups fighting the British after World War II to establish the State of Israel. ...

I think it is clear that he was guilty of medical malpractice in performing internal pelvic examinations that were not necessary or appropriate solely for his own sexual gratification.

But where is the bright line that divides a pelvic examination from an "assault" IF THE PELVIC EXAMINATION WAS DONE CORRECTLY, ALBEIT UNNECESSARY AND WITHOUT THE REQUIRED CONSENTS BEING SIGNED BY THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN.

If the young women did not know that they were being assaulted at the time, to what extent can they be said to have suffered? Did they suffer more pain than normal for a pelvic examination? Or did the suffering only start when they discovered that they had been taken for a ride?

The trouble is that the criminal law is not really suited to dealing with these kinds of cases, because doctors are usually regarded as friends of the court, expert witnesses who advise the court, and so on, and there are no criminal courts that specialize in medical issues.

If it was just one or two youngsters, you might have a point. We’re up to well over a hundred here, and besides his confession to the molestation charges there is also his confession in the child pornography case. If a case ever called for the death penalty, this is it.

True. It is simple, expedient, and the best preventive medicine.

America has, in the American tradition of permitting lawyers to insert moneymakers into the "justice" sytem, allowed the convolutions of "statutory" rape to enter the equation, i.e. purely consensual sex made illegal by lawyers, for purposes of making money while serving interests of the wealthy classes.

You are right, of course, Christianity arrived in Armenia before the Edict of Thessalonica, and I believe was adopted by the Armenian king, but as Armenia was a Roman province, Christianity wasn’t the only religion until after the Imperial Decree. Armenians, under the Romans, could still legally practice polytheism before the Edict.

I don’t read more than about ten percent of my morning newspaper....
  • Grown men who sexually molest underage girls deserve the death penalty. In NY I’ve read of men who raped children under the age of five and were released to rape again after just a few years. For verification, just go to the Megan’s Law website. I would certainly be willing to pull the lever to hang them in the town square, or be part of the firing squad.

Mr Derbyshire should read the sports pages of the Post. A writer named Larry Brooks recently took the NHL to task for hiring Kid Rock to perform at this years All-Star game, because he often performs in front of a Confederate flag and once asked why we had to hear so much about homosexuals. Mr Brooks made no objection last year when Snoop Dogg was invited to play at the NHL All-Star game. Can’t escape “goodwhites” wherever you go.

God may not care about our personal dramas, he may have a larger goal, or no goal at all, he could be like someone who builds beautiful sandcastles on the beach, or ice sculptures, here today, gone tomorrow. In a book Mr Prager is probably familiar with, it is written, “From dust you were made and to dust you shall return.”

It also doesn’t follow that if there is a God, he sees “good” the way Mr Prager does. It’s just as possible that he reveres murderers and criminals, than that he cares for those who help the poor or disabled. If there is a God, it’s impossible for us to know who his mind. The guilty often prosper, and the innocent often suffer and that might be how a God wants it to be. The existence of a God does not prove the existence of a soul, or an afterlife, or even heavenly justice.

Mr Prager states that his belief in the afterlife keeps him sane, someone else can just as easily state that the fact that this life finally comes to an end with death keeps him sane.

Trump biggest mistake, considering he thinks himself a consummate deal maker, is not recognizing the power he has to force people to the negotiating table with him in the superior position. The Democrats think that by withholding votes that can get a DACA amnesty with no strings and eventually and amnesty for their parents due to the thin majority in Congress.

However, Trump has all the cards at the moment. He can deport the parents of the DACA (and the DACAs if he so desires) and force the Democrats to run to the negotiating table. Yeah, the media will cry about breaking families apart but the "they were brought here and had no choice" shtick won't work with the parents. Let the media cry about the DACA parents who broke the law and forced the taxpayer to pay for their kids and see how the rest of America cars.

Leftists wanted a neo-Marxist state, OK, they will now have to pay for all of it.

Center left republicans have no problem with a $10,000 SALT deduction. In the end, it will probably elect a few center to center-left repubs in the suburbs of high tax Blue states. Any repub, with liberal social views, can now run in a liberal state saying he just wants to reduce the tax burden of middle class suburbanites. If the strategy works, it will actually elect more left leaning repubs and weaken the conservatives.

Why do you think they avoided the trade and immigration issues in their platforms even though they are real vote getters among whites? Because they don't want to be a majority party, they just want the money. It's the same reason why they repeatedly put up the most bland and generic old white guys they can find. Which Italians exactly, the Muslims once controlled the southern parts of Italy. On the topic of actors here, nobody thinks its controversial for Al Pacino to play a Cuban in Scarface, that is because he is a Sicilian and can easily pass as a Latin American or even an Arab. The north-south divide in Italy is well known, you also need to ask yourself the question why the mafia are a southern not northern Italian phenomena. One can perhaps call them dubious whites, however I cannot say the same about Armenians, Iranians, Pakistanis, etc, they are simply not white.

You’re wrong about Muslims ever conquering Southern Italy. They conquered Sicily and held it for less than 80 years, hardly enough time to rape every woman and turn the island Moorish. They also controlled Bari for less than 30 years, a drop in the bucket. You’ve been watching too many movies.

"The English Protestants wanted to insure the safety of William of Orange so they imported the fanatical Protestants of Scotland and gave them the land and farms of the Irish Catholics so was the beginning of the Orangemen, the protectors of English Protestantism." -- Johann

This sounds like the American Catholic Irish myth that the protestants of Northern Ireland were all "new-comers" -- somehow less than Irish -- and were involved in the plantations phenomenon. That myth was/is nothing but prejudice that to be truly Irish, you must be RC. In fact, not a one of the plantations was located in the North. They were all in the South. And it's doubtful that the plantations were mainly settled by "fanatical" Scots.

Protestants in the North are just as deeply rooted 'Irish' as are any of the Irish in the South, although the Irish in the North have always been closer to the Scots than to the southern Irish. That goes back, beyond the Battle of the Boyne or the plantations, to the fact that there have always been two Irelands, at least for humans. How else would you explain that when St. Patrick was posted to Ireland, there was already Palladius sitting near Dublin, in County Meath and known (even in Rome) as 'Bishop of Ireland'?

It's geography, you see. If you go to the eastern coast in Northern Ireland, you can clearly see Scotland. Whereas you don't see England or Wales from the coastlands of the Irish Sea in the South. Back then, bodies of water were the primary 'roads'. Thus it would be easy to envision and to make a voyage from Scotland to County Down, but if you wanted to get to, say, Dublin from Liverpool, back in that day when they much preferred sailing within sight of land, you would probably go by way of the Isle of Man. Two very different routes. And, therefore, two very different destinations, historically speaking or thinking.

As for the Order of Orange, or the Scottish Rite, that is beyond the scope of this comment -- except to say that there were (and are) certainly some Presbyterian clergy who abjure(d) both.

I believe you’re incorrect. The Plantation of Ulster is an historical fact. An argument can be made that, genetically, the Northern Irish and Scots were the same people, but to claim that the Irish Catholics in the region weren’t forced off their lands, after backing the Catholic king, is historically inaccurate.

Yes, Rich, you are correct --I had to go back and research more, and it turned out that I had misunderstood a source.

It seems there was a long history of violent land grab, taking place over centuries -- beginning with the Norman invasion in the 12th Century and lasting into the 17th Century with the 'plantations' phenomena that extended from the Tudor and into the Stuart dynasty and included even Cromwell's republic.

I still think that there's been two Irelands going all the way back to St. Patrick's day. The Wikipedia article on Ulster --

Historically, Ulster lay at the heart of the Gaelic world made up of Gaelic Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man. ... By the late 14th century ... Ulster became the most thoroughly Gaelic and independent of Ireland's provinces. Its rulers resisted English encroachment but were defeated in the Nine Years' War (1594–1603). King James I then colonized Ulster with English-speaking Protestant settlers from Britain, in the Plantation of Ulster.-- Wikipedia

So, I suggest that the argument about the Northern Irish and the Scots being genetically the same people can be extended to that they were or are historically the same people.

Why do you think that? Why would Russians launch nukes and end themselves and probably the world? Losing a conventional war is still much better than starting a nuclear exchange.

Mutual Assured Destruction kept the peace in Europe for the last 70 years. Everyone believed that either superpower would resort to nukes in the case of conflict between the two. now, it appears, that intelligent people are beginning to believe a limited war between the two sides could be fought, and won. If the US were to invade Russia with the intention of overthrowing her government, would the leaders and the military allow that to happen? Would they allow themselves to be captured and humiliated and hanged liked common criminals like the German leaders after WWII? The same with the US. I can’t envision the leadership of either nation allowing themselves to be defeated, or their countries conquered. Although maybe you guys have a point. What was unthinkable when I was a kid, has suddenly become a possibility. In the end, however, I believe that nukes would be used.

An occupied Russia is a lot better than a nuked Russia, even for the leadership. They also have children and families, what kind of Russia would be left for them after a nuclear exchange? That said, even if the probability of a nuclear response to a conventional conflict is low, hopefully no one wants to test that.

  • Does the Saker actually believe that conventional weapons would have any effect on a war between the US and Russia? Does anyone? As soon as either nation’s territory was threatened, the nukes would fly and the war would be over. It’s that simple. There can be no limited war between the US and Russia. The chance for a semi-limited war between the US and China is probably still possible, but that time is quickly fading. Soon the Chinese will be as invulnerable as the US and Russia, if they haven’t reached that point already. The purpose of the US conventional force now is to keep smaller US allies safe from invasion, and to intimidate smaller nations that act against US interests. Probably time for the Saker to get off this comparison of US and Russian conventional force showdown.

Well, I didn't pay much attention to the VA election, but near the end the newspapers and the web were filled with stories about the extremely "racially divisive" TV commercials both for and against Gillespie...

Apparently, his campaign ran commercials on the terrible, deadly threat from the Salvadoran M-13 gang, and implied that his opponent was soft on them.

Not long afterwards, some Democratic group ran a commercial on the terrible, deadly threat from the KKK, and implied that Gillespie was soft on them.

Over the last decade, I think there have been close to 200,000 murders across America. I'd be surprised if even 20 of them were committed by M-13 members, and I'd guess that the body-count due to members of the KKK/Neo-Nazis/Skinheads was roughly in the same range.

So the Republicans accused the Democrats of being Martians, and the Democrats accused the Republicans of being Venusians. Politics as usual in America these days....

Nisa Mickens, Kayla Cuevas, Michael Banegas, Jefferson Villalobos, Justin Llivicura, Jorge Tigre, Kerin Pineda, Angel Soler, Javier Castillo. There’s nine who were murdered by MS-13 on Long Island in 2017 alone. If I can find nine murders in 2017 on Long Island I’ll bet we can get past 20 in the last decade fairly easily. But even if it was just one murder, isn’t that enough? Why should even one family have to suffer the murder of their loved ones, so that rich folks can have cheap labor?

The other problem is the estimated 20 thrown out is probably understated since MS-13 is well known for killing, intimidating and threatening witnesses to their crimes. So I reckon that there's many more MS-13 related murders that are in the cold case files.

This is what makes us liberals laugh (or cry, more accurately,) when the greedy right wingers want to slash taxes for the rich and cut social funding and get rid of social security in order to balance the budget, and invoke Reagan as their patron saint. Reagan was further to the left than today's Democratic establishment!

What makes an old conservative like me laugh is when liberals call “right wingers” greedy for working hard and wanting to donate to charities of their choice and take care of their own families, instead of paying for the left’s various “lifestyle” choices. Just because someone is successful, doesn’t mean he should have his hard-earned wealth taken from him to support whatever pet cause the left has embraced.

Well let’s see, was Reagan a liberal?
    1. He signed California’s abortion law.
    2. Signed the highest tax increase in California history as governor.
3 Signed the Mulford Act restricting the right of the public to carry guns.
    4. Signed California’s “No-Fault” divorce law.
    5. Tripled the Federal Deficit.
    6. Gave Amnesty to 3 million illegal aliens.
    7. Appointed affirmative action Sandra O’Connor to the Supreme Court.
    8. Signed Martin King Jr Day into law.
    9. Raised taxes in 7 of his 8 years as president.
    10. Increased the number of Federal employees.

Yeah, guess he was a liberal republican.

Agree totally. Reagan was also the person who executive ordered the law that every illegal alien who manages to get across the border can have her baby in an American hospital completely free courtesty of the taxpayers or tax slaves. Even the Chinese are doing this . They come to America when they are about 4 months pregnant and walk into a hospital and due to Reagan's executive order get the same totally free to them pre natal and childbirth care the hispanics get.

It's one thing to give free childbirth to the occasional visitor whose time comes when she is away fro her home country. But we give free prenatal care and childbirth and pediatric care for the baby to millions of parasites every year ranging from dirt poor primiitive central American indians to middle class Chinese woman who arrive at 3 months on tourist visas.

And due to the 14th amendment all those babies are citizens.

he made affirmative action worse as well. When he was president every White who retired from federal work was replaced by a black or hispanic.

Your memory fails you. Deinstitutionalization began under JFK and was continued under LBJ. Both had democrat majorities in Congress. The ACLU was also heavily involved in suing states for locking up the mentally ill. Now, there may have been some liberal Republicans who joined in this effort, but it was not a conservative action. I suppose it’s also possible that some libertarians supported the effort, but I’m unable to find any in a quick search.

In the Netherland medical care is the same for everyone.
When I visited USA friends in 2001, if I remember correctly, friends of the friends asked me if their son could be treated in the Netherlands, for treatment in the USA they would have to sell their house, the other choice was te let the child die.
As I wrote, I am seriously ill, kept alive, for a limited time, I know that, couple of months, a few years, nobody knows, by very expensive medication.
My nephew in the USA said, what I knew, 'had you lived here, you would be bankrupt'.

My criticism on the USA, as I stated before, is not the USA people, they no longer hunt down Indians, as they did at the end of the 19th century.
They are the victims of USA money just like the people in Iraq or Lybia or whatever.
They are not killed, like the people in far away countries, though.

In 1919 the USA people were aware of how they had been misled, that their sons had died in Europe for imperialism.
The USA never ratified Versailles, it became pacifist and isolationist.
Alas, as Sol Bloom writes in his autobiography 'the great accomplishment of Roosevelt was that he gradually prepared the USA people for war'.
Sol Bloom, ‘The Autobiography of Sol Bloom’, New York 1948.

Eisenhower, in his farewell speech, warned for the USA industrial complex.
Barbara Hinckley, Sheldon Goldman, ‘American Politics and Government, Structure, Processes, Institutions and Policies’, Glenview Ill., 1990
gives some interesting examples how the war industry in the USA succeeds in making money.
And of course, to justify the huge USA military budgetn wars must be fought.

It is the same with NATO, that has the biggest building in Europe, it cost one and a half billion euro, several thousand people earn their living there, with what, I do not have a clue.
But also of course NATO cannot exist without wars, or the threat of war, and so they try to provoke war with Russia, the country that keeps us warm in winter with gas.
In order to become independent of Russian gas new houses here are going to cost E 40.000 more, on insulation, to save the climate, of course.

The EU is an accomplice in the game, with the military paragraph inn the association treaty with Ukraine, that we Dutch do not want, we voted by referendum against it.
I suppose we also are going to vote by referendum against a law that enables secret services to spy on what and who they want, it will be the last referendum for a long time, the present errand boys and girls of Brussels here are going to abolish the referendum law.

The Netherlands was a democracy, alas, as in the USA, elections are just a charade since 2005, when we rejected the so called EU constitution.
In two other countries referenda were held, France and Ireland, as with us two third rejected this so called constitution.
It was accepted without the flag and the European anthem.

I can only assume your friends didn’t have health insurance in 2001 and must have been fairly wealthy if they didn’t qualify for government assistance. Perhaps they were misinformed, or unaware of the myriad of programs available, especially for a sick child. I hope they were able to get the care they needed and their child was okay. And of course there are fixes needed for the medical insurance programs in the US, but I’m unaware of anyone who has been denied care because they couldn’t afford it.

As for the US hunting down Indians, what kind of nonsense are you smoking. There were maybe 1 million Indians in what is today the continental US. There was plenty of land available for both the Europeans and the Indians. In fact, because of a shortage of women, many of the tribes intermarried with American colonists and many signed peace treaties with the Americans and lived in peace. On the other hand there were also hostile Indians, who raped, kidnapped and murdered Whites. The situation isn’t Bad Whites against Good Injuns. There was both good and bad on both sides, the Whites just won.

They were hunted down. Often it was after they were disarmed and promised protection.

Check out the Sand Creek Massacre, for one. It pays to know about these things because one of the reasons they were wiped out is that they didn't make good slaves and therein may be a lesson for uppity white boys...

    Anyway, back to Sand Creek...

Captain Silas S. Soule and Lieutenant Joseph A. Cramer of the 1st Colorado (U.S.) Volunteer Cavalry put their military careers - and lives – at risk by refusing to fire during the [US military] attack against a peaceful Cheyenne and Arapaho village at Sand Creek, November 29, 1864. With their companies backing them up, they purposely took little or no part in the massacre [of many women and children]...

Several weeks after Soule testified before the commission, he was shot in the streets of Denver. His murderers, although known, were never brought to justice.

That may or may not be so, I'd have to see some statistics.

The evidence of my lyon' eyes tells me plenty of people are living on the streets.

My gentrified neighborhood insisted that police remove the men who slept under dumpsters in the alleys -- they moved them to bridge abutments and abandoned industrial sites.

Public libraries are ersatz day-care-for-hoboes; libraries now have police patrolling to ensure that the mentally ill regulars do not act out too loudly or stink too badly.

Washington, DC libraries post extensive rules on the bathroom doors: NO shaving, NO showering, NO sex in the bathrooms.

Who are these hobos living in the street? Here in NYC they are drug addicts or mentally unstable people. Why are they allowed to live in the street? Because leftist judges and politicians have made it illegal to force them into mental hospitals or drug addiction facilities. Leftists believe this is a sign of their benevolence. I don’t know of anyone who is actually homeless because of poverty in the US. There’s just too many programs, from section 8, to welfare, to public housing available.

What does one expect in a country where money dominates all ?
The USA is a great country to live in when one is rich, anything goes, and horror when one is poor.
The only way to escape horror is to get rich, and stay rich.
I am severely ill, the Dutch health care system keeps me alive, at great cost.
In the USA I would either be broke, and dead, or dead.

I’m not trolling you, Jilles, you just keep showing up on this site bashing America with factually wrong statements. I’m aware that the Netherlands is a pleasant nation, both my wife and I have some Dutch ancestry, but the Netherlands, like the US, isn’t perfect. The fact is that every country, from Venezuela to Monaco, is a great country when one is rich, I’d bet even Holland is nice if you’ve got a few bucks.

To your point about your health issues. Here in the US there are two primary medical insurance programs run by the government, Medicare and Medicaid. If you’re over 65 you are automatically covered by Medicare, there are some low costs associated with it, but if you’re too poor to pay them, you don’t have to. Medicaid is a government run health insurance program for the poor and uninsured in the US. In most cases all medical conditions are covered for free in this program. No hospital emergency room in the US is allowed to refuse treatment, either. Could the system be better? Of course, but people aren’t really dying in the streets, desperate for medical attention, as the leftists you read are telling you.

It's called a pissing contest as you should well know since it's what you do. To you, any criticism of American foreign policy is either un-American or anti-American and it doesn't seem to occur to you that many Americans love America and the ideals that they once believed it stood for but they HATE what has become of it. Your pissing display or chest-thumping, call it what you will, only serves to further empower the enemies of the American PEOPLE by those who have highjacked the USA and are driving it to destruction.

You are wrong. I understand that some people are pacifists, and although I believe that kind of thinking would lead to tyranny, I believe they could still love their country. America has stayed pretty true to the ideals that led it, from its founding, to defeat its enemies and expand its territory and influence. Otherwise we’d still be only thirteen states, I think. I also believe men of goodwill can disagree with each others opinions without resorting to schoolyard taunts and vulgarities. You, apparently, cannot.

Britain in the 30's was pacifist. The first spitfire wasn't produced until after Munich. Merlin engine powered fighter planes were the only effective weapons the UK had in 1940. But even in 1940, the UK started to out produce Germany in every class of weapon: planes, ships and tanks, without counting Canada. Assuming USSR stayed neutral, the British Empire would have eventually beaten Germany in a straight fight. The UK didn't have a strategic bomber in action until 1942. Build up takes time. More money, more men (5 million Indians volunteered for the army), more weapons, more oil to fuel jet engines. USSR neutrality mattered. USSR supplied Germany with rubber the most critical raw material for Germany. Make a plane or a car or even wheels for a decent horse cart without rubber? The UK was also on the right track for an A bomb, unlike the Germans.

The USSR was forced into the fight by Germany and Japan expanded its war to attack the US and the UK so it wasn't a straight fight. Canadian Valentine tanks diverted in mid ocean from the UK were defending Moscow by December 1941. The US clearly shortened the war by 3 or 4 years but the UK could hold Germany back and blockade it and UK/Russia could defeat it.

Maybe, I wouldn’t have bet on it, though. Without the US, would the Brits have bothered to keep fighting if the Nazis had given them a pass? I’m pretty sure there would have been no D-Day without the US and if the Germans didn’t have the pesky Allies in North Africa, the Atlantic and Western Europe to deal with, I think the Germans would have defeated the Soviets.

Of course it was a concerted effort to defeat the Nazis and without the Western Front, led by the US, I believe the Germans would have gotten their Lebensraum. The Soviets were on their heels before the US entry and the Brits were alone as a free nation in Western Europe. The US was the stick that broke the German camel’s back. Many of the commenters here have a major dislike of the US, though, and want to give all the credit to their Communist heroes. I strongly disagree with that.

Human nature, as it is, I can understand many people, like the Mexicans, being jealous of their wealthy neighbor. Still, they’ll do anything they can to get across the Rio Grande, won’t they? If, Heaven forbid, the Chicoms ever become the world’s sole superpower, people will be praying for the return of the very benevolent Americans.

Stop reading Zinn. Now. He is a biased, Marxist historian who re-writes history to fit into his narrow-minded viewpoint. By the time you finish that ridiculous book, based on your already anti-American leanings, you’re going to hate the USA. No nation is perfect, but the US has tried, in most cases, to be a liberating force in the world. We didn’t turn Japan and Germany into agrarian territories like some wanted. We didn’t authorize the rape of every female from 8 to 80 like the Soviets did. There are more American Indians alive today, with full voting rights, than there were when Jamestown was founded. We didn’t send our boys to Korea and Nam to conquer and enslave the people, we were there to protect them from the murderous Reds. If the dopes in Al Quaeda hadn’t stupidly attacked the US, we wouldn’t be in the Afghan or Iraq, either. The US has, for the most part, been a benevolent force in the world. Some folks just have to bite the hand that feeds them.

The problem, I fear, is that Zinn does not write much else than I already knew from books like:

How can you be so sure that history shouldn't be re-written? By the rest of your comment, it looks as if you've swallowed nearly century old war propaganda as some sort of "history."

As late as 1958, then, [A.J.P.] Taylor clung as tenaciously as before to his Germanophobic line... [then he] began to investigate the documents, and as he did so, he began to realize the truth. • Well, I just finished reading the essay on Korea that you cited, perhaps you should read it yourself. It says nothing about US plans of invading N Korea prior to the North’s invasion and references Truman’s belief that the war should be limited to freeing the South. Because, in the rush of a fairly quick victory over the forces of the North, the US and its allies took a chance on perhaps reuniting the peninsula doesn’t change the fact that the South was freed and the original objective met. You seem to be confusing victory with something else. You keep repeating “8th Army” like its some kind of chant. Early in the war, the 8th was caught unaware by the cowardly, surprise attack of the Reds and suffered losses. This is not uncommon in war. Shortly after that, US forces landed and beat the Norks back.

Is Wikipedia your Pope? Because some kid writes there what he has heard repeated over and over doesn’t make it true. Accept the historical fact that South Vietnam was free as long as US combat troops were in country and that it took a full two years for the Reds to defeat the South after the US withdrew. These are historical facts. A couple of left wing writers and a few television shows doesn’t change that fact.

As much as you keep telling yourself the US was “humiliated” here we sit in a world dominated by US power and culture. You’ll never be able to accept it, but observable reality shows you’re wrong.

The US was “kicked out” of Vietnam? Talk about living in Disneyland, but it’s probably not even your fault. The leftist media and academia have been pushing that tale for so many years, the less well read repeat it like a mantra. The US pulled its troops out of Vietnam in 1973 and US POWs were freed. South Vietnam was defeated two years later, in 1975. That’s an historical fact, whether you like it or not. Until the US withdrawal, the North was on its knees, living in tunnels and hiding from American troops.

As for Korea, buy a globe, and look at Northeastern Asia. You’ll see a line through the 38th parallel. That separates North Korea from South Korea. If the US lost, why does South Korea still exist? The object of the war was to evict the Reds from the South and that objective was achieved. Your opinion that the US was about to invade the North is ridiculous and no serious historian would take it seriously. Anti-Americanism seems rampant with a lot of you fellows, so much that you’re really unable to see the facts. The fact is that the communist N Koreans invaded the South in the hope of conquering and annexing it. The Americans and their allies fought a bloody conflict which, in the end, resulted in the North being driven out of the South. It’s true, the Allied forces did, at one point, occupy most of the North, and had Truman followed MacArthur’s advice, all Koreans, as well as the Chinese, would be free today. But the fact is, the Norks were prevented from conquering the South and were driven back behind the 38th parallel. That’s a win.

"the examples of Germany (twice) and Japan in the C20th show that much more formidable opponents can be defeated, given the motivation". Defeated only with allies, though:

WWI was won by the British and French, welcome though the American troops undoubtedly were.

WWII against Germany was won first by the British hanging on by their fingernails and then by the Red Army taking huge casualties to expel the Germans and then conquer them.

Even the US triumph against Japan depended in part on most of the Japanese army being tied down in China throughout the war.

WWI was fought to a standstill until the arrival of fresh American troops. Had the US not entered the war, the Germans wouldn’t have had to surrender and there could have been a reasonable peace treaty that probably would have prevented the rise of Hitler and WWII.

Do you really believe that if the US hadn’t joined the fighting in WWII, the Brits would’ve been able to hang on “by their fingernails” or that the Soviets would’ve been able to “expel” and “conquer” the Germans? The defeat of Japan had very little to do with the Japanese Army being “tied down in China”. The Japanese would have had no problem with China if the US had not been bombing and burning them from the Pacific. It was the American Navy, mostly, that defeated the Japanese, so the Japanese Army, which had success only against people with poorly armed militaries, had little role to play against the Americans.

The League could, for example, order owners to bench protesters but this risks escalating the protests if non-protesters decide to show solidarity...
  • @Okechukwu
This is a load of garbage. If nothing works in Nigeria then we should expect their airliners to frequently fall from the sky, and of course they don’t. The place has all the accouterments of modernity, managed by Nigerians. So NFL players aren’t going to get the sense that they’ve arrived in some otherworldly dystopia separate and apart from all that they’re used to. There’s nothing they have in the United States that they couldn’t also access in Nigeria. And since millionaire NFL players typically don’t sojourn in the slums of Appalachia, we would not expect them to alter that pattern when visiting Nigeria.

Having said all of that, I don’t imagine that the NFL would play an exhibition in Nigeria given that the people there have virtually no interest in football. Even Nigerian immigrants to the United States usually don’t take to football. It’s the American born like myself that like it. Because football is so idiosyncratically American that you literally have to be born into it. Same with baseball, which I also love but which the average African can’t make heads or tails out of. The NFL may play exhibitions overseas (and even regular season games in London), but the actual constituency for football is so small that all efforts to grow the game outside of America have failed. Sending American soccer players to play exhibitions in Nigeria would make much more sense.

Basketball. There’s a sport that is much more accessible and much more popular internationally. There are African basketball leagues and national teams (Nigeria has a league and a national team). What you are pining for has already happened with respect to the NBA. Wealthy Black American professional basketball players do go to Africa to conduct clinics and play exhibitions. Very wealthy, actually. NBA players earn vastly more than NFL players. Yet none of those experiences have tempered their advocacy for social justice and equal treatment in the United States. It’s a stupid suggestion for you to make, in an article replete with stupidity. You personally would not come back from a trip to a European slum with a newfound willingness to accept less than equal treatment.

Speaking of sports, white sports fans often riot, loot and destroy entire city blocks when their teams win or lose. You should address that phenomenon instead of this faux outrage over peaceful anthem protests. I say your outrage isn’t genuine because you can’t be that dumb. I know you’re just desperately latching onto anything in order to promote your agenda.

I would suppose that the reason those jets stay in the sky is that they weren’t built by Nigerians. According to the most recent statistics, 100 million Nigerians live on less than $1 a day and over 60% live in what’s called “absolute poverty” according to the NBS.
And White fans rarely riot, loot or destroy entire city blocks, Black fans often do it. Race riots in dozen cities follow Johnson fight victory

At 135th-st and Eighth-av in the better class negro quarter a mob of white men stormed a street car, pulled a negro into the street and kicked and beat him. Police rescued the negro. Another mob attempted to lynch a negro buying a paper. The negro drew a stiletto and held the mob off until police arrived.

In the "black and tan" and "San Juan hill" negro sections mobs set fire to a negro tenement house, hurled stones at windows, and tried to keep the occupants in by blocking the exits. The fire department routed the mob.

Smaller riots were of frequent occurrence throughout the night and early morning.

If Whites are so bad, why does every single Black in America, as soon as he gets a couple bucks, move to a White neighborhood?

No one says whites are "so bad." I'm even married to one. Successful blacks, like all successful people, move into neighborhoods suitable to their station. Often those neighborhood are majority black like these:

Why are so many Africans immigrating to the US if Whites are so racist? Reality.

Gee, I don't know. Maybe for the same reason Europeans fled their squalid, dysfunctional shitholes for a better life in America.

  • As Washington bombs Afghanistan, Libya, Somalia, Iraq, and Syria, militarily threatens Russia, Venezuela, North Korea, and China, sanctions Cuba, North Korea, Russia, Ukraine, Iran..one may wonder: Why? Are wars about anything, or just wars? In modern times, a reason of sorts is thought decorous, yes: Ruritania is threatening us, or might, or does something wrong,...

I’m not sure I understand Fred’s point. Some humans are willing to fight to defend their homelands...

    Yeah, they're called "Vietcong."

Ever heard of the massacre at Hue? Your VC heroes massacred up to 6,000 captured soldiers and civilians including women and children. The VC were murderous dogs who raped, murdered and pillaged their own people. But don’t fret, the way things are going, maybe you’ll get to meet similar people if the Red Brigades of Antifa ever get strong enough.
