From the New York Times: What happens after 8th grade that makes boys and girls more different? Puberty. The biggest male>female gap in math is in the small Montgomery Township, NJ. ... In the Montgomery Township district in New Jersey, for example, the median household income is $180,000 and the students are about 60 percent...
  • @Shefali
My Dad was an honest guy from India. He was also brilliant - he got his master's degree from MIT in one year (in electrical engineering). He tried to start a company in India (back in the 1960s) and lost money because he was honest and refused to pay the bribes... so he came to the United States where an honest man could get ahead by merit.

So he raised me and my brother here in the US and we did well academically but we are also honest. I never cheated on tests even though my Indian parents did have high expectations - growing up, the only acceptable grade was an A. I didn't have a lot of Indian friends - most of my friends were white. When I got to graduate school, at first I thought it was neat to encounter so many Indians. Then I realized - many of them were total cheaters!

Not all of them, of course. But enough thought it was OK to cheat on exams, it really disillusioned me about the culture. What is interesting though is that the ones who are honest are much more hard core about it, in a reaction to the home culture. And growing up in this country, kids who assimilate are more likely to be honest...

One reason I am against mass immigration - if you have small numbers of immigrants, they assimilate and while they may add color and vibrancy to a native culture, they don't impact traditions, etc. It's a win/win for everyone. Mass migration though can be a disaster. I mean, maybe a mass migration of highly educated, honest people to a pit like Haiti might be good for Haiti, I don't know... but for the most part, mass migrations are not a good thing.

I'm against mass importation of low skilled workers to the US. There are enough blue collar Americans who are out of work that we need to secure the borders. This is purely economic, I'm not even talking about the impact of things like MS13 members coming over or the cultural issues.

I'm also against huge numbers of H1-B visas... again, let's have Americans working.

I am not sure about race and creativity. I do agree that Americans are more creative. But is that due to race or due to culture? American culture is very individualistic and creative. I personally (an American with Indian heritage) am very creative, which gets me in trouble sometimes... but I am quirky and independent and not culturally Indian... I love to ski, shoot guns, parachute, etc.

One good thing about Indian immigrants to the US - they are entrepreneurial. So are many other ethnic groups... and they start companies that give jobs to Americans.

Ultimately, though, it's about what is best for America. America is a unique place, and why live here if you don't love it? Why try to change it into a socialist Scandinavia or Cuba, or an India or China? It should remain unique. If people want to live in a socialist "paradise", Canada and Mexico are just across the borders...

One reason I am against mass immigration – if you have small numbers of immigrants, they assimilate and while they may add color and vibrancy to a native culture, they don’t impact traditions, etc. It’s a win/win for everyone. Mass migration though can be a disaster. I mean, maybe a mass migration of highly educated, honest people to a pit like Haiti might be good for Haiti, I don’t know… but for the most part, mass migrations are not a good thing.

Republicans really need to impress upon minority communities the benefits of raising the ladder, rather than allowing the Democrats to persuade them that whites are an infinitely bountiful pinata to be plundered in proportion to Democrat electoral power.

  • ... not much. The Daily Mail newspaper had a reporter get a job as a maid at the Turin hotel where the annual secret Bilderberg conference was held. This is a center-right meeting for Deep State celebrities (e.g., Henry Kissinger, has been attending off and on since 1957; he was there in a wheel chair...
  • @JohnnyWalker123

For all we know, the event organizers put the Daily Mail up to this stunt for the purpose of deflecting public interest in it.

But why should anyone believe that when the rich and powerful gather to talk amongst themselves, either Bilderberg or Davos or any other such gathering, that there is “nothing to see here”?

    Exactly.

I'd bet that there's much that happens that we'll never know about.

Why would all these powerful people get together and say nothing particularly interesting to each other?

Because our “elites,” being the metaphorical pond scum risen to the top, are not particularly interesting themselves.

  • From The Independent: Isn't that one of Tracy Jordan's contract demands on 30 Rock: staffers are not allowed to make eye contact with the star? I can only find a Jack Donaghy clip, though:
  • @Rosie

Better still, forget about making up silly mechanical “zero tolerance” rules (accompanied by dire punishments) in order to regulate all aspects of human behavior.

It's not a made up rule, Jack. The rule already exists, and not articulating it just puts less socially adept men at a disadvantage. "Don't be a creep!" is not helpful. "Don't stare at people for longer than five seconds" is at least useful guidance. If a man finds himself leering at a young woman for more than five seconds, he should probably be aware that he is sexually attracted to her and make it a point not to stare. This is just basic self-awareness and civilized propriety.

“Guidance” is fine, except that “guidance” usually turns into a re-education session where all kinds of ideologically dubious non-sense is mixed in with the “guidance”.

“Guidance” is fine, except when you find out that you are being fired because you violated the “guidance”.

If someone is so socially out of touch that they have reached adulthood not knowing what is/is not “creepy”, will crude mechanical rules like this really help them? Or is this really just a power play? WE (women) get to decide what is creepy now and EVERYTHING that beta-ish males do is creepy. They don’t have to touch us or even talk to us – we pronounce that even LOOKING at us is creepy so avert your gaze, incel! In the past we had to grin and bear it, but those days are over and now we can let our true feelings about betas be known (even though we have to hide our true feelings about every other group on Earth). Betas are creepy, creepy, creepy and we want them GONE completely.

At some point, these rules take you back to a Victorian/Turkish harem model – the only “safe” space” for women is one from which all males have been COMPLETELY excluded (except for eunuchs and the sultan). Women will take over all existing institutions – workplaces, universities, etc. and drive out the EEVIL men. If they have not killed all the male children by that point, the males will need to have something to do so they will have to start their own all male institutions and we will have gone full circle.

  • @Stan Adams
Having spent my entire life in the Miami area, I've always felt like a foreigner in my own land. The red pill was one of my childhood vitamins. And I'm not only talking about Latin Americans - even in elementary school, I was acutely aware that blacks and Jews were not my people, either.

Hearing Spanish all the time doesn't bother me. It's sonic wallpaper. I can't miss what I've never had.

Many of those who grew up in the old America and now find themselves trapped in the new America report feeling a profound sense of alienation. I've always felt alienated from all those around me. When I was younger, I assumed it was totally natural to regard everyone else with a vague sense of wary disdain. I was surprised to learn that anyone could feel differently.

Of those in my social circle, a majority of those who speak English as their first language are Jewish. Most of those with whom I am on friendly terms are of the tribe. None of them are aware of my ambivalence about the nature of Jewish influence in America. Quite a few of them would be shocked to read some of the things that "Stan Adams" has said.

One of the earliest lessons I learned as a child is that honesty is dangerous. Even at the age of five or six, I was aware that there are many truths that must never be spoken, many opinions that must never be shared. Over time, I came to understand the unpleasant reality that trust was a luxury that I would never be able to afford.

To the extent that friendship is based on trust, I have never been able to form a solid, lasting bond with anyone. There is not a single person alive to whom I have not lied directly and repeatedly, out of (seeming) necessity. Even those with whom I am brutally, cruelly honest have been subjected to various lies of omission.

The need to maintain a polite fiction for the sake of interracial and -ethnic harmony is but one of the ways in which diversity weakens social cohesion. It makes trust and honesty impossible. When a simple slip of the tongue can ruin your entire life, you learn to keep your true feelings to yourself. Lying becomes second nature. Over time, though, you come to resent those who force you to perform constant feats of mental gymnastics.

The one vow I have always kept is my absolute refusal to lie to myself. More than anything else, that is what has kept me sane.

Ah, so this is why I always get crossed off the invite lists within a month of arriving at a new place.

It absolutely is, and if you don't believe me you can verify it with a little work. Just find a non-identifiable picture of a somewhat attractive young woman; use it to set up an online profile with decent but not stellar credentials; and then start applying for jobs and watch the interview requests roll in.

OR, these men look for opportunities with young women whom they believe they can bed or wed.

Generally in our culture - regardless of sex, age or status - the speaker looks away from the listener's eyes every few seconds for a second or two while the listener stares into the speaker's eyes until the speaker is done speaking. Looking at someone for more than a few seconds straight while you're speaking to them is generally only done when one is being extremely stern (or sexual).

The amount of eye contact demanded in Anglo-American culture is annoying, and probably reflective of its ridiculous extrovert-centrism. Also IIRC women prefer face-to-face orientation in conversations over shoulder-to-shoulder, so that would also make sense. A culture by and for blabbering women (and their homosexual and alpha/psychopathic relations).

But it is good for Democrats to say that. It is bad, though, for Stringer to say that: just look at him.

You may state such truths so long as you salivate with anticipation about the coming change. If you state the truth with any longing for the way it was, you are in violation. So Bill Clinton was in the right when he spoke with anticipation of the day whites become a minority. But Pat Buchanan was fired for writing that said displacement was not good.

Both men expressed accepted fact. However, one endorsed it while the other lamented it.

It’s like that with a lot of things. If you say “There wouldn’t be many blacks at Harvard, if not for Affirmative Action”, you’re a racist. But if you say, “Eliminating Affirmative Action would be a disaster for racial equity”, you’re a progressive. If you say, “Left to themselves and among themselves, blacks create dysfunctional hellholes like Baltimore and Haiti”, you’re racist. If you say, “Segregation produces crime, poverty and unemployment”, you’re a progressive.

  • From the Washington Post opinion section: "Seen in this indisputably true context, it seems logical to hate men" -- Take that, Aristotle, Boole, and Frege! Your male logic is, like, over.
  • @sabril
I wonder what psychological process causes masculine lesbians to hate men so much.

    Possible explanations I thought of:

    1. Everyone has anti-male bias, but with men it's balanced by a sense of identity with other men and in straight women it's balanced by sexual attraction.

    2. Lesbians realize at some level that they are physically and intellectually inferior to actual men which causes jealousy and bitterness.

    3. Women become lesbians if they are mistreated by men and this mistreatment results in lasting hatred.

Anyway, I'm pretty confident that sexual misconduct by the likes of Harvey Weinstein is more an excuse than an actual reason for this woman's misandry.

Uniquely, mankind has developed the capacity for reason and the ability to reshape his environment to his own ends. Overwhelmingly, these developments are expressed in the male. The lizard brain hasn’t caught up to this relatively recent reversal in the value of the sexes; hence, the manifest atavistic anti-male bias (expressed as male white knightism and female narcissism). We used to have this thing called “civilization” that worked to curb irrational and destructive impulses, but that’s out of fashion now.

Hey Achmed, weren't you saying just the other day that women are the ones who always want to remodel the house? Rosie's first law again.

As luck should have it, Mr. R caught me in the kitchen with the tape measure the other day, and accused me of "scheming." LOL. Yes, indeed. It's getting to be that time, again.

BTW, upon reflection, it occurred to me that you might be able to figure out why women always want to remodel the house.

If I'm not mistaken, Americans move house every five to seven years, or something like that. Well, by the time you've got your house just as you like it, something comes up and you sell your house. Then, you're back where you started at a new place, wanting to make it your own.

The way to figure out if home improvement is driven by status concerns would be to look into how often women ask for repeat remodels in the same house. I am going to guess that they rarely do so, because they are not trying to keep up with the latest fashions. Rather, they prioritize, first asking hubby to deal with whatever they hate the most. Then, they move on to the next area that needs attention.

Now, obviously, none of this makes remodeling any cheaper, but it does shed light on the why's and wherefores. You have to understand that a woman's home is the physical manifestation of some of her deepest fantasies going back to little girlhood.

We really got terribly carried away with the ostentatious kitchens back in the aughties. You could spend tens of thousands on custom cabinets with innovative interior fittings that gave you, maybe a few square feet more storage space than a kitchen that cost half as much. For everyone's good, the days of the $75,000 kitchen remodel are over.

The old canard is that the Battle of the Sexes will never be won because there is too much sleeping with the enemy. So one path to "victory" for the female side is "no more sleeping with the enemy". For lesbian feminists this is a win-win. However, it's not going to happen = most normal women are not inclined in that direction and will always be attracted to, and have relationships with, men.

Women in the novels by Sayaka Murata want kids. Just not with their husbands who they view quite literally in the novels as "pets." You can read excerpts from the novel in an English Translation by Granta on the web. It's very telling.

The problem with the West has been too much peace.

WE NEED WAR! A war in which lots and lots and lots of ordinary White men kill people. THAT ALONE will make White men sexy enough (no woman can long resist a killer) to have lots and lots of babies, and value their White men instead of violent killer Immavaders.

Most of the MerkelJugend are ISIS deserters, killers all and no surprise, they continue to kill and women flock to them and make excuses. Violent, brutal behavior is what women respond to -- they can't help it as it is genetically programmed into them and a hard-coded machine instruction. Therefore any peaceable society must both keep their women suppressed and without much say in society and thus their men higher in status than their women; and foreign competition out so there is not a race to the bottom in violence as there is in wages with cheap foreign or imported labor.

It is the same market. And indeed as Heartiste has pointed out, the one market that rules them all: the sex market.

Economics don't matter -- with far less disposable income 100 years ago, there was a much higher birth rate. But then, White men WERE on top, and everyone else was on the bottom so White women found White men the sexiest.

A technological divorce of sex and reproduction (and of sex and sexual gratification) is perhaps the only hope at this point (aside from a return to barbarism, which is hardly hopeful at all). The white man, including and in some ways especially the right, has swallowed the axiom of gender equality hook line and sinker (because feels).

This seems to me to be more likely the result of the fact that single men don’t go to events like that.

A more likely explanation is that men below a certain threshold of attractiveness simply don't register with women as sexual beings. In a sense, they are literally invisible.

When women accuse men of being picky and only going for the prettiest girls, what they really mean is that the men they perceive as being sexual beings, i.e. men in the top 10-20% of attractiveness, are very picky and go only for the prettiest girls. Men below that threshold simply don't count.

The reality is that virtually any woman between the ages of 25 and 30 who is not obese can easily find a mate who is her looks-match and is a solid guy (has a job, car, a place, etc.). But women are hypergamous AND largely oblivious to their hypergamy.

Not just ugly women, but any plain or reserved women.

In the real world, and not the echo-chamber of the internet, I see more hypergamy among men than women, at least in flyover country.

I was at a party with former high school classmates. Ages ranged between 25-30. There were far more attractive or plain women who were single, than there were men who were single. Women outnumbered men at the party, too. Many of the women had settled with overweight or lower-earning guys, too. Most of them want kids.

I see evidence that normal men have been so corrupted by porn that they are still chasing peppy sexy “cheerleader” types into their 30s. THEY are the ones who won’t settle. I propose an experiment: Post a (non-identifiable) picture of one of these attractive women between the ages of 25 and 30 and we'll use it to make an experimental dating profile on Plenty of Fish. We can put right in the add that she is looking only to get married and there is no possibility of sex before marriage. I predict that the profile will be inundated with responses from single men who have jobs who are looking for a serious relationship that will lead to marriage.

The Japanese call them Otaku. This words greatly predates 'incel'. They've essentially given up and checked out.

So either, as you assert, they've set their standards too high, failed and so have given up.

Or, as per Heartiste etc., women are hypergamous so the Otaku never had a chance - hence they were beaten into submission between the ages of 13 and 25 and have given up since.

Some Otaku, were they to re-emerge, may even find that, having matured, and/or benefiting from the inversion of the dating market, that when they hit 30 they are actually appreciated. Perhaps those fixated on unrealistic girls are also just protecting themselves from the fear of failure were they to go for a lady who was more available?

The more attractive she is, the higher up on the pecking order she is.

Status among women is apportioned more or less the same as it is among men: reliability and strength of character. Rosie reminds me of the women in today's military, who -- no matter how much they adopt male jargon and scowl and try to look stern -- are still, at the end of the day, the Weaker Vessel. That's the difference between a conservative and a reactionary. As Lawrence Auster used to say, conservatives react far too late to the trends that are destroying society. My comments about women might sound mean-spirited, but only a liberal would disagree with me.

I’m not sure what he meant by that. It seems to me that conservatives whine and carry on (ineffectually) about whatever the left is forcing on society as the imposition is happening, but forget about or embrace it forever once it’s fait accompli. Then, they posture and signal against anyone who has a problem with it, or at best give the empty crimestop stare to anyone who brings it up.

Men need to go on strike by doing No Fap and shunning the sexual urge like Gandhi.

For starters, Gandhi wasn't exactly a celibate ascetic. He was actually quite a pervert.

Putting that aside, being an "incel" is more of a psychological condition than a physiological affliction. As long as lonely men feel a burning sense of shame on account of being single, the No Fap campaign won't do much good.

The real problem is that we live in a status-obsessed society that makes significant numbers of men feel like garbage. Being an incel isn't actually that terrible - until one is constantly bombarded by a "sex sells" pop culture.

More than anything else, disenfranchised incels can free themselves by renouncing mainstream American culture. The obsession with getting laid, female hypergamy, and so on only gives women the very sexual power that's responsible for incels' plight in the first place.

Unplugging is a more effective way to go on strike.

This is correct. Our culture is female driven. Unsurprisingly therefore, we’re constantly being told how very important sex and female approval are to one’s status and personal fulfillment. The “losers” of this sordid, idiocratic scramble (and inevitably in a liberalized marketplace, a substantial number will lose, and a much higher number will not really win) are of course treated with utmost (but non-physical) cruelty, as one would again expect in a female-dominated society. And of course, every swinging dick will never miss a chance to posture about “losers” so as to signal that he’s got his.

All of this is to say of course that modern American “culture” is disgusting and can’t die soon enough.

They both worked at the same place, and his wife would pick up his paycheck along with hers. She'd cash both checks, then disappear for a day or a weekend. He was angry, confused. She made excuses. Turned out she was "partying" with a pro sports team about a 90-minute drive away. I'm not close to the guy, but a friend of his told me the "partying" amounted to drugs and sex with pro ball players. I didn't know the guy before his marriage, but he gives the impression of being a broken guy.

Your exchange with Noam put a smirky grin on my face. I've wondered how much of the talk about sexual revolution is just bullshit cover for chaos and uncertainty in markets for sex and romance. Seems to me the worst spot for a straight White guy to be in is overeducated and underemployed. Working class girls think you're a weirdo or a fag. Educated women think you're manipulable arm candy. (When I told Gladys back in the 1990s I'd had 1500 books in my library, she gave me a simpering "Ain't that nice" look. I thought: this is over.)

Thinking of Harry and Meghan's marriage, I wonder how much Harry would have lost, if anything, if he'd been constrained to look for marriage material within his class.

    Dear JackOH,
Intellectual qualifications are secondary, try finding a woman with a good heart. They like men stably employed and committed to them and any children, even if they are not the highest earners. Nice manners a definite plus. Women who frequent churches might know available and attractive women, and set you up. But they’ll screen whether you are marriage-minded or not.

Muslims allow for polygamy with limits, but actual polygamy is rare among Muslims. What Muslims really have is enforced monogamy and patriarchy, with an allowance for limited polygamy. Polygamy is rare when you have enforced monogamy and patriarchy.

Most Muslim societies are less polygynous than contemporary Western societies are because they have less fornication, adultery, and divorce.

Obviously nobody has a way to quantify the question that I am about to ask, but I am going to go ahead anyway and field a question to isteve commenters:

Would you say that, all things being equal, video games cause a person to be more left-leaning on social issues than that person would otherwise be?

I know that gamergate is a thing, but I suspect that the reason for that anti-sjw movement's popularity can be ascribed to the tendency of young white males to be right-wing, regardless of video game habits.

I'm convinced that video games and nerd-dom in general saps the vital masculine energy of young men. I think that one reason (among many) for why white men are not revolting in general is because they are hopelessly addicted to video games.

I’m sure it has an effect similar to any other sort of opiate, like sportsball or tv. I don’t know that it’s effect is particularly pronounced.

Women are (and again there is objective evidence for this) less willing to put up with "fault" than men - men will live with the status quo even if things are not perfect.

The one thing that is clear is that whatever you incentivize financially, you will get more of. A woman can often IMPROVE her financial situation markedly nowadays by getting divorced (and getting 1/2 the assets plus child support plus the house plus no longer having to provide "marital services"). There are true cases of abuse but there are also tons of false allegations made in order to cash in on the gravy train that the legal system tempts you with.

The other thing that is clear is that divorce is bad for children. So for the sake of "empowering" women you end up with a lot of damaged children (and unhappy, even suicidal, husbands). In the old days, the woman often had no choice but to stick around in an "unhappy" marriage. Now women are happier but at the price of men and children. Should the goal of society be happiness for women or the overall welfare of the family?

From my understanding, women aren’t happier in practice either. Like the venerable scorpion and the tortoise, they make ruinous negative sum decisions when permitted to run amok. Not that I’m concerned with that, mind you: it’s clear their imagined “happiness” comes at the expense of virtually everything conducive to the uplift of civilization, consisting of the most sordid and corrosive sort of perfidy.

  • @AnotherDad

The actress also blamed the show, which ran from 1998 to 2004, as the reason she did not have children

Kim Cattrall--just looked it up--is roughly my age, late boomer. She should have had kids even before she even started that show.

Heck, if she'd asked me in say '83--when she was still in her prime reproductive age--i'd have been happy to put a baby in her. (Physics grad students--male--are pretty easy, and i always try to be a gentleman and help a lady in need.) And Cattrall is/was actually pretty attractive--unlike the lead in that show.

In contrast, the lead of that show--Sarah Jessica Parker--is remarkable for being an actually ugly (lead, not "character") actress. There are lots of actresses i don't find particularly "cute" or "attractive". But Parker is actually facially less attractive than the median American woman. (The typical American woman would be more attractive than Parker if she could keep the weight off.) And yet Parker was the lead in this long running show where she's supposed to be sexy or something. I guess maybe that was the appeal. American women looked at her and her looks are unintimidating--think "if she can find a great guy than i can too". Got to be something like that cause Parker has the face of a horse.

    ~~

Bottom line "no kids" is Cattrall's fault--her life choices.

Nonetheless, it is a tragedy the ridiculously bad advice that the "culture"--if you can call it that--is giving young people, but especially young women. Women are conforming and young women particularly need good advice from the culture.

And you're right, Missouri, 'Sex in the City' was a massive dose of terrible advice for women.

No argument here, but somebody needs to tell that to a lot of AR/WN/etc “leaders”. Our thing has a lot of good guys with good jobs, wives, children, come from good families, etc. But we also have a lot of human wreckage, who would be better off staying far away from the meme wars and getting their shit together.

Yes, WN has a serious quality control issue when it comes to membership. Like Bob Hope's golf club, these movements need to understand that it's more important to drive people out than to pull people in, because you can't do the latter effectively until you take care of the former. The dysfunctional element alienates normal people and makes recruiting much harder than it should be.

People judge a cause by the quality of its advocates not the logic of its arguments. This message needs to be hammered into the heads of all WN leaders.

Yet “normal people” lack a compelling reason to stick their necks out and rock the boat. Much as the tech industry and the military are tragically stuck with stale pale males to type their code and prosecute their wars on the pointy end, so too the alt right with its “dysfunctional element.” You go to war with the army you have. A U.S. Navy officer pleaded guilty to dereliction of duty Tuesday in the collision of a U.S. Navy destroyer that killed seven sailors last year.
    >Lt. j.g. Sarah Coppock was sentenced to receive half-pay for three months.

    >She was the officer of the deck at the time of the collision.

    >Prosecutors laid blame at Coppock’s feet, saying she “chose to be blind,” never sought help from the information center, did not respond properly when she saw the Crystal on the radar 12 nautical miles from the ship and lost situational awareness. She failed to sound blasts alerting the Crystal or attempt to contact it, nor did she alert the commanding officer
    >When it became clear that impact was inevitable, she “failed to give the crew notice, a chance to get out of their racks, a chance to brace themselves.”

    >After the collision, a test taken by a control group of officers on board showed that the average score on “rules of the road” at sea was 59 percent

I knew female officers who weren't a dangerous bad joke but they had this respect and awareness that they were not literally interchangeable with men.

The presence of women outside of sequestered support roles has wrecked military esprit de corps, irrespective of their individual competence (which is unremarkable at best).

One of the things that happens is, everything becomes political, and mountains must be moved so they never appear to be screwing up. The men around a woman are carrying her. In one case I know of, women who fell out of a hike would be taken to ride in a humvee -- and their pack and weapon would then be transferred some some guy already sweating under his own! How do you not come out of that resenting them? And this is a purely physical thing. That same woman might be highly competant in administrative matters. It's unreasonable to demand that she hump like a man.

I think you are very right about this. Women are the ones who have all the power when they're in their twenties. They don't want to marry until that power is gone. They want to screw around as long as possible and then marry some stable guy for kids and family. This has been going on for a long time and a lot of young men have realized that they have no chance as all the women go for 20% of men while the rest get little to nothing. Young men in many cases recognize that the payoff for being responsible and working hard isn't until they're in their mid to late thirties. This is so far off that it isn't a motivator and many of them haven't put the effort into establishing themselves with education and careers.

It’s not really a motivator to speak of at all. How is marrying some used up 39.5 year old with a mocha colored kid in tow any kind of reward for surrendering your youth to corporate America?

Modern western men will end up prizing female virginity above all in the future. One way or another. Just like old times.

    Yes.

I believe the sugar baby industry is a precursor to the return to historical norms.

It will eventually occur to both the men and the girls that they can simply normalize the relationship. Not as in the men suddenly marrying their sugar babies, but in both sides seeking the more conventional financial-romantic relationship with other partners, but still with the age gap.

I predict that sugar daddies will begin to offer higher rates and bonuses for virgins. This will finally drive home the (forgotten) point to girls that it pays to keep their legs closed. Then after that, it's on. The same concept will rapidly drift over into "normal" relationships.

This still isn't going to result in the beta dream of a virgin bride for every man though. There have always been sluts, and there always will be. I think we will head toward more historical normal percentages of sluts, but never really get there. Higher base slut percentage.

The kind of rates the girls can command in these relationships are unreal. Even the not particularly attractive ones. And often even without sex involved. Your daily reminder that all the screeching about “male privilege” is just redirected rage at the prettier half of the female population hogging the loot.

The black woman had a huge chip on her shoulder, so I really, really want to hate her, but the white woman seems to be a head case in her own right. She has law and engineering degrees and is pursuing a philosophy Ph.D. What job is she pursuing, and how much are her student loans going to end up being? And is "she" a woman-born-woman or trans (engineering?)?

This is a case where I really want a lot more facts. Where is the dormatory located? Is it a security building? What is the neighborhood like, crime, demographics? What is the previous history of these two?--a prior encounter was hinted at. Why was the woman sleeping there rather than in her room? Did the white woman know the black women and lie in the report to the police that she was an intruder? And why is the media not asking questions like this before running with the party line? And why is there not a third-party contrarian website asking and investigating questions like this to steal traffic from the normal aggregators by offering something unique?

A female with a Yale PhD, even in the humanities and even in this very terrible academic job market, will have a very good shot at a tenure track position. And the degree is almost certainly fully funded.

  • @Anonym
Why do you continue to lift?

I lifted in my late teens and twenties, on and off. I also did the various component sports of MMA for a while, with some training to integrate them. At some point, I had to ask myself why does a person lift? Beyond a certain point it won't have much ass-kicking benefit. You don't need that much muscle to attract women, at least in my experience. I have a natural fairly mesomorphic build, but there is a big difference between that and the continued effort required to put up a thousand pounds with the powerlifts. I think that likely peak male attractiveness occurs before the 1000 club is reached. I would think by about 700lbs, maybe earlier. Some certainly helps but diminishing returns kick in fast.

I didn't know the 1000 club was a thing. My deadlift was my best lift, my squat relatively poor, my bench ok. I got to about 2.5 plates per side with the chest, I can't actually remember my numbers with dead and squat. From memory it was about 3.5-4+ with the deads. So maybe I got there, I'm not sure. If not it would have been very close. I also preferred not to use a belt as I wanted strength I could use outside a gym.

These days it seems there is not much use for physical strength outside of youthful pursuits. Power is money and influence, not a clip of Arnie lifting up the back of a car as an excuse to pose. I'd also rather be putting the extra food required into my kids. When I'm older I will feel a lot better having (a) son(s) in their twenties to have my back rather than my more feeble efforts at that age.

To be fair BJJ and things of that nature reach a point of diminishing returns fairly quickly too. Most people quit BJJ around bluebelt level. It's enough to handle most people unless you are a dwarf, and how many BJJ experts are going to attack you in real life? Most who have got to that level aren't deliberate fight picking a**holes.

Personally, I lift only because my back muscles grow weak and screw up my posture when I stop.

One thing I’d recommend to STEM type geeks is to check out the more female heavy doctoral departments-especially things like biology or chemical engineering, but also linguistics, history, anything that takes serious intellectual effort-where they can find more women who share, among other things, their scientific curiosity. If they are fellow introverts, they share romantic tastes, if they are an extrovert, they might end up creating a weird “let’s improve each other” exotic symmetry.

STEM type geeks do that. I know several married couples like that.

Incels don't do that. Incels consider checking out women like that as the equivalent of failure.

There seems to be some confusion between "geek" and "incel." A geek would be happy to be in a comfortable relationship with a woman who shares his values. An incel sees women as a status symbol that he's entitled to. It's not a matter of having "Game" or the right look. It's a matter of viewing humans as autonomous beings or as items to posses.

Non-ironic, pejorative use of the word “entitled” is the surest sign of an argument and arguer not worth taking seriously.

Back in the Victorian era, Incels got married by spending a lot of time in the parlor of the young woman they were in love with, and taking long walks with her while they discussed life, the universe, and everything. It takes a very long time for a shy young man to get over his shyness in the presence of someone he is in love with, and it takes a lot of exposure for a young woman to see the value in a man who is normally too shy and awkward to talk to her.

Your average Incel is not a hook-up guy. He is not a one-night-stand guy. He wants a long-term spouse. He doesn't have the nervous system to endure the social stress of one-night stands. That's for extroverts. He likes to kid himself that he does, but he doesn't.

Incels do badly if they just walk up to a woman they've never talked to and ask her out. She's going to say no. They do better if they get involved in a group activity with someone they're in love with, and repeat the activity with her for several weeks. That gives her a better chance to get to know him. It also gives her a chance to see how he behaves in various social situations. He'll get a leg up if the extroverts in the group are a little nasty, and he's more kind.

That’s a nice thought, but it doesn’t work that way in real life anymore. If it did, incels wouldn’t be incels. In fact, the most aggressive extroverts take all in group settings even more so than in other mediums. The biggest bullshitter will beat an introvert to the punch long before the latter has the opportunity to slowly develop anything.

As for the nerves: I suggest drinking heavily. It never really gets fun, but it does get done. It’s a psychopath’s world after all.

Hiring a prostitute still has the accompanying performance anxiety and is not always legally safe. Wouldn't a doughy nerd just invite swindling attempts, at the very least?

Legalized prostitution would solve the incel problem quickly and easily. The supposed epidemic of sexual misconduct afflicting the nation would, insofar as it actually exists, diminish dramatically. But of course we can’t have that, because muh human trafficking (never mind that the most effective way to end such a phenomenon would be to bring it above board) and because the peons must be made to suffer compliantly as a (sick) matter of principle. The petty, vicious female malice towards low status men and the price fixing machinations of the pussy cartel trump all.

It’s not just or even primarily CultMarx.

A lot of this nonsense is the result of smaller family sizes. When a third generation Eagle Scout only has one kid and she’s a girl, it’s not hard to predict the result.

Yeah, you see this a lot with inter-generational military as well.

I quit volunteering with the local mothers of vets group for this reason (among others). A number of other volunteers, albeit well meaning, were there on behalf of their daughters and granddaughters, and as my lack of support for that idea (and Weimerica's military in general) rapidly grew to obsidian-like opposition, I decided I had better things to do with my time.

This is just not true. American WANT to believe that it is true because America has always had an anti-intellectual streak and feel that somehow too much brains has to come at some karmic price. But when this has been studied scientifically (e.g. by the Hopkins Study of Exceptional Talent) it doesn't work that way - the correlation between IQ and successful life outcomes is linear and the curve never turns back down again. Yes there are a few ultra high IQ people who are sort of strange and 'spergy and bordering on nuts (Bobby Fischer) but they are the exception - there are also a lot (more) of dumb people who are also nuts.

The dissident/alt/whatever right also attracts a lot of intelligent but dysfunctional individuals, so there’s likely something of a biased perspective along those lines as well.

while it is true that nobody (except their parents and a few of their good-hearted friends) feels sorry for involuntarily celibate non-religious young males, it is also true that nobody cares that fat girls without genetically pleasant faces almost never get flowers sent to them (and getting flowers sent to them is a big deal for girls, fat or not, whatever they tell you) and nobody cares about guys with 150 plus IQs who have no chance whatsoever at a normal marriage, unless some girl with a similar IQ completely and unexpectedly decides to rule out guys with lower IQs as marriage partners - (and that almost never happens, trust me) -imagine what it feels like to have no chance at having a mate anywhere near intelligent enough not to be boring every day, from first light of morning until midnight!!!!, and nobody cares about those high school sweethearts who get married instead of going to college and who both look like a total unhygeinic mess before they turn 40 (I know what they smell like and what they look like when they are tired and believe me I understand why they have sex less than once a week, poor sods, I often see the look of frustration in their eyes and there is nothing I can do for them).

What is the answer? Ask the Mormons, ask the traditional Catholics (like me), ask the people who believe in a world where God loves us and has always told the truth. There is nobody who cannot make this world a better place - sometimes having suffered from loneliness makes us better at that, and there is nothing more important - not romance, not wedding rings, not buying exciting lingerie for our girlfriends (for guys) or bragging about our boyfriends' sexual prowess to our friends (for girls) that outweighs even the smallest simple kind action that we can do for some creature - even a cat or a dog - that nobody else cares about. The unworthy fraction of males is much larger than that of unlovably ugly females. And the former is, contrary to what you suggest, treated much worse. Society essentially attempts to drive them to suicide (not wanting to get their hands dirty personally in this softer age) through unremitting psychological abuse. Ugly women are, at worst, just left on the shelf (and even then, there’s almost always some dude desperate enough to jump on that grenade).

Imagine calling “virgins” your enemy, considering them terrorists. Spreading despair among the young, the disillusioned, the disabled or the feeble — making them feel terrible about themselves because they are “incel”. Imagine you are that person, who has never harmed anyone, and being told you are ‘terrifying’ by the same people who coddle sodomites, rapists, [pedophile]s and Islamists.

The quick shortcut to romantic success is to be a killer. Read free on Google Books John Wesley Hardins autobiography or look at the ghetto or Mexican sicarios.

This is completely understandable - if you attack Muslims they will fight back. The establishment consists of literal cowards - they prefer to attack people from whom they do not fear retaliation. Even their attack on "fascists" are in this vein because while they profess to live in fear of the KKK their revealed preference is to surround themselves as much as possible at all hours of the day with whites, Asians and a few carefully curated and domesticated high yella NAMs.

Liberals waste years of their lives ensnared by their barking mad ideology because they’ve never so much as walked down the streets of a ghetto, or gone to a public school instead of a private school, or lived outside their expensive neighborhoods.

Where do you come up with such utter nonsense?

A lot of white liberals tend to be high IQ misfits from public schools in Red states who move to Blue cities after college and then spend the rest of their lives despising the "morons" they grew up with. Educated whites who live alongside blacks in places like Philadelphia, Washington or even Baltimore also tend to be very liberal and pro-black. Call it Stockholm syndrome if you want, but it seems to be true. People who go to private school tend to be more Republican than average, although they do probably mostly hate Trump these days.

White liberals generally have greater contact with black and immigrants than white conservatives. The problem is white liberals tend to have a deep-seated hatred of white conservatives, and that allows them to excuse all manner of nasty behavior by non-whites.

Clearly, hiqh IQ is no guarantee of being correct on any issue. Correctness requires both competent logical deduction, and correct assumptions upon which to base the deductive process, and the former is of little use if the latter are askew. Experience suggests intelligence is mainly about the former, whereas the latter depends mostly upon emotional and tribal loyalty issues and related faith-based assumptions, including assessments of other people's and organisations' honesty and reliability as sources of evidence based upon those issues.

And of course straightforward self-interested dishonesty often applies as well, as you note.

If my time in DC has taught me anything, it’s that IQ and objectivity correlate not at all. The level of adroitly articulated group think in this town never ceases to astonish me.

LOL, CP. At our local state university, energetic junior faculty who stir senior faculty from their usual slumber can almost be assured of a whispering campaign alleging sexual misconduct. Took me a while to figure out the "why" of it. Sad to say, I think it's because some faculty enter their professions partly because it gives them access to women who were otherwise unavailable to them back when they were lonely four-eyed geeks struggling with nerd-hood.

I fail to see what’s so “sad” about it. Why should low-iq chads get everything?

Women seem to self-organize into harems, so I would say yes.

I recall reading an article where female university students were bemoaning the lack of men. First, the ratio is 60/40 which is unfair. And out of the 40%, of course only half are at all tolerable. Then the remaining 20% get so smug, so intolerable, so unfaithful, often dating multiple women. But what can you do?

Of course, maybe men should get in touch with their natural urges a bit more too and kill each other a bit more. Then the women will have to compete a bit harder for the survivors.

I'll leave notes on polygynous society for later, but I think it indicates that women will be overall uglier and make less effort.

Jimmy Soul knew the secret way back in 1963...

If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
So from my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you

A pretty woman makes her husband look small
And very often causes his downfall
As soon as he marries her then she starts
To do the things that will break his heart

But if you make an ugly woman your wife
You'll be happy for the rest of your life
An ugly woman cooks meals on time
And she'll always give you peace of mind

Don't let your friends say you have no taste
    Go ahead and marry anyway
Though her face is ugly, her eyes don't match
Take it from me, she's a better catch

Years ago I married a young woman who was not a traditional beauty... she'd be classed as the girl who had beautiful friends, but was usually passed over for her hotter acquaintance. She wasn't ugly in any sense - maybe a six and a half on the Rossi scale. I'm not saying that I'm a prince of the charming variety by any means, but I saw in her the opportunity to have someone who would be grateful for the chance to be a good wife; and so she has been. I realize that to some that may sound supremely condescending in nature, and so it is. I run my house, and my family understands that implicitly.

After being married for almost a decade she continues to do all she can to demonstrate that she appreciates a man devoted to her well being. I provide a decent income and she keeps the ship running smoothly. She keeps in Crossfit shape even after bearing three strong kids, cooks amazingly well (through having to take care of herself for years), and manages money in a rather stringent, fiscally responsible manner. Our house is always clean and I've never seen her sitting still (probably the Slavic urge to go-go-go). She is an extremely fierce mother and above all, isn't the type of woman to use sarcasm in place of humor... no harpy this one. In brief, when given the chance to enter a union with a man who would care for her and make a home, she blossomed amazingly well.

I would consider myself lucky, except that I don't think luck had anything to do with it. Silly as it sounds, the lyrics above spoke to me and I chose my mate on their rational import.

Save yourself years of peace, men, and listen to those lyrics! They're correct!

This seems logical — but is it really empirically verifiable? Every 6 has delusions of grandeur these days.
