From The Daily Caller: EXCLUSIVE: Deployed US Navy Has A Pregnancy Problem, And It’s Getting Worse by Richard Pollock 9:28 PM 03/01/2017 A record 16 out of 100 Navy women are reassigned from ships to shore duty due to pregnancy, according to data obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by The Daily Caller News...
  • @Triumph104
2007 The Navy has a higher rate of "unplanned" pregnancies than the civilian population.

The Navy's most recent survey found 14 percent of all women in the Navy were single mothers in 2005, up from 11 percent in 2003 and 7 percent in 2001. Fourteen percent isn't unprecedented – similar statistics were found in 1989 and 1999 – but military officials say they don't know the reason for the recent increase.

The Pregnancy and Parenthood survey also found that almost two-thirds of enlisted women who became pregnant in the previous year had not planned to do so.

That's higher than the overall U.S. unintended pregnancy rate of 49 percent – and well above the Department of Defense's target rate of 30 percent.

The fact that the DoD even has a “target” unplanned pregnancy rate is what I find telling. That a woman could have sexual intercourse and actually be surprised by a subsequent pregnancy is not a convincing scenario. Apparently up to 49% of the general female populace and two thirds of the female military are unaware that actions have consequences or are just lying.

That is why I never believed any women when they tell me they are on the pill. I always use rubber unless they are old enough to be out of childbearing age, than I will go raw.

“If we don’t step up and tell a representative story …

Ie, if you don't stop making TV shows about the English and their history and replace them with shows about Muslims and Africans and our fantasy future.

    "Dr. Mohammed Who:
"A member of an alien race called the Time-Caliphs, Dr. Mohammed travels through time rectifying perversions of the timeline like the battle of Lepanto. His spaceship, the Retardis, is permanently stuck in the form of a dessert tent."

    "Fawlty Twin Towers:
The (((bufoonish engineer-proprieter))) of an English hotel repeatedly burns his hotel down through malice towards his Paki guests, who are usually saved by the highly competent Spanish bellhop."

    "Mohammed Python:
An ir-irreverent look at Islamic customs. Best known for 'The Poppy Farmer' skit... 'Oh, I'm a poppy farmer, and I'm okay... I want to be a bacha bazi, just like my dear papa.' "

    "Middle-Eastenders:
A sitcom about the residents of London."

    "Downton Mosque:
An English lord revives his dying ancestral home by turning it into a mosque and marrying off his daughters to immigrants."

And for the cultured viewers: “Merchant of Rotherham”, “A Middummer Night’s Stab”, “Bloodshed Revisted”…

  • From What Is Race? by Whit Taylor.
  • @JohnnyWalker123
Phillipe Rushton has trafficked in a lot of pseudoscience over the years.

    1. He claims that high-IQ evolved under conditions of extreme cold, but that's not really true. Historically, it's been warm-weather regions that have been more advanced. Compare the more primitive tribes of colder North America to the more advanced MesoAmerican civilizations (Aztecs, Incas, Mayas). In China, the hot, humid southeastern coast produced more merchants and successful Imperial Exam candidates than the colder northern part of the country. In India, the extremely hot southern region of India is the center of the IT industry, while the relatively colder northern Indian states are much more impoverished and illiterate. What about advanced warm weather civilizations like the Egyptians, Sumerians, Babylonians, Nubians, Indus Valley, Romans, and Greeks? Why have civilizations usually seen the northern races as being more "barbaric"?

    2. He claims that "North Asians" are more advanced than other races. As evidence, he offers the success of the Chinese diaspora, which is mostly of southeastern Chinese origin. The southeastern Chinese racially group in with southeast Asians, who evolved in hot weather conditions. Using southeastern Chinese as an example of high-IQ "North Asians" is bizarre. It's like using Portugese as an example of high Slavic IQ.

    3. "North Asians" include Mongolians, whose country is not known for its academic or economic dynamism. They also include the Asian peoples of eastern Russia, who are among the poorest ethnic groups of the country. Other than Koreans and Japanese, "North Asians" aren't especially wealthy or successful.

    4. Of all races, South Asians are the lowest in physical strength and muscle mass, while being the highest in sexual restraint. They have a lower mean IQ than White Euros and Asians. How do they fit in with this? It doesn't reflect well on Rushton that his model can't account for 1/5th of humanity.

    5. "Orientals" are not a historically low fertility race. Historically, the Chinese married early and had large numbers of children. That's one reason why Chinese hit the malthusian limit much more harshly. Anyway, southern Euros have lower fertility than northern Euros now. Does than mean that Italians and Greeks are more advanced than Swedes?

    6. The Middle Eastern Muslims have the strictest sexual access with regards to their women. Are they K-selected?

    7. According to the statistics, Asian-American women have a higher chlamydia positivity rate than White-American women. Asian-American men and White men are nearly identical. In the UK, South Asian-British women are lower (in positivity) than White-British women. South Asian men are much lower than White-British men. What does this imply about sexual restraint?

I could go on, but I'm not sure why so many people here take Rushton's theories seriously.

The Unz-Clark model (surival of the most frugal and industrious farmers, combined with downward fertility mobility of the less successful) seems to make more sense. Also, factor in urbanization rates. That'd explain why warm weather regions tended to be more advanced.

Um, Rushton presented the data available up to 1995 and speculated as to the explanation. Anyone reading RE&B understands that these explanations were hypothetical. Rushton’s broad observations have never been contradicted, despite his exclusion of South Asians, who are by no means a homogeneous group. As to your observation on relative chlamydia rates among Asians, they are not supported by CDC data found here: https://www.cdc.gov/std/stats15/tables/11b.htm#modalIdString_CDCTable_1

Um, Rushton presented the data available up to 1995 and speculated as to the explanation.

Back in 1995, most of this history was well known. It's not like we suddenly discovered the existence of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, MesoAmerica, Indus Valley, Greece, or Rome. There was also plenty of data from China, India, Russia, and other parts of the world. I suppose Rushton may not have been aware of any of this, but that just shows the faultiness of his theory.

Anyone reading RE&B understands that these explanations were hypothetical.

Liberals have lots of hypothetical explanations too. Before offering up hypotheticals, it would've been a good idea to check his theory. For example, were MesoAmericans inferior to the Eskimos? Is Southern China poorer than Northern China? It's not hard to check any of this.

As to your observation on relative chlamydia rates among Asians, they are not supported by CDC data found here: https://www.cdc.gov/std/stats15/tables/11b.htm#modalIdString_CDCTable_1

Rushton’s broad observations have never been contradicted, despite his exclusion of South Asians, who are by no means a homogeneous group.

There's plenty of data on South Asian populations in the U.S. and U.K. From what I've read, South Asians are about as genetically homogenous as White Europeans. It would've made sense to include them.

As to your observation on relative chlamydia rates among Asians, they are not supported by CDC data found here: https://www.cdc.gov/std/stats15/tables/11b.htm#modalIdString_CDCTable_1

Those only include reported cases. Rather than look at that data set, it's better to look at positivity rates among random samples. One longitudinal study found that AA women had higher positivity rates than NHW women. AA men and NHW men were roughly equal. Other studies support this finding.

  • This stuff is great. It’s so nice of them to present the HBD arguments so clearly. It will completely backfire. One of my high school teachers had us read SJ Gould’s “Mismeasure of Man” back in the ’80s. I saw through his fancy arguments and into the actual data he was trying to discredit. That’s when I red pilled. I’m always thankful for that attempt at brainwashing.

I came to HBD in the same way. I picked up "Mismeasure of Man" thinking that is was going to school those racists. I was shocked by the collection of shopworn and shabby rhetorical techniques he deployed, and by the time I got to the end I was thinking that if this was the best his side had then the other side probably had a point. So I went looking for their side of the argument.

For me it was a question on my anthropology final that read, "The Bell Curve is a very bad, very racist book, written by two very bad men. True or False?" Well it wasn't worded precisely like that but that was the gist of it. It was one of maybe two questions from the only lecture I'd missed that semester, but it was clear which answer they were looking for, even if you hadn't heard of the book.

I can't imagine I was the only student who read that and thought, "Okay, what are these f*ckers trying to hide?"

A cold wind from the east would require the desert to be cold, which it isn't except in the middle of the night. The native plants here are also adapted for the 10 inches of rain climate. So I think the Southern California climate has not changed much in the past 250 years.

I don't agree with Chandler on the SA winds. I think they are quite pleasant, especially when they produce summer weather outside summer.

The most freakish weather here is when there is hail storms when it is 55-65 degrees on the ground. But that happens every 2-3 years.

Portland gets a cold wind from the east when a cold area of high pressure sits above Oregon’s eastern desert and funnels biting 20F winds down the Columbia gorge. This was formerly quite frequent in the ’70s and ’80s but has since become less frequent, making a notable return this winter. I suppose a similar phenomenon could occur in LA if cold, heavy arctic air took up residence in the Mojave and funneled winds through the San Gabriel valley.

Biologist here. A clear distinction must be made between run-of-the-mill “genetic engineering”, which happens at the plasmid DNA level every day in any given bio lab, and genetic engineering of higher organisms, which is much more difficult and laborious. Transgenic mouse technology has been around for ages, but is still not trivial to perform. All of the same criticisms that Catholic moral theologians make of IVF can be made a fortiori to CRISPR-based engineering, which is just IVF+ Ultra. There is a certain non-trivial rate of off-target (think random mutagenesis) activity with CRISPR that is not fully understood. (High fidelity Cas9 was only published a year ago). Using this technology on humans at this stage is just unethical and will be nothing more than a monument to hubris. Give me a couple of decades of solid preclinical data (which is what you’ll need in order to examine heritable effects in non-human primates) and I may change my mind.

“The average American white is being ethnically cleansed in his own country.”

Patently false. There is no systematic government operation, nor covert agenda by elites, to decimate American Caucasians. That is a False News Story. Moreover, white people are still having children, albeit in fewer numbers, which represents their liberty to sire as much offpsring as they desire.

“Who are you to call his sexuality “immoral”? Using the kind of argument you routinely employ, millions of people are cool with a guy being a flamingly queer promiscuous homosexual, so who are you to say there is anything wrong with it?”

Indeed, there are millions of American men and women who are fine with homosexuality. I have no issues with gayness. But according to the Alt Right and neoreactionaries, homosexuality is evil personified and is part and parcel to Cultural Marxism. Does not the Bible state that homosexuality is a sin? But somehow he is given a free pass. Because “no enemies to my right”. So why don’t you come out on this blog to defend Milo’s lifestyle if you personally find it other than immoral?

“No systematic government operation”? Um, how about deliberately failing to enforce immigration restrictions? Have you visited California recently? When I was born here in the sixties it was 80% non-Hispanic white. That number now stands at 38%. Perhaps this is not cleansing so much as dilution, but with the highschool aged population now standing at 25% white, 50% Hispanic it sure feels like a clean sweep.

Earlier this month, a man named Kamal Samater, who self-identifies as Muslim, was arrested after threatening members of the mosque, according to the Seattle Times. He was charged Friday with a hate crime.

But Ahmed Brown, a member of the mosque, said he believed the hate crime charge may be too much. Members of the mosque had met Samater on several occasions and found him to be unwell.

“Clearly this is an individual is mentally disturbed, mentally unsound,” Brown told KIRO.

“If a person who didn’t have psychiatric issues came into a place of worship and threatened bodily harm, that would be a different issue,” Brown said. “In this case, I think it’s just a testament to the low investment in mental health care in this state.”

The real culprit was arrested this morning: Isaac Wayne Wilson, a black man ( not that the article says that, but the King County Jail recorded his race on their database) with an extensive criminal record. Probably neither hate crime nor hoax, just pyrotechnic vibrancy.

Did anti-Asian racism really decline? It seems like generally today it's permissible for all other ethnic groups to mock Asian Americans, i.e. Oscars Asian skit, etc. And Asian bashing in general, even amongst white liberals, seems to be par for the course.

I've seen plenty of anti-Asian racism from white, black, and Hispanic Americans in equal measure, so hard for me to say that there's been a decline in anti-Asian racism as a whole.

I find this observation curious. It’s hard to tell what would constitute anti-Asian “racism”. An Asian (born in US) colleague observed that she had spent a year north of Seattle near the Canadian border and would never return because of the racism. I asked her what had happened. She said that upon a visit to a mountain valley village she had been complimented on how well she spoke English. That was it. Apparently, it was too much to handle. I wasn’t so convinced that this actually constituted racism. That was much better than the treatment I experienced as a German speaking white fellow in Austria, where my German questions were answered in English. In case I was left with any doubt, I was usually informed that my German was wanting. This wasn’t racism, just rudeness. But what do I know? Maybe you mean incidents like the time some Morro Bay hick screamed out and called me a faggot while I was walking my dogs through his town, or when some random Central American immigrant spat at me when I smiled a greeting at him on the streets of Portland. These things happen all the time. It’s not racism, just humans being rude.

The idea that "White people have to find their place as a minority" is satisfying to various minorities but it will not play out like that. You aren't going to have white men reduced to being Chai Wallahs for minority or women overlords.

What you will have is a caste stratification such as took place in South Africa or India. The wealth, power, and prestige will all be concentrated into the hands of a white majority, with some suitable Asian mixture, and below them will be a mercantile class of mixed race, and below them a pariah class, half of whom will not speak English, which will get free money to shut up and clean the toilets.

All of this will be set up to benefit the wealth and power of the top few percent. Cheer up, it will probably include most of the people who post here and their children. But it will be the end of democracy.

This is already the system we have in California, with the elite Eurasian caste liberally supplemented with talented expats (think Elon Musk). A key distinguishing feature of this caste system is that everyone is obligated to – and willingly does – pretend it doesn’t exist. It’s easy in the Bay, when you need 3 million to buy a crappy ranch house in a “nice neighborhood “, to think of yourself as the same middle class person from the same middle class ranch house neighborhood you grew up in back in the seventies. With$3M you’re not buying property of course, you’re buying neighbors. Just don’t ever try to put it that way to a member of the top caste, though. You won’t be accused of racism, you’ll just be forced to sit through a half hour story of why that particular elite person isn’t like his elite neighbors because some of his best friends are Mexican (or Pakistani psychiatrists or 1/4 Cherokee engineers, etc) and he probably would have lived in Mexican neighborhood X if it weren’t so far from work, carbon footprint, etc. Meanwhile, white members of caste 2 below him (who actually live in that Mexican neighborhood, because it’s the only place they can afford) are under obligation to hire his son or neighbor’s son to a coveted internship spot that should have gone to a more talented external candidate. The whole setup would be an epic nepotism fail if HBD realities didn’t insure the kids inherited some of mommy and daddy’s talent. But, then, you can’t say that to them either. Fortunately, no one ever brings it up.

There are many reasons for these disparities: income and wealth gaps, disciplinary policies that “push out” black students from school systems, less experienced teachers, the early-learning gap between high- and low-income children.

The dishonesty and/or ignorance of this statement is mind-blowing. As if blacks are being kicked out of school for lesser infractions than whites, and not because of, say, assaulting their teacher.

And 'less experienced teachers'. I know the Coleman Report was, like, ancient history, but it did conclusively show that black teachers actually had more years of formal education than white teachers, but still were less qualified and had lower verbal skills.

Not to mention the fact that kicking out the trouble makers would not only result in an environment more conducive to learning but it would also increase the average test scores by getting rid of the worst performers. But, you can’t expect that kind of logic from a reporter with an axe in need of grinding.

But police said the asylum seekers started the confrontation - and later hurled bottles at the police trying to save them from a beating.

Bautzen could best be described as a large town – in the remotest part of far southern east Germany (Saxony). I imagine the BRD thought it clever to stash the “refugees” in such an incosequential place. When I was there in ’93, the locals had no patience for the idea of non-German refugees in their midst. This was the last time “neo-nazis” were an “urgent” concern. Theses provincial Saxons were refreshingly candid in their ethnocentrism. To them, the “neo-nazis” were just civic minded local boys with legitimate concerns about ensuring that the recently united Germany looked after the concerns of Germans first. Good to see they haven’t changed all that much.

Why do the human sciences record pervasive behavioral differences among racial groups, such as in violent-crime rates?

Well that's wrong, straight off the bat.

West African immigrants to the United States are well behaved and successful. The child of an African immigrant became the first black President, out of how many slave-descended blacks?

Different crime rates have most likely nothing to do with biological destiny, and everything to do with culture. Of course we should test all hypotheses, but that's the way the evidence points.

We in the reality-based community needs to up our semantic game. You can't have good arguments without accurate language. I suggest "SDBA" - Slave Descended Black American. You can make specific and accurate statements about the SDBA population. Generalize about all blacks and you're on shaky ground.

The new terminology also gives us the tools to distinguish blacks pretending to be SDBA for political reasons (Obama) from actual SDBA's.

Um, West African immigrants are coming from the upper reaches of West African society, the so called Wa Benzi elite (like the daughter of the Nigerian consul at my high school who was as black as the night but as white as a clever Valley girl) and those not quite at that level with the ambition to become something more. Their US counterparts would be the “talented tenth”. It is no surprise they exhibit different behavior. If we were to import en mass the Lagos slum-dwellers, I imagine we would see a similar criminality profile to “SDBAs”. You must choose your control groups very carefully, even in the social sciences.
