Something very odd is going on in Washington. I recently attended and spoke at a conference in Washington on “realism and restraint” as a broad formula to reform U.S. foreign policy. Most presentations reflected that agenda more-or-less but oddly one of the speakers said that it was necessary for the United States to mark its place in the world while “carrying a big stick” while another panelist asserted that it was a core mission of the American people to “help other countries striving to be free.” Both were referring to how the U.S. should comport itself vis-à-vis Russia and one had to suspect that they had wandered into the auditorium by mistake, intending instead to visit the nearby American Enterprise Institute.

That such views should be forthcoming at a conference featuring “restraint” might not in fact be regarded as particularly surprising if one bothers to listen to either the Republican or Democratic so-called debates. Nationalism and American “exceptionalism” are easy products to sell at any time, but recently there has been a strain of bellicosity that is quite astonishing to behold, particularly as only one candidate has ever served in the military, and he was a lawyer. One might call it “Chickenhawks on Parade.”

It is useful to consider in their own words what the GOP candidates said last Tuesday night. Carly Fiorina led the baying pack with “One of the reasons I’ve said I wouldn’t be talking to Vladimir Putin right now is because we are speaking to him from a position of weakness brought on by this administration, so, I wouldn’t talk to him for a while, but, I would do this. I would start rebuilding the Sixth Fleet right under his nose, rebuilding the military — the missile defense program in Poland right under his nose. I would conduct very aggressive military exercises in the Baltic States so that he understood we would protect our NATO allies…and I might also put in a few more thousand troops into Germany, not to start a war, but to make sure that Putin understand that the United States of America will stand with our allies… We must have a no fly zone in Syria because Russia cannot tell the United States of America where and when to fly our planes. We also have a set of allies in the Arab Middle East that know that ISIS is their fight…but they must see leadership support and resolve from the United States of America…we have the strongest military on the face of the planet, and everyone has to know it.”

Ben Carson added his two cents, “And what we have to recognize is that Putin is trying to really spread his influence throughout the Middle East. This is going to be his base. And we have to oppose him there in an effective way… What we’ve been doing so far is very ineffective, but we can’t give up ground right there. But we have to look at this on a much more global scale. We’re talking about global jihadists. And their desire is to destroy us and to destroy our way of life. So we have to be saying, how do we make them look like losers? Because that’s the way that they’re able to gather a lot of influence… And I think in order to make them look like losers, we have to destroy their caliphate. And you look for the easiest place to do that? It would be in Iraq. And if — outside of Anbar in Iraq, there’s a big energy field. Take that from them. Take all of that land from them. We could do that, I believe, fairly easily, I’ve learned from talking to several generals, and then you move on from there.”

And Senator Marco Rubio added his own insights, saying that “I believe the world is a stronger and a better place, when the United States is the strongest military power in the world… I’ve never met Vladimir Putin, but I know enough about him to know he is a gangster. He is basically an organized crime figure that runs a country, controls a $2 trillion economy. And is using to build up his military in a rapid way despite the fact his economy is a disaster. He understands only geopolitical strength. And every time he has acted anywhere in the world, whether it’s in Ukraine or Georgia before that, or now in the Middle East, it’s because he is trusting in weakness… our allies in the region do not trust us. For goodness sake, there is only one pro-American free enterprise democracy in the Middle East, it is the state of Israel. And we have a president that treats the prime minister of Israel with less respect than what he gives the ayatollah in Iran… And we do have a vested interest. And here’s why. Because all those radical terrorist groups…they are coming to us. They recruit Americans using social media. And they don’t hate us simply because we support Israel. They hate us because of our values. They hate us because our girls go to school. They hate us because women drive in the United States.”

Governor John Kasich demonstrated why it would have been best if he had stayed in Ohio, saying “In the Ukraine, arm the people there so they can fight for themselves. In the eastern part of Europe, make sure that Finland and the Baltics know that if the Russians move, we move. In Syria, yes, a no-fly zone in the north on the Turkish border, a no-fly zone on the south on the Jordanian border. Anybody flies in the first time, maybe they can fly out. They fly in there a second time, they will not fly out… in the countries of the Gulf States of Bahrain, the Cleveland Clinic is opening an operation. Clearly we see the same with them. And in Israel, we have no better ally in the world, and no more criticizing them in public, we should support them.”

Governor Jeb Bush, running fast to make up for his lackluster campaign, added “I’d say it [the number one threat facing the U.S.] is Islamic terrorism, and, back to the question of what we are dealing with in Iraq, when we pull back voids are filled. That’s the lesson of history, and, sadly, this president does not believe in American leadership. He does not believe it, and the net result is that we have a caliphate the size of Indiana that gains energy each and every day to recruit Americans in our own country, and the threat to the homeland relates to the fact that we have not dealt with this threat of terror in the Middle East. We should have a no fly zone in Syria. We should have a support for the remnants of the Syrian Free Army, and create safe zones… Without American leadership every other country in the neighborhood begins to change their priorities. It is tragic that you see Iraq, and other countries now talking to Russia. It wasn’t that long ago that Russia had no influence in the region at all. And, so, the United States needs to lead across the board.”

I can almost picture the lads and lassies from the various neocon entities including the John Hay Initiative, the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and the American Enterprise Institute grinning as they brief the GOP candidates on foreign policy. What a treat to have a gaggle of perfect tabulae rasae possessing the combined intellectual curiosity of an aardvark dutifully waiting in line to have their empty heads filled with nonsense. Carly wins the prize for sheer venom and willingness to start a war. She would be firing at Russians on the ground and in the air. Why? So we can fly wherever we want.

But I think that Ben Carson wins the dummy prize for his brilliant plan to destroy the “Caliphate” by taking away their “big energy field.” And Rubio comes close with his claim that Putin is nothing but a gangster plus his George W. Bush-like assertion that terrorists hate us because of our “values,” allowing women to go to school in our country and also drive cars. Kasich meanwhile sees the Cleveland Clinic as a barometer of civilization while I challenge anyone to make sense out of what Jeb Bush said. He has apparently inherited the gift of tongues from his brother.

And then, of course, it never hurts to give the nod of approval to Israel, which is the only “pro-American free enterprise democracy” in the Middle East as well as “no better ally in the world.” Amen.

The outlier Donald Trump actually made some sense, saying “…If Putin wants to go and knocked the hell out of ISIS, I am all for it, 100%, and I can’t understand how anybody would be against it… Assad is a bad guy, but we have no idea who the so-called rebels — I read about the rebels, nobody even knows who they are. So, I don’t like Assad. Who’s going to like Assad? But, we have no idea who these people, and what they’re going to be, and what they’re going to represent. They may be far worse than Assad. Look at Libya. Look at Iraq. Look at the mess we have after spending $2 trillion dollars, thousands of lives, wounded warriors all over the place…”

There was also some pushback from Senator Rand Paul who counseled a defense policy linked to national interest as well as affordability, but many of the other candidates sought to outdo each other in terms of vilifying Russia and Putin while talking tough about how they would deal with him.

Indeed, the willingness to fight Russkies and Persians simultaneously has surfaced more than once in the current series of debates. But consider for a moment how a war with second rate power Iran would be something less than a cakewalk even if everything went perfectly, and one knows that in war little goes to plan. Iran has sophisticated air defenses and naval resources that could wreak havoc in the narrow waters of the Straits of Hormuz. An American carrier could easily be destroyed. It would be a replay of the worst experiences in Iraq combined with the worst of Afghanistan, given Iran’s terrain, size, resources and willingness to fight.

But Iran aside, the focus is invariably on Moscow. Backing Russia’s Putin into a corner where he felt that he had to strike first with his available military resources, to include tactical nuclear weapons, would be something on quite a different level and the word catastrophic comes immediately to mind. Even if Russia were only limiting itself to military targets, it could, in short order, sink all of America’s vaunted and highly vulnerable air craft carriers and destroy the satellite communications systems that the modern U.S. armed forces depend on. One leading military analyst even believes that the Russian Army is better designed to fight an actual ground war than is the vastly more expensive version fielded by the United States, which should surprise no one. Colonel Douglas Macgregor postulates that U.S. forces would likely be annihilated.

Many of those inside the beltway doing the pushing for confrontation argue that Washington and Moscow have long been restrained, in theory, by what is known as “mutually assured destruction,” meaning that a nuclear war is unthinkable because it would destroy both countries and possibly the world. But there might be some high up in both governments who think that a limited exchange could actually be somehow controlled, even while understanding that if a nuclear tit-for-tat were to escalate the targeting could easily shift to cities. Certainly the GOP candidates are flirting with entertaining that possibility, even if they are not completely aware of what they are implying.

In truth, the dangerous Washington consensus that Russia must for some reason to be confronted and even destabilized truly boggles the mind, particularly as it has become dogma for both political parties and even for many critics of the global war on terror and all its tainted fruit. And the brinkmanship game with a nuclear weapon armed adversary that is being played is, as veteran diplomat William Polk has observed, “…moving closer to the danger point of provoking their use.” It is difficult to understand why it is so. Russia is, if anything, helping in Syria and could even broker some kind of negotiated settlement, while the situation with Ukraine and Crimea is far less Manichean that the U.S. media has depicted it to be. Russia does not threaten the United States and it does not threaten Western Europe, but push hard enough and long enough and a nightmare scenario could easily arise, driven by carelessly stoked fear and the thoughtless language employed by an array of presidential wannabes as well as their punditry enablers.

Oh Phil, please stop making sense. Do you not know that there is a longstanding rule for political candidates that ensures all candidates state at least once daily that Russia is evil and Israel, actually all Jews, even the ones spying on New Zealand are awesome.

See the Islamic bad fellers hate us cause of our freedoms. Yup, that’s why. It’s not because we have become soft, infertile and decadent. Nope they hate us because we have freedoms like free speech. You know the free speech we have to criticize two dudes who wear dresses and adopt a little African baby as their pet

Now, America needs to kick some foreign butt, like when we beat Zee agehmans. How do they wear brown shirts and have moustaches. That WW2 worked out well for us. Civilization has mightily improved since then. Glad the good guys won.

THE ZIONISTS WANT AMERICAN WHITE GOYIM TO GET THEM MORE LAND FOR GREATER ISRAEL—OR DIE KILLING OTHER WHITE GOYIM.

Thanks for the interesting article, Sir. These Presidential candidates are on the payroll of the Jewish Lobby and the Jewish oligarchs probably wrote their speeches for them to utter. As is well known, 50% of the campaign contributions to the Democrats and 40% to the republicans are from the Jewish lobby.

The Jewish lobby owns and operates our politicians and all 3 branches of our govt. through B&B—bribes and blackmail. The bribes are the campaign contributions above the table and millions more paid under the table. Those who do not take the bribes are hounded, attacked by the Jewish controlled media, blackmailed and even framed.

The sad reality is that the world’s superpower is actually owned and operated by a small criminal gang–the Jewish lobby.

Russia’s intervention in Syria has blocked Israel’s dream of a “Greater Israel” so the Judaists want the gullible white Christians (armies of the Americans/NATO thugs) to attack the white Russians. Maybe Israel will win, but if it loses, and the white goyim kill other white goyim, the Judaists will still win their dream of white extermination.

So that is the Jewish plan—let the white goyim kill each other. Unless the gullible public wakes up and institutes national referenda, or Congress tries to impeach Obama if he starts WW3, or the Army wakes up and revolts (realizing that they are being exploited by the Judaists) and refuse to fight, we may be looking at WW3.

Hi Phil. True, the Republican field is awful (not that the Dems are any better). At least Trump and Paul are still thinking outside the neocon box.

But one glaring reason for all the hatred being directed towards Russia by our money-grubbing candidates is that Russia is still allied with both Syria and Iran.

And can you guess which ‘democratic’ Mideast ally of ours is still technically at war with Syria and virtually at war with Iran? You guessed it.

Yep, it’s those plucky, downtrodden, freedom-loving Israelis. Gotta love em.

In America, there’s no escaping Israel’s righteous wrath and shadowy influence.

Therefore, to please Israel (and its influential wing of billionaire donors from Wall St and think tanks in Washington) Official Washington will be maintaining high levels of bellicosity towards all nations and people who displease the Jewish State. This includes Russia, Syria and Iran.

With that in mind, prepare for more US-initiated showdowns, more US-initiated wars, and more terrorism directed at targets connected to US policies.

Onward Christian Soldiers! Democracy is Great!

American Conservatives hate Putin because he exemplifies what they are not.
His very presence shames them because he stands firm for Russia while they grovel before the Big Jew for pennies on the dollar.

“References to Iran and North Korea nuclear threats are just a cover for the true purpose [of the NATO missile defense shield]. That is to neutralize the potential of other nuclear states not the US or its allies – primarily Russia. The US is attempting to achieve strategic military superiority, with all the consequences that entails… Now, the Iranian problem is off the table – treaties have been signed and ratified. Yet, the work on missile defense continues, as before. [Russia will take] necessary measures to respond by strengthening its own missile defense. And at the first stage we are also going to develop strike weapons that can penetrate any missile defense shield… We have pointed out that these actions [construction of the shield] are an attempt to undermine the nuclear parity principle, and to destabilize the existing world and regional order”

“The time has come for the world to wake up and unite in order to defeat terrorism. The time has come for countries to condemn terrorism against us to the same degree that they condemn terrorism everywhere else in the world,” Netanyahu said at the start of a weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday, further adding Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas should renounce attacks on Israelis over recent weeks.

    and

    2) After WWII the global economic system was balanced around the US. This worked when the US was an economic as well as a military superpower but off-shoring the US economy unbalanced the system and now the world, not just Russia wants to break away from it while Washington tries to scare everyone with sabre rattling.

I hardly doubt this dude is providing the most accurate or objective analysis of US military capabilities.

I personally believe the U.S. should stay out of the Mideast. If Putin wants to take on ISIS and get bogged down in Syria that’s his business.

But it says something about the quality of Giraldi’s research that he goes to a guy like Perry for authority.

what about the Germans, (or Polish or governments and citizens of the Baltic states from where you’d “conduct very aggressive military exercises”? Do they have any say?

one of the things Putin has pointed out is that the US fecal government has no use for partners or friends; only vassals. Just imagine a US politician saying with perfect confidence that she’d deploy troops in Russia, as if Russia was her property to do with as she felt- like she speaks of Germany or Poland.

Like an alpha baboon, these global domination shitstains at the American Enterprise Institute [or CFR or any of the other usual suspects]. simply can not abide someone who looks them in the eye as an equal, they need that submissive gesture and downward glance from every member of “their” troop. And as an aside, since this article is headed by an image of a vicious and vile Jewish war-pig bitch~ from a family of Jewish war pig$, it isn’t just the Zionists and assorted whores to Jewish lucre who’re trying to foist all of these contrived wars and slaughter for fun and profit, it’s also anti-Russian psychopaths like Zbigniew Brzezinski and assorted arms merchants and CIA heroin traffickers and many other slithering leaches and opportunists. There’s plenty of gaping maws in this Moloch’s feast to go around.

What I would hope for is for Putin to relax his anti-fascist rhetoric that gets all the former satellite states like Ukraine and Poland and the Baltic states riled up and trembling at the Russian bear. Thereby priming them to want to run to big daddy NATO for succor. Militaristic Russian nationalism on steroids may assuage the urge for nationalistic chest beating of the working class Russian male, but at what price?

Russia, IMHO needs more and better reconciliation between Russia and those people who suffered under the Soviet Union. This seems to have happened in places like Hungary, but is a big problem in the Baltic states because of the large number of ethnic Russians who’re still there and are having a hard time assimilating. Putin just needs to be an even more impressive statesman than he’s already being. Relax the rhetoric. Tone down the Victory Day Parades. Allow the people to tear down the hated statues of Lenin and the hated Red Soldier (rapist) Stop denigrating the Baltic grandfathers who heroically fought against Bolshevism. It only pushes your neighbors into the fetid hands of Zio-NATO-Rothschild/Fed. Like what’s been done in Kiev. By making nice with Eastern Europe, you remove potential enemies who’re tools and fools of the western bankers / Fed and ECB who always want to give those governments loans (to enslave them and their people to debt.)

Those are some of my disjointed thoughts anyways. I’m rambling.. ; )

Your last two paragraphs are a marvel of insight; and how I wish the Russians would read them and pay attention. The Russians are brilliant at many things, but PR isn’t one of them. Happily that nation is slowly recovering from a nearly century-old occupation by an anti-Russian regime (aka the Bolsheviks, many of whom had a higher allegiance to Something Else) so I too would hope that they will eventually tone down the victory parades, etc.

That Russia has an important historical part to play is getting more obvious by the day and many of us hope that the barnacles of the Soviet mentality will begin falling away faster than they are now.

I suspect that seven out of ten Germans would vote for Putin as chancellor or Germany

if Germany and Europe need protection, it’s from the EU Marxists and NATO thugs occupying their country and the global central banks who’re foisting a Muslim invasion on Europe (and especially Germany) today

the biggest gripe of most Germans is the nuclear weapons that the US is brandishing at Russia from their country. And the Turks and Albanians and Kurds and others who’re amassing and taking over their formerly German cities and towns. None of this is being done by Putin’s Russia. All of it is being done by the western powers who have occupied Germany since the end of the war. The US’s guarantees of security for Germany are like a rapist telling his victim that he’s going to wear a condom

  28. Carly Fiorina led the baying pack “…and I might also put in a few more thousand troops into Germany,”

she talks about Germany like it’s another US state, like Nebraska

what about the Germans, (or Polish or governments and citizens of the Baltic states from where you’d “conduct very aggressive military exercises”? Do they have any say?

Do the Germans have any say?

According to Benjamin Netanyahu, Germans have as much say as do Palestinians:

    http://www.thestar.com/news/world/2015/11/11/netanyahu-says-palestinian-acceptance-of-israeli-security-control-key-to-two-state-deal.html

WASHINGTON—Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that the “real test” of a two-state solution is Palestinians, Arabs and the world accepting Israeli security control over areas ceded in a peace deal.
Netanyahu, who later met with members of Congress, said Israel must be able to defend itself, by itself.
This includes threats from any territory Israel relinquishes, including hundreds of kilometres of borders subject to potential tunneling.
Palestinians oppose this demand because they see it as blocking a “fully sovereign” Palestinian state, the Israeli leader said at the Center for American Progress think-tank in Washington.
But he cited South Korea and World War II losers Germany and Japan as countries that prospered under foreign security control.

Bibi understands what the WWII Holocaust of Germany was all about, and he understands because his father was part of it; namely, that zionist Jews (as well as Anglo elites) were instrumental in bringing about the war against Germany that presaged its destruction with the goal of virtually colonizing Germany (and Japan) for the benefit of the USA.

The prosperity that the USA enjoyed post-war, and the geopolitical dominance, came at the expense of the most vicious and deliberate campaign of destruction the world has ever known.

Jeffrey Engel has studied George H W Bush’s decision-making process when he invaded Iraq to “liberate” Kuwait. The liberation of Kuwait was as authentic a reason as were the incubator babies; Engel said that G H W Bush invaded Iraq “to redeem the promise to those who fought in WWII, to make a better world.”

The Bush family fortunes surely did become better — Prescott Bush, like so many other American (and Jewish) bankers, businessmen and corporations were invested in both sides of the conflict.

In the Conference that Giraldi references, LeonHadar spoke on the “elites” who decide issues of restraint vs war. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9w2kbmdH90 He asserted that “knowledge is not a guarantor of good decision making: the German people were the most intellectually developed people in the world, and they elected Hitler.”

I think Hadar’s analysis is skewed, distorted by Hitler Derangement Syndrome (HDS © ): After a generation of “intellectuals” — many of them Jewish, as this paper produced by Yad Vashem states http://www.yadvashem.org/odot_pdf/Microsoft%20Word%20-%207794.pdf — completely FUBARed Germany, Hitler and the National Socialists took charge, gained the support of the population, re-instilled a sense of virtu in the people, delivered on promises of economic reform and employment, “quelled violence against Jews,” carried out several successful, non-violent diplomatic negotiations to right what the German people considered wrongs done to their national sovereignty at Versailles, and earned membership in the League of Nations.

It was precisely because Hitler and NSDAP were successful in using their intellectual and volkish capital, rather than patronize US and British financial capitalists and submit to a category that Theodor Herzl earlier called “mediocre intellects” — effete, debauched and cockamamie Frankfurt, Straussian, Marxist and infiltrating Bolshevik ideologues — that Germany had to be destroyed:Germania delenda est..

The particular parasite that attacked Germany aims always for the most developed and advanced of juicy morsels, and as Hadar stated, in 1933 – 1939, Germany fit that metric.

When Netanyahu says “Iran is Germany,” what he really means is that Iran is the most developed polity with the most highly-developed intellectual force in the region — most capable of competing and vanquishing anything that Israel can beg, borrow, steal., or produce of its own effort — (Luke 16:3 vs. Deut. 6:10). Like Germany under NSDAP, Iran has demonstrated the ability to conduct its own affairs without submitting to Anglo-zionist central banking and foreign security control; for these reasons, just as in Germany, Iran delenda est.

Neither Putin nor Russian military “wants” to get bogged down in Syria or anywhere else.
The Syrian Arab Army will defeat the ISIS, if NATO and its criminal Islamist so-called ‘ally’ Turkey, and the rest of the Neocon puppets, stop aiding and abetting the throat-cutting cannibals.

With the very little help SAA has been getting from Russia’s bombers past month or so, they have started making good progress. They just liberated Kuweyres air base in northern Syria: a huge victory for the SAA after 2.5 year long siege of the airbase.
It was Syrian troops who held out 2.5 years, completely surrounded.
    Not Russian troops.

If not for the legitimate presence of Russia in Syria, NATO lackey terrorist-supporting Turks would have already invaded Syria to establish so-called illegal “safe zones” (aka the usual Turk land-theft), and NATO would have established illegal “no fly zones” in Syrian airspace – to deny SAA air-cover from what little air force they have.

For about 4 years Syria has been putting up a stiff resistance against an estimated 100K Islamist terrorists in Syria. Terrorists who are being mended and treated in Turkish hospitals. Terrorists who are supported by NATO.

Russians have no need to get bogged down, because Syrians themselves are fighting to rid their country of the Neocon-birthed terrorist infestation.

Jewish power is centered in US and EU.

What Jews fear most about Putin and Russia is what they stand for: traditionalism, moral majority, nationalism, racial pride, lack of collective guilt, heritage, and unity.

Of course, Russia is ruled by corrupt oligarchs and your average Russian is a drunken lazy fool, but the themes of Russia are solid conservative nationalist stuff. And if Russia has any future, it will have to rely on and build on those themes.

Jews want to weaken Russia with homo decadence, minority-centrism, historical shame, open borders with darkies outside Russia, Jewish control of all media, feminism that tells Russian women to hate Russian men, and etc.

Now, if Russia were some exotic non-white nation, Jews wouldn’t care much.
After all, US is close to Saudi Arabia that is very reactionary and even theocratic, but Jews don’t mind and don’t feel threatened by the Saudi model. Jews don’t believe Saudis could ever have any influence on the West. White folks in US and EU see Saudis as camel jockeys, raggers, sand bunnies, and goat-humpers.

But Russia is a white nation, and Russia is a part of Europe. When Russia was Tsarist, it was seen by Europeans as part of Oriental Despotism. When Russia was communist, it was seen as totalitarian and repressive(even though there were powerful commie parties in the West). Today, Russia is hardly democratic but it’s reasonably free and liberal(in the classic term).

The thing is Russia has national sovereignty, doesn’t take shit from the US, has its own military, has control of its own press and media, and feels no collective historical guilt or shame about anything. Russians don’t feel they must cuck themselves out to be ‘good people’. Russians can also take pride over Jews cuz Russians did most to defeat Nazism.

There is another way in which Russian-ism could be more appealing to Europeans than Jewish-American PC-ism is.
Russians are willing to bury the hatchet. Long ago, Napoleon wreaked havoc on Russia and that led to the deaths of millions of Russians of war and starvation. But Russians let bygones be bygones and want to be friends with France.
In the 20th century, Russia lost a bloody war to Germany in WWI and even though it won WWII, it suffered tremendous damage and loss. Even as Russians commemorate WWII every year, they don’t play on German guilt. They are willing to bury the hatchet and wanna be friends with Germans.

So, this Russian spirit of forgiveness and moving forward could be very appealing to Europeans.

In contrast, vicious Jews demand that ALL EUROPEANS get down on their knees and apologize forever for the Holocaust. Not just Germans but all those European nations with populations that collaborated. And even Swedes for having remained ‘neutral’.

Also, darkies from Africa and Arabia come to Europe and say “gimme gimme gimme, suck my dick, fuc* you white man, you owe us for 400 yrs of imperialism, blah blah blah.” All this moral abuse was sort of appealing to Euro-masochism. Europeans take pride in ‘white guilt’, and they got into the habit of showing off about how much they care about Jews, Negroes, homos, Muslims, and etc.

But there are Europeans who are wearing thin in patience with all this Jewish nastiness, homo fruitishness, Negro jivery, and Muslim nuttery.
They look at Russia and they see a proud nation. They notice that Russians don’t play on European guilt even though Russia had suffered greatly from French invasion and German invasion in the past. Russians just wanna give a bear hug and be good friends with Europe. Jews fear this. Jews want the European soul to be leashed to the Jewish master than hugged by the Russian bear. Jews wanna own the European soul like Eugene Landy the venal Jew wanted to control every facet of Brian Wilson’s life.

Jews see Putin as the blonde-haired lady, Melinda, in the movie. Jews fear Donald Trump may be having the same effect. Victoria Nuland and Neocons are the Eugene Landy of American Politics.

This is why Jews fear Russia. And so, Jews use their puppet cuck politicians to keep bashing Russia as the Big Nasty Bear of the New Cold War.

And Americans are dumb enough for fall for this crap.

Is there any other group of people on our Earth that can be so dishonest? Old Mufti N is lying on so many levels.

First his Zionists along with Saudi Wahhabists support ISIS in their terrorism – Paris was a victory for Zionism and Wahhabists. The un-moderns, the old world tribal perpetrators of fear and chaos were victorious.

Next, ISIS et all, justify their terrorism on the evil Israel is doing to the Palestinians. ISIS uses Israel’s actions as justification for its own evil.

Finally it is the Israeli Zionists who for 65 years have terrorized the Palestinian people and destabilized all their neighbors.

Yet with all that truth – Netanyahu and the Jew still have the balls to get in our face and cry victim. They over and over attempt to humiliate the world.

Shame on the Jew for all the ME evil. Creating Israel was a monumental mistake. The road to hell is truly paved with good intentions. The Jew are proven unworthy of any empathy.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/france/11999553/Hollande-calls-on-Russia-and-US-to-unite-to-defeat-Isil.html

Hollande coming to his senses, but the problem is Jews don’t want it.

    Imagine US without Jewish power.

Most Americans would say, “Cold War is over, and we are now friends with Russians, and we respect them, and they respect us.”

No problem. Russians and white Americans working together in spirit of mutual respect.

So, why is there still a Cold War mentality? Jews fear white gentiles getting chummy with white gentiles, especially with those in Russia who aren’t into ‘white guilt’.

Jews fear Russians like they fear white southern neo-confederates.
Confederacy is about white southerners having their own victim narrative against race traitor Yankees. Jews can’t have that.
With white southerners, Jews have one moral advantage. White southerners fought for slavery.
But it is tougher to guilt-bait Russians since Russia defeated Nazi Germany.
Russia is guilty of communism, but Jews played a very big part in it, so Jews don’t wanna go too far with that stuff, not least because many US Jews served as spies for Stalin.

We must separate the masters from the dogs in this equation.

True, Christie, Carson, Bush, Rubio, and etc are all trash-talking about Russia, but it’s not genuine. They are just barking to win approval of their masters.

If Neocon masters were to tell them, “go easy on Russia”, they would stop barking.

So, the only equation that matters here is that JEWS HATE RUSSIA. That is why their dogs bark at Russia.

Does anyone really think Carson the yammering Negro slurping on grits and munching on cornbread really loses sleep over Russia? No, he’s playing to Jewish donors and media.

    Why should you be confused?

So-called shitbag goddess is a neo-nazi freak. Her sort likes to bash all Jews and even celebrate neo-Nazi crap.
The thing is a sane person can revile evil Jewishness without dehumanizing all Jews.
It’s like we can condemn Hitler and Nazism while also admiring German history and culture.

Of late, Jewish Power has gotten as crazy as German power under Hitler. It must be countered. People like Nuland are pure evil. They are dangerous cuz, like Hitler, they think they own history.

As for Putin and the Jews, it’s very complicated. Putin doesn’t have any personal animus against Jews, but he must be aware that World Jewry sees him and his vision of Russia as a threat. He’s good to Jews and friendly to Israel, but Jews still hate him because his themes indirectly threaten the foundations of Jewish power.

Jews push minority-supremacism, but Russians won’t bend over to the minoritarian homo agenda.
Jews push ‘white guilt’, but Russians won’t bite.
Jews push Jewish control of media, but much of Russian media is state-controlled. It’s not free press but relatively less influenced by World Jewry than US and EU media.
Jews see traditional Christianity as a counter-force against amnesia-inducing pop culture controlled by Hollywood. Russia has brought back some of that.

I think Putin is smart enough to know what is up. He must know that Jews are worshiped in US and EU. If Russia goes anti-Jewish, that will be enough for a full-blown Cold War as Europeans worship the Holocaust and white Americans revere Jews(and even homos) more than Jesus and their own race.

So, Putin has to be nice to Jews. And there are still many powerful Jewish oligarchs in Russia, and Putin needs their support. And Russia needs Jewish talent in high-tech and stuff cuz your average Russian is a lazy drunken fool who drinks vodka like water.

But Putin also remembers the 90s. He knows that Jews want to own Russia like they own US and EU. Putin knows of the globo-Jewish network from NY to London to Paris to Moscow.

He is playing gangster politics in a world full of gangsters.

Putin has to embrace Jews directly but fight them indirectly. He doesn’t say NO to Jews, but he must say NO to agendas pushed by Jews. These agendas, though ostensibly not Jewish, are funded, controlled, and designed by Jews to soften gentile resistance against Jewish power. So, Jewish-funded NGO’s in Russia have been promoting stuff like Pussy Riot to corrupt Russian women into a bunch of dumb cunts taking orders from America.

In the US, Jews gained so much power not only by struggling for Jewish power but by promoting the kinds of issues, agendas, and movements that would weaken the white majority standing in the way of total Jewish power. This is why Jews pushed the homo agenda. This is why Jews fund BLM. It is to guilt-bait whites and to keep blacks on the side of Jews(who supposedly don’t have ‘white privilege’; in the Jewish imagination, some peckerwood brewing up moonshine in West Virginia has more privilege than a Jew in Wall Street, Las Vegas, or Hollywood).

But don’t expect a neo-nazi dirtbag like shitbag goddess to understand any of this.

I believe Viktor Suvorov – if Russia ever decides to go nuclear it will be an all-out surprise attack with everything available. Global nuclear armageddon. Russia does not believe in gradual escalation scenarios – they know they lose. They certainly don’t want armageddon, but if they see armageddon coming they will choose the scenario that gives them a chance to ‘win’.

The reason he asserted it is because he has no idea about a profound difference between knowledge and information, which are not the same. It is like this thread, very many “intellectually developed” people, very few knowledgeable ones. I would rather trust my life to IQ=95 average pilot of the private plane than to some very “developed” intellectual who never flew one. If you get my drift.

I nominate John Lenczowski for neoconish warhawk and Kori Schake for bleeding-heart R2P neoliberal hawk with added Girl Scout medals for simpering silliness — “people just yearn to be free and we must help them.” blech. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClgmGBtLrG8 (In his remarks, Fr. Thomas Zain, vicar general, Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese, said “We don’t want anyone’s protection, we want peace.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLRBO93S9w4 )

Fortunately, or optimistically, for those who make hopeful lists of the “good guys” who will form the vanguard of change to a restrained, rational foreign policy, William Ruger, vice president, The Charles Koch Institute, who spoke on the same panel as Lenczowski and Schake, has a well-grounded, fine and quick intellect, as does Emma Ashford, recent PhD from University of Virginia, who provided insight into the role of “allies” in decision making https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9w2kbmdH90 . Ashford noted that while the role of allies is usually assumed to be to aid and coordinate with the senior partner, in the US foreign policy establishment, US leaders exist to serve the allies. She cited numerous instances of Ashton Carter speaking and traveling to “assure our allies” that the US would serve their needs, but no examples of US making even minimal demands on allies.

  71. “Certainly the GOP candidates are flirting with entertaining that possibility, even if they are not completely aware of what they are implying.”

Looks like in this case they were first and foremost flirting with their audience / electorate.

Two key phrases: “Every day brings news of a new humiliation for America” (Rubio) and “I will not speak to Putin from a position of weakness” (Fiorina).

Things like “humiliation”, “weakness”, “tragedy” (J.Bush) come from lamentation over a decreasing status. Something that Russia had to deal with too, by the way, and under much tougher circumstances (e.g. “geopolitical catastrophe” and all that it entails). These candidates are just ensuring their audiences that they’re going to “deal with” this, what Republican hawks certainly consider, a calamity, unlike Obama and Hillary.

Speaking of her, a rhetorical question – Is the US really going to be less threatening and a better friend to Russia under Hillary who at one point supported the anti-Putin protests and will undoubtedly do so again, if such protests happen again, along with promoting global LGBT “rights”, etc? What will she do to subdue the “new Cold war”? And will Russia stop viewing the US as its biggest external enemy, no matter who gets elected as president (judging from Russian talk shows, both the media and the public already think they’re being invaded by the US any day now)…? Really, Russia would only be somewhat happy if Rand Paul got elected.

  72. Which is funny because if an isolationist like Rand Paul stood up in Russia and started talking about being “fiscally conservative” with regards to the military spending, he’s be booed out and called a traitor and “the fifth column” by many Russians.

  73. The hatred of Russia has nothing to do with Syria or other interference with Israel’s goals in the Middle East. In case you guys forgot, Putin has been a villain since day one, whereas his interventions in the Middle East are quite recent.

Russia is hated because it has escaped Jewish domination, pure and simple. The Jews cannot abide a single white country that is not in complete submission to their every whim and fancy. They feel a particular sense of ownership over the Slavic peoples, whom they consider their literal slaves and whom they have exploited for centuries with a crescendo of absolute control resulting in a reign of barbaric, inhuman terror reached during the Bolshevik takeover.

After the collapse of the USSR they again immediately swooped in and seized control of Russia, installing the pathetic drunk Yeltsin as their suck-puppet while they went about the business of looting and pauperizing the country nearly to the point of mass famine (if that doesn’t remind you of a historical parallel, look up the Holodomor). Putin was hand picked by these bandits to resume puppet duties upon Yeltsin’s much overdue demise, but instead turned the tables on the rabid exploiters and accomplished the unthinkable: transformed Russia from the greatest Whore of the globalist Jews to the only white nation with its destiny in its own hands. This is the reason Russia is endlessly hounded by the rabid dogs, and there is nothing the Russians can do about it aside from taking the knee and submitting to chattel slavery once again.

There is nothing Slavic or personal about it. This oligarchy (Spectre) controls most countries that matter, so why they not control Russia too? Why would Russia be allowed to be an exception?

but no more demonic than black ops sex-trafficking little boys to Afghan warlords to win their support in the fight against the Taliban.

not just to Afghan warlords but to especially the British (and US, Hollywood for instance) aristocracy, which seems to have a congenital predilection for little boys

when they mop up those villages in Syria, there are specially trained units that go in (that I’ve read from obscure sources that have no reason to fabricate it, but you can Google it) looking for children, whose fate, after suffering the shock of their bombed villages and murdered families, will be so horrific that even their worst nightmares could not have prepared them for it

it isn’t just Zionists and arms manufacturers who demand these wars for fun and profit

The British aristocracy go through these children very quickly because they get used up quick. Once they become empty-eyed and catatonic, they’re of little use anymore and are disposed of. The whole point is for these children to have their innocence and vulnerability intact. That is the very thing these types feed off of. The flesh is secondary, it’s the child’s innocent soul that is consumed by these elite pedophiles who feel their vaunted selves entitled to their appetites

I don’t know why so many of them are from the British elite. I suspect a lot of them are selected for their proclivities by the PTB because of their blackmail-ability. Guys like Dennis Hastert for instance, who must have pissed someone off.

Also, on the subject, I remember reading something years back by Steve Sailer on one of the reasons the Taliban was welcomed into villages in Afghanistan was because of the penchant for pederasty among so many these local Afghan ‘warlords’, and how the used up boys were considered lost to their families afterwards. I’ve tried to find it since, but can’t. Anyways it was an eye opener. Sailer would be the perfect person to analyze why this phenomena seems to afflict Afghans or the British elites in such high percentages, I would think.

Tone down the Victory Day Parades. thank you schmenz,

Happily that nation is slowly recovering from a nearly century-old occupation by an anti-Russian regime (aka the Bolsheviks, many of whom had a higher allegiance to Something Else)

yes, it seems that with the slaughter of the beautiful Romanov family

by those fiends in that basement, that human life in the last century took its pivotal turn to the worst

    and then that war

it is because of that war and the unimaginable brutality that was visited upon Russia and Europe, that the Russian people (and Germans and Polish and Ukrainian and so many others) are still traumatized. But the tragic thing is that the Slavic peoples of Russia and Poland and Serbia and elsewhere can’t see past their (understandable) hatred of the Germans. The Nazis were so over-the-top arrogant, that the Slavic people have it burned into their memory the atrocities that they suffered. And also their heroic victory that gives them so much pride today.

What they refuse to accept is that were it not for the murderous and genocidal Bolsheviks, there never would have been any Nazis to begin with. It was in response to the very real threat of the Bolsheviks that the Nazis came into existence and into power to check.

no Bolshevik commie genocidal insanity = no Nazis to put them in check

even at the time millions of ethnic Russians and Cossacks and Ukrainians and others donned the despised uniform of the Wehrmacht in order to defeat the even more dire fiend that was the Bolsheviks. In one of humanities and the West’s in particular’s more egregious sins against human decency, these men were “keelhauled” at Yalta after the war.

And commie slavery and genocide was imposed on Russia and Eastern Europe for generations. It wasn’t until Putin came riding on that proverbial white horse that Russia was finally freed from the grip of the Beast. But the narrative and the ubiquitous paradigm that the Russians and Slavic peoples in general have marinated in all that time was that it was their heroic ancestors that defeated the evil German fascists and freed and saved them all (to be enslaved by Jewish communists)

If it were possible to break that spell over the Russian and Slavic peoples that has them singing the praises of Stalin’s genocidal reign who put their grandfathers in the gulags and murdered their ancestors in the Katyn forest

and on the fertile land of the Ukraine and allow them to forgive the German people who also suffered terribly during (and especially after) that war, it would go a long way to saving us all from seeing it all happen all over again. Because it is the exact same people (actually their blood descendants) who are pushing the world towards yet another fratricidal world war, and for the same reasons. A genocidal hatred of the Christian world and its people. Russian, German, Slavic, Scandinavian, Mediterranean and everybody else.

We were all their chumps in the last century, especially the Americans and allies and Russians. Let’s not do it again eh?

Hey Pols, it wasn’t Russians that murdered your best at the Katyn forest. It was the NKVD, and they weren’t Russians. So stop blaming Russia and Russians! And if your arrogant leaders had allowed the corridor, that war might never have happened!

although I appreciate your perspectives and historical analysis, I don’t agree with this part

Napoleon was long enough ago that France is forgiven, but not Hitler or Germany. No eff’n way.

the day the Russians (and Slavics) forgive Germany will be the day the Russians and Pols open up the archives to prove the Holocaust was exaggerated as a pretext to justify the horrors that were visited upon the German people after the war was over. That’s when all those homes and farms and land that belonged to German civilians who were ethnically cleansed and died by the millions in starvation death marches into the wasteland after the war will either be returned or compensated for.

Me too. Not happy, but happier.

  89. Rurik says:

    at times grossly over-simplified,

well, I did just fit 19th century Herzl Zionism and the Jewish anti-Czarism and the Russian Jewish pogroms leading to Jewish immigration into Germany and the subsequent reasons for and folly of WWI that led to WWII and the cynical way WWII was manipulated by Stalin as an ethic Russian nationalistic war against Germany and Germany’s perceived aggressions in trying to crush genocidal communism at its source and the treachery of Churchill and FDR of dragging their countries into that war and the consequences and lingering hostilities and dangers that face us all as a consequence of it all.

That is not something that is fit into a few paragraphs without a little over-simplification. ; )

For example, just what Poles do you imagine pine for Stalin?

The Poles [ty] don’t pine for Stalin. Not even too many Russians do. But what they do do, is simmer with visceral resentment for the Germans who marched into their country with talk of untermenschen. Sure, it was the Bolsheviks who slaughtered the Polish elites at Katyn and other places, and held them in genocidal slavery for generations after the war was over. Yes to all of that. But to the proud and resentful Poles, that was done in the most part by other Slavs, and they see other Slavs as victims of Nazi aggression too. And that is how the whole war was spun after the commies won. It was all Nazi aggression and the heroic victory and a workers paradise. And so that narrative stuck, just like in the West where the whole war was about Nazi gas chambers and pushing little Jewish girls into ovens. So no, they don’t love Stalin in Poland, but they do consider themselves Slavs and are virulently (and understandably) proud of it. And they’ve had it hammered into their heads that the war was all Hitler’s and Germany fault and that all the land and farms and houses and businesses that they’re in possession of due to the mass-expulsions of innocent Germans from their homes and land after the war, should stay in their possession, just like they demanded to keep Dazing and prevent a corridor and that greedy folly was the match that lit the flames of WWII.

you see, I’m quite adept at over-simplification.

But my premise is that the West and Russia are being ramrodded into more contrived strife by using the same fault lines that linger because of that terrible war. The Tsar and Tsarina were ethnic Russian and German respectively. There is no earthly reason why Russia and Germany and indeed, the whole of Europe and the West (and all the rest!) are not on friendly terms. The strife between them is orchestrated. Any fool can see that. And we all can see who is doing it. My point is that we should all repudiate those forces and saner heads should prevail. This century could unfold like the last one, with all the horrors and mindless slaughter that we’ve come to see as contrived and unnecessary and foisted for the fun and profit of a few. Lets not let them do to us what they did to us. Lets make sure the people of Ukraine understand who they are getting in bed with. Same with the rest of Europe. Do they really want regimes that are vassals to a US government that considers their countries as future battle grounds with a nuclear Russia? !

Those are some of the points I would like to make. I apologize if my rhetoric and eloquence is grossly lacking. I can assure you my intention is straight forward. I want to only spread and seek the truth, insofar as I’m able. I am convinced that if enough people are aware of the truth and seek if for themselves, that we just might possibly be able to prevent another apocalyptic catastrophe due to the infinite hubris and megalomaniacal vanity of a very few- who won’t so much as get a scratch, while already in this nascent century millions of innocent people have already died in Iraq and Afghanistan and Libya and Syria and Ukraine and Pakistan and many other places while American poor young men come home and snuff it when they realize what they’ve been forced to do- due to the schemes and treachery of war criminals and mass-murderers in our government and Tel Aviv and London and elsewhere. It’s us against them.

Hey Rurik, I see you have touched upon some of the reasons why Russia WILL NOT “relax the anti-fascist rhetoric, Tone down the Victory Day Parades. Allow the people to tear down the hated statues of Lenin and the hated Red Soldier (rapist) and Stop denigrating the Baltic grandfathers who heroically fought against Bolshevism, etc.”

It boils down to the Russian National Myth of the so called ‘Great Patriotic War’ and its usefulness to the Russian government today. It’s too good a story to let go.
Visit some Russian blogs and you will see for yourself. Some are quite hysterical about it.
A good example are the Sakers writings(and those of contributors) re WWII at his blog, even though, from what i understand, he is an ethnic russian born in some european country and living in Florida and not a Stalinist.

WWII “history”, whether the anglo-american version or the Soviet/Russian flavor of it, is pure bunk. A bunch of self-serving lies by the victors.
Anybody with half a brain understands that history is written by the victors and invariably to their own advantage.
Basically “He who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past.”― George Orwell, 1984

All Allied countries and particularly the US and the USSR, plus the anti-German war party in Britain, the warmongers led by war criminal Churchill( and to a less extent the French and useful idiot Poland) bear a lot of responsability, most of it, for the war.

But decades of massive propaganda do wonders, whether one is born in Russia or Zamerica!!

As for the “great Patriotic War”, well, it’s a convenient National Myth that is used to unite Russians. I can understand that, all the victors do the same, using “history” as a tool to advance their agendas, but that doesn’t change the fact that the great Patriotic War narrative is a false one.
Also, there’s been no lack of Western dupes and fellow travellers parroting Soviet propaganda.

The narrative of the so called “Great patriotic War” serves as a building block for the new Russian Federation, a national myth – many countries have them – necessary to rally the Russian people around their country, identity, flag.

Russia emerged weak after the break up of the Soviet Empire. It was brutally plundered by the Zio-american empire and those special interests which rule it. The country was deeply infiltrated by a 5th column, as some Russians refer to them, interested in parking the Russian Federation into the Zio-american empire.

Failing that, the neocons and other hawks want to encircle and break up the RF.

Thus, the great patriotic war mythology forms a cornerstone of Russian nationalism today, at a time when Russians need to ‘rally round the flag’ and resist the very real zio-american machinations against Putin and a sovereign Russia.

‘The great patriotic war’ casts the Russian people( as the heirs of Soviet Russia) in the role of “heroic liberators of Europe”, providing them with an exaggerated, distorted and self-righteous portrait as heroes and main resisters against the evils of ‘Fascism’ during WWII.
After all, so the propaganda line goes, they “saved the world” from the clutches of the “evil Natzee” cannibals, who were “attempting to exterminate” the “inferior races” and take over the world. Amazingly, many Russians i’ve talked to seem unable( or unwilling ) to understand the basic fact that the Red Army did not ‘liberate’ anybody, it conquered.

Strip the mythology surrounding the ‘great patriotic war’, and what do they end up with? The facts. But the facts just don’t make for good national mythology.
This is the reason behind Russia’s new legislation against ‘revising’ WWII history. No, I’m not talking about the holohoax, but about the war itself. Just as with the holocau$t, truth need not be shielded from scrutiny.
Also most Soviet archives of the era remain closed. Why?
Because the official BS-narrative of the Soviet-German war does not have a leg to stand on.

The first to realize that(after the war) were the Russians themselves.
    As D.W.Michaels wrote:
One of the earliest Russian revisionists of World War II history was Pyotr Grigorenko, a Soviet Army Major General and highly decorated war veteran who taught at the Frunze Military Academy.[…]he was the first leading Soviet figure to advance the revisionist arguments, which became well known during the 1980s and 1990s, on Stalin’s preparations for aggressive war against Germany. In an article submitted to a major Soviet journal (but rejected, and later published abroad), Grigorenko pointed out that Soviet military forces vastly outnumbered German forces in 1941. Just prior to the German attack on June 22, 1941, more than half of the Soviet forces were in the area near and west of Bialystok, that is, in an area deep in Polish occupied territory. “This deployment could only be justified” wrote Grigorenko, “if these troops were deploying for a surprise offensive. In the event of an enemy attack these troops would soon be encircled.”

Since the 90s, with the partial opening of Soviet archives(closed again), many Russian historians have refined the evidence for Stalin’s agressive aims. Though with the new repressive legislation i imagine such research is going to die out.
An incomplete list of such Russian historians/researchers:
Former Soviet intel officer ,Vladimir Bogdanovich Resun(Viktor Suvorow), Russian historian Dr. Mikhail Meltiukhov, V. A. Nevezhin, Colonel V. D. Danilov, Igor Bunich, Irina. V. Pavlova, V. L. Doroshenko, M.Solonin, Constantine Pleshakov, Dr.Alexander Pronin, Prof. Dr. Maria Litowskaja, Colonel Kiselev, Dr. Dschangir Nadschafow, faculty director of the Institute of General History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, etc.

Since the 1990s, many Western historians have reached similar conclusions. Americans such as Albert Weeks, Richard Raack, John Mosier, R.H.S. Stolfi. German and Austrian historians such as Dr.Joachim Hoffmann, Ernst Topitsch, Ernst Nolte, Dr.Werner Maser, Lothar Rühl, Fritz Becker, Dr.Walter Post, Dr.Max Klüver, Wolfgang Strauss, Heinz Magenheimer, French Stéphane Courtois, François Furet, etc.

Well, Poland (as a political entity, sans myself and many others) may like her role of the frontier Indians used to fight the other Indians (i.e. Russians), to the benefit of the later White Masters of the Whole Continent. Alas, I read here, that the PC (Per Capita) income in Russia is NOW ahead of that in Poland. And this happened without the “democracy” and EU subsidies, and Russia expelled the benevolent, for sure, NGOs. Which were distributing good money to foster “democracy”, beyond the point of women driving cars.

It boils down to the Russian National Myth of the so called ‘Great Patriotic War’ and its usefulness to the Russian government today. It’s too good a story to let go.
Visit some Russian blogs and you will see for yourself. Some are quite hysterical about it.

oh yes, L.K., I have visited Russian blogs and I’ve seen the mindset. I’ve glimpsed and glimmered some of that Russian male gallantry. Stuff like ‘when we got done with (raping) the German women we left so many Russian babies that blah, blah, blah. It reminded me that Russians too can see themselves as exceptional. And at times, just like the Americans, can indeed be exceptional. One thing about the Japanese is I can’t imagine any of them bragging about their grandfathers raping Korean girls. I think they ‘remember it’ with shame. As they should. But I’ve actually read Russian (untermenchen) men bragging about this. As with America’s trailer parks and football stadiums with their ‘USA, USA!” chants as ‘shock and awe’ was raining down, Russian (and Poland too!) have their share of exceptionally stupid and boorish people

As for the narrative, you’re absolutely right. It is useful for Putin today just as it was useful for Stalin back in the day- as the Russian people’s churches were being burned down and their heritage and culture denigrated and their intellectuals gulaged, to change course and start telling the Russian people that the conflict between Nazism and communism was a nationalistic conflict against Mother Russia! and not what it actually was; an ideological struggle for the soul and fate of what would end up being millions upon millions of gulaged and machine-gunned and tortured to death Russians and East Europeans. Like England, the Russians “won” that war- and had commie genocide and slavery imposed for generations.

But when you’re talking about people’s vaunted sense of pride and vanity.. they’re exceptionalism- you’re talking about something very basic to the human psyche. It’s why liberals, for instance, can never see the folly of some of their cherished delusions of equalism. It’s why the religious can not allow doubt to creep into their belief system. And it’s why the American people can not see that these aggressive wars of choice that we’re engaged in (for the fun and profit of a very few) are catastrophic and criminal and we can’t afford them, either monetarily or (especially) morally.

So yea, that’s how I see it. The Russians of yesterday under the thrall of Soviet propaganda and fear of the secret police are just like the Americans today. Just like Churchill said, they were gripped by the hair of their heads and led around like dogs by undisputed masters. And the irony is that they were just as dominated back then as we are today, and by the same tribe. But their pride will never allow them to accept this simple and obvious fact. Any more than the average American can accept that 911 was an inside job and all of these wars and all the dead and maimed American soldiers have given their lives to benefit their worst enemies. Psychologically it’s impossible for them to accept any narrative that’s inconvenient to their self-esteem.

A good example are the Sakers writings(and those of contributors) re WWII at his blog, even though, from what i understand, he is an ethnic russian born in some european country and living in Florida and not a Stalinist.

I haven’t noticed any of that yet. All I know about the Saker is his (very interesting) articles here at the Unz Review on Russia and Syria.

WWII “history”, whether the anglo-american version or the Soviet/Russian flavor of it, is pure bunk. A bunch of self-serving lies by the victors.

    could not agree more

All Allied countries and particularly the US and the USSR, plus the anti-German war party in Britain, the warmongers led by war criminal Churchill( and to a less extent the French and useful idiot Poland) bear a lot of responsability, most of it, for the war.

Oh boy, I don’t think you want me to get started with who was responsible for that war. I guess I’ll leave it at ‘just look at today’s wars, and the usual scheming fiends pushing them and all the disgusting opportunists and lying politicians and legions upon legions of useful idiots. **sigh**

But decades of massive propaganda do wonders, whether one is born in Russia or Zamerica!!

What is the US role in creating the ongoing alien invasion of Europe? Perhaps, IF Iraq, Syria, and Libya had stronger defenses against the US, the European Union would not become the eye of the storm: the refugee crisis and ISIS’ infiltration. The Yinon Plan has been implemented with the happy cheering fromIsraeli-firsters and Israelis, the supposed main beneficiaries of the Yinon Plan. Well. The “minor” side effects of braking up the previously functioning states of Iraq, Syria, and Libya are the hills of garbage in Europe, the dead children within Iraq, Syria, and Libya and on the shores of European countries, the swarms of economic migrants from sub-Saharan Africa, and – the greatest gift of all – the ISIS or the army of avengers. The fighters of ISIS have been coming en masse to Europe notwithstanding the very expensive US’ armaments there.
Where are the US’ guarantee of security against the monster of ISIS created by the US/EU/UK/Israel alliance?

Some interesting points here. But the German “Lebensraum” plan that entailed stealing eastern Europe and killing off the indigenous Slavic people was already festering prior Versailles. Not that the latter would justify the former under any time line. As regards your comparison, Iran has no such murderous designs. But Israel does! In fact, when it comes to ethno-centric criminal behavior, a Nazi/Zionist comparison yields more than a few “philosophical” similarities. The Germans, to their credit, have reformed themselves.

Um, there are no Poles praising Stalin. And then this one:

“And if your (Poland’s) arrogant leaders had allowed the corridor, that war might never have happened!”

The idea that Poland ceding Danzig or any other amount of her territory would have prevented
WWII is absurd. It’s the kind of claptrap spewed by blow-hard pseudo-historians like Pat Buchanan. To ascribe to it you have to pretend that you never heard of “lebensraum”, the criminal german plan to steal eastern european lands and murder the indigenous people. The
lebensraum idea goes back well before the onset of WWII, even prior to
the german mass murder/suicide trip that was the third reich. In fact,
germany was infected with that madness prior to WWI. And although
idiot commentators can and do deny facts, germany’s murderous expansion
plans were no secret to her neighbors. The Poles knew full well that
WWII was inevitable and they played their cards bravely in a very bad
situation. If Poland had rolled over, the nazies would have
used her territory to attack the USSR in a one front war. And they
would have won. But as the arrogant ones had been advertising their
death-to-all Slavs program for years, the Poles knew better. Their
honorable refusal to submit forced frothing Hitler to lash out at
western europe first. And that inevitably led to his two front war and
the destruction of germany. Poland became a deadly bone-in-the-throat
when germany tried to devour her. And she thereby prevented hundreds of millions of genocidal deaths. The righteousness of that outcome doesn’t sit right with many nazi-sympathizers.

The best option they have been trying to do is dragging Russia’s feet over ISIS in Syria hoping to wear out Russians and Syrians. Luckily, Russians are not stupid. Since end of September, Putin has reigned in ISIS who are being bombed into existence (from US’s ghost) and on their ways to their deaths. Thus, the great patriotic war mythology forms a cornerstone of Russian nationalism today, at a time when Russians need to ‘rally round the flag’ and resist the very real zio-american machinations against Putin and a sovereign Russia

Perhaps, but it’s also is the causes belli for the tensions and hatreds and distrust and animosity and strife between Russian and her former satellite neighbors. It’s why the Ukraine is breaking apart and why those thick-skulled Ukrainian neo-Nazis are willing to act as Kolomoisky’s mercenaries. How’s that for irony?

It would seem to me that Putin should be able to walk that razors edge of tact in dealing with this. He has so far resisted playing into the attempts of the Zio-west to rope-a-dope him into a wider conflict in Donbas, like they were able to do to Hitler in Poland. If he were to apologize for the ravages the Russian soldiers committed against the Estonians and Latvians and Polish people, perhaps reminding them that the Russians suffered too under the Soviet madness..

the hatreds and generations old resentments might be mollified, and the march of NATO up to Russia’s front door could be reversed. Certainly that would be more to Putin’s and Russia’s advantage than circling the wagons and taking on a passive-aggressive posture, no?

‘The great patriotic war’ casts the Russian people( as the heirs of Soviet Russia) in the role of “heroic liberators of Europe”, providing them with an exaggerated, distorted and self-righteous portrait as heroes and main resisters against the evils of ‘Fascism’ during WWII.

and with all the baggage that goes with it. The people of Ukraine and Poland and Estonia and Hungary and Slovenia and elsewhere all suffered terribly under communism. Tomes have been written on it. All you have to do is go there and see the grey, banal buildings and poverty and ravages of a failed ideology imposed by mediocre and mean spirited men that left the soul dead inside.

What they need to all do is take the Hungarian approach of reconciliation and recognition that they all suffered that madness together and have finally, at long last come up for air. Both Hungarian and Russian. But there needs to more outreach. Putin has already made some efforts along this line. He needs to do more, IMHO.

After all, so the propaganda line goes, they “saved the world” from the clutches of the “evil Natzee” cannibals, who were “attempting to exterminate” the “inferior races” and take over the world. Amazingly, many Russians i’ve talked to seem unable( or unwilling ) to understand the basic fact that the Red Army did not ‘liberate’ anybody, it conquered

if they want to lick the fetid hand of the lords of illusion to assuage their egos, then they should know that it’s a double-bladed sword.

Strip the mythology surrounding the ‘great patriotic war’, and what do they end up with? The facts. But the facts just don’t make for good national mythology.
This is the reason behind Russia’s new legislation against ‘revising’ WWII history.

that sounds terrifyingly Orwellian to me

Just prior to the German attack on June 22, 1941, more than half of the Soviet forces were in the area near and west of Bialystok, that is, in an area deep in Polish occupied territory. “This deployment could only be justified” wrote Grigorenko, “if these troops were deploying for a surprise offensive. In the event of an enemy attack these troops would soon be encircled.”

you can’t possibly mean that good ol’ Uncle Joe was plotting a treacherous attack on his good buddy Adolf?! I’m shocked, shocked !

that would be like suggesting that Stalin and the commies had designs of Europe! That’s crazy! The only reason that Churchill and FDR handed over Eastern Europe to Stalin after the war was because his army just happed to be there, so he was the best person around to protect those people and take care of them. It isn’t like Stalin coveted Eastern Europe or certainly not Germany! Heavens no!

Sometimes the weight of the avalanche of lies that I’ve been inundated with my entire life, are a bit much. Whew, boy..

    So, there it is.

Russia will cling to its false, if feel good narrative as the savior of the world by destroying the evil Nazis, even if it means that Jewish supremacists in control of the west will cynically prop up neo-Nazis in Ukraine to foist a war on Russia as they call Putin = Hitler

It sort of make one’s head spin.

Do you think that the Russians under the Czar would have had a chance against the Germans(of ww2)?

you didn’t read the salient point of what I wrote. If the Bolsheviks had not murdered the Czar and his family and begun genociding everyone in sight with any ability or intelligence like the Ukrainian farmers and agitating for control of Germany too, then the Nazis would have never come to power in the first place. In the early thirties the communists were trying to take advantage of the terrible economic situation in Germany. There were massive brawls in the streets between (New York banker funded) communists and national socialists for control of Germany. As fate would have it, the Nazis won the elections, and only because the German people held their noses and voted against the communists. They didn’t want to be genocided like the Kulaks. Germans are intelligent and hard working people. Communists hate that kind of person and consider them a threat. They send them to gulags or just shoot them in the back of the head and push them into a ditch. It’s no wonder the Germans voted for the Nazis when that was their choice. No?

so just to make it easy for you, OK..

Maybe some of them are living in those German’s houses whose owners were genocded by the Poles after the war was over, eh?

Poles identify with Europeans. They resent the label ‘eastern European’, insisting that they are in Central Europe.

    what the **** is that?!

they are in eastern Europe! It’s a geographical location, not an identity for Christ’s sake

if saying Poland is part of eastern Europe is a vile oversimplification that shows a lack of virtue, then all I can say is that perhaps thou doth protest too much?

perhaps there’s something else you’re upset about other than my having smeared the Poles by calling them ‘eastern Europeans’

BTW, I love Poles and Russian and Jews too. I just don’t like suffering all their eternal violin playing eternal victimhood eternally. The Germans suffered too, and weren’t the only villains during or after that terrible war.

Are you supposed to be an expert on Poland?

absolutely not Robin, not even close

But I don’t pretend to be. I’m posting here because I don’t want to see more war. Im against the wars that my country is waging and I want them to end. It’s the wars that I’m against, not any ethnicities or nationalities. If my historical perspectives are off, please by all means, let me know! If I’m in error somehow, I count on you good people to point it out. But not stuff like my lack of knowledge of the minutia of Polish history or intra-Polish tribal conflicts. There’s no way I’d be able to keep up. For me, it’s enough to know that all of the Poles that I’ve ever met have been wonderful people. They’ve taught me to toast Nostrovia! to pints of beer with great gusto and cheer. One of my heroes of all time is Copernicus. A Pole of singular and unprecedented intellect and intellectual integrity. A giant on the historical stage.

So, it isn’t Poles or Jews or Brits or anyone else that I’m trying to belittle or impugn. But it is the war mongers of every stripe. And as long as the false narratives of the last century are cynically used and abused to foist more evil wars on innocent people by agenda-driven fiends, then that is who I’m against.

Right, because first they genocided a whole people during the middle ages – the ancient Prussians who were a Baltic people.

What’s with all the hating on the Poles? They have the right to be resentful of both Russians and Germans. After all, Americans really resent those who are trying to confiscate their guns, and those people are still just talking about it, whereas we all know what the enemies of the Polish people did to them (and, yes, NKVD was largely Russian, every order to shoot a person was given / written in Russian, chemists spoke Russian to each other, Russification followed for decades, etc.). Love or admire Russia, but accept history and know that Russia will never view it the same way as the West.

And, in fact, it is Poland that deserves admiration right now, because Poland just got a new conservative government and just decided to not accept any “refugees”. And that is bold. Russia can be un-PC all it wants, because it doesn’t stand to lose anything by being un-PC. But Poland does. Yet Poland still acts bravely. If we flew the French flags on our Facebook pages last week, then now we (e.g., any sane European) should be flying the Polish flag to support that decision.

There is more to that story too. Peter Hetherington, in his book Unvanquished, points out that by decisively defeating the Soviet army in 1920 at the gates of Warsaw, Poland stopped the westward march of the Soviet Army, thereby preventing a communist revolution in post-World War I Germany. So Polish resolve saved Europe twice. Her historical record certainly outshines the destructive orgies of her enemies.

  132. The conundrum we face is that our most important military alliance is the doppelganger of the one it was founded to oppose, the Warsaw Pact which hasn’t existed for 25 years. It’s baked into the structure of NATO that its enemy is Russia, with or without its former satrapies and regardless of there no longer being a Soviet enemy. So much so is the mirror image persistence of vision, that the U.S. dominated satrapies are still as junior to their patron as the various “peoples’ democratic republics” were to the Kremlin. If the only raison d’existence of a vast military and political bureaucracy was to oppose that enemy, in which it was engaged as basically an unmovable object versus an irresistible force, then the physics of the politics is that when one of those is removed, the other will irresistibly move forward. Precisely which occurred with the NATO expansion, despite the good will of temporary leaders on either side. The only thing that stops such is when it is again prevented from moving by opposing force, which has happened. Ironically, this again creates its own justification, a structure problem where the need of a bureaucracy to survive requires that exactly the same enemy and conflict be resurrected. We have become, in Eagles’ parlance of the hotel you can never check out of, all prisoners of our own device.

I must disagree somewhat with u regarding the ‘Lebensraum’ matter( i read your exchange with ramaski).

A well informed commentator at another forum put it best( I’ve edited it somewhat)

“The word “Lebensraum” is often misinterpretated. In January 1939, after uniting the Austrian, Sudenten and German brothers in a German Reich, Hitler said that the process of the formation of the German nation – the German “Lebensraum” – had reached its conclusion (see speech below).

In 1938 and 1939 Hitler also offered to guarantee the Polish borders established at Versailles and so proposed to renounce the lost German “Lebensraum” in Poland once and for all.
Do “land-grabbers” planning wars for living space act that way?
In Mein Kampf Hitler talked about potential “Lebensraum” in Russia.
That’s true. But he wrote that because he thought that the Soviet Union was about to collapse and dissolve on its own (because the jews – leading Russia at that time – were a “ferment of decomposition” according to Hitler’s words).

If that had happened, Germany and other big Powers would have seized parts of the dislocated Soviet cake. But that doesn’t mean that Hitler wanted a war for “Lebensraum” with the mighty Soviet Union 17 years AFTER writing Mein Kampf.

    *Adolf Hitler Speech – 1939.01.30

« The fact is that the only real offer of security which Poland received in 1938 and 1939 emanated from Hitler. He offered to guarantee the boundaries laid down in the Versailles Treaty against every other country.
Even the Weimar Republic had not for a moment taken this into consideration.
Whatever one may think of Hitler’s government or foreign policy, no doubt exists on this point; his proposals to Poland in 1938/39 were reasonable and just and the most moderate of all which he made during the six years of his efforts to revise the Versailles Treaty by peaceful means. »
    – Professor Harry Elmer Barnes, prominent American historian.

« Poland’s decision of August 30, 1939 that was the basis for general mobilization marked a turning point in the history of Europe. It forced Hitler to wage war at a time when he hoped to gain further unbloody victories. » – Kazimierz Sosnkowski, Polish General and Government
    -in-Exile’s commander-in-chief, August 31, 1943.

“Of all the Germans, Believe it or not, Hitler is the most moderate as far as Danzig and the Corridor are concerned.” – Sir, Neville Henderson,
British Ambassador to Berlin, 16th August, 1939.

« The last thing Hitler wanted was to produce another great war. His people, and particularly his generals, were profoundly fearful of any such risk — the experiences of World War One had scarred their minds. » – Sir. Basil Liddell Hart, The History of the Second World War.

« The state of German armament in 1939 gives the decisive proof that Hitler was not contemplating general war, and probably not intending war at all. » – Professor AJP Taylor, The Origins of the Second World War, p. 267.

« Even in 1939 the German army was not equipped for a prolonged war; and in 1940 the German land forces were inferior to the French in everything except leadership. » – Professor AJP Taylor, The Origins of the Second World War, p. 104-5.

    The commentator adds:

“Wouldn’t Hitler have stopped his repatriation operation of all ethnic Germans living outside the Reich’s borders (the “Heim Ins Reich” -Home in the Reich- operation) if he had been planning to populate those areas with Germans after victory?”

    Exactly.

More from a good friend of mine on the issues leading to WWII(also somewhat edited by me):

While Hitler did desire more living space, he had a legitimate basis for doing so. The British blockade during WWI was still fresh in his mind, hundreds of thousands of Germans had died because of this blockade, a blockade left in place long after hostilities ceased.[1] As for Mein Kampf, Hitler told the French reporter Bertrand de Jouvenel of the “Paris Midi” that when he wrote his book, the Ruhr region was occupied by France, etc., and yes, France and Germany were enemies. When asked by de Jouvenel if he would rewrite what he wrote Hitler answered that he is not an author, corrections will be made in the book of history.[2] And he did just that, never laying claim to Alsace-Lorraine. Hitler also mentioned that when he wrote his book he could not even dream of becoming chancellor of Germany. But, when Hitler did become chancellor, he wanted the Allies to honor what they had promised at Versailles – and did so from the start – to disarm as agreed to and as stipulated under Article 8 of the Versailles Treaty, which reads:

“The Members of the League recognise that the maintenance of peace requires the reduction of national armaments to the lowest point consistent with national safety and the enforcement by common action of international obligations. The Council, taking account of the geographical situation and circumstances of each State, shall formulate plans for such reduction for the consideration and action of the several Governments. Such plans shall be subject to reconsideration and revision at least every ten years. After these plans shall have been adopted by the several Governments, the limits of armaments therein fixed shall not be exceeded without the concurrence of the Council. The Members of the League agree that the manufacture by private enterprise of munitions and implements of war is open to grave objections. The Council shall advise how the evil effects attendant upon such manufacture can be prevented, due regard being had to the necessities of those Members of the League which are not able to manufacture the munitions and implements of war necessary for their safety. The Members of the League undertake to interchange full and frank information as to the scale of their armaments, their military, naval, and air programmes and the condition of such of their industries as are adaptable to war-like purposes”.

The Versailles Treaty (German defense lawyers were never allowed to mention that Treaty at the Nürnberg trial) allowed Germany an army of 100 000 lightly armed troops, and Hitler, in a speech of 17 May 1933 promised to send even those home if the Allies did likewise.[3] In this same speech, Hitler told his audience that he had agreed to the MacDonald Plan, a plan allowing Germany 200 000 troops, about one-fifth of the number of troops allowed other countries surrounding Germany – the Russian army of about 1 million not even included. Also, Germany was not allowed any planes, while Poland was allowed 22, Belgium 150, the Baltic’s 150, the little entente 550, France 500: England and Russia are not mentioned. Again, Hitler agreed to this plan, even though France demanded that Germany be placed under a 4 year prohibition period.[4] The Allies kept stalling – efforts were made to extend the prohibition period by another eight years – and negotiations were finally to resume in 1935,[5] the Allies arming all the while. Those stalling tactics forced Hitler to break off negotiations and on 16 March 1935 he gave the order to re-arm Germany, as any responsible statesman would have done. On 2 May 1935, France and Russia signed a mutual assistance agreement (Beistandspakt), which officially added the Red Army to the list of foes. That was followed on 16 May by the signing of a similar agreement between Moscow and Prague,[6] and Hitler was supposed to wait 12 years before re-arming Germany???

Germany was also concerned with the newly created state of Czechoslovakia. Ribbentrop stated at the IMT:

“I remember that in this connection he (Hitler) quoted especially the former French Minister of Aviation, Pierre Cot, who had called Bohemia and Moravia, that is Czechoslovakia, the “airplane carrier” against Germany. I believe it was Reich Marshal Goering who already mentioned that at that time we received intelligence reports of Russian pilots or Russian missions being on Czech airdromes[…]”[7]

Still, Hitler took no action until the maltreatment of minorities[ethnic Germans] by Czech authorities aroused even the displeasure of the British. To save face they send Lord Runciman to investigate.[8] Thus the Sudetenland was finally allowed to reunite with Germany, and Czechoslovakia was eventually dropped by the British [9].

On 26 January 1934, Germany and Poland signed a non-aggression Treaty, and on 24 October 1938, Ribbentrop had a lengthy talk with the Polish envoy Lipski, to see if outstanding issues could not be settled. His suggestion: Danzig(which was about 97% German at the time and had never been polish. Versailles had robbed Germany of 1/8 of her territory and 1/10 of her people) was to be returned to Germany and a rail/road link built connecting East Prussia to Germany[East Prussia had been severed from the rest of Germany after WWI]. Poland, in return, would get to keep all the German territories given to it at Versailles, with Germany to guarantee the border for 25 years.[ plus, Poland would be left in control of the economic and railway facilities in Danzig. At any rate the poles were building their own port, Gdynia, and could continue to use Danzig. There was no reason whatsoever for Poland to rule Danzig. ] Lipski promised to relay those proposals to the Polish foreign minister Jozef Beck. Those very reasonable proposals were eventually turned down by the Poles.[10] Negations continued but when the British gave the Poles that unconditional guarantee, against Germany, the Poles – emboldened by the British guarantee – refused to negotiate any further. But even after Britain had given the Poles that guarantee, Hitler, along with other ministers, had worked out a 16 point program in order to try and settle issues peacefully. He had informed the British about this program and waited, right up to 31 August 1939, for a Polish emissary, no one showed up. The 16 points were broadcast on the radio at 21:00 hrs (9:00 o’clock) on 31 August, the Poles ridiculed them and called their people to arms[general mobilization], on 1 September 1939, the German army marched into Poland.[11]

Germanys peace offerings, following the outbreak of war with Poland, are well known, but they fell on deaf ears. Hitler demonstrated again and again that he did not want war, and when the French campaign[Western campaign of 1940] ended he ordered demobilisation, sending whole divisions home: production of war material changed to production of consumer goods.[12] Thus, if the Generalplan Ost was really a long held ambition of Hitler’s, he sure had a strange way of going about it.[...]

    Best regards

“Even before Pollard committed treason, his tenure as an intelligence officer was sufficiently checkered to have roused U.S. suspicions…. Perhaps the biggest red flag was that Pollard was known to have disclosed classified information to a South African defense attaché, a violation that evidently alarmed his higher-ups in naval intelligence….Pollard was successfully recruited in 1984 by Colonel Aviem Sella, an Israeli air force pilot who had taken part in the famous 1981 raid on Saddam Hussein’s Osirak nuclear reactor. To prove his bona fides, Pollard initially passed along U.S. intelligence on Saudi military capability and ground force logistics as well as American satellite footage of the aftermath of the destroyed Iraqi reactor, which Sella may only have wanted as a personal souvenir.
Eventually, the Israelis would pay Pollard as much as $2,500 a month—roughly the equivalent of his U.S. government salary—in exchange for sensitive documents related to Arab and Pakistani nuclear intelligence, Arab biological and chemical warfare programs, Soviet air force and air defense systems, and Arab nations’ orders of battle. Specifically, the Israelis were most interested in information on Syria, according to a CIA damage assessment written in 1987.”

Compare this weasel with Ed Snowen, a true American patriot. It would be interesting to ask those Congresspeople that are for Snowden’ blood to tell about their attitude to Pollard. Guess many of them are “in love with Israel.”

They “only wanted a corridor” while their stated policy goal was to steal all of Poland and kill every non-german living there?

how much German land did Poland steal at Versailles? The abuse of the Germans who were transferred to Poland under the terms of that infamous document are notorious to those who know about them, which of course is not very many since crimes and atrocities against Germans are always hushed up. Nothing to worry or complain about, huh?

It’s staggeringly hypocritical for anyone to point a sanctimonious finger at Germany when the outrages and treachery against Germany by her neighbors is legendary. But it’s never mentioned. It doesn’t fit the narrative, so Poles go around crying and blubbering about their terrible (and actual) suffering at the hands of the Nazis while pretending that their own hands are clean and that the Bolsheviks (who the Germans were trying heroically to kill) were gentlemanly statesmen and compassionate humanitarians.

German land was hacked off and handed to Poland by the Versailles historic iniquity, and the German people were treated harshly and with atrocities by the Poles whose domination they were doomed to. As I’ve already mentioned, German boys were castrated for being German boys. What kind of monsters do such things?

Of all the crimes of World War II, one never hears about the wholesale massacres that occurred in Poland just before the war. Thousands of German men, women and children were massacred in the most horrendous fashion by press-enraged mobs. Hitler decided to halt the slaughter and he rushed to the rescue. Young German boys, when captured by the Poles, were castrated.

    - Leon Degrelle

and then after the war, how did the noble and honorable Poles treat the German civilians? By mass-expulsions and death marches into the frozen hinterlands. Millions upon millions of German civilians were forced from their lands and homes and millions died by starvation or exposure. Their only crime was being German. Not Nazis, not soldiers, but women and children and old men who were genocded by hate consumed Poles.

There was hatred and genocide and misery to go around. but we only hear of German’s victims and German’s crimes, never the reverse, which was just as heinous.

Anyway, yea. Just to point out one of the reasons I’m sick to death of all the whining, especially from Jews in Israel with their boot on the neck of a Palestinian crying about the injustices of the Holocaust, or Poles living in the homes of Germans who were genocided crying about the injustices they suffered.

There was savagery and horrors to go around. And I’m more interested in preventing more of the same in this century.

In fact Art, the stories about Pollard are largely fiction, claiming that he only spied to give Israel information on its Arab enemies. In fact, he gave the Israelis much much more to include information that was later bartered to the Soviet Union and which provided all of America’s communications codes and also enable the Russians to capture and execute U.S. spies. The media stories also ignore the fact that Pollard was only in it for the money. He approached the Pakistanis and South Africans before he went to Israel. There is no mention in the press accounts about Israeli enthusiasm for spying on its greatest benefactor and “friend.” It’s all enough to make you sick.

Also ignore the ‘Agree’ I accidentally clicked on his comment to Annamarina
    *************************************************

    @Jayman
I am curious as to why you and some others rush to label these observations on human behaviour as ‘Laws’. ‘All traits are heritable’ is different from ‘all traits are ineluctably inherited’. ‘Heritable’ implies that the converse ‘not heritable’ is somewhat likely, if not equally so. There are mathematical processes where initial conditions restricting the set of outcomes does not necessarily imply determinism. Actually, the reverse can be true as well: apparent randomness can conceal deterministic processes.

I happen to think that HBD is a field with some promise and intuitively appeals to the human experience. However given its relatively recent endeavour to link to genetic causation, with behavioural psychology obtained primarily through correlations between observed traits and gene networks (if that), one would have thought that ‘conjectures’ or at best ‘ strong conjectures’ would better suit the case.

However the haste to crown as ‘Laws’ things that very well might turn out not to be the case, seems to have overtaken scientific caution.

Also, if you think that a comment is repetitive, don’t respond. Calling the commenter or their observation stupid is in bad form (unless of course they say something entirely egregious). However, annamarina’s observation was nothing of the sort, and moreover, the graph that you linked as response to geokat’s query showed nothing in the way of your claim.

The U.S. then claimed to have hit 116 oil tankers while the Russian air force claims to have hit 500. But there is an important difference between these claims. The Russians provided videos showing how their airstrikes hit at least two different very large oil tanker assemblies with hundreds of tankers in each. They also provided video of several hits on oil storage sites and refinery infrastructure.

I must disagree somewhat with u regarding the ‘Lebensraum’ matter( i read your exchange with ramaski).

I suppose over my expressed opinion that Hitler was an “asshole”

I feel he was. Perhaps not in the entirety, but insofar as he held and advanced the idea of racial superiority- and by definition inferiority. I suspect that’s what did him and his regime in. I think it’s fine to have one’s opinions regarding the relative superiority or lack there of when it comes to the myriad races of man, but to advance such an agenda as policy, leads to a lot of resentments and hostilities that Germany just didn’t need at such a dire time in its history. I feel one of the main expressions of racial or individual superiority is a sense of noblesse oblige when it comes to the lessers, and had Hitler shown more of that, I wonder if the terrible things that happened to Germany and so many others might have been avoided.

Hitler was a towering figure who accomplished things that will have history placing him among the greats. But as great as his achievements were, so too were his catastrophic failures.

I suppose since Hitler and the Nazis have been so maligned for so long by people who’re no better, and with outrageous lies and smears and demonization galore, that those of us who’re aware of the avalanche of lies ought to be a little more gentle with his memory, but I just can’t help being annoyed when I hear him talk about ‘Aryan superiority’. Even if it were true, it seems to me crass to talk about it. And it earned him no much needed good will from those untermenschen whom he would presume to rule.

    I tend to agree

Russia and eastern Europe were to be ruled by the kind of men who would order and carry out such a slaughter of women and children because they represented something the new order considered inconvenient

it presaged the horrific murder of untold millions upon millions more inconvenient people

Where do you find that? While your overall intention is fine (“I’m more interested in preventing more of the same in this century.”), why sully it with allegations that are dubious, at best?

On the one hand, you shrug off criticism by saying you’re not an expert on the ‘fine points’; on the other, you claim to know what ‘the Poles’ are thinking at any given time. As far as I can tell, nobody really liked the Bolsheviks. Though a minority in Russia, they somehow managed to seize power in the confusion (which they generated), and maintained it by terror.

But that was the past. Your statement, “Poles go around..” is present tense — even more absurd. Poles hated the Bolsheviks, considered Dzerzhinsky a traitor, that Stlain hung them out to dry in 1944, and apparently hate the Russians like they were still Soviet, claiming that Russia is threatening them. (Who knows if they really believe that, or if it’s just their role in NATO’s show.)

With their well earned reputation of conducting espionage within host countries of which they dwell, It puzzles me why any government, including the US government, would even consider placing a Jew of any description in a sensitive position where access to highly classified intelligence of any description is involved. The fact that the US, and all other western governments continue doing so, tells me that Jews apparently control every aspect of the governments on which they spy and betray on a routine basis.

A terribly naive or a willfully misleading view of the recent history.

the physics of the politics is that when one of those is removed, the other will irresistibly move forward. Precisely which occurred with the NATO expansion, despite the good will of temporary leaders on either side…

We got now a new expression “the physics of the politics”. It was not the personal responsibility of the Western leaders to draw-down, to convert the weapons into ploughshare and to establish lasting peace after the demise of USSR. No, the NATO expansion Eastwards was driven by some inanimate, natural, laws of physics. Thus, scientific determinism rules over personal responsibility in the Fran’s West. In the past, it used to be God’s will for the West to rule the World, now it is the laws of physics.

What a bunch of utter bull!!!

The reality is, of course, totally opposite. What happened after the Cold War proved that the West was the ugly, the mean, the exploitative side because of the way it used its win to conquer the Eastern European and other countries. The baddies won the Cold War. Go ask any decent older East European to compare the US as a master to the USSR as a master.

I always thought keeping Pollard in prison was counterproductive because it allowed propagandists to make him out to be persecuted and some sort of martyr.

The faster he could be sent to Israel, the more that what he did could be identified with his sponsors’ aggressive spying against the U.S. and bring into bold relief how Israel and America’s interests are sometimes far from being in harmony, to the point where certain Israeli policies have harmed the United States.

I am sure that incarcerating Pollard cost the American taxpayer plenty; the sooner he could be deported to the Tel Aviv square named for him, all the better. In the vast waste of the budget, maintaining the pernicious Pollard in the style to which he became accustomed in prison, is comparatively small. But I say spending even chump change to support him changes us into chumps.

    Hi Sam

Jayman just posted about his ‘comment policy’ one of the most arrogant, narcissistic screeds I’ve yet to read at Unz Review:

    http://www.unz.com/jman/uninformed-criticism/

In other words, if you have a valid criticism, it’s uninformed because Jayman is the man:

“the whole reason you’re reading me is because I know things that you don’t know”

    &

“You need to understand is that I have been deeply studying this topic for years. Odds are I know a great deal more about the matter than you do. But when I tell you that you don’t know what you’re talking about, it typically means that you don’t know what you’re talking about”

Which makes this next quite subjective:

“That’s not to say I don’t invite criticism or new information, because I welcome both. I welcome and am actively seeking informed criticism. Unfortunately, informed criticism is hard to come by in this space”

Even more unfortunately, it would seem ‘informed criticism’ is, to Jayman, sucking up to his assertions (yeah, I was there earlier this year and his skin is more than thin, particularly when challenged with perfectly valid observations such as yours)

What I can comfortably discern about some of these “HBD researchers”, is that they fancy themselves as some manner of cutting-edge geneticists. Molecular biology and genomics research is discovering that it is hard enough to link physical diseases with individual genes – which is why they posit gene networks – resorting thereafter, to probabilistic models. So making these claims that human behavioural traits are inherited based on some genetic “Law”, especially with the certitude that this character Jayman does, is asinine. Look, I am not a gene researcher, and speak only from what I have gleaned from my molecular biologist and geneticist friends. While these researchers are excited about their field, they would be the first to tell you about the challenges, but would certainly not make any arrogant assertions.

    My hypothesis:

While your overall intention is fine

why do I feel like I’m reading a note on my paper in red ink from my schoolmarm

why sully it with allegations that are dubious, at best?

    dubious? Now who’s taking liberties?

that characterization of the way the Poles ‘see’ the Bolsheviks as ‘humanitarians’ was full blown sardonic mode. Many of the ultra-nationalistic Poles and Russians I know refer to the tribe as zhids, and the way they say it doesn’t sound flattering.

So yea, there’s lingering resentments today in the Polish or Russian community over what some Jews did back in the day when they were running the Soviet Union, especially the really bad ones. I think of Bela Kun in Hungary. That sort. But since those bad old days are over, the resentments that the Russians and other Slavs feel towards them (Jewish oligarchs aside) are more like fellow victims of the evil Germans. They want to jump on that victimhood bandwagon that has gotten the Jews and Zionists so much sympathy (and lucre!) Germany is again relatively prosperous, they’re over there driving their BMWs on the Autobahn and winning soccer games and gold medals.

It hurts people’s feelings. Envy and resentment are the mother’s milk to war mongers and assorted agitators. It’s how the Bolsheviks were able to rally the armies of darkness that foisted all that commie insanity in the first place. And using the lingering resentments over the wrongs committed during (or after) WWII was over (both real and imagined) is the fault line they’re using to foist WWIII. Ground zero for this today is in eastern Ukraine, where the lines between the ‘heroic saviors of humanity who defeated the Nazi fascists’ are on one side (Russia), and the people who grew up under communism’s boot and suffered the “liberation” (rape) of the Red Army are on the other.

Russia (and Poland and others) need to reconcile themselves to the fact that they didn’t liberate anyone. All the propaganda they grew up with notwithstanding. Sure, they forced the hated and arrogant Germans out of their countries, and stomped Germany down but good, but as they were doing so, they were being cynically used in the service of The Beast, who used their great victory to forge their weapons into chains once the war was “won”.

What people should understand, (IMHO) is that the war wasn’t between Russia vs. Germany, or Poland vs. Russia, or England vs. Germany, but a general madness that was foisted over all of these people by bankers who profited massively on the whole carnage, and used it all to make themselves even richer and more powerful than even before. That’s what’s been going on all this time. And that’s what’s going on today. Our wars in the Middle East are not wars of the average American against Muslims who hate our freedom. No. They are contrived wars that use the media as a propaganda weapon to trick us into killing each other. Just like they were doing back in the day. The same people are doing it today. And we’re all acting like their dupes when we point to Germany and call them Nazis, or point to the Russians and call them communists. Russia under communism is absolutely no different than America under the neocons. It is exactly the same thing. They’re riding on our heads like Master-Blaster

and telling us ‘it’s the Russians! who are evil commies, or it’s the Germans! who are evil fascists, or it’s the Muslims who hate your freedom, and they get us into these wars and they profit from them and laugh all the way to their banks. While poor Germans and Frenchmen and English boys from the country side die in frozen trenches, or Russians and German working class men butcher each other at Stalingrad over the intrigues of evil men and the bankers who fund them. While American soldiers come home with malignant souls and kill themselves when they realize that it is them who are the terrorists and the Afghans who are righteously fighting to be free of murderous and militarily aggressive foreign invaders trying to illegally take over their country.

And just like the nationalistic Russians (and Poles and others) who would die before they’d admit that Germany had a point in trying to kill the Bolshevik Fiend in its lair, so too there are equally nationalistic American men who would challenge me to a fist fight for calling our boys “terrorists”. Congenitally unable to see how pathetically they’re being used. They’re like that empty eyed actor who played Blaster in the Master-Blaster.

perfect cannon fodder for the bankers, because his ego will never allow him to admit he’s been a fool and dupe

And all of this is orchestrated behind the scenes by clinically psychopathic men without even the shadow of an intact soul, but because they’re psychopaths with an insane lust for power, they’ve risen to places of influence, and while they get even more powerful, poor men and boys slug it out for their amusement.

    OK, I hear myself ranting

    time to stop

I hope I made a point somewhere in all of that..

No, the NATO expansion Eastwards was driven by some inanimate, natural, laws of physics. Thus, scientific determinism rules

the determinism is the baboon-like nature of ‘mankind’. Especially some of them. They have an innate imperative to dominate others. A congenital need for power over others. It’s the very thing, the very essence of Orwell’s prophetic 1984. The need to dominate others for the very sake of doing it. It’s why some people become cops. It’s why men like Bibi or Hitler ascend to leadership. That scientific determinism is very real, but it’s not based on physics so much as it’s based on biology.

the West was the ugly, the mean, the exploitative side because of the way it used its win to conquer the Eastern European and other countries. The baddies won the Cold War. Go ask any decent older East European to compare the US as a master to the USSR as a master.

The West didn’t used to be the ugly and mean. For the sake of an arbitrary slice of time, when I think of how Ayn Rand described the Soviet Union, and the West at the time she came to New York, it was clear that the Soviet Union was the evil empire and the West was free. I think we’d all agree that people did not thrive under communism, either in Russia or Eastern Europe or anywhere else communism reigned. But what I ‘see’ happened is that when the Berlin Wall came down, it was because it wasn’t needed anymore, because the commies and Marxists were over here now. There was no more reason for a wall. Then Putin came along and wrested his country from the globalist/Marxist/banker fiends, and so now there’s strife again between the ‘East’- Putin’s Russia vs. the “west’ – under the boot of the elite bankers and Zionists and assorted corporate thug$

The fault line is no longer Berlin, but Ukraine

where ironically it being fought by neo-Nazi mercenaries funded by Jewish oligarchs against a Russian nationalist leader who is defending the ideals and culture and heritage of the West

I completely agree constitutional distinctions aren’t high on Woolsey’s list. He seems much more interested in fear-mongering rhetoric that enhances the profits of ventures he advises in the privatized ‘national security’ state.

It’s interesting he’s a senior vice-president at Booz Allen Hamilton – Snowden’s old employer (which had $5.48 billion in 2014 revenue, 99% from the federal government). CEO Ralph W. Shrader’s first act when Snowden started to leak was to obtain DOD waiver from any responsibility.

Woolsey’s chairmanship of the toxic ‘Foundation for the Defense of Democracies’ is appropriate (both make one want to gag).

I’m not familiar with Reilly, but it appears he’s picking up where Bernard Lewis left off.

If you’re interested in seeing how one scholar debunks the myth propagated by the mainstream that Bernard Lewis is:

“the doyen of Middle Eastern studies,” the “father” of Islamic studies, “[a]rguably the West’s most distinguished scholar on the Middle East,” and “[a] Sage for the Age.”

    see this link:

    http://www.counterpunch.org/2003/06/27/bernard-lewis/

As for Reilly, the thesis of his book is rather simple: “a large portion of mainstream Sunni Islam, … has shut the door to reality in a profound way.”

So rather than attributing the breakdown of Muslim countries (e.g., Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, etc.) to invasions and occupations by the West in an effort to enhance the security of the villa in the jungle, we are supposed to believe instead that the root cause is Islamism.

Good luck trying. Hope you will be honest to yourself while (if) trying to deal with facts. It is very unfortunate that discussion on real problems with Islam has been hijacked by neocons and AIPAC crowd, which in no way makes those truly fundamental problems less legitimate. The history of Jihad waged on Christianity (or what today would be considered Western Civilization) is rich in barbarity and is very long. Well, maybe “the physics of the politics” was not your main point. But even your extended explanation above smacks of inanimate forces instead of decision makers. Perhaps your point would have been better stated with the law of action and reaction, which does exist in politics. For example, Putin may have not come to lead Russia if the Western politicians did not keep pushing the control-boundary Eastwards. But it was definitely a political decision to expand NATO over all of Eastern Europe. An average Eastern European (Pole, Czech, Slovac etc) lives worse now then under USSR, unless he/she has someone working in the West and sending money.

It is very unfortunate that discussion on real problems with Islam has been hijacked by neocons and AIPAC crowd, which in no way makes those truly fundamental problems less legitimate.

Every religion has “real problems,” including Islam. No one is denying this. The issue I take with those who’d like to highlight these issues is precisely what you stated above: that the neocons and AIPAC crowd have hijacked this issue.

If Islam is the menace you truly believe it to be, why are the Anglozionists doing everything in their power to see it flourish? Here are some irrefutable facts:

    1. When the British and French carved up the ruins of the Ottoman Empire after Turkey was defeated in WWI (Sykes-Picot), they took a page out of the imperial playbook (of Divide and Rule) and placed Sunni, Shia, and Kurd within the same borders (Iraq, Syria, Lebannon). The only way to keep such a Frankenstein’s monster together is if there is a strong central government ruled by a strong-man. Instead of helping these strong-men keep a lid on the Islamists, the AngloZionists did the opposite. They removed them and stood by as the predicted power vacuum was filled by the Islamists.

    2. Instead of respecting the will of the Iranian people, the US engineered a coup that ousted the democratically elected Mohammad Mosaddegh, and, subsequently, installed the Shah whose brutally repressive rule helped usher in an Islamic Revolution.

    3. In an effort to divide the Palestinian resistance, the Israelis aided and abetted the creation of a rival to the PLO, the Islamic resistance or HAMAS.

So if there are “real problems” with Islam, judging by their actions, the Anglozionists don’t seem to be too concerned, do they?

I would agree with you that Social Democracy as the ruling system in the West during the Cold War was a bit better system than USSR Communism. But the moment Communism fell, the Social Democracy started turning into Robber Capitalism. War on Terror and Too Big to Fail were two new/old methods for the control of Western societies and in about 30 years the biggest transfer of wealth in human history has happened, from the ordinary people to the “robber elite”. This transfer of wealth still continues on through the policies of Western Central Banks: endless printing of money being given to this elite which lends it back to own government. The War on Terror is a distraction, a scary entertainment, although truly deadly. The Western societies are ridden by the financial and military elite, whilst everybody else more or less is a servant. The New World Order is a New Packing Order a new hierarchy of power and control. The subjects are fed a constant feed of sewerage from MSM channels and outlets to keep them occupied.

The Zionist may be over-represented in this elite, but I do not think that the elite is exclusive by race or by religion.

From this a general rule is drawn which never or rarely fails: that he who is the cause of another becoming powerful is ruined; because that predominancy has been brought about either by astuteness or else by force, and both are distrusted by him who has been raised to power.

    - The Prince, by Niccolò Machiavelli, Chapter Three

Pollard was released, and money flows to Israel, and Netanyahu can humiliate the US pres, vice pres and Sec of State with impunity, etc. etc., because the US gave Israel that power and is now ruined.

The physics of the politics of power dictates that there is only one way out for the USA, if it wishes to continue as a sovereign state: Israel delenda set.

It’s US or them. That simple.

Think of it in Schumpeterian terms, an act of creative destruction.

I am keenly aware of Mossadegh affair and what prominent role it played in radicalization of Iran in the long run. After all, I guarded the maritime border between USSR and Iran for a fairly long time. My former Naval Academy was located, through the olive forest, across the apartment complex which housed since 1979 members of Iranian TUDEH party. Those who managed to escape. I am keenly aware of Iran. Now about anglo-zionists. It was my position for many years now, that, in general, power elites in US (mostly) and Europe are not only dangerous, they are also incompetent (which is part of the reason of why they are dangerous). Part of the answer lies in the fact that US is not a nation-state, and never truly was. Since we are in the thread by incomparable Phil Giraldi, despite my disagreement with him precisely on the issue of Islam (at least I think I am in disagreement), I would suggest to read his superb piece Old Testament Armed Forces–some answers are there.

But most important, both Great Britain and US are island nations (with US as a “world island” in the words of former CNO Admiral Elmo Zumwalt) and they are not, together with their “elites”, conditioned by the realities of war. Tragedy of 9-11 and suicidal immigration policies are cases in point.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized KaDeWe and called on the German government to step in and put an end to what he said was a “total boycott.”

“This department store was under Jewish ownership, the Nazis took it,” Netanyahu said at the opening of the weekly cabinet meeting in Jerusalem. “In an absurd way, now this department store is marking products from settlements in Judah, Samaria [the West Bank] and the Golan. It started with marking products, and now we have been told that they removed the products — a total boycott.”

“We protest this unacceptable step — unacceptable from an ethical point of view, substantively improper and historically invalid. We expect the German government, which came out against the labeling of products, to take action in this serious matter.”

    @JayMan
The below nested blockquote highlights your response to my observation that these behavioural traits and their genetic causes are obtained through correlation type analyses and should therefore not rise beyond the characterisation of ‘conjectures’, or equivalently statistical hypothesis.

I happen to think that HBD is a field with some promise and intuitively appeals to the human experience. However given its relatively recent endeavour to link to genetic causation, with behavioural psychology obtained primarily through correlations between observed traits and gene networks (if that ), one would have thought that ‘conjectures’ or at best ‘ strong conjectures’ would better suit the case.

Nope. See Barnes et al (2014).

I read the papers.[I had a couple of hours to kill]. As I suspected, they do draw conclusions from correlations. Using longitudinal data on identical and non-identical twins and some standard software package they estimate what is called an ACE model. These models aren’t anything complicated and I am sure most Unz readers can handle them comfortably. Basically one estimates the parameters of a simple linear system using (optionally) statistical maximum likelihood methods. Using parameter estimates the researcher then makes certain probabilistic statements based on correlations and variance. So far I don’t see any attempts [honest on their part] to even speak of specifying a model of causation, for that would be a great deal closer to an actual theory, but would require de-expressing and re-expressing identified genes or networks, and then observing behavioural outcomes over periods of time. A very tall order.

In their own words, e.g., in the paper “Behavioral Genetic Test of Evolutionary Taxonomy”, the authors note (main conclusions):

[..] revealed that the best-fitting model was the AE model for both the LCP measure and sexual promiscuity. Heritability and the non-shared environment accounted for all of the variance in both variables. LCP offender classification was roughly 79 % heritable, and sexual promiscuity was approximately 50 % heritable.

    [......]

Figure2 contains the results from this portion of the analysis, and the results support the prediction that shared genetic factors influence both LCP offending and sexual involvement. Not only did the genetic risk scales covary with one another, but they were also significantly predictive across traits.

    [...]

    The current study was intended to further unpack the nature and origins of LCP criminal behavior. Ellis (1988 ) was one of the first scholars to draw attention to the fact that a variety of important life history traits correlate with criminal outcomes.These associations may have emerged because of selection forces acting to locate humans along a spectrum ranging from either more, or less,K-selected (i.e., faster versus slower life histories;

    [....]

With the above in mind, it would be hasty to conclude this study without recognizing the inherent limitations—both theoretical and methodological—that we faced. First, it is possible that sexual promiscuity and LCP offending correlate for reasons other than life history selection.

These studies are statistical inquiries on conjectures about social behaviour, driven, possibly among other things, by shared genetic endowments. Nothing more, nothing less. They can be interesting and potentially useful. However they do not rise to the level of ‘Laws’, as in the Laws of Thermodynamics.

So your quip ‘Nope’ above, means rather little to me.

P.S. : I read your comment policy, and it is a howler of an example in self-congratulatory twaddle with the perfunctory disclaimers such as ‘ I am not averse to criticism…’ . etc.

I won’t be sampling any more of your columns – a mutually indiscernible absence I might add – for I am quite sure that whatever I wish to learn about genetics and molecular biology as they affects our lives, I have far more talented, and therefore typically, more modest sources.

Pollard’s avarice reminds me of two other con-men: Bernie Madoff and Marc Rich. Madoff, given his victims, couldn’t wrap himself in a flag and pose as a patriot. Rich, on the other hand, was far smarter than Pollard or Madoff. He carefully seeded favor with Shimon Peres, Ehud Barak, and ultimately Bill Clinton.

Rich’s lawyer 1985-2000 was Lewis ‘Scooter’ Libby, one of three “distinguished Republican lawyers” cited by Clinton as supporting a pardon. Clinton’s price: $1+ million split between the party, Hillary’s senate campaign, and the Clinton Library.

Rich’s trading with Iran , tax evasion, wire fraud, and racketeering is well known. Less celebrated is his subsequent role in the UN-Iraqi Oil for Food program.

Corruption in the UN ‘Oil for Food’ program in Iraq (1997-2003) was one theme used to justify invasion. We had to invade, the reasoning went, because wicked Europeans (France, Germany, Russia, etc) were skimming enormous profits from the program and this corruption explained their lack of support for the use of force. What did the Volker Report find in late 2005?

    Company (Headquarters): $Amount – CEO/Director (Nationality);

    BayOil (USA, Bahamas): $7.349 billion – David Chalmers Jr (American);
    Taurus Petroleum Ltd (USA, Switzerland); $4.97 billion – Ben Pollner (American);
    Vitol SA (London, Switzerland): $4.034 billion – K. Snell (?);
    Glencore International AG (Switzerland): $3.163 billion – Strotnotte (Swiss?);
    Chevron Texaco (USA) $1.779 billion (American);
    Marc Rich (Switzerland): $435.917 million – Rich (former American);
    Total Oil (France): $294.0 million -(French);
Elf Oil (France): $120.0 million – (French).

Glencore is Marc Rich’s old firm. David Chalmers was a Republican ‘pioneer’ (major contributor). Ben Pollner (former Marc Rich associate) disguised his interest through two shell companies based in Nassau and Nevis (owned with his children).

I didn’t realize it at the time but Libby and Miller were both members of The Aspen Study Group or ASG.

For those who didn’t know, the ASG met in the summer of 2003 in Aspen, Colorado for a workshop to discuss an American grand strategy in the Middle East.

I have started reading the proceedings of that workshop, but I thought I’d share the document for anyone who would like to see more details. Here are a couple of quotes from the introduction:

Now, the United States has embarked upon an ambitious mission to remake the Middle East.

The United States has long maintained several core (though competing) interests in the Middle East, including the stability of world oil markets and uninterrupted flow of petroleum from the region, the manifest importance of Israeli security, and support for moderate Arab regimes.

Again, you don’t seem to understand the distinction between laws as understood in physical sciences and statistical possibilities. Arguing in favour of heritability is a redundant exercise. Breeders’ techniques and the general human experience (as I have noted previously) underpin its validity. To discover socio-genetic ‘Laws’ the threshold ought to be much higher.

Reading carefully what I penned might help as well. When I noted ‘..mutually indiscernible absence’, your not caring about a commenter’s POV inter alia, is understood. Wow! Just reading the Contents and respective authors is enough to make one gag. Thanks for the link (I’ll stock up on Rolaids before reading it).

Kenneth M. Pollack’s highly regarded ‘The Threatening Storm: The Case for Invading Iraq’ (published 18 Sep 2001 -eight days after 9/11) was instrumental in selling war:

“Assembling a coalition would be infinitely easier if the United States could point to a smoking gun with Iraqi fingerprints on it — some new Iraqi outrage that would serve to galvanize international opinion and create a pretext for invasion. Saddam’s pursuit of nuclear weapons is the real reason for invading, but because estimates vary widely on how long it will take for Iraq to do so, and because some countries simply assert Iraq is not doing so and dismiss all of the evidence to the contrary, that may not appear to be an imminent enough threat to justify the march to war, especially for those countries (such as France, Russia, and Turkey) which do not want to see Saddam overthrown.”

No doubt Feith and Wumser in the Office of Special Plans took this to heart (“Within a very short period of time, they began to find links that nobody else had previously understood or recorded in a useful way” – Richard Perle, PBS Frontline Oct 2003). Niger yellowcake, Al Qaeda ties, aluminum tubes, unmanned drones, mobile bio-labs, plagiarized studies, and “smoking gun in the form of mushroom cloud” followed. All were needed to create “outrage” to sell invasion.

This book, and the invasion it helped engender, became illegal when it’s claims (WMD, etc) failed to materialize post invasion. It can not, and should not, so easily be excused as `faulty’ intelligence. It was then (and remains) an invitation to aggressive war.

“Any resort to war – to any kind of war – is a resort to means that are inherently criminal. War inevitably is a course of killings, assaults, deprivations of liberty, and destruction of property. An honestly defensive war is, of course, legal, and saves those conducting it from criminality. But inherently criminal acts cannot be defended by showing that those who committed them were engaged in a war, when war itself is illegal.”

-Justice Robert H. Jackson; Nüremberg 1945

Neocons love to demonize ‘appeasement’ and the 1938 Munich Agreement. I wish they were as fond of quoting the Nüremburg indictments (especially the first two):
    1. Conspiracy for a crime against peace;
    2. Planning, initiating and waging wars of aggression;

You already have seen Iranian orbital launches.

Iran is a separate and unique case:

    1. It does have antiquity which is not Muslim. Zoroastrians, however limited in numbers, have a significant presence in Iranian academe (as one of several important fields);
    2. There is a significant, still alive, secular tradition. After all, the culture in which Omar Khayyam is worshiped as a national treasure (and I can argue that there is very little Islam, if any, in Rubaiyat) does have some uniquely non-Islamic twist;
    3. In general, among Ummah, Iran is the most developed nation. It is also the only Ummah’s nation which has the largest pool of unemployed young engineers, many of whom, actually studied in Russia (as an example).

Having said all that, I would be very cautious when calling, as you mentioned, Iran’s “space program” indigenous–it is a direct “trickle down” result of the vast pool of missile technologies floating around in both commercial and military markets. It is to the Iranian credit that they were able to adapt and develop those technologies but most of their hardware is a derivative of Chinese or North Korean (and, of course, Russian) concepts. Still, good for them.

P.S. Calling an Iranian, as many “westerners” do by mistake, an Arab can have a very unpleasant response.

What would be Your explanation to “how this happened and why it will stay this way for awhile?”

You asked a billion dollar question. Let’s put it this way (since I have neither time nor energy to write an extensive thesis on the issue)–I will address several key (among very many others) issues:

    1. As this very same Robert Reilly states, and I will subscribe to his every word in this respect, the process of DE-Hellenization of the “Western” civilization in general, and US in particular, is already past the point of no return;
    2. “Western” so called elites in general are corrupt, incompetent and traitorous;
    3. US is past the point of no return as a nation, in fact, as of now, the US is antithesis to the nationhood. Hence, the field of the most outrageous and suicidal post-modern ideologies;
    4. Learning the REAL history of the 20th Century and not living in a parallel universe could have helped–but there is also, as of now, no hope for that.
    5. Read Phil Giraldi’s superb piece Old Testament Armed Forces.
    6. Anglo sphere and its elites are NOT conditioned by war (try selling Holocaust to Russian, the way it is done in US);
    7. Read Correlli Barnett’s masterpiece “The Collapse Of British Power”.

“This swift decline in British vigor at home and a failure to exploit the empire were not owing to some inevitable senescent process of history….That cause was a political doctrine….The doctrine was liberalism, which criticized and finally demolished the traditional conception of nation-state as a collective organism, a community; and asserted instead the primacy of the individual. According to liberal thinking a nation was no more than so many human atoms who happened to live under the same set of laws”. (c)

Barnett, The Collapse Of British Power, William Morrow & Co. Inc. 1972, page 91.

In conclusion, each point I posted is a huge field of study. I hope this will help. And yes, US does NOT have viable NON-liberal, non-free trade fundamentalist “elites”. None, zilch, nada, even if to consider Pat Buchanan and a fringe pool of true American nationalists.

Acknowledged contributors to that strategy were the ubiquitous Dennis Ross and Ashton Carter. Michele Flournoy, one of the directors of CNAS, had been offered Chuck Hagel’s position when he, er, resigned. She declined and Carter took the slot.

    2. Brent Scowcroft has top billing on the Aspen paper. He was also prominent among those who advised George H W Bush to wage war to “liberate” Kuwait in 1990-1991. G H W Bush biographer Jeff Engel discusses his role, and the thinking behind the decision to go to war, here: http://www.c-span.org/video/?310832-1/book-discussion-desert-reflections-gulf-war

    3. Scowcroft and Zbigniew Brzezinski are close colleagues and backstop each the other’s policy prescriptions — for example, see here http://www.c-span.org/video/?323887-1/hearing-national-security-threats

What a tangled web we weave
When first we practice to deceive

ON THE OTHER side of the ledger, Gareth Porter has written with some pessimism of the deeply rooted systemic nature of the corrupt foreign policy establishment. He suggested that view in a question he asked at the American Conservative conference on Realism and Restraint in Foreign Policy —

    @ 1 hr 01 min

According to liberal thinking a nation was no more than so many human atoms who happened to live under the same set of laws”
It is interesting that the idea of a humanity (and a planet) as a unified whole (as an organism) has becoming en vogue in popular culture, whether as a modern-day paraphrase of Feodorov’s cosmizm as singularity or as gradual accumulation of knowledge about planetary homeostasis. Corollary to this development, popular philosophers like Bruce Damer actually see the dissolution of an old paradigm of employment as beneficial for the young minds and world; the explosion of possibilities for self-education might eventually create a counterweight to the suicidal trend set up by the “corrupt, incompetent, and traitorous” pseudo-elites.
As a footnote: the Renaissance’ (re)discovery that “of all things the measure is Man” is applicable to all human beings cannot be overvalued; we owe too much to the Copernican revolution. The cancerous irrationality of the current world order based on negation of the human value, including the complete disregard towards the future generations.

Here is an interesting perspective on the US/RF conflict in Ukraine, which suggests that the conflict is more than just a pernicious irritant targeting RF (for the expense of ordinary Ukrainians) but rather a long-shot US policy of preventing a pan-Eurasian economic integration.

    http://www.tomdispatch.com/post/176072/tomgram%3A_pepe_escobar%2C_the_new_great_game_between_china_and_the_u.s./#more

“On one side are the mega-economic pacts being touted by Washington — the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership — that would split Eurasia in two. On the other, there is the urge for a new pan-Eurasian integration program that would be focused on China, and feature Russia, Kazakhstan, Iran, and India as major players. Last May, Russia and China closed a deal to coordinate the Russian-led Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) with new Silk Road projects. As part of their developing strategic partnership, Russia is already China’s number one oil supplier.
With Ukraine’s fate still in the balance, there is, at present, little room for the sort of serious business dialogue between the European Union (EU) and the EEU that might someday fuse Europe and Russia into the Chinese vision of full-scale, continent-wide Eurasian integration.”
The US are in their role du jour, performing “divide and rule” by all means possible.

I actually dealt with that hypothesis in the article, but nobody here seems to have clicked on that link. In short, there is no evidence that humans went through an aquatic phase over the past 60,000 years (Out of Africa) or even the past half a million years (multiregional)

He omitted any reference to the link I left…

    Hi Custer,

they shoot white men (and unarmed teenage boys) too. Is Deven Guilford a household name like the thug Michael Brown? When whites are shot by the police or by non-white, the crimes are always hushed up, aren’t they Custer?

or this guy with an expired inspection sticker

he was tortured relentlessly before being murdered in cold blood, but where is the screeching and rioting?

I’ll let you in on another little known secret. Young black men are more criminal and vilent than other groups, so when thugs like Michael Brown are shot by police, they’re behavior 15 minutes before hand is a tell. But that of course doesn’t negate the evidence that Freddie Gray seems to have been murdered by cops, (something all too common these days regardless of race hysteria) but the fact that the main cop responsible is also black sort of ruins the narrative, huh Custer?

Did whites as a group commit wrongs and atrocities against non-whites in the past?

Duh. But that’s what everyone was doing in the day. Amerindians raided each other. Scalping was not introduced by the white man, he just took it up when he saw how the locals did things.

Author and historian Mark van de Logt wrote: “Although military historians tend to reserve the concept of “total war” for conflicts between modern industrial nations, the term nevertheless most closely approaches the state of affairs between the Pawnees and the Sioux and Cheyennes. Noncombatants were legitimate targets. Indeed, the taking of a scalp of a woman or child was considered honorable because it signified that the scalp taker had dared to enter the very heart of the enemy’s territory.”[12]

Scalping Knife and Sheath, probably Sioux, early 19th century, Brooklyn Museum
Most[citation needed] tribes of Native Americans practiced scalping, in some instances up until the end of the 19th century. Of the approximately 500 bodies at the Crow Creek massacre site, 90 percent of the skulls show evidence of scalping. The event took place circa 1325 CE.[13]

The white and Jewish slave traders that bought slaves from Africans were buying those slaves from other blacks who had captured them in raids. Even today slavery is practiced on the Dark Continent.

There were crimes and atrocities galore in the past. The whites genocided the Amerindians in an historic crime and a sin on our species. The Nazis persecuted Jews and others. The Jewish Bolshevik communists were singularly sadistic in their genocidal hatred of Germans and Kulaks and others. Turks and Armenians.. so many others.

Lots of horrors and crimes and atrocities to go around.

But I’m interested in today. In the post-Nuremburg Trial world, where today we’re supposed to repudiate the murderous and genocidal racism of the past. And so when I condemn what’s going on in Palestine today, it’s because they should know better.

We’re not supposed to act like that anymore. We hung the Nazis and the human race was supposed to learn a lesson from all of that. For some people the lesson of the evils of genocide were just that we, the human race were genociding the wrong people, and that what we need to do is genocide white people (with massive non-white immigration) because it is them that are evil! I just don’t see it that way, thankyouverymuch. ; )

You should quit doing Bibi favors and take your tired act out of here

Between the parallel lines write these words: Self-Image, Fear and Ego.

Above the parallel lines is a field where you write two words: Unseen Reality.

All European cultural based mentality (regardless of race, religion or creed) is trained from infancy or one could say ‘shaped’ to become imprisoned below the horizon of the parallel lines. Theirs’ is a complex matrix of illusion consisting of culturally inculcated denial founded on a deceit constructed in false self-image. Rurik. You probably need therapy to understand you’re gay and then you can untangle your cultural bile. I understand it is a difficult road for you, with your sincere ethnocentric bias but this essay points to your mentioned role model Da Vinci and might help you get started:

Christian civilization is a civilization of inculcated homosexuality .. dark, angry and insecure. It is a civilization in denial. It is a civilization of theologically and culturally practiced misogyny. Raphael’s paradox points to the Christian homosexual’s necessary maintenance of denial (through hypocrisy) to succeed in this environment and how the exception of living true to oneself as an unabashed heterosexual, one might say ‘a pagan’, would require a certain stealth and luck, or at the least, a clever balancing act, to survive. Raphael’s paradox reflects these complications…

    http://ronaldthomaswest.com/2015/04/16/raphaels-paradox/

    I don’t recommend Marcus Bachmann…

Christian civilization is a civilization of inculcated homosexuality .. dark, angry and insecure. It is a civilization in denial. It is a civilization of theologically and culturally practiced misogyny.

let’s see now.. Europeans and their culture are whacked and fundamentally flawed and presumably, of course evil. Now homosexuals and Christianity, (apparently the same thing) also are in denial of their misogyny.

clearly there are personalities here that would rather I just shut up. But I don’t think their angst is due to anything I’ve said being wrong, rather the contrary I suppose. They didn’t put that frail, 87 year old German women in prison for saying things that were ridiculous.

it’s when the official narratives are challenged that people become angry. They’ve come to enjoy a vested interest in those narratives, and they’re often lucrative- as in the shoah racket. How many billions has that little blood libel earned them? They’d be fools to just sit by idly as that cash cow is flayed open and the truth becomes widely known.

I’ll stop writing here when Ron Unz sends me a message asking me to stop. Otherwise, it’s fun to poke holes in people’s ignorance and sacred cows. My religion is the truth, come what may.

Rurik, remember the Trayvon vs Zimmerman incident?

It kind of initiated this concerted media frenzy in zamerica. I know there have been other cases before but the Trayvon affair kick-started a new ‘evil racist whites hunt down poor black folks” theme, which has been ongoing non stop since then.

The funny thing is that Zimmerman is a mixed race individual, a mix of euro/indian/black. Father is white & mother is a mixed race peruvian.
Had the father been the ‘hispanic’ one, even if white(there r hispanics who r white, for instance, a majority of cuban americans) and this guy had been a George ‘Lopez’ instead, this whole thing woulda been local news. But as George has a germanic sounding surname and looks moderately white, the media thought he was white and started the man’s character assassination, even before they had all the facts on what had truly transpired between him and Trayvon.
Notice that when the media was made aware of teh fact George was not really white, it continued pushing this ridiculous angle, saying he was a white hispanic.
There is zero evidence that George acted on ‘racism’, yet this is how the media depicted it all along.
As it turned out, Trayvon was not all that innocent and seems to have started the altercation which led to his death.

Since that incident, the media has given us so much more, invariably pretty dubious cases, as in with the not so ‘gentle’ giant M.Brown.

Interestingly, the media in Zamerica, largely owned by the chosen ones, loves to incite racial tensions in the the US and demonize white people.
The same media that covers up the very real hyper racism of Jews in Israel(an artificial entity created through terror and ethnic cleansing) against the native population.

That should tell us all we need to know about how much the media barons in zamerica care about ‘racism’.

    (2) What you are depositing here, is strictly on an anonymous basis, so you incur no cost for your actions – which is precisely why I called it for what it is : self-righteous piffle. (btw the expression you keep repeating as ‘Ad Homonym’ is new to me. It could be a Freudian slip on your part, but any Ad Hominem, directed to you was mild in comparison to the bile you’ve been ejecting.

    (3) You could marinade yourself with greater satisfaction at other fora (such as codoh) that specialise in Holocaust denialism, but your actions here are distractive and grating in the context of topics being discussed.

    (4) You unfailingly launch into lengthy, inappropriate and irrelevant screeds when faced with straightforward rebuttals. As when I asked you to objectively establish your claim that ‘Jews own the Fed’. I gave you the preferential share information and the distribution of member bank ownership. So, here is a insight for you to internalise: its a numbers based question, if you cannot refute it with evidence to the contrary, then have the grace to accept your mistake (and don’t side-step the issue and launch into another irrelevancy). So therefore, I have attempted to ‘educate and edify’ as you requested, but it has largely fallen on deaf ears.

    yes they do

what they learned from the Holocaust wasn’t that genocide is wrong, but just that it was the wrong people being genocided

you can tell how much they care about the genocide of white folks by how many movies are made of the Holodomor (which comes up on my computer as an unknown word)

or how many movies they’re going to make of the racial genocide in Zimbabwe

often it isn’t so much what they say that gives you a window into their soul, but what they don’t say

what’s the matter Torquemada, frustrated that I too can’t be hauled off to prison like that elderly German lady for speaking the truth?

If you have a problem with what I said, then what is that was wrong? But if it’s just anger at my having said it, then stew in your frustrations. Because the truth will out, regardless of how much you might like to see harm come to those who speak it. ; )

Ad Homonym’ is new to me.

a little play on words. I can have my fun can’t I?

You could marinade yourself with greater satisfaction at other fora (such as codoh) that specialise in Holocaust denialism, but your actions here are distractive and grating in the context of topics being discussed.

you just want to be able to censor the discussions Sam and pick which topics can be discussed. Admit it. It’s obvious! You don’t want people to make rational arguments (the only kind you’re afraid of) because you don’t like where they’d lead to. You’re no different than the religious people who don’t like me pointing out some of the more absurd dictates of their dogmas. Holocaustianity is no different. You want to see people punished for questioning something that you want them to be force-fed and then crucified if they waver in their blind fealty. It’s all so painfully obvious! It is just like a modern day Torquemada

You unfailingly launch into lengthy, inappropriate and irrelevant screeds

occasionally I get positive feedback from others who clearly are amused at some of my rants. So there ! ; )

‘Jews own the Fed’. I gave you the preferential share information and the distribution of member bank ownership.

    yea, yea, yea

I know how that works. If it’s Rothschild that owns the “Russian oligarchs’ then show me the proof!

It’s all very carefully convoluted by ”member banks’ and stooges on the board of directors and blah, blah. It’d be the same thing as me saying that Jews own and control Goldman Sachs, (they do ; ), but I’m sure there’s plenty of gentiles enough to throw up a smoke screen. They don’t want things too obvious now do they?

I’ll leave it to the reader to decide if Jews have a disproportionate influence in our banking and international banking like the IMF and World Bank and Wall Street and Goldman Sachs and the Fed. Just like they can make up their own minds is the statement ‘Jews own and control Hollywood’ is valid. I’m sure you could point to gobs of gentiles and accuse me of a blood libel, but there again, we’ll just have to leave it to the reader, since we don’t agree on this one particular point. ; )

    (1) No one anointed me as the keeper of standards. I voice my sentiments just as anyone else here.

    (2) Anonymity it something that many use as a protection to vociferously air their views, which can be really offensive to others. Yet I have never said that they cannot do so. My position is a simple one, if I find something offensive, I don’t hold back unless the matter is trivial. Also you must know that there are many organisations that do know who you are in spite of ‘blog identities’. It is a matter of technoology. It is a fact of life today.

    (3) I have no social media accounts (disallowed by my company and not encouraged by the industry in which we work). People who know me personally are either amused or disturbed by my positions here. It matters not. Additionally I am not about to invite someone called ‘anonymous’ to my home for afternoon tea, seeing especially as they choose to hide their comment history. So I won’t supply you with my email; I hope you understand, ‘O defender of the Censored and Slippery’. Again, the point is, shout as much as you want, but be prepared to take it as you dole it out.

    (4) ‘Sucking up’ to Phil Giraldi or Ron Unz: Well as it happens, if I were to suck up to anyone I would choose people like them who are well-known publicly but do not hesitate to air their honest views, which are oftentimes controversial.

‘Russia has many problems, but is stronger and more united under Putin than it has been in a long time. Russia will eventually defeat the Islamists and lead the restoration of Western societies’.

Since I am both Russian and American, and reside interchangeably in both these countries, as well as have BS in Economics and a graduate degree, let me share with you my thoughts on the subject of “Russia’s many problems”.
Whatever problems God presents the peoples of Russia/USSR/Russian Federation with, the people of Russia will overcome them with flying colors, as they always had. For more than a thousand years, they lived, for the most part, with an eye on the life everlasting, putting the spiritual ahead of material and secular. What you, as a Westerner, may deem as problems [of Russia] they may not see as problems at all. What you as a (well meaning) Westerner think the Russian people must want or need, most often is not what they actually do. Because the priorities are different of the spiritual and of the secular-focused lifestyles.
Preserving their homeland, their culture, faith, moral values and passing these onto the next generations – their children – this is their number one priority, and any wealth and comforts in this life are secondary to it. To acquire material, economic wealth, Russia needs peace (as any nation does). But it never had peace for long. The lands and waters of the Russian people, their natural resources were subject of envy and insatiable gluttony of the outsiders during all of its long history.
It would seem that even a half-brain would see that Russia within its borders must be able to offer its people everything they possibly need to live in prosperity both spiritual and economic. What takes away from it is the excruciating costs of military defense and constant bloody interventions. But very very few see it…
Russia will not defeat islamists, because it is not and never will fight Islam: it is one of Russia’s major faiths together with the Orthodox Cristianity and Judaism. Russia is defending itself from the terrorists. Daesh, ISIS and other terrorist organisations in the Middle-East are an immidiate and direct threat to the people of Russia. And have no dreams about it, folks, Russia will never again get involved into any war saving any nation’s sovereignty, except for its own. The people of Russia no longer have any illusions on account of that. Any state that wants to be sovereign has to earn it with its own blood – only then it will be cherished and protected, but what comes easy, is easily lost.
