The dark horse candidate of the 2020 Democratic primary is entrepreneur Andrew Yang, who just qualified for the first round of debates by attracting over 65,000 unique donors. [Andrew Yang qualifies for first DNC debate with 65,000 unique donors, by Orion Rummler, Axios, March 12, 2019] Yang is a businessman who has worked in several fields, but was best known for founding Venture for America, which helps college graduates become entrepreneurs. However, he is now gaining recognition for his signature campaign promise—$1,000 a month for every American.

ORDER IT NOW

Yang promises a universal entitlement, not dependent on income, that he calls a “freedom dividend.” To be funded through a value added tax, Yang claims that it would reduce the strain on “health care, incarceration, homeless services, and the like” and actually save billions of dollars. Yang also notes that “current welfare and social program beneficiaries would be given a choice between their current benefits or $1,000 cash unconditionally.”

As Yang himself notes, this is not a new idea, nor one particularly tied to the Left. Indeed, it’s been proposed by several prominent libertarians because it would replace the far more inefficient welfare system. Charles Murray called for this policy in 2016. [A guaranteed income for every American, AEI, June 3, 2016] Milton Friedman suggested a similar policy in a 1968 interview with William F. Buckley, though Friedman called it a “negative income tax.”

He rejected arguments that it would cause indolence. F.A. Hayek also supported such a policy; he essentially took it for granted. [Friedrich Hayek supported a guaranteed minimum income, by James Kwak, Medium, July 20, 2015]

It’s also been proposed by many nationalists, including, well, me. At the January 2013 VDARE.com Webinar, I called for a “straight-up minimum income for citizens only” among other policies that would build a new nationalist majority and deconstruct Leftist power. I’ve retained that belief ever since and argued for it here for years.

However, I’ve also made the argument that it only works if it is for citizens only and is combined with a restrictive immigration policy. As I previously argued in a piece attacking Jacobin’s disingenuous complaints about the “reserve army of the unemployed,” you simply can’t support high wages, workers’ rights, and a universal basic income while still demanding mass immigration.

Yang is justifying the need for such a program because of automation. Again, VDARE.com has been exploring how automation may necessitate such a program for many years. Yang also discussed this problem on Tucker Carlson’s show, which alone shows he is more open to real discussion than many progressive activists.

Yang is also directly addressing the crises that the Trump Administration has seemly forgotten. Unlike Donald Trump himself, with his endless boasting about “low black and Hispanic unemployment,” Yang has directly spoken about the demographic collapse of white people because of “low birth rates and white men dying from substance abuse and suicide.”

Though even the viciously anti-white Dylan Matthews called the tweet “innocuous,” there is little doubt if President Trump said it would be called racist. [Andrew Yang, the 2020 long-shot candidate running on a universal basic income, explained, Vox, March 11, 2019]

Significantly, President Trump himself has never once specifically recognized the plight of white Americans.

Of course, Yang has foolish, even flippant policies on other issues. He wants to make Puerto Rico a state. He supports a path to citizenship for illegal aliens, albeit with an 18-year waiting period and combined with pledges to secure the border and deport illegals who don’t enroll in the citizenship program. He wants to create a massive bureaucratic system to track gun owners, restrict gun ownership, and require various “training” programs for licenses. He wants to subsidize local journalists with taxpayer dollars, which in practice would mean just paying Leftist activists to dox people in their communities.

(Though as some have pointed out, with a thousand dollars a month no matter what, right-wingers wouldn’t have to worry as much about being targeted by journofa).

Indeed, journalists, hall monitors that they are, have recognized that President Trump’s online supporters are flocking to Yang, bringing him a powerful weapon in the meme wars. (Sample meme at right.) And because many of these online activists are “far right” by Main Stream Media standards, or at least Politically Incorrect, there is much hand-waving and wrist-flapping about the need for Yang to decry “white nationalists.” So of course, the candidate has dutifully done so, claiming “racism and white nationalism [are] a threat to the core ideals of what it means to be an American”. [Presidential candidate Andrew Yang has a meme problem, by Russell Brandom, The Verge, March 9, 2019]

But what does it mean to be an American? As more and more of American history is described as racist, and even national symbols and the national anthem are targets for protest, “America” certainly doesn’t seem like a real country with a real identity. Increasingly, “America” resembles a continent-sized shopping mall, with nothing holding together the warring tribes that occupy it except money.

President Trump, of course, was elected because many people thought he could reverse this process, especially by limiting mass immigration and taking strong action in the culture wars, for example by promoting official English. Yet in recent weeks, he has repeatedly endorsed more legal immigration. Rather than fighting, the president is content to brag about the economy and whine about unfair press coverage and investigations. He already seems like a lame duck.

The worst part of all of this is that President Trump was elected as a response not just to the Left, but to the failed Conservative Establishment. During the 2016 campaign, President Trump specifically pledged to protect entitlements, decried foreign wars, and argued for a massive infrastructure plan. However, once in office, his main legislative accomplishment is a tax cut any other Republican president would have pushed. Similarly, his latest budget contains the kinds of entitlement cuts that are guaranteed to provoke Democrat attack ads. [Trump said he wouldn’t cut Medicaid, Social Security, and Medicare. His 2020 budget cuts all 3, by Tara Golshan, Vox, March 12, 2019] And the president has already backed down on withdrawing all troops from Syria, never mind Afghanistan.

Conservatism Inc., having learned nothing from candidate Donald Trump’s scorched-earth path to the Republican nomination, now embraces Trump as a man but ignores his campaign message. Instead, the conservative movement is still promoting the same tired slogans about “free markets” even as they have appear to have lost an entire generation to socialism. The most iconic moment was Charlie Kirk, head of the free market activist group Turning Point USA, desperately trying to tell his followers not to cheer for Tucker Carlson because Carlson had suggested a nation should be treated like a family, not simply a marketplace.

President Trump himself is now trying to talk like a fiscal conservative [Exclusive—Donald Trump: ‘Seductive’ Socialism Would Send Country ‘Down The Tubes’ In a Decade Or Less, by Alexander Marlow, Matt Boyle, Amanda House, and Charlie Spierling, Breitbart, March 11, 2019]. Such a pose is self-discrediting given how the deficit swelled under united Republican control and untold amounts of money are seemingly still available for foreign aid to Israel, regime change in Iran and Venezuela, and feminist programs abroad to make favorite daughter Ivanka Trump feel important. [Trump budget plans to give $100 million to program for women that Ivanka launched, by Nathalie Baptiste, Mother Jones, March 9, 2019]

Thus, especially because of his cowardice on immigration, many of President Trump’s most fervent online supporters have turned on him in recent weeks. And the embrace of Yang seems to come out of a great place of despair, a sense that the country really is beyond saving.

Yang has Leftist policies on many issues, but many disillusioned Trump supporters feel like those policies are coming anyway. If America is just an economy, and if everyone in the world is a simply an American-in-waiting, white Americans might as well get something out of this System before the bones are picked clean.

National Reviews Theodore Kupfer just claimed the main importance of Yang’s candidacy is that it will prove meme-makers ability to affect the vote count “has been overstated” [Rise of the pink hats, March 12, 2019]. Time will tell, but it is ominous for Trump that many of the more creative and dedicated people who formed his vanguard are giving up on him.

Ineligible for Affirmative Action, targeted by blisteringly hostile media for defunding and deplatforming, and utterly unrepresented by Conservatism Inc., to these people a thousand dollars a month seems like something more tangible than anything President Trump has offered.

If you are doomed, despite your best efforts, to watch the destruction of your country and civilization, you might as well be paid to do it.

This is very well said. The failure of Trump on so many levels has resulted in a tremendous sense of despair. WE expected nothing from the ubiquitous Ryans and the Bushes of the world. But Trump made a lot of promises we expected him to keep.

His failures have made it all too clear that there is no political solution to the problems that we now face. The rot at the heart of the Republic is so deep that cure seems impossible.

That a universal basic income would cause indolence isn’t even debatable. We already have plenty of evidence that it does. You just need to look at the problems on the Indian reservations or the lengths current welfare recipients will go to fund their vices with government handouts like food stamps. People need meaningful work.

The right only has itself to blame for feeling disillusioned and hopeless. Trump is only one man and could never have changed the system. In fact, democracy is designed precisely to elected mainstream centrists that won’t change the system. Democracy with checks and balances makes that all but impossible.

The left has managed to change the culture through a lot of relentless hard work, organization, ideological manipulation, and persecuting their opponents over decades. The right does not want to do that. They want to shitpost, moan in comment sections, indulge in conspiracy theories, wait for “the collapse”, and other useless things. They can’t organize worth a damn, they can’t refrain from offending people or even each other, they have poor social and verbal skills. That’s why the left keeps winning cultural wars.

We need to get serious about the drug epidemic, shutting down the CIA and Jewish organized crime would do wonders, stop Big Pharma from pushing all these addictive zombie drugs, legalize cannabis and help people who can’t afford treatment get into some kind of program. The list is long, the rot is deep.

Its getting bad, I live in rural GA., we have homeless camps popping up here now, never had this before 08-09, see needles everywhere. It just keeps getting worse, you know the CIA, big money interests are involved by the amount of dope, its everywhere, all these little communities are better supplied with dope than a Wal-mart with cheap Chinese junk. I wouldn’t be surprised if Wal-mart was moving and distributing the dope with the way it is nowdays. Crazy. No way we should have had this “war on drugs” for 30 years now and the problem only get much worse, that tells me the ones that are supposed to be fighting the war are the ones bring in the dope. This isn’t something “the wall” will fix. Not a left or right partisan issue.

I don’t know much about Yang, sounds like a decent proposal to get people back on their feet, but we need much more than just $1000 a month to fix this country. Yep. I would add that the elephant in the room is Yang, AOC, etc. are hijacking the Libertarian Platform of a base income/social services for all, Green economy of leisure, etc. first developed by I think the most influential figure of our time, Michael Gilson De Lemos (called ‘MG’) and spread by his Libertarian International via their Operation Democracy and Operation Dignity.

The difference is the Libertarians view taxation/regulation as morally disgusting theft/mental disturbance and fund via voluntary endowments or reasonable fees vs. the far-left hijackers with their usual trick of taking libertarian innovations and using them as an excuse to tax and regulate even more (as they’re trying to do with libertarian LBGT+, civil rights, direct democracy, internet, etc.). They’re horrified at the possibility the public will adopt the ‘Gilson Untax’ and not some crazy VAT or tax-the-billionaires-like-Venezuela.

MG also views these endowments as the eventual source of moral funding of government services. He conceived and advised the Alaska Fund and several so-called ‘sovereign funds’ abroad as a pilot.

What troubles me is a few years ago you searched ‘Basic Income’ or ‘Green’ on GOOGLE and MG’s name and ‘libertarianism’ got a million hits. Now they barely register. The US Libertarian Party is being infiltrated by socialists and extreme conservatives trying to steer it away from discussing basic income, anti-tax, and Green issues. There is a behind-the-scenes war here and academics, the center-right and alternative media need to wake up.

Even though I like Bernie and many of his policies, I believe that a UBI is much more realistic than certain proposals such as a “job guarantee.” The only way to ensure everyone who wants a job can get one is if the government creates myriad make-work positions, which would replace one problem – a lack of employment – with another (degrading, soul-destroying jobs).

Regardless of how Yang does, I hope that he makes a UBI go mainstream.

The problem is, a guaranteed income won’t replace the current welfare network — it’ll just wind up being in addition to welfare, because welfare has become so deeply institutionalized that its recipients feel entitled to it can’t imagine life without it. And of course the government bureaucracies that administer the welfare state will dig in to prevent any change, however rational. We’ll keep applying patches to the current welfare system.

Maybe when it collapses under its own weight there will be an opportunity to fix things.

Health care is a racket because the FDA rules and patent and copyright laws made it possible.

The problem the USA represents to most Americans, is that those in charge of the USA have adopted Economic Zionism and one result has been that persons are divided into one of three three layers.

    Layer the
1 (accredited few) Private corporate wealth with access to wall street own world class monopolies
2 (527 elected) Make rules, train, direct the military, secure the separation of Layer 1 from Layer 3
3 (340 million) Deplorable , the slaves that do the work and pay the bills that support layer 1.

EZ, is a system of economics that teaches as an input: competition must be destroyed, and as an output monopoly power must not only be instituted that produce outrageous profits but it must also be vested in the private ownership of the accredited few.

EZ dictates that wealth or resources in the hands or control of others is competition of the type that must be eliminated. It is the responsibility of the state controlled by the accredited) to be sure only those vested with monopoly powers be permitted to accumulate wealth.

How does EZ work? It eliminates competition to produce its product “monopoly power” and is only successful if that monopoly power is transferred only to the accredited few !

EZ does not foster competition, it does not tolerate competition, it does not play by moral based rules; its economic object is to produce and secure exclusive unilateral monopoly power (playing fair is not in conformity with EZ). Monopoly is accomplished by targeting and eliminating all competition of any sort.

Competition is the enemy, it must be eliminated = Economic Zionism
Laws must sort those with private monopoly, ownership, power, and wealth from the deplorables
military:police power<=weapons: used to destroy competition & keep domestic peace
private sector manufacturing and businesses to be owned only by the accredited few.
education to train deplorable for a life of work in service to the accredited few, not to educate

Often armed rule-making (nation states) structures (ARMS) are seen as tools that can promote the economy, secure the wealth, and maintain the privilege for the few, but really the secret of such a tool is to be found in the workings of something like the feudal system. The king (modernly the state) hands control of large segments of the economy of the kingdom to a select accredited few. In exchange for the economic monopoly, the recipient raises and feeds armies, to protect the king(state), and feeds and trains soldiers capable to staff the army in accord to the kings(states) needs. The feudal lord (recipient) uses his or her vassals to make a profit by forcing his vassals to produce food and clothing(sheep) to feed and cloth the kingdom.

  38. Yang’s is a winning proposition. Freed from the worries of survival-seeking, many conservative-leaning people will get the time to enrich themselves culturally, organize themselves, and engage in political activism. These are precisely the things which the conservative field lacks; this vacuum of representativity allowed an opportunist like Trump to ascend to power. I am not an American, but in Brazil there is roughly the same phenomenon. The only thing that conservatives will have to sacrifice in the process is their obsession with economic liberalism or libertarianism.

One who dies not work, one does not eat. This is socialism including of course ownership of the means of production and resources by state to use for common good. I see nothing of this in any capitalistic country including USA or Europe. All those freebies are just handouts to buy safety. Pretty good comment there, but what’s the horseshit about the constitution? Isn’t it obvious by now that it essentially established welfare for the ruling classes? All comforting myths about the constitution aside, the government’s role has always been to line the pockets of our masters.

Look into it and you’ll be surprised. You quote Mencken a lot; you’d love Nock.

The Constitution looked fairly good on paper, but it was not a popular document; people were suspicious of it, and suspicious of the enabling legislation that was being erected upon it. There was some ground for this. The Constitution had been laid down under unacceptable auspices; its history had been that of a coup d’état.

It had been drafted, in the first place, by men representing special economic interests. Four-fifths of them were public creditors, one-third were land speculators, and one-fifth represented interests in shipping, manufacturing, and merchandising. Most of them were lawyers. Not one of them represented the interest of production — Vilescit origine tali. (the dice were loaded from the start)

Yangism the realization that it cannot”- Paraphrasing Richard Spencer

does not mean that Mr. Fitzpatrick is giving up. If so, he should resign from VDare. Again, I hope this article is meant just to point out the alt-right’s dive headlong into Socialism – “if you can’t beat ’em, join em” – is that what this is about?

Listen, per Jason Liu above, no you can’t vote your way out of this. Donald Trump let us down as President, whether via stupidity or cowardice, I don’t know, and it doesn’t matter. Voting every 2 years, even going to rallies, even wearing MAGA hats* is not gonna cut it. The alt-right needs to realize that patriotic Americans are going to have to leave their Bread & Circuses for a while, get off their asses, and ACT.

Voting in Socialism is not helpful at all. You can have a big majority of white people and end up with the 70-year-long misery of Soviet Russia. Yes, they were white people. No, it wasn’t a good time.

    On March 8 it says:

    What is event E-291?

It looks to me like this is the smoking gun for all these false flag “terrorist” events and syncronized MSM fake news blitzes.

Here is my comment on these daily agendas from another thread:

Interesting how they appear to have a “kiosk” installed on their computer that also includes detailed instruction on using the VPN. Someone probably screwed up and didn’t use the VPN and thats how the documents leaked out.

This “kiosk” must be some kind of Hasbara disinformation dashboard. Clearly, they have weaponized trolling. Each Hasbara agent seems to have a number, and they are organized into teams of some higher group. “Sockpuppet” is the one mentioned. They probably have their secret hasbara number tattooed on their forearm to help them remember their suffering during the holocaust.

I can believe that these trolls are organized like a British Public School, or even a Hogwarts. Each of the different “Houses”, Sockpuppets house in this case, are given daily assignments and compete against each other to see who can make the biggest ass of the stupid goyim. Then each Hasbara House gets points that ultimately would lead to bonus, promotion and prestige.

Jews have been waging a secret war against goyim for centuries. This is just one small corner of the battle raging right now.

Apparently there’s no way to stop them and if you think they were attracted to the U.S. before, wait until they think there’s a grand a month waiting for them. Their extended family/communal living arrangements might mean that a household is taking in $10k a month just for existing.

If Yang were to become president and implement this he would be forced to extend it to absolutely everyone. Of course this would put the decline on amphetamines but that’s for the best anyway.

Elected officials enjoy a lot of immunity from such suits. Try suing the local school board for non-performance of that institution. The courts don’t want that floodgate opened.

Note here that we’ve got some political show trials on display (Manafort, Flynne) that show it IS something the PTB will pull out when it suits them.

I ponder a type of revolution where we start arresting our mendacious “public servants” for official misconduct: arrest Pelosi, Schumer, et al for the damage they’ve done. If the prosecutor won’t press charges, arrest him. If the judge releases them, arrest him. If the police won’t arrest, arrest them. Build a massive detention apparatus and punish them all by process.

Anyone can read the 10 planks of the communist manifesto and see how close we are to being a communist country!

  68. I’m glad that Yang is raising the issue of permanent job loss through automation, but color me skeptical on his UBI proposal. Why? Here are my concerns:

    1. If Yang is doing this to help the poor and working class, then why is he going to finance it with a VAT? A VAT is just another form of sales tax, and sales taxes are the most regressive form of tax in existence. Why not just have a graduated income tax instead, so we can tax the rich and give it to the poor? Oh, I know: that’d be socialism! (Cue scary music …)

    2. Why should a basic income be ‘universal’? Do Bill Gates and Warren Buffett really need the extra thousand bucks a month? Why not just have a basic income floor instead?

    3. I am generally suspicious of Silicon Valley libertarian types hopping on the UBI bandwagon. In many cases, they’re really just proposing that we replace all government programs (Medicare, Social Security, etc.) with this ‘one low easy monthly payment,’ as the appliance ads would say. But would this really benefit the poor and working class? My guess is no. My guess is that it would just end up being yet another government subsidy for big business, for real-estate developers, and for employers who underpay their workforce. Isn’t that what happened to the ‘Earned Income Credit’ years ago? Does anyone here still remember that? Back in the 80s, it was being hailed as a miracle cure for the (then growing) problem of the ‘working poor’; instead, it just ended up shifting some of the cost of paying the working poor from private employers to the taxpayer. They’re still poor! (When I later found out that the whole scheme had first been thought up by Milton Friedman, then it all seemed so predictable in retrospect. They just took Friedman’s idea for a “negative income tax” and renamed it the EIC.)

    4. As some other commenters here have remarked, wouldn’t just dumping a bunch of money on poor people (who have higher than average marginal consumption rates) simply result in landlords raising rents and retailers raising prices? Whenever you have higher effective demand, but the supply remains unchanged, this usually leads to ‘demand-pull’ inflation. What’s Yang’s proposal for avoiding this scenario?

Still, I’m glad we’re at least having this discussion, rather than debating (yet again!) the alleged merits of more taxcuts for the rich. Say what you want about Yang and his ideas, that’s one positive result of his campaign.

  95. @AWM

UBI is intriguing, but Yang’s proposal seems to have some major problems that need worked out. Just to touch on one, I spent many unfortunate years working as a welfare caseworker administering (((means tested))) programs.

People on those programs are generally not too smart, but a single mother with two children probably recognizes that, if given the choice to stay on welfare or take Yang’s $1,000/mo, she would be crazy to take the money. If she is on straight TANF (no one on SSI), her cash income is under $1000, (at least in the state where I worked), but once you add in Food Stamps, housing subsidies, WIC, and esp. Medicaid (free medical), she is ahead of many or most working class families. Plus, the huge welfare bureaucracy would remain intact.

Regarding Milton Friedman’s (((Negative Income Tax))) we already have it and it’s called the Earned Income Credit. It was designed as an offset against welfare, but is now not even counted as income. The same, I fear, would happen to UBI. Just another entitlement on top of all current welfare programs. And his proposal to make Puerto Rico a state is insane!

Violent revolution won when the Colonists separated from Britain, which, given the primitive technology of the time, was too far away to win. It failed when Lincoln had the guns and troops to out man and out kill those who just wanted to peacefully separate.

What happens when Yang and the Dems take away the guns? It will make successful revolution or separation impossible, ushering in the soon to be completed Globalist New World Order. And it may come with the smiling face of Yang and his thousand dollar bribes.

  98. Instead of a new tax, why not clarify what the original bad tax actually is- i.e. a tax on crony capitalism, federal office holders and all income derived from the exploitation of federal privilege for profit?
With all the talk about populism, you would think that there would be a revival of interest in the signature accomplishment of the populist era of post 1896 William Jennings Bryant politics, the 16th Amendment and the revival of the Civil War Income Tax?
Actually, the 16th was passed by the American public because it represented a coalition of Populists, classical liberals of the gold standard, Grover Cleveland constituency, and early Progressives. It was in reaction to the Gilded Age plutocratic Republican administrations. It was popular enough to pass ( how often do Americans vote to tax themselves) not because it was a tax on “the rich” but rather a tax on the crony rich. That is, on federally connected income earned through the exploitation of federal privilege for profit.
With all the talk of various conspiracies, no one wants to discuss the greatest conspiracy of all, the tax that fuels the leviathan federal government? The key to that growth is universal withholding, by which Americans who do not fall within the scope of the tax are coerced into “voluntary compliance “ and “self assessment “ even though the actual withholding laws do not apply to the vast majority of private firms that unwittingly follow them.
The legal meaning of the income tax is discoverable through an educated reading of the tax laws made possible by modern internet search engines. The most successful Tax Honesty figure is Pete Hendrickson, whose analysis of the law and administrative procedures has enabled tens of thousands to receive full refunds of ALL withholdings, State and Federal, including payroll taxes. No Tax Honesty figure had ever succeeded in an attack on payroll taxes. Yet the libertarian/conservative establishment continues to ignore, even vilify Hendrickson’s accomplishments.

Screw this article and this type of propaganda.

Accepting welfare will destroy us like it did Blacks. Make no mistake: this is welfare.

You will become dependent on it. Jews will run it, and therefore will run you even more than they already do.

The Jewish State in the USA will enlarge in power and its enemy will be weaker. It will soften us more than we already are. It will make dependents of middle class families. This is a trick for votes. It it actually would pass, it would graduate from trick to disaster.

Remember how families used to be able to survive on one income? What happened? Women went to work due to communist propaganda, household incomes doubled, and the market prices rose to meet demand. Now families cannot survive on one average income. It is mandatory that both parents work in most cases, to meet expenses.

If most people accept this welfare payment, then prices will rise to the point that it will become impossible for a middle class family to survive without it. Even with a full time middle class job, you will struggle to meet expenses without the payment. Your formerly barely adequate middle class teacher’s income will now be the rough equivalent of 12k less ($1k x 12) when market prices are taken into account.

This payment would make people with good middle class jobs dependent on welfare. Stop being short sighted and greedy. Stop thinking like short time horizon niggers when the Jew or Chinaman throws some Benjamins your way. You will destroy yourselves.

All markets are essentially an auction. All wealth is therefore only relative to how many people have money and how much. When you give the bidders (on housing, food, clothes, cars, consumer goods, etc) more money to bid with, all prices rise. All prices will rise if everyone gets $1,000 per month, just as they did when women started bringing home a second income, essentially nullifying the beneficial financial effect of the payment. But the addiction will remain because you now cannot survive without the payment.

Corporate America benefits because prices rise while salaries remain stagnant in comparison, due to the payment that keeps spending power equal.

If you take the payment, you will never escape it.

Whoever trusts an oriental or other non-White with White interests deserves their doomed fate. They hate you, will trick you, and want to see you gone. Expect lots of glownigger and non-White 4chan looking propaganda promoting this jerkoff’s welfare ploy.

A universal basic income would cause indolence in some, innovation in others. And the indolence will not necessarily be life-long indolence. #

nb i’m not against people promoting whoever they feel is the most accelerationist candidate but UBI isn’t accelerationist.

a simple way of characterizing the root economic problem is the elites have been using mass immigration and off-shoring to turn every full-time $40K job into two part-time $16K jobs i.e. a net drop in demand of $8K.

wages = demand and the elites have been driving wages down and then acting surprised when the economy stagnates due to lack of demand.

UBI is a way of artificially injecting demand into the economy in a way that doesn’t reduce banking mafia profits i.e. by getting it from tax payers or borrowing, so *if* it works it will be anti accelerationist.

if l’autistes need an accelerationist strategy i’d suggest promoting the most anti-white Dem candidates by for example supporting Biden as the “white man’s candidate” – that would be pretty funny.

In fact, the Obama DOJ obstructed justice when they told the FBI not to bring gross negligence charges against Hillary Clinton for having SAPs on her computer. Per Lisa Page’s testimony.

Gross negligence being a weak charge in comparison with the treason charge that any mortal would get (once charge per instance – how many SAPs did she have on her computer?).

Where is the justice? Where is the investigation of the obstructing DOJ members?

This entire game is a barely functioning charade, which is broken because half of the nation knows the nature of its corruption as it continues to go down in front of their eyes.

Half of the nation knows that they are watching the US openly devolve into a Trotskyist Banana Republic in full-view, at the hands of communists that we should have never been bullied into ignoring in the 1950’s and after.

Alaska residents must have lived in the state an entire calendar year before becoming eligible to receive the money.

In Britain (unless it has been recently abolished and I think I would have noticed.) there is a subsidy for the working poor that brings the income of a working person who is not earning enough to live on, up to some level that the government thinks they should be able to live on. The employers have used this simply as a subsidy to business. I don’t see why the same would not happen to Yangs $1k.

    Could you, please, expand on:

….but a single mother with two children probably recognizes that, if given the choice to stay on welfare or take Yang’s $1,000/mo, she would be crazy to take the money. If she is on straight TANF (no one on SSI), her cash income is under $1000, (at least in the state where I worked), but once you add in Food Stamps, housing subsidies, WIC, and esp. Medicaid (free medical), she is ahead of many or most working-class families.

The reason I am asking is simple: the main premise of “change” is based on “poverty” in the USA. We hear about that a lot. Like “millions of Americans live below the poverty line.”. So, true, living in poverty is a powerful stimulus to really confront TPTBs and challenge the paradigm.
    Caveat: true………poverty.

So, my question is really simple:
If a, say, small nucleus family (father, mother, two kids, for example) take advantage, exhaust, use, whatever, all welfare/social help/whatever means and tools at their disposal, will they REALLY live in true poverty?
The type of poverty, for example, which existed in all ….ALL…those countries where masses went for real change?

Bottom line is simple: if the System in USA can provide means to keep masses of people over the REAL poverty line….just forget about any meaningful change.

Nobody will confront the power of the federal government while still able to have a roof over their heads, three meals per day and basic medical services. Being pissed off by gay rights, “migrants” taking jobs, curtailment of free speech, whatever…….simply won’t, can’t work.

So….what is really that “poverty” we hear so much about in USA?
Not having a widescreen TV? A car? Is that it?

I know, for a fact, that a smart “migrant” family here where I live, on welfare only, live MUCH better than when both parents were working, full time, in their place of origin. Let alone quality of life in general, services etc.
The man did fight in his little war because he was truly poor and, consequently, desperate. He survived and moved here (as a refugee) and is HAPPY. No way in hell he’d confront the federal government here. No…………way.
He is HAPPY here. On welfare………..
Homeless people do exist, beggars too, here, but let’s not go there.

Any feedback re above would be much appreciated.

Pentagon Spent $4.6 Million on Lobster Tail and Crab in One Month
Chalk it up to use-it-or-lose-it spending.
    Joe Setyon|Mar. 8, 2019 11:55 am

”The federal government spends a disproportionate amount of its budget for outside contractors in the final month of the fiscal year, as agencies rush to blow through cash before it’s too late. Among the more noteworthy expenditures in 2018, according to the watchdog group Open the Books, was $4.6 million for lobster tail and crab.
Such use-it-or-lose-it spending stems from the fact that each federal agency is given a certain amount of money it can spend on outside contractors for the fiscal year. If the agency comes in under budget, Congress might decide to appropriate less money the following year.
Or as The Office’s Oscar Martinez explains to Michael Scott in “The Surplus”: “Your mommy and daddy give you $10 to open up a lemonade stand, so you go out and you buy cups and you buy lemons and you buy sugar. And now you find out that it only cost you $9, so you have an extra dollar,” he explains. “So you can give that dollar back to mommy and daddy. But guess what: Next summer, and you ask them for money, they’re going to give you $9 because that’s what they think it cost to run the stand. So what you want to do is spend that dollar on something now, so that your parents think that it cost $10 to run the lemonade stand.”
It works the same way at the federal level. Just replace that $10 with $544.1 billion—the amount federal agencies spent on contracts in the last fiscal year.
Of that $544.1 billion, almost $97 billion was spent in September 2018, the final month of the fiscal year, including $53.3 billion in the final seven days of the month. That’s compared to $47 billion spent in the entire month of August. As the fiscal year came crashing to an end, bureaucrats apparently did their best to spend as much money as quickly as possible.
The Department of Defense led the pack, spending $61.2 billion in September. The Pentagon was followed not-so-closely by the Department of Health and Human Services ($5.7 billion), the Department of Veterans Affairs ($5.4 billion), and the Department of Homeland Security ($4.2 billion).
Federal agencies spent $402.2 million on food that month, with the Pentagon shelling out $2.3 million on crab and $2.3 million on lobster tail. Also, “agencies spent $2.1 million on games, toys, and wheeled goods,” Open the Books notes, as well as “$412,008 on paint and artist’s brushes.” A whopping $490 million went to furniture, including a baffling $9,341 for a Wexford office chair. Agencies also spent $49,515 for skis and ski poles, $11,816 for a foosball table, and $258,901 on pianos.
The biggest recipients of the contracts were a trio of military companies: Lockheed Martin ($8.3 billion), Boeing ($5.3 billion), and Raytheon ($3.4 billion).
That $97 billion last September represents a 16 percent increase from the $83.7 billion federal agencies spent on contracts in September 2017. The figure was nearly $73.6 billion in 2016 and $69.6 billion in 2015.
In August, a bipartisan group of senators that included Kentucky Republican Rand Paul wrote letters to 13 federal agencies expressing their concerns about wasteful end-of-year spending. Their efforts appear to have failed”

Now what we need to go with that is a rule that all congressmen have to report on a monthly basis for a public report any contact with foreign lobbyists .

The DOJ has put Brandon Van Grack — a prosecutor who, under Mueller, prosecuted Mike Flynn and his sleazy influence peddler business partners — in charge of a renewed effort to crack down on unregistered sleazy influence peddlers.
The initiative at the Justice Department to pursue violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, which requires that an entity representing a foreign political party or government file public reports detailing the relationship, will be overseen by Brandon Van Grack, who left Mueller’s team in recent months to rejoin the national security division.
Van Grack’s appointment to the newly created position and the Justice Department’s interest in expanding its pursuit of foreign influence cases stemmed largely from the impact of Russian operations on the 2016 presidential election, John Demers, the head of the national security division, said Wednesday at a conference on white-collar crime.
With Van Grack’s new role, the Justice Department will shift “from treating FARA as an administrative obligation and regulatory obligation to one that is increasingly an enforcement priority,” Demers said

For example, if you call 911 and the dispatched cop doesn’t show up for 2 hours, you’re legally SOL, unless you can prove that the cop did so out of racism.

Another example is a clumsy or rude cop storming his way through your house and damaging property. You’re pretty much SOL, here, unless you’re a “minority” who can call a civil rights lawyer or the media and complain that you were treated this way out of racism.

Since elites (managers/the salaried class and shareholders) now abscond with so much dough, there just isn’t much left over anymore for the proles. I dunno how said elites think that this situation can (politically) sustain for much longer, because with every passing decade since the 80’s they want to hog a bigger and bigger share of the pie. Inequality shrank from 1920-1980 (Turchin’s compiling of stats), though the drop in the late 70’s was due in large part to economic difficulties rather than elite generosity (wages began to stagnate in 1973, after all). The reverse has been happening since 1981. I’d hate to wait until 2040 to see more elite generosity, but who knows?

Because arrogant elites are now so selective about giving people chances, they’ve incentivized stuff like the High-Ed arms race. You’re now expected to invest a lot of your own time and money into self-funded prep and credentialing, before some employers will even give you an interview.

Just another feel good BS scheme that will make the upper 20% richer.

The earnings differential between the upper 20% and the lower 80% is way out of whack in America.

The earnings differential between the 1% and everyone else, is a cultural crime.

The only solution is more pay to the middleclass – less pay to the top, and home ownership for all. The first will get the second.

p.s. Since the Jew Allen Greenspan took over the Federal Reserve in 1986 – the earnings of the 1% has skyrocketed. Debt to the 1% has skyrocketed.

  166. Trump is still the only option at this point.

The guy is driven to be the best at what he does. He knows when to keep his head down. He’s dealing with a lot. Trump can be fully Trump in his second term. Besides that, free speech is our greatest weapon. Trump, and the Judges he appoints, are more likely to protect this. The enemy cannot defeat our arguments on a level playing field, so that left will attempt to implement “hate speech” laws.

I wouldn’t underestimate Trump, but If Trump ends up doing nothing in his second term but securing one SC justice, that will be better than what the dems will do.

More efforts need to be made to demand the GOP earn the white vote. If Nick Fuentes really wants to work with the conservative movement or GOP, why not try this:

If the Israel first crowd wants 5 billion a year for Israel, support doubling it. And if Israel wants to remake the middle East to please them, then we say “mazel tov”. But now the GOP must address institutional anti-whiteness, work to re-implement freedom of association(although this is more likely to happen through the supreme court), and back Trump on immigration/The Wall with more enthusiasm. If big business wants immigrants fine, but then they must give the people the right to choose who they wish to include and exclude on the local level.

We want to make the GOP work with us, BUT if they don’t, we want them to make it as explicit as they can. Make them come out and admit their support for white genocide. Make them go farther than the recent denouncements of White Nationalism; make them declare that “white people will never be allowed their own spaces and institutions in the US and must accept being force blended out of existence” Or something like that; that really spells it out that “whites aren’t welcome.”

But Nick (and others) will have to be willing to give up this obsession with Israel and Jews. Is he willing to do this for white well being? Can someone present this to Nick?

It’s possible for Whites to get representation and benefits from voting. They must insist that any candidate they support openly declares Whites to be a priority demographic. No software whistling allowed. Only open and unapologetic advocacy for Whites will secure White votes. Failure to deliver on promises to Whites must mean defeat at next election. The Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs called out US complicity in dope trafficking today at UN meeting on drugs, the US delegation apparently stormed outta the place like a bunch of snowflakes.

He pretty much said what most of us already know, he must have read my mind.

Venezuela Leads Fight Against Narcotics While US, Colombia Part of ‘Vicious Cycle’ of Drug Trade: Arreaza

    https://www.telesurenglish.net/news/Venezuela-Leads-Fight-Against-Narcotics-While-US-Colombia-Part-of-Vicious-Cycle-of-Drug-Trade-Arreaza-20190314-0022.html

The Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs Jorge Arreaza said the country is implementing methods to grapple with narcotics sales and consumptions, denouncing Colombia and the United States as responsible for the damages caused by drugs in the Americas at the United Nations Commission of Narcotics in Vienna, Austria, Thursday.

In his speech, the minister denounced that drugs produced in the neighboring country of Colombia end up “in the blood, the neurons, and the graves of young Americans,” and that, despite the fact that the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration acts “as watchman” in the country.

“How does this happen? How can the drug that is produced in Colombia and reaches the U.S. be released without being detected by the security systems of the most powerful country on this planet?” Arreaza asked. “How can institutions and states not be involved in this vicious circle?”

The Foreign Minister affirmed that more than 90 percent of the drugs seized in the United States comes from Colombia.

Arreaza said that the strategy of war on drugs has caused a high cost in Latin America. In some cases, he said it has given way to the installation of U.S. bases in the Latin American region which “seem more a pretext to have troops and territorial control over the region than a policy to combat drug trafficking.”

The Venezuelan representative criticized that in recent years the number of hectares devoted to the cultivation of coca and the production of cocaine in Colombia has reached record levels. He said that some 5,000,000 Colombians have entered Venezuela to flee the violence from drug businesses.

“Without a doubt, drug trafficking is a source of accumulation and generation of wealth, which is full of blood and an inherent part of the capitalist system,” Arreaza said, adding that “the drug trafficking industry is a tool that uses the economic system threatening the future of humanity.”

A second thing to look out for is the tendency of corporations to increase prices when the public has more spending powers.

To give an example. Back in 2011 there was a huge tax cut that got pushed through government in my nation. Basically everyone got a 2 percent income tax reduction. At nearly the same time the milk and flour producers annouched that because of increased demand from China, they had to increase prices due to shortage.

UBI is a short term solution, it won’t solve the debt crisis among the young and it might not solves the issues of the elderly as it most likely will take the place of welfare checks, food stamps or other monetary payouts.

Wouldn’t surprise if some people find themselves receiving less money a month on the UBI check than through welfare.

If anything Indians are more likely the target since they are loquacious like the Jews, took over tech and are going into law, banking, politics in droves, and overwhelmingly Dem. Chinese have been in this country since the 1800s, while Indians are the newcomers and per WiKi have now surpassed the Chinese as the second largest foreign born group in the US, after the Mexicans.

    1. Roman Empire existed from 27 BC to 395 AD, i.e., a bit over 400 years, not 1,100 years. It split into Western and Eastern Empires in 395. Western Empire fell less than a century later (476 AD).

    2. In China, the Han Empire existed from 202 BC to ~220 AD, i.e., a bit longer than the Roman Empire before split. It was established more than a century earlier than Roman Empire. Then Tang Empire existed from 618 AD to 907 AD. Then Song Empire existed from 960 to 1279 AD. Then Qing Empire existed from 1636 to 1912 AD.

President Donald Trump on Friday declared that the Republican Party is
waiting with open arms to welcome Jewish voters who he said are fleeing the
“total disrespect” they have been shown by Democrats, whom the GOP has accused
    of harboring anti-Semitic sentiments.

The president touted the so-called Jexodus movement which purports to be a
grassroots movement aimed at getting Jewish millennials to desert the Democratic
Party en masse following segments on Fox News and the right-wing outlet One
America News Network featuring the nascent organization.

Jexodusâ movement encourages Jewish people to leave the Democrat
Party, ….he tweeted. Total disrespect! Republicans are waiting with open arms.
Remember Jerusalem (U.S. Embassy) and the horrible Iran Nuclear Deal.

Trump has lambasted Democrats as the anti-Israel party after a series of
comments from freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) about politicians support for
Israel were deemed by many to be laced with anti-Semitic tropes. Omar comments
resulted last week in the House overwhelmingly passing a resolution condemning
bigotry that some said didnt go far enough in singling out the Minnesota
    congresswoman.
Trump has asserted that though Jewish Americans tended to be reliable
Democratic voters, the party lurch to the left in recent years, as evidenced
by its splintering over Omar comments, has alienated Jewish voters.

The so-called Jexodus movement that Trump has now praised twice in recent
days appears to have cropped up around the same time as the annual conservative
gathering CPAC, where Trump campaign adviser Jeff Ballabon spoke .

Jexodus spokesperson, model and former Trump campaign staffer Elizabeth
Pipko, and no other staff. A description on the website says Jewish millennials
are “tired of living in bondage to leftist politics” and accuses Democrats of
taking the Jewish vote for granted.

Well they can’t literally have “anything they want” but if they want double the money and the green light to shape the middle east, in trade for support on freedom of association, an end to tax payer institutional anti-whiteness, and major immigration restriction, then we really should talk.

In stead of including the US military, we’ll encourage the formation of a Evangelical Christian militia that can volunteer to fight wars for Israel. Maybe after fighting wars the Jews will let them covert, since this is what many of them want to be anyway (and I say that with no judgement, it’s preference).

As far as “fear” of non-whites, that’s not it for me. I just prefer to live within the whiteness. I don’t judge what you prefer. Are you afraid to let white people have exclusive spaces and institutions? It seems so.

Nonsense. I’ve pointed the way to victory. Apparently, you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink it. Frankly, White Nationalism is a dead end. It foments violence because to achieve its pipe dream ends, one has to resort to extreme and unrealistic measures (race war nonsense); this is necessary because White Nationalism requires a series of unlikely victories: wining elections across the country with a candidate who somehow slipped by power choke points; economic collapse; gun nuts rising up; cleaning out the power structures such as the media and the government bureaucracies; changing the entire country’s culture; reversing political entropy itself …. Not going to happen. Better chance of winning the lottery. Partition, on the other hand, only needs to win once in a single state. And that, unlike White Nationalism, can be used as a tool for redirecting potentially violent activity into peaceful productivity. Reason: it’s a realistic, achievable end. THAT is your revolt.

Who said anything about Jews “saving us.” A deal is made to benefit each other. And if there are Jewish influence operations going on here, then I encourage you to take my idea to your superiors.

It’s not needed. With modern communication technology, they can do nothing to stop the spread of white identity politics.

They can’t even really censor people any more

ALL THEY CAN DO IS FALSE FLAGS AND HOPE PEOPLE TURN AGAINST US.

This won’t work for long. Forced diversity is a crime against humanity. The people responsible will be brought to justice.

The other tribes never stopped because diversity theology only targets White “racism”. It’s even been argued that only Whites can be “racist”. All non-White groups are encouraged to attack “White Privilege” and “White Supremacy”. Gullible Whites hear those words privilege and supremacy and think that there’s something wrong with Whites in White countries having power and even territory of their own.

Yes, I noticed that in his 2019 budget just released that’s why I mentioned it.
He wants 5 to 10% cuts for every US agency and to increase defense by 139%.
Besides dirtying up the world he’s dirtying up the US…much as I disagree with most of the Dem mentality…maybe now that they have the majority they can roadblock him.

  264. Chairman Yang supports increasing the H-1B…L1B visa program…source South China News Service…….Brad Griffith is now a supporter of this Asian Scab Labor Program..

Has the Han Gook Yang ever debated any of the many Native Born White American Victims of the Chinese Scab Labor Program…the H1B…L1B Visa Program….I’d like to see just how good his debating skills are…perhaps Ron Unz can bring him over to Unz Review for a debate….

Well they can’t literally have “anything they want” but if they want double the money and the green light to shape the middle east, in trade for support on freedom of association, an end to tax payer institutional anti-whiteness, and major immigration restriction, then we really should talk.

No we shouldn’t talk. I am not going to see other peoples land and countries and lives blown up by midget Israeli nazis so some piece of white trash like you can live in some white space.

Are you afraid to let white people have exclusive spaces and institutions? It seems so

    .

I live in a all white space …my country club is all white, my neighborhood is all white, my boat club is all white, family is all white, church is all white, friends are all white….highly recommend living among and associating with people of one’s own traditions, makes life easier.

If you cant find or be part of or in all white spaces that’s your problem……maybe whites don’t want you , maybe something about you they don’t like.

  267. @renfro

I am unaware of any exclusive white spaces in the Western world. In fact, this is illegal in the United States. There are still some predominantly white communities (I live in one), but these are being “diversified.” Even somewhat affluent communities are witnessing Asians and Indians move in.

The strategy you suggest (white flight) has been used since the 1960’s, but is not sustainable.

So I ask again “Are you afraid to let white people have exclusive spaces and institutions?”

  268. The Chinese in our America are the real SCAB LABOR!!!….not the robots…..

Robots aren’t voting us into a racial minority within the borders of America…….

Neither individuals supported UBI. They supported the idea of welfare, ie, the duty of society to care for its poorest. That’s very different from UBI.

Friedman supported the negative income tax as a superior alternative to the existing welfare program.

“Apparently the trust fund bipolar dwarf Brad Griffith is full-speed ahead.”

Stay away from that guy. I suspect (just a theory) he took a plea deal from the FBI in order to get out of trouble for Charlottesvile. His recent tone has completely changed. Nearly every post over on his blog is begging forgiveness like a complete cuck and shilling for Yang and talking about voting for the democrats. Shame. They’ve either broken him or he’s getting paid to say what the deep state wants him to say. I’ve always personally suspected he was an informant whose job it is to get people doxxed through associating with him. Either that or he’s a complete fruit cake. Like your average Arab terrorist, the average alt-righter is a loser. You ain’t getting a UBI anymore than Trump got his wall and anyone who thinks otherwise has lost it. Put Griffith on suicide watch after Yang goes down because there is no chance he wins the nomination based on the democrat party’s primary schedule and demographics.
