Even as New Orleans dismantles and sequesters the 1877 statue of Robert E. Lee adorning the center of “Lee Circle” in New Orleans, ground is being broken in London’s Victoria Tower Gardens Park for a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust.

Memorials come, memorials go. In the former Soviet Union, statues of Stalin and Lenin are pulled down, and movements arise for restoring some of them, at some times, and in some places.

Who, indeed, wants what memorialized, and why? And when? And who gets their way, and how, and when and why? The memorial-destroyers and the memorial-builders have at least one thing in common: their side won the war. So, they must be in the right.

They had the most guns (and bombs), and had used them most-destructively. They had better soldiers, or more of them, or both.

After the Allied occupation of Germany in 1945, no monuments to Hitler were erected; indeed, Germany’s “own” government enacted strict laws against “glorifying” the National-Socialist regime of 1933-1945, and has enforced them with a vengeance through all the seven decades since Germany’s defeat and occupation.

The American Union’s occupation of its southern states that sought to leave the union may, in the long term, have been gentler. Those monuments, like Lee’s, were put up after the end of what is called Reconstruction. In those days. The birthdays of Robert E. Lee, and perhaps Jefferson Davis, were school holidays. The barefoot children of the South did not have to attend school on those days—presumably not even the “colored” ones, who at the time increasingly did have “their own” schools.

The school holidays for Confederate heroes seem to have faded away somehow. By my time in Florida’s school system in 1950, I remember no such thing, but … what is memory? Maybe I did get those days off in my first few years of elementary school. The past is a foreign country, and I was a child, and what do children know of such things?

But the statues. There was no fuss from anyone about the statues until recently. Indeed, there was no movement to erect Holocaust memorials until … when? The Soviet occupiers of Auschwitz, of course, put up the odd plaque in the camp claiming that the Nazis had murdered 4 million or so “people” at Auschwitz, but no one seems to have paid any attention to that, even after they walked the claimed number back to 1.2 million or so. The first Holocaust memorial outside Israel would seem to have been that erected, precociously, in Paris in 1956. France was, in 1990, the first country to enact laws (the Loi Gayssot) criminalizing the minimization or denial of the crimes said to have been committed against Jews by the National-Socialist regime of Germany during and prior to World War II.

So … there would seem to have been a hiatus of sorts between the commission of the Nazis’ heinous deeds and the memorialization of the victims. Not all monuments to figures (specific ones or figurative ones such as “soldiers who gave their lives for the Confederate cause”) sprang up immediately after the War between the States, either. A study by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) indicates the year 1909 as the all-time peak of building and erecting Confederate monuments, or some 44 years after the end of the conflict. Forty-four years after the end of the Holocaust works out to 1989, a year during which, to be sure, many Holocaust memorials will have been opened, but a casual tally (no such study as that of the SPLC of Confederate memorials would seem as yet to have been conducted) of members of the Holocaust Association reveals, as of March 2019, members in 36 countries amounting to 244 institutions. Holocaust-memorial institutions, obviously, quite overflowed the nexus of the Holocaust itself (there are monuments in Suriname, as well as in China), while Confederate memorials are confined largely to the Southeast United States, with a few exceptions.

There is, for example, an entire community of Confederados in Santa Bárbara d’Oeste, Sāo Paulo State, Brazil, complete with a festa put on by the descendants of American Southerners who emigrated to Brazil after the Confederate States of America lost its desperate battle for the right to exist. The SPLC has not as yet targeted this group or its memorial and cemetery, but pictures from recent festas suggest that, what with the Internet and all that, the displays of recognizable confederatalia have been suppressed or altered out of all recognition to zealous norte monitors seeking to eradicate all signs of what they interpret to the rest of us as racial “hatred.”

For a war, or even a Holocaust, 44 years might be about the time the largest numbers of veterans (the term is as apposite for Holocaust veterans as for war veterans, neither of whom is necessarily a willing volunteer) were dying natural deaths. Those either mourning their fathers and brothers and those seeking to claw martyrdom back from the dead onto themselves might perceive the greatest impetus, or opportunity, to erect memorials, to their beloveds, or to the involuntary donors of vicarious martyrdom.

Confederate memorials and Holocaust memorials share many things in common, one of the most-notable of which is that they are built on “donated” public land. The memorials themselves, with the notable exception of the US Holocaust Museum and Memorial in Washington, DC, were built with private funds raised by organizations such as the Daughters of the Confederacy. A question that arises frequently with regard to the older cohort (the Confederate) of memorials is: why didn’t “offended” groups, such as Blacks, object to the emplacement of the memorials and, once the memorials were in place, why did several generations pass before “they” (or sympathetic groups of others) raised objections to them?

The reasons are manifold, and obvious to those who afford adequate attention to differences between the present times and the times in question when the Confederate memorials were raised, and stood in place for so many peaceful decades. No one alive today has observed all this period at first hand, but it’s known that before, say, 1950, most Southern Blacks were disenfranchised in one way or another, so they couldn’t vote against the use of public land for these purposes. Something that might be less well-remembered is that, before, say, 1950, Blacks were simply not allowed in public parks that Whites used (today, many of the same parks are predominantly used by Blacks, to the exclusion [by themselves] of Whites). And finally, it might not have been until, say, 1950 that most American Blacks (to say nothing of their White compatriots) could be counted as able to read the inscriptions engraved on the plinths of the statues in the park. Yes, mandatory education funded by taxpayers has indeed brought us together.

Once they could (and increasingly did) visit the parks, and once it was known that they could read the inscriptions on the monuments, hallelujah! A Cause Is Born. And a certain segment of the American political bestiary, ever lusting for a cause, put on their motorcycle helmets, picked up their baseball bats, and got on those buses that transported them into the heart of the enemy’s territory, there to do do battle with assorted bigots and neo-Nazis who wished the statues of yore not to be taken away and smelted.

The times, as various singers have sung, they are a’changing. For the worse? No. For the better? No. But they are a’changing. And according to your values and your attachments, you may lament this, or you may celebrate it.

But change itself … Well, you’ll be gone yourself, someday, and so will I.

  1. Why would only blacks object to existence of these monuments? What about the purported victors of that war? They could have objected but did not. The people attacking these monuments are effectively declaring that they want a civil war, as I see it.

This disrespect for civility must be punished.

I’d be content if the authorities merely denied the Antifa the preferences they currently extend toward them. A level playing field would be a vast improvement over the present situation.

Don’t worry, the greatest Confederate monument of all is still standing, and it will be for a long time. You know, that tongue-in-cheek statue of the dissident Frank Strausser shot for Clyde Tolson and Dick Ober, in cheesy Stalinist-gothic style. Martin Luther King. It’s like the ultimate in-joke. As we know, the South absorbed a lot of African culture from its slaves, and this tradition came from Africa too. Do you know what the precedent was? The wistful statute of Patrice Lumumba they put up when they whacked him.

The so called “holocaust” is simply a gigantic scam which does not hold up to scrutiny, hence laws against free speech about it and savage attacks on anyone who debunks the claims within the laughable narrative, and they are truly laughable.
While the US “Civil War” was very real, the fake “holocaust” is scientifically impossible. Jews and their shills think that building monuments and Potemkin Village, Fantasy Theme Parks somehow makes it all real.

There are over 100 “Holocaust” related “museums” in the US alone, all receive US taxpayer funding for an overwhelmingly highly paid Jew staff.

Facts on one of them, the so called ‘US ‘Holocaust’ Memorial Museum:
Tax exempt cash taken in by USHMM, aka: ‘Holocau$t’ Theme Park, for fiscal year 2016 which supports huge salaries for Jews only, with most of the remaining money going to Jews & Zionist organizations: $151,826,695.00 :
US taxpayers money to the USHMM in the 2017 budget: 56,999,500.00 :

    The “Holocau$t Industry” in court:
‘Please your honor, there really are remains of millions upon millions buried in huge mass graves, we know where the mass graves are, but, but, well, umm, we can’t show the court the human remains. You must trust us, we’re Zionists.’

I think Norman Finkelstein’s “The Holocaust Industry: Reflections on the Exploitation of Jewish Suffering” is as good a guide as any into detailing how the fabulous and lucrative holocaust industry skyrocketed right after Israel’s so-called Six Day War.

The disgusting irony of course is that while the various (((Gestapo groups))) are busy tearing down American heritage and Christian monuments, we are forced to pay dozens of millions of dollars to maintain all the European Jewish holocaust theme parks. Hillary Clinton, in particular, was quite adept at shoveling American money into Jewish pockets when she was at the State Department.

At the very least there should be a USS Liberty museum in America. After all, it was our second Pearl Harbor.

No they don’t. The war of Northern Aggression was real, as was reconstruction and the white genocide of southerners by jewish carpetbaggers and their negro bullets. The “Holocaust” is just more jewish sadism porn, and whatever happened was certainly not about genocide or burnt jews.

Below we have 108 straight days of non-stop jew sadism porn in the Media, as Network Shoah has been covering. Just scroll up for your daily dose of jew lies. They are the most absurd stories you could ever believe, yet those shameless lying jews smear them across the internet day after day after day.

There simply is no valid comparison between statues created to real heroes and real suffering by real people caused by jews, and fake monuments to fake suffering by fake semites. The German labor camp being bombed by ZOG bombers and the Yankee rape of Atlanta are the complete inverse of each other.

The icing in the cake is the statue to Albert Pike on the national mall. This was not put up for the benefit of those barefoot white southern children. The Pike statue, like the Washington monument, were put up to honor the true creators of the USA: The Rothschilds and their Illuminati.

Where are the monuments to Watson and Crick, Newton, the persons that discovered penicillin, the engines that convert energy from one form to a more usable other form or statutes of the persons that founded our great universities or the persons that discovered how to capture electricity and make available in every household?

Few icons to those that have made the quality of our lives better are ever produced, Why?
Probably because the war mongers would have none of that.. Oligarchs own 90% of the press, the media, and
means of communicating their wars, no damn invention that makes life better for the displicibles is going to get into the way of profit making wars that fund so much of Economic Zionism.

I don’t consider myself an American anymore. I’m proud of that fact. After decades of abuse from an uncaring society (including hundreds of blood libel hate hoaxes), after my people’s grave sites and monuments were desecrated by mobs of terrorists as the police and military stood by and did nothing, and after Nancy Pelosi’s House condemned my people in all but name through this latest resolution, I’m done with it. I have no loyalty to something that has no loyalty to me. I want my state to be free. It’s time to secede. That’s the only way this torture will ever end.

Imagine, for a moment, that we had our own country, one where we won every election and made all the rules. Imagine we had a country where we controlled a media that espoused our views. Imagine we had a constitution that banned hate speech directed at our people, ended reparations talk, stopped hate hoaxes and blood libel attacks, and shut down racist hate groups like the SPLC and kicked out the federal government and their entire cadre of corrupt secret police. Imagine a country led by our people for the benefit of our people, not big corporations or foreign nationals. Imagine a country where you are more than an economic unit to be used and then disposed of. Imagine being part of a common culture and being on the same side as everyone else you meet on the street, from the lowest pauper to the most cultured intellectual; everyone on the same side, the same team, despite viewpoint differences on trivial issues such as taxes or deficits.

My question to you is the following: Why don’t you want that? What’s holding you back from embracing freedom? Is preserving the relatively recent borders of this political entity more important than preserving the historic American nation? Do you want to continue walking on egg shells for the rest of your life, always scared that you’ll offend the hordes of racists imported into this empire? Do you want to be subject to racist attacks? Do you like having your monuments torn down? Do you like humiliation? … or are you just cowards? Because no real man would ever want that for himself or his children.

The United States is over as a country, that much should be clear by now. Donald Trump has failed, and he will almost certainly lose in 2020. A demographic tidal wave is upon us that will see the Republican Party wiped away forever, never to win the White House again. Your freedoms will go along with it as the democrats vote to take away your speech – redefined as “hate speech” – and other freedoms. Their banks are already trying to bankrupt gun shops. Their tech companies deplatform dissidents. Their police state spies on you. Look at what happened under Obama: the IRS persecuted conservatives, a Colorado baker had his religious freedom revoked, companies boycotted states like Indiana merely for wanting to defend the constitutional rights of its citizens, people lost their jobs for donating money to the wrong causes, and illegal government spying multiplied out of control. That will all come back in force soon. In the future, there will be no brakes stopping them from revoking every last freedom you have. They will corrupt every federal court, control every large media operation, every branch of government, the government’s secret police – the FBI, the ATF, and the CIA – and even the military itself. And they will use it against you, make no mistake about that.

What stops you from wanting freedom in the face of that? Whenever this subject is brought up, there are naysayers galore. But why? I don’t understand it. Let me ask you, “what stops you from wanting to be free?” Is it loyalty to those who show you no loyalty? That’s not honorable, if that’s what you’re thinking; that blindness – it’s a weakness your enemies will happily take advantage of. Truthfully, you owe these people nothing. Not loyalty, not honor – nothing. All of that is earned, not given, and they have earned nothing from me but contempt.

This country is an embarrassing farce. The democrat house votes to encourage illegal aliens to vote – they’ll all vote democrat – as up to one million immigrants are expected to illegally enter the United States this year alone; their fake news press, all located in three democrat cities, lies to the public and tells them it’s no big deal; guys like Rand Paul vote to override the national emergency. The government is trying to overthrow multitudes of other governments around the world and they threaten to bring war to China (fought by whites, primarily). Government abuse goes unchecked. Trump tells the world he wants MORE legal immigration and the government passes resolutions against you; the Republican Party is controlled opposition and is irredeemably corrupt. Does that sound like a serious nation you want to belong to? Then why do you want to be subjugated under it?

Despite the pessimism, you can help make it happen: you can do so merely by talking about it with others. In time, a movement with spring forth once a critical mass has been achieved. Then, the organization necessary to make it happen will emerge. It will happen somewhere. Who cares where? We can sort out the details later. Remember, we only need one state to be free. Texas is larger than the UK. You guys wouldn’t be happy with that? You guys wouldn’t be happy in your own country where you made all the rules, won every election, and were free of racism and hate? No democrats, no fake news, no anti-white hate. A country with a future. Peace and quiet. It’s there for the taking, but you have to rise up and take it first.

  23. The writer completely ignores the overriding rewriting of history that has always been the hallmark of Bolshevik jewery. To remake a society by an alien race, they first have to erase its history and substitute it with their own version. In this case it is one derided as “shameful,” “racist,” “xenophobic,” “on the wrong side of history” – all the mantras used to deride the targeted population marked for extinction.

The select group of “victims” should lend credence to the narrative. Not one VICTIM of Bolshevik jewery is memorialized. Not one victim of the genocides perpetrated by the allied axis of evil – jihadism and Bolshevism is memorialized. Even the alleged victors of the great wars – who saw hundreds of thousands killed for the cause of “freedom” see making the world safe for Bolshevism, are memorialized as the holohoaxers memorialize their fable. Instead they claim that not enough of the victors died in “freeing” them from their fables of the imagination.

Memorials are memorializing the mantras of enemies not of their victims. They make new victims; they plan making all of us.

Americans need to accept that the US was created with an hidden agenda that had absolutely nothing to do with the utopian platitudes that it was sold to the American people with.

In the case of Europe, 44 formerly independent countries need to reassert their sovereignty.

In the case of the US, 50 states that would have been independent in a Confederacy need to reassert their sovereignty.

Jews hate confederacy as a form of government. Independent states with their own independent militias united into a Confederacy form a unit that is very difficult to crack. So they hate Confederacy.

There is an example of a very old and very successful confederacy. It is called the Helvetian Confederacy, or Confederation Helvetica, or Switzerland.

Switzerland has 4 different languages and 26 cantons, some as small as 50,000, where some elections are even called in the town square. All major legislation is approved through referendum. Taxes are paid to the canton, not the confederate government. Militias are organized locally, with yearly obligatory target practice.

Of all the neutral countries of Europe in 1939, only Switzerland survived. Without England or America’s help. Hitler knew Switzerland would not buckle, because even though it was a union of various peoples belonging to 4 language groups, in a Confederacy every one can fight for their own country/state/county/city/community. Each one is sovereign.

Of all the neutral countries of Europe, on Switzerland managed to survive the EU take over (Norway in not neutral, she is a member Zato).

The US and the EU need to be dismantled and reconstructed as Confederacies. With all sovereignty local, and the only powers delegated and money paid to the Confederate government under the strict control of the local state/county/city/community.

So what do psychotherapists tell us to do for good mental health? Let go of the past; abandon the illusion of the ego, or at least de-emphasize the ego’s unhealthy responses to the problems in life; and live in the moment. You can find versions of this advice in the one-off magazines for sale at the supermarket about mindfulness, wellness, spirituality, holistic living and so forth. (Only in the U.S., the supermarkets in Hispanic neighborhoods don’t carry Spanish-language versions of these or other magazines because the Hispanics brought in to replace us generally don’t read.)

But what do the Jews do when it comes to the things they really care about? They obsess over their history of persecution, especially under Nazi Germany; they show fragile and easily bruised egos; and they worry incessantly about the emergence of the next Literally Hitler.

Jews should follow their own psychotherapists’ advice and, you know, get over themselves.

The cruel irony is that there was a person who survived a year in the woods in occupied France during the latter stages of WW2. But it wasn’t a Jewish person, it was a soldier in the German Wehrmacht. He had to flee and take refuge in the woods because of an act of gross insubordination.

While stationed in a German-occupied French town, he spotted a young woman who looked very familiar. It took him a moment to realize that before the war, when he had been a student, she had been a foreign exchange student in his school. Now though, she was in the arms of a German officer. He realized with a shock that war-time circumstances had forced her to prostitute herself in order to save her family from starvation. He was outraged.

How could war do this to such a beautiful person? A young lady on whom he had had a crush when they were in school together. War, which was supposed to bring honor and glory to men, had turned his Captain into a beast, had degraded him and dragged him down. And now he in turn was degrading and dragging down something beautiful along with him.

The soldier raised his rifle, sighted carefully and shot the officer smack in the middle of the back, presumably, killing him instantly. I say “presumably”, because the young soldier didn’t even pause long enough to see the effect of his shot. He threw his rifle down, turned tail and ran.

And ran until he came to a woods, in which he took refuge, as mentioned above. He lived like a wild animal, grubbing what he could and furtively stealing anything that looked like food from nearby farms.

One day, in the distance, he could hear the rumble of big guns. He had been seeing regular armadas of Allied airplanes flying overhead so he knew that the Reich no longer controlled the skies. The distant rumble of artillery told him that the front was moving his way, the Wehrmacht was retreating. He knew that if he waited long enough and eluded capture, that he could possibly make his way through the lines to safety amongst the Allies and not face charges of treason and certain death, from the Third Reich.

One day he was almost captured. Two German soldiers and a German Shepherd were combing the woods for stragglers and resistance fighters. The dog smelled him and became excited. The men sat down for a smoke. The young soldier was close enough to hear them talking. One wanted to let the dog follow its nose and track down whatever it was that was making it anxious. The other was more laid back and said to just let things be. Soon the war would be over and there was no need to make anyone’s life more miserable than it already was. Everyone had suffered enough. It was time to call it quits. Luckily, he prevailed. After their smoke, they left.

It struck him that this was humanity, one person all eager to enforce the Law even if for a futile cause and its bringing needless suffering upon another human being; the other, perfectly willing to look the other way and let well enough alone.

When the allied armies came through he took on a disguise and lost himself in the mass of roiled humanity surging before the onslaught. In the confusion he made his way to the Swiss border and safety. Acting on a tip, he trekked to a sanitarium in mountainous Switzerland.

It was a clean, orderly complex of white concrete within which a daily order prevailed that stood in stark contrast to the tempestuous war that just torn Europe apart and ground her to dust. It was a sanctuary, an island of sanity in an insane world. He was cared for there until he became strong enough to function and was allowed to stay on, having made himself useful about the place as a maintenance man.

He noticed that large automobiles would arrive regularly, pulling up to the front entrance of the sanitarium. Wealthy people dressed in fine clothes would disembark from the cars and, accompanied by servants bearing loads of luggage, would enter through the front doors like visiting royalty. The staff treated them with deference.

He realized that they were very rich industrialists and bankers and such who were seeking asylum under the protection of the sanitarium in neutral Switzerland. Their strategy was to disguise themselves as patients, lay low until the winds of the storm of War blew over and to avoid, thereby, punishment for their part in the War.

This gave him a queer, empty feeling in the pit of his stomach. That the very agents who had instigated the mass slaughter and degradation of humanity should get off scot free disgusted, angered and depressed him. That they should do so by taking on the role of insane people in a sanitarium struck him as so manipulative of other people’s goodness that he could not fathom how some people could be so cynical. Whatever remained of his faith in humanity and the worthiness of Creation was shattered when he realized, with a sinking feeling, that they would not pay for their crimes and hence, that they would learn nothing. Nothing would change. The world would not benefit one iota from all the noble intentions, sacrifice and suffering.

Just as he had predicted, the day came when the fake patients departed, as unaffected by the War’s end as they had been by its beginning. What had been tragedy for others had been merely an inconvenience for them.

He died a number of years after the war.

I found this in an old diary that I purchased as part of a book collection at an estate sale.

Continued development of oil and gas is going to be disappointing I think
here Already the oil freaks have expressed a desire to risk everyone’s life just to keep their markets going.. but come what may Wind , solar power with Hyrdo storage technology is going to give everyone in the world near free energy no matter who starts wars to stop it..the neat part of it is that none of the corporate Oligarchy can own it because the technology cannot be patented or copyrighted so they cannot own it. my opinion..
It is easy to for see how apply this technology can be applied to a very small scale, use only roof top solar and capture and recycle rain water between ground level and roof top.. to supply the energy to a single family residence Only Zoning stands in the way ?

Oil and gas bandits are already under attack.. if they did not have control of the Armed rule making nation state structures, they would already be dead in the water. again my opinion.

Absolutely. Not to mention that Ukraine was part of the USSR, so, if we are talking in terms of occupation, Ukrainians were the occupiers, not occupied.

Anger and resentment are feelings of strong people. Strong people prosper, i.e., live better than at times they resent. Weak people live worse than back then and tear down monuments out of frustration, feeling powerless to achieve something meaningful. Politics in many ways are like real life, tearing down monuments is a form of onanism of those who despair of having sex. That fully applies to Confederate monuments in the South.

“So the ADL has the power to stop the impassioned protestations of many millions of non-Jewish Americans who love their historical background and civilization. How do they achieve that, through what magic?”

They certainly do. And it’s hardly magic. The ADL – along with groups like AIPAC, SPLC, JINSA, CAMERA, etc. – has funding totaling over half a billion dollars at their collective disposal; with that money, they are able to fund well-heeled media operations, lobby politicians, donate millions to political campaigns through donor suggestions and PACs, support think tanks, and publicize dissenters as “racists” or “anti-Semites”, getting them fired (these groups have entire websites devoted to publicly listing wrongthinkers). In fact, these organizations are so powerful they were able to get an Al Jazeera documentary on their actions in the US banned:

“The film was made by Al Jazeera during 2016 and was completed in October 2017. But it was censored after Qatar, the gas-rich Gulf emirate that funds Al Jazeera, came under intense Israel lobby pressure not to air the film.”

It was later revealed that members of the Qatari government thought the US would remove its naval base should the US Israel Lobby be criticized.

What, you don’t think that half billion does nothing, do you? They certainly think it does something. Or is it magic that they raise all that money for no reason?

“and still didn’t tell us about your”

He can’t. Even if there were such places, the technology to transfer all that energy elsewhere is prohibitively expensive and would almost certainly double or triple electric rates. There is also the issue of storing all that energy – the sun doesn’t shine 24/7 and the wind doesn’t blow all the time; such storage technology doesn’t exist and won’t without trillions in additional spending. There are myriad other issues with 100% green energy. For example, how smart is it to put all of your energy generating resources in one place? One well-timed first strike by your neighbor, and it could be lights out for months or years.

The Cornel West incident was farcical. West claims he was “trapped” by UtR marchers who “looked at him” with “so much hate.” The police did nothing, but “Anti fa saved my life.” Like West could not have walked back into the building, or like the police would not have rushed in to save his pious ads if he’d been in real danger.
