I have written frequently on how the terrorist threat is routinely hyped to serve a number of special interests in the United States and elsewhere in the world. In many countries, including most recently Saudi Arabia and Turkey, anyone who is a critic of the existing government is routinely labeled a “terrorist” as that justifies taking harsh and often extralegal steps to confront him or her. In reality, the likelihood of being killed by a terrorist almost anywhere but an active war zone is miniscule. In the U.S. it is so small as to be statistically insignificant but the public has been led to believe that heavily armed Islamic militants are lurking around every corner.

The vast majority of mass shootings in the United States are, in fact, carried out by white males who are at least nominally Christian in upbringing. Some of the incidents are subsequently described as domestic terrorism but most are labeled only as crimes and are treated routinely through the criminal justice system. Muslim attackers plausibly linked to terrorist groups, who dominate the media driven frenzy, have killed fewer than 45 Americans since September 12, 2001, slightly more than 3 a year, a toll that would hardly seem to justify the enormous expense and surrendering of civil liberties that have been part and parcel of the “global war on terror.”

Those of us who bother to monitor the groups that comprise part of the vast “terrorism business” are aware that the whole process runs on a number of essentially symbiotic relationships. The FBI needs to make terrorism arrests, so it uses paid informants to encourage otherwise harmless young men to embrace violence. Federal prosecutors who require terrorism convictions to pad their resumes call in phony expert witnesses like Evan Kohlmann who will basically support arguments that someone is a terrorist derived from internet based analysis that many would consider highly questionable.

The big money, however, goes to the think tanks and foundations, which are all politically aligned in one fashion or another and which are adept at providing seeming intellectual rigor to justify every point of view while keeping the taxpayer provided cash flowing. The foundations and think tanks thereby actually do considerable damage to the country by continuing wars that do not have to be fought and by wasting national resources that could certainly be put to better use.

I recently noted a couple of articles that hype the terror threat on behalf of well-funded groups that are in the terror business. One op-ed piece by Matthew Levitt entitled “Fighting terrorism takes more than drones” actually is largely sensible about legislation to fund anti-terrorism efforts at local levels worldwide until it goes off on a tangent, describing how it is necessary to “raise awareness about Iran’s and Hezbollah’s broad ranges of terrorist and criminal activities around the world” then adding that “Hezbollah is poised to get an infusion of money from Iran.” The reader might well note that Hezbollah and Iran are themselves on the front line fighting IS and the assertion regarding the omnipresence of their own terrorist activity is somewhat difficult to support, unless one is thinking about the spurious claims that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been making. Which is perhaps precisely the point as Levitt heads the Stein Program on Counterterrorism and Intelligence at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP), which is an American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) creation. It is a major component of the Israel Lobby.

Another talking head who regularly appears in the Washington Post is Marc Thiessen. His December 21st piece is entitled “U.S. lets in four times as many suspected terrorists as it keeps out.” The claim is based on State Department statistics indicating that since 9/11 2,231 foreigners were denied U.S. visas based on suspected terrorism related issues while 9,500 more had visas issued but later revoked after issuance due to possible terrorist links or activities. When asked how many of the suspected terrorists who have revoked visas might still be in the United States, a State Department spokesman replied “I don’t know.”

Thiessen sees the revoked visa issue as an indication that the screening system does not work which is certainly arguable, but his rant is inevitably conflating a number of issues that are not necessarily linked while also assuming a worst case scenario as a result. He speculates that there must be many more “terrorists” who gamed the system successfully and did not have their visas revoked at all. He cites Tashfeen Malik, the distaff half of the San Bernardino shooters, and Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the 2009 underwear bomber. Neither had a visa revoked before they undertook a terrorist act. Which means they beat the system and there are certainly others who have done likewise.

Marc Thiessen indeed has a point when he observes that there must be some genuine terrorists who have obtained visas to travel to the United States. Screening potential visitors from the third world and war zones means having to deal with a lack of reliable documentation coupled with numerous desperate individuals prepared to lie to get a visa. That’s why you rely on a skilled and frequently skeptical American Embassy visa officer to make the call if there is any doubt about credentials. The Thiessen alternative would apparently be to ban all travelers who fit certain profiles that he would no doubt be able to provide, i.e. all Muslims. He advocates in his article stopping the entry of all Syrian refugees, for example, because they cannot be properly assessed, which inevitably punishes the legitimate refugees who can be vetted.

Thiessen’s complaining lacks context. First of all, the number of revoked visas is relatively small when spread out over fifteen years. There are a lot of good reasons why a visa status might be changed and one should bear in mind that a state department officer will always err on the side of caution, revoking a visa if there is even a miniscule possibility that someone might have been radicalized. Without further information on what actually constitutes a “possible terrorist connection” it is impossible to determine what kind of threat actually exists, if any, but Thiessen is willing to take a plunge anyway. And it might be noted that even a legitimate U.S. government concern about one’s politics perhaps derived from comments on social media does not necessarily make one a terrorist. It should be reassuring to Thiessen rather than alarming to learn that the State Department is reviewing travel status even after visas are issued.

And Thiessen plays the threat card, implying that many of the visa holders might still be in the United States without providing any evidence that that is the case. Some might never have made the trip and one has to suspect that the vast majority of those who did visit are long since gone, having done absolutely nothing in the interim.

Indeed, Thiessen could just have easily asked how many holders of revoked visas have committed terrorist acts or crimes in the United States since 9/11, but he avoids that question for obvious reasons. The answer is none and the FBI has no evidence to suggest that there are revoked visa holders currently in place in terrorist cells planning mayhem. One would think that if the point of terrorism is to do something that creates fear then the revoked passport holders have essentially failed in their mission unless someone reads Thiessen and believes what he is saying.

And oh yes, Thiessen works for the reliably neocon American Enterprise Institute (AEI), which is largely funded by defense contractors who have a vested interested in spending the taxpayers’ money to “keep Americans safe.” Back under the Bush administration Dick Cheney used to go to AEI when he had something important to say, trusting that the audience there would be his kind of people. They were his kind then and they still are.

And Thiessen continues to carry water for his old team. He was the principal speechwriter for George W. Bush and his first book, endorsed by Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, was entitled Courting Disaster: How the CIA Kept America Safe and How Barack Obama Is Inviting the Next Attack. The book has been heavily criticized for numerous errors of fact and also due to its advocacy of torture “as lawful and morally just” but the reader of the op-ed in the Post would not know any of that. It’s how bad ideas circulate through the media and are given credibility, a mechanism that the “war on terror” fraudsters understand all too well.

  1. Mr. Giraldi states…”That’s why you rely on a skilled and frequently skeptical American Embassy visa officer to make the call if there is any doubt about credentials. ”

19 men received visas to enter our country and killed over 3k on 09/11/01.

Maj Nidal Hasan, Faizal Shahzad, Tsarnaev bros, Tashfeen Malik, Duka bros, the list goes on.

The United States of America no longer requires mass immigration of people because our country no longer makes anything. For the few things we do make, we have over 300 million people to take care of it.

Our country is full. It takes me about 45 minutes to commute to work a mere 17 miles to my place of employment in the Philadelphia metro area.

No More Immigrants, no matter the religion! Make America Great Again.

  2. You do a disservice to your readers. The sheer volume of radicals prevented from executing jihad in this country , the ones you claim are patsies, set up by paid informants, is staggering. 3. Example of a ‘terror’ bust by the FBI of a loser who could not competently chew gum and tie his shoes in the same moment (model airplane bomber)

    http://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/sep/29/fbi-entrapment-rezwan-ferdaus

    More FBI created ‘terror’ cases:

We have years of history where the FBI creates terror plots and pitches them to fools, losers, the disaffected, and the young and impressionable. Why wouldn’t our other intelligence agencies adopt like modus operandi? The former top Middle East analyst for the Defense Intelligence Agency point blank makes the case in the supposed Iranian plot to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador ‘turned up’ by the DEA:

“Why on earth would they create a situation in which they had to rely on this untested, untrained, unguided, and uncontrolled asset rather than their own people?” wrote Col. Pat Lang (ret.), the Defense Intelligence Agency’s former top Middle East and South Asia analyst on his Sic Semper Tyrannis blog.

Calling the government’s case “trash”, Lang added that, “The overwhelming likelihood is that this is someone’s ‘information operation’ intended to condition public attitudes for some purpose.”

    http://www.countercurrents.org/lobe181011.htm

(^ A who’s who of the ‘usual suspects’ named at the above link)

The guy was just another perfect patsy, the accused could not get it together to wear matched socks, let alone pull together the necessary elements and resources to defend himself:

“His socks would not match,” said Tom Hosseini, a former college roommate and friend. “He was always losing his keys and his cellphone. He was not capable of carrying out this plan”

    http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/13/us/odd-turn-for-mansour-arbabsiar-suspect-in-iranian-plot.html?_r=0

And then the crowning glory of them all; the FBI searching for Black al-Qaida cells in Montana based on information obtained by the CIA water-boarding Kalid Mohammed; in a population where Blacks are so scarce even the FBI couldn’t invent an entrapment:

    Montana’s Black population: ……………… 0.6%

    Montana’s Black Muslim: ………………….. 0.008%

    Montana’s Black al-Qaida sympathetic: ….. 0.0007%

  4. - I am more worried about organizations such as CAIR (US) and CAGE (UK) than any terrorist. Civilazational non-violent jihad is much more dangerous.
    - With terrorism, we face a turkey-problem. A single event is enough to wipe out all claims that whites are killing more people than Islamist terror groups. In fact, the writer is aware of the issue and decides to focus the analysis on the post-9/11 period.
    - Perhaps, I missed it. How many attacks were foiled? How many so-called refugees/immigrants were involved in such plots? How many have gone on to join terrorist groups in other countries? Are we simply supposed to ignore the fact that ISIS has infiltrated the groups of refugees who overwhelming seem to be military age males?
    - Why does the solution to the so-called refugee crisis always involve relocating a medieval culture to the West? Even relocation helps only a small proportion of people at tremendous cost to the host countries and the costs are not only economic. https://youtu.be/LPjzfGChGlE

  5. Dismissing our governments efforts at stabilizing them displays a yellow streak that only a left leaning libertarian could promote

Dude, “your government’s” efforts have had the exact opposite effects from keeping you safe. They are the ones who have removed regimes in the ME (in Iraq, Libya, and still striving in Syria) who had vigorously kept a lid on all these jihadis you are ostensibly so worried about. And “your government” is doing this not to keep you safe, but to keep the citizens of Israel safe. So if you have a beef about your security, don’t criticize Giraldi, go speak to “your government” representative and tell him/her to refuse accepting campaign contibutions from the Lobby and to refuse to support this phony GWOT that is not meant to keep Americans safe, but to keep Israelis safe.

If your concern is truly about refugees relocating, then tell “your government” to stop bombing their countries.

  7. The Cuck! is strong in this one. No, “white males” are not responsible for the “vast majority” of mass shootings. Even with a good chunk of Hispanics lumped into our crime statistics, whites carry out less mass shootings than our percentage of the population. Which, thanks to Cucks! like this one, is no longer the “overwhelming” majority.

  8. Dear Mr Giraldi,

Do you have any sense of “where” the directives the FBI is operating from, in their scores of “concocted terror schemes”, actually originates ?

Where does the “mandate” to waste millions of tax payers dollars, prodding patsies into committing terrorist acts, come from ?

Aren’t our Nations financial resources better served by going after “authentic” terrorists who seek to truly harm us, then fabricating “phony terrorists” who never did ?

Don’t these policies undermine the integrity and validity of the “war against terrorism” to begin with ?

Don’t they drain our country of massive financial resources …and defraud our citizenry out of money that could be truly useful …. somewhere else ?

Why isn’t “the instruction” given to our FBI to “concoct a phony terror scheme” seen as a “defrauding” of the American people and our country ?

Shouldn’t this form of “defrauding” be seen as a form of “terrorism” too ?

Shouldn’t it be prosecuted ,no less ruthlessly, than any authentic terrorist attack ?

shouldn’t it be prosecuted for what it is…..” Terror Fraud” ?

Wouldn’t that help somewhat, in stemming the obscene outflows of capital, that has led our Nation to the brink of bankruptcy with our current 19 “trillion” dollar debt ?

Removing the “Fraud” from the “mandates” that instruct our FBI, would go a long way toward restoring the solvency of our Nation, which , need I remind you, is a National Security issue in its own right.

    Wouldn’t it?

Going after the “defrauders” who generated those” mandates” to begin with, and remaindering them to federal prison ,might well serve our country’s” National Security” even more.

  10. Please provide some sources for statements such as “The vast majority of mass shootings in the United States are, in fact, carried out by white males who are at least nominally Christian in upbringing.” Without references, your alleged “statements of fact” are merely dogmatic assertions.

Also, selecting Sept. 12, 2001 as your cutoff date biases your data. Had you looked further into the past you may have uncovered some interesting facts. Here, for example, is a quote from Wiki regarding terrorism in the 1970′s, “The most active perpetrators of terrorism in New York City were Fuerzas Armadas de Liberacion Nacional (FALN), a Puerto Rican separatist group, responsible for 40 NYC attacks in this decade. The Jewish Defense League (JDL), which engaged in attacks against targets it perceived to be anti-Semitic, launched 27 attacks during this period. Both the Independent Armed Revolutionary Commandos (CRIA), another Puerto Rican separatist group, and Omega 7, an anti-Castro Cuban organization, were also each responsible for 16 attacks during this period.” So, as I said above, where you draw the brackets that define your set biases your conclusion.

Also, try to use a little (more advanced) math when comparing any two things. When comparing rates–if one hopes to do so in an intellectually meaningful way–one must compare percentages, how many per capita. So, in comparing rates of white to Islamic terrorism in the USA, one must divide the raw number by the number of whites and Islamics in the overall population.

For lack of grounding in publicly cited references, for arbitrarily selecting your input data and for misuse of accepted mathematic analysis your opinion is not worthy of being taken seriously.

  11. I guess expecting Unz.com to remain free of cuck bloggers was too much to ask.

I mean Unz himself is pretty cucked, at least to the Aztecs, and Arellano is a vile Aztec supremacist, but until now I have not been aware of any bloggers cucking for the greatest threat to our civilization.

Condemning neocons is only half the battle. We can (and must) destroy neoconservatism but that doesn’t mean that Muslims are not a real threat to our civilization.

That’s why you rely on a skilled and frequently skeptical American Embassy visa officer to make the call if there is any doubt about credentials.

J Michael Springmann, a former US diplomat, worked in the visa department in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia ’87-’89, a place he discovered was heavily loaded with CIA. He states that he was overruled by higher ups in some of his rejections. CIA recruited jihadis fighters were routinely given special handling and brought out for training and assignment to places such as Afghanistan back when it was still an anti-Soviet project. Fifteen of the nineteen 9-11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia and appear to also have received special treatment; they had no family, jobs, business or any other connections to the US yet were given visas. The domestic so-called terror plots are usually made up of pathetic, weak minded patsies goaded and set up by government agencies. They have huge budgets and need to snare someone from time to time. All this, real terrorism or fake, most of it traces back to the government itself.

  13. Western definition of “terrorism” is as stupid as pastor John Hagee’s claim that Bible promised Palestine to Jews.

Israel’s veteran journalist Uri Avnery once said: “Whosoever is with us is a statesman, and whosoever is against us is a terrorist.”

Interestingly, all so-called “Islamic terrorists” like al-Qaeda, al-Nusra, al-Shabaab, Boko Haram, etc. are currently fighting Western wars in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Somalia and Nigeria.

In November 2015, British MP (SNP-Glasgow) Sandra White reposted a Spanish anti-Rothschild cartoon on her Tweet account. Her tweet hit the Jewish Lobby like an Iran’s non-existent nuclear bomb.

The cartoon depicts a female pig as Rothschild with ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, CIA, Mossad and MI6 piglets sucking her milk. The cartoon is captioned, Banqueros y sirvientas (Spanish for ‘Bankers and servants’)….

  16. After reading “Remembering Guantanamo” by Sami al-hajj,spotlighted in Antiwar.com, today,

I am struck by the level of “fraud” applied to the incarceration of so many individuals who were trapped and tortured in Guantanamo. Certainly Sami al-hajj, should never have been there, and if his testimony is accurate, nearly every prisoner he met was never interested in committing a terrorist attack against the US. Most, according to him, were just Afghan peasants minding their own business, or Uighur refugees who had no interest whatsoever in terrorism at all.

What does this about the integrity of our heroic war on terror if 95% of the people who have languished in Guantanamo, some times for years….were never even guilty of any crime at all?

    What does it say ?

What does it say about our media and our government that the argument being bandied about is whether Guantanamo should be closed….or stay open ?

What about getting Guantanamo “right” ?

What about having a repository for “real” hard core terrorists..there should be thousands out there….. No?….I am all for that !. But I am not for some fake “dog and pony show” where the vast majority stuck there not only have never committed a terrorist act but never even committed a crime.

What does it say about the level of fraud permeating throughout our institutions that even one innocent person could be trapped and tortured there , for years…let alone the absurdity that the vast majority were ?

We need to remove this propensity for “fraud” that seems to underscore nearly all our actions in this war on terror, and make what we do real ,not “phony”.

How pray tell, is justice served , in Guantanamo or anywhere else , if nearly all the people we have tortured there ,were totally innocent?

  17. “The vast majority of mass shootings in the United States are, in fact, carried out by white males who are at least nominally Christian in upbringing.”

There were two of these “terrorist shootings” during George Bush’s (II) presidency , at least that I can remember. It is interesting to note that Bush was not a proponent of gun control (about the only positive thing that I can say about him). However, Obama is a very big proponent of gun control . “Operation Fast and Furious” funneled thousands of guns to Mexico and Obama’s administration simultaneously proclaimed that the 2nd Amendment was responsible for gun crime in Mexico. In light of this corrupt administration’s willingness to go to any extreme to blame the 2nd amendment for “gun crime”, one wonders about the sudden spike of “terrorist shootings” during Obama’s administration; no less than 18 such incidents during B.O.’s presidency with the last one being the San Bernardino shooting. The spike in these events is very convenient for Obama’s anti-gun agenda. Yeah, I’m going to say it (regardless of the consequent accusations of being a tinfoil hat nutcase) : that spike in “terrorist shootings” is just a little TOO convenient to be a coincidence.

  19. Hi Geo,

A quick search for US groups opposing Israeli influence. Looks like only CNI/If Americans Knew are doing that, and they, while they do have ‘members’ and supporters, do not seem to organize or advocate action. Meanwhile, those groups supporting Palestinian statehood (of one sort or another) are apparently mute on the I.-Lobby. So there is a need for building an activist community around this.

BTW, WRMEA (Washington Report on Middle East Affairs), does urge action, and their website has information and tools, such as sample letters to elected officials. They are a major critic of the Lobby, but didn’t make the ADL’s top 10 list. (This list can be mined for useful contacts.)

  20. Muslim attackers plausibly linked to terrorist groups, who dominate the media driven frenzy, have killed fewer than 45 Americans since September 12, 2001

    1) The number is relatively low in part because we are foiling many, many plots.

    2) The number could rise to astronomically higher if they successfully pull of a mass casualty attack, which they are always trying to do.

    3) Is this one of those terrorism stats that doesn’t count the “workplace violence” (wink wink) perpetrated by Nadal Hassan (21 deaths) and others?

    4) Is there fuzzy accounting here where lone wolf Islamists like the Tsarnayev brothers aren’t being counted because they aren’t actually linked to a specific terror group?

    5) I note the ‘convenient’ starting point of September 12, 2001. Did something happen right before that?

  21. It is a panic, and of course, most Moos are not terrorists, and many of them detest terrorists.

When it comes to the ‘refugee’ crisis, the main issue should be race and culture than terrorism and etc.

Suppose every ‘refugee’ were law-abiding and willing to work hard.
The West should still reject them because when Western nations are filled up with non-Western folks, it is no longer the West. It is demographic imperialism and white folks will lose their genetic heritage through race-mixing and their ancestral lands. (If race-mixing is so great, how come North Africa, Central Asia, and much of Latin America are so backward?)
Those non-European people have their own lands and countries, most of which are much bigger than Western European land mass(which is tiny in relation to the rest). They should stay there. If they want to immigrate, they should apply legally, and it should be up to the nationalist governments of Europe and US to decide Yes or No.

The idea that entire populations should gate-crash into other nations sets a terrible example and precedent, and if this is the apotheosis of ‘western’ or ‘European’ values and if all the world should aspire to such values, then the world will turn into hell. It will mean countless numbers of Chinese should move into Siberia, countless numbers of Indians should move into Tibet, countless numbers of Mexicans should move into the US(just look at the Mexifornication of CA), and etc.
Indeed, most of the horrors in the world have been caused by border-violating mass migrations that increased tensions and divisiveness. World would be much better if people stayed up and sought travel and movement only by legal means.

When EU says COME HERE to all the non-white folks, these people not only invade Germany and Sweden but all the nations in between.
Suppose you wanna feed wild cattle and call them to your place, but in the process, the wild cattle trample all across other people’s farms to get to your farm.
It’s like Germany, in order to invade Russia, had to trample all areas between itself and Russia. It not caused great destruction for Russia and Germany but all the nations caught in between. Merkel isn’t only messing up Germany but all the nations between Germany and the sources of ‘refugees’.

And of course, this ‘refugee’ crisis was set off by political disaster in the Middle East and North Africa, and who were behind those? The globo-Zionists.

The Jewish oligarchs and Glob have gone nuts. Jews wanna keep the world in globo-imperialist mode since the demise of such order will restore organic nationalism in each nation. And then, each nation will think in terms of ‘my people’ and ‘our native majority’. Each nation will come to notice Jewish influence in their nation more and deal with in in a more effective matter according rules of national sovereignty.

Also, it is under globalism that nations will have more problems with other nations, and Jews can play on those differences in divide-and-rule manner.
Jews wanna play the role of Paul’s grandfather in A HARD DAY’S NIGHT and make everyone distrust everyone while he manipulates them all. (It’s not very clean btw.)

In a globalist system, the nations will be too busy disagreeing and contending with one another to ever do anything about Jewish power.
But if the GLOB system goes, and the bulk of politics becomes domestic, the main issue of each nation will be ‘our people’ vs the hostile alien elite(often the Jews). It’s like Jews had it good in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, a kind of mini-globalist empire where the various ethnic groups were too busy bickering with one another to ever unite against the Jewish power. Also, the nationalism of various gentile ethnic groups were repressed since the empire had to hold different groups together under the same umbrella. It was after WWI when smaller nations were created from the defunct empire that native majority nationalism developed in every nation and tried to curb the overweening influence of the Jewish minorities that were vastly over-represented in every nation. (This took a truly poisonous turn under the tutelage of Nazi Germany that came to dominate most of Western Europe).

When empire breaks down, the nationalism of each newly autonomous nation grows, and then each native majority will be better positioned to confront the alien/hostile elites. This is why minority elites seek the protection and the prolongation of the empire. Imperialism suppresses the nationalism of the peoples who are subjects of the empire.

EU is an empire of the US. But then most gentiles in the US are subjects of the globo-Zionist empire. The most powerful force in the world is not the US. It is the Zio-Glob.
The Jewish elites of EU and US and Tel Aviv and key Latin American nations are all in cahoots with one another. The Zio-Glob has power over the US. US Jews feel far closer to European Jews than with hick Christian Americans in the Soooooouth or wild and crazy Negroes. Jews are only cynically allied with Negroes. Privately, they see Negroes as ‘childish savages’.
Zio-Glob rules US and EU. The EU project suppresses the nationalism of each European nation. Each nation would be much better positioned to deal with the hostile/elite minority on its own terms with national independence and sovereignty. Jews fear this. So, they prop up EU and forces EU’s mandatory rules on every nation. So, every nation must erect and bow down before Holocaust Memorials, feel ‘white guilt’, surrender its border security, allow massive migration of non-white folks, and have massive ‘homo pride’ parades, the proxy of Jewish power meant to undermine majority moral solidarity and confidence. Jews as ethno-elite minority and homos as sexual-elite-minority make natural allies in the glob-supremacist sweepstakes.

But so many people are duped cuz they are addicted to the 2 PCs: Political Correctness and Pop Culture. PC castrates & lobotomizes whites, and Pop Cultures degrades and trashes them.

The truth is difficult to see cuz of so-many smokes and mirrors. Consider Kurosawa’s films SANJURO and RAN. In both films, the real truth is not what you see. If you judge by appearances, you may be fooled by what looks and sounds ‘good’ but is actually treacherous and hazardous. In contrast, what may look and sound mean & unpleasant may be closer to the truth and to your benefit.
It’s like in IKIRU where the doctors tell the man he is not dying. Nice pleasant words, but it’s a lie. The fact is he has stomach cancer and doesn’t have much to live. Well, at least the doctors meant well in withholding the truth.
In contrast, the Zio-Glob has nothing but malice in its heart.

We are told such pretty and pleasant lies about ‘European values’ being about ‘diversity’, ‘inclusion’, ‘tolerance’, ‘openness’, and etc. We are told those are the ESSENCE of what Europe is all about. And these words are muttered by the ‘respectable’ collaborator-cucks in elite academia, media, and government; therefore, the educated classes that seek status and prestige buy into them, and sucker morons among the poor addicted to Hollywood and MTV buy into it too.
But the result of this is territorial loss to Third World hordes, race-mixing and loss of unique European gene pool(as most Europeans end up looking like Moroccans as white women turn into mudsharks who turn ‘racist’ against their own men in favor of Negro men as racial/sexual superiors), cultural destruction, loss of rich identity and heritage.
In other words, the pretty and pleasant ‘European values’ as rejiggered by the GLOB is really designed to destroy Europe and erase true Europeanness. It’s like ‘gay marriage’ is meant to undermine the true gentile institution of moral marriage. Notice how the gentle and respectable seeming cuck boy Jeb Bush says illegal immigration is an act of love. Jews privately laugh at such naivete or cuckery, but they use the media to fool us that it’s what America is really about. In contrast, when Pat Buchanan spoke the truth of the dangers posed by immigration on white America, he was attacked as ‘ugly’ and ‘hateful’. In fact, Buchanan loves America much more than cucky Jeb will ever.
Jewish globalists only care about their own power, and the white cuck comprador elites only care about their own material rewards and fashionable prestige.

In SANJURO, the hero sees right through the BS. He is rough and uncouth on the outside, but he notices and speaks the truth.
And in RAN, even though the third son Saburo and the aid Tango seem to be the traitors in defying the Lord’s orders, they are the truly loyal ones who care about the Lord and his domain. In contrast, the first son and second son, despite their pretty-sounding words, only care about their own personal ego, prestige, and gain. They are proto-globalists. (Similarly, even though Lady Kaeda seems like a treacherous bitch, she remains loyal to her deceased family to the end. She never surrendered herself to the other side even as she played the role of ‘wife’ to the clan that destroyed her own family.)

In the current EU, truth-tellers like Marine Le Pen are treated as traitors to ‘European values’ while the cuck politicians are coddled by elite institutions and media as the ‘best of what Europe stands for’. And what is that? Supporting ‘openness’ that turns Europe into just an extension of Africa and Arabia. That is the ‘new European values’ according to nice-looking and nice-sounding ‘respectable’ people.

Truth is often ‘ugly’ while lies often sound pretty and pleasant. It’s like medicine is bitter but opium is sweet. Just ask the Chinese who nearly lost their nation to that crap sold by Brits and Jews.

Time to wake up before the GLOG turns us into globpeople.
    Wake Up dammies!!

  23. Off topic a little, I wanted to recommend the Adam Curtis (BBC) documentary Bitter Lake available on Youtube. Agree with it our not, it’s a large scale, fairly high profile attempt to throttle the Narrative about aspects of US involvement in the middle east.

Mr Giraldi doesn’t need to do me any favors but his opinion of this film would be interesting and appreciated.

  25. psc—“The United States of America no longer requires mass immigration of people because our country no longer makes anything.”

That is observably false. Americans make cars, computers, and airplanes.

“19 men received visas to enter our country and killed over 3k on 09/11/01. Maj Nidal Hasan, Faizal Shahzad, Tsarnaev bros, Tashfeen Malik, Duka bros, the list goes on.”

Out of how many total immigrants who are Muslim?

Kyle a—“The sheer volume of radicals prevented from executing jihad in this country, the ones you claim are patsies, set up by paid informants, is staggering.”

Paid informants, huh. Do you have any evidence?

berserker—“Why does the solution to the so-called refugee crisis always involve relocating a medieval culture to the West?”

Probably because Muslims are modern.

Felix—“Even with a good chunk of Hispanics lumped into our crime statistics, whites carry out less mass shootings than our percentage of the population.”

    Raw numbers matter most.

The Priss Factory—The Jewish oligarchs and Glob have gone nuts. Jews wanna keep the world in globo-imperialist mode since the demise of such order will restore organic nationalism in each nation.

Niwdog’s Law—As an online discussion continues with multiple posters, the likelihood of a person making assertions that the Jews are behind everything in the world that is “bad” exponentially grows.

  26. Looks like only CNI/If Americans Knew are doing that, and they, while they do have ‘members’ and supporters, do not seem to organize or advocate action.

Hi, Robin. I guess Phil is the only one who could tell us if it makes sense for CNI to take the lead in organizing such an event.

If it doesn’t, then we’ll have to start something from scratch.

As far as a potential name goes, I like “Take Back American Sovereignty,” but I would recommend modifying it slightly to come up with the acronym “TASK-force 2020.” That said, I haven’t been able to come up with the right word that starts with the letter “K” to tack on to the end of “Take-back American Sovereignty…”

    Any suggestions?

  30. So the Syrians, Iranians and Egyptians who marched in the streets for “revolution” and practically turned there own countries into basket cases play no role in the chaos in the middle east?

Not sure how many of the refugees are Iranians and/or Egyptians, but as far as the Syrians are concerned, without the weapons being supplied by the West, these people would still be in Syria today.

Need proof? Here’s a quote from Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, Seymore Hersh:

In 2011 Barack Obama led an allied military intervention in Libya without consulting the US Congress…

The full extent of US co-operation with Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar in assisting the rebel opposition in Syria has yet to come to light. The Obama administration has never publicly admitted to its role in creating what the CIA calls a ‘rat line’, a back channel highway into Syria. The rat line, authorised in early 2012, was used to funnel weapons and ammunition from Libya via southern Turkey and across the Syrian border to the opposition. Many of those in Syria who ultimately received the weapons were jihadists, some of them affiliated with al-Qaida.

another genuine terrorist but home grown via poland, mr marc thiessen – jewcon aka terrorist.

  35. “19 men received visas to enter our country and killed over 3k on 09/11/01.”

Nonsense, there is no proof of that.
The US Govt’s. 9/11 tall tale is an absurd and impossible conspiracy theory.

The 9/11 Big Lie has provided the convenient and unchallengeable excuse for labeling anything that the US and the Israeli governments (one and the same) do not like as being “terrorist, terrorist inspired”, etc.

Staged 9/11 provides the rationale for censoring free speech & free inquiry, seizing control of the internet.

The impossible as claimed 9/11 has set in motion a security industry which knows no limits to it’s contrived “threats”. Very profitable.

Anything and everything can now be defined as a “threat” or any site can be labeled potential terrorist target”. Very profitable. Funding & more funding.

    so essentially:

    - The government’s laughable & impossible 9/11 conspiracy theory is what drives US / Israeli policies.

    - ’9/11′ has been an immensely profitable scam for various players in the US and Israel.

    - ’9/11′ provides excuses for our disastrous & mass murdering foreign policy of both the US & Israel.

    - ’9/11′ provides excuses for the theft of our constitutional rights.

    - ’9/11′ provides excuses for the enormous & continuous increase in government power.

Yet the US govt. cannot change laws of physics, the government’s bizarre conspiracy theory is impossible.

And it’s an established scientific fact that military grade nano-thermite was used in the 9/11 attack.

Military grade nano-thermite was found at the WTC by the USGS & Niels Harrit of Univ. of Copenhagen, and 8 more scientists.

Don’t think he’s “cooking” anything…his assertion seems sound that all the programs that we have been paying through the nose (and other orofices) for are as a result of the initial originating event (being 9/11). His derivative conclusions on the numbers seem fairly logical and objective from that vantage point.

Also see (http://freedominourtime.blogspot.com) for fairly well-documented cases of provocateurs being used in the execution of these terror stings.

ok hotshot, why don’t you enlighten us with a broader analysis.

Here’s one field of inquiry, to get you started:

How many deaths attributable to Muslims have occurred in the United States since 1919?

How many indigenous Muslims, Arabs and Christians — i.e. people living in their own land — have Jews killed in Israel, with US financial and political support, in that same time period?

How many Muslims — Arab, Persian, etc. — have lost their lives in their own lands as a result of American presence in their lands?

  43. thanks for the link, David.

The video opens in 1946 with Morrison – Knudsen executives arriving in Afghanistan to follow on FDR’s suggestions and turn Afghanistan into a modern, western-style state.

The remainder of the video documents the stages by which that vision failed.

But nothing further was mentioned about Morrison-Knudsen.
    It failed as well –

After working on construction projects in Boise, Idaho, Morris Hans Knudsen and Harry Morrison combined their resources and skills to form Morrison-Knudsen Company (M-K) in 1912. The two of them built a world-class construction and engineering company that, at one time, was the industry leader in their field.

Their success relied upon fast, cost-effective, construction and an uncanny ability to match their company’s mission to the goals of U.S. foreign and domestic policy. When Harry Morrison moved to the position of president in 1939, he took M-K international by presenting his company as the deliverer of modernization to the developing world. Afghanistan was the most prominent, and toughest, experiments in U.S. efforts to aid a foreign country’s develop and M-K was the contractor.

When the U.S. committed to defending the Republic of South Vietnam against Ho Chi Minh, M-K was there to provide construction services, without wasting the military’s time or money.

By 1979, U.S. foreign policy failed to deliver peaceful allies in Afghanistan or Vietnam and M-K once again needed to shift its priorities. Without strong leadership, and because of difficult economic times for M-K, the company failed to produce a new cohesive mission and was sold to another company by the late 1990s.

Duran, James David, “Building the Modern World: Morrison-Knudsen Construction Company” (2013). Boise State University Theses and Dissertations. Paper 773.

Wise men might see a moral in the fate of Morrison-Knudsen.

When the New York Times, which is supposed to be a beacon of universal rights, basic humanitarian values and the cause of justice for all…”signs off” on Israels new law to imprison twelve year old Palestinians kids , as” terrorists” ,for throwing stones at the Israeli bulldozers coming to demolish, illegally, their homes in the Occupied Palestinian Territories….how much expectation should we have that our own “war on terror” which is, by and large, learned from them, wouldn’t be twisted , bizarre, and subject to fraud too ?

I wonder how many “junkets” to Israel ,over the past 15 years, has offered a lesson to all the Senators, Congressmen, Governors , Mayors, Police Commissioners and Fire Chiefs,in the basic fundamentals of international law ?

How many of those ” Junketed”individuals are educated that” all” settlements beyond the green line are considered by the entire civilized world (minus ,of course, the “junketeers”) as a crime against humanity?

I am sure they will all learn that lesson, and the truth of the matter, decades after the “threshold ” for doing something about has long since passed.

In much the same way, the “USS Liberty “incident, and the “Lavon Affair” have finally received some fresh air…….. a half century after the fact.

The most detailed work I’ve come across as to who the 9-11 perps really are( bondo is correct), is that of Investigative jornalist Christopher Bollyn.
He has made his book available online too:
    http://www.bollyn.com/solving-9-11-the-book

    As he put it:

“AN ISRAELI WAR STRATEGY – The “War on Terror” is a massive Zionist/Israeli fraud that has been based on lies and deception since it was first conceived by Benjamin Netanyahu and his ‘institute of terrorism’ in Israel in the 1970s. The “War on Terror” deception is the subject of my Solving 9-11 books. …
The American people have been the primary target of the vicious ‘psychological warfare’ waged by the Israeli government. The purpose of the Israeli psychological warfare is to create fear through false-flag terrorism like 9-11 in order to impose the Zionist fraud known as the “War on Terror”.

Some very good points concerning zionist involvement in 9-11 are made by Dr. Alan Sabrosky, a Vietnam veteran, graduate of the U.S. Army War College, with teaching and research appointments having included the United States Military Academy & the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).

‘Terrorism’ is mostly bunk. Nothing kills large numbers of people like supposed legitimate governments. It’s death by government that’s caused most suffering. The US has killed millions of Koreans in Korea, millions of Vietnamese in Vietnam, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis in Iraq and Afghans in Afghanistan, just to mention the major cases. The US went over there, the people in those countries didn’t come to the US to drop bombs. It’s the US that has committed wholesale terrorism all over the globe even as it whines about being a victim.

How many of those ” Junketed”individuals are educated that” all” settlements beyond the green line are considered by the entire civilized world (minus ,of course, the “junketeers”) as a crime against humanity?

Alexander, I just came across another example of the very troubling phenomenon of US leaders being “junketed . . . educated” to normalize Israeli crimes against humanity.

The Israel lobby, specifically, Foundation for Defense of Democracy, has extended the “junket – educate” system to university professors as well. Thus, the people who teach the next generation of leaders are brainwashed.

Take a look at this book —

Drawing a Line in the Sea: The Gaza Flotilla Incident and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.

It’s an anthology put together by a group of professors who were on an educational junket to Israel, sponsored by Foundation for Defense of Democracy, in the same days that the Gaza Flotilla occurred. The book is a defense of Israel’s “right to defend itself” and a defense of the IDF killers.

Joseph Morrison Skelly wrote the Foreword. Skelly got his bachelor’s degree at Notre Dame and now teaches at a Catholic college in New York, Mount Saint Vincent.
But look at Skelly’s list of published work, and where it’s published:

~six articles in Israel Journal of Foreign Affairs

~several articles in a new journal, Association for the Study of Middle East and Africa, of which the late Fouad Ajami was a participant. Ajami was a colleague of Paul Wolfowitz and advisor to Condolezza Rice. Skelly is an officer of ASMEA. If past practices are any indication, it’s reasonable to speculate that Israel’s government or an American Israel firster provided startup money for ASMEA.

Other members of the junket were:

Thomas E. Copeland is associate professor of political science and humanities at Geneva College.

Alethia H. Cook is assistant director of the Security Studies Program at East Carolina University.

Lisa M. McCartan is associate professor in the department of anthropology, criminology, and sociology at Le Moyne College.

Lisa M. McCartan, professor in Criminal Justice program, LeMoyne College, Syracuse, New York

Deane-Peter Baker, Associate Professor of Ethics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa,

Jeanette Fregulia, History Dept., Carroll College, private Catholic college, Helena, Montana

Christos Frentzos, History Professor, Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, Tenn.

Susan Jellissen, Political Science, Belmont University, Nashville, TN

Spencer Meredith, Associate Professor in College of International Security Affairs, National Defense University Fayetteville, North Carolina

Most of these professors are young in their academic careers. It’s interesting that Israel reaches out to Catholic colleges.

As I’m typing this comment I’m listening to AP reporter Matthew Lee on C Span to discuss Iran’s capture and release of US sailors.
Lee is trying to make a major case of the fact that a video of the sailors on their knees and with their hands behind their back was broadcast “in violation of norms.” He also complained that “the female sailor was made to wear a hijab.”
Lee later said, “I’m not an expert in military affairs and I don’t know if it’s customary to have detained military kneel …”
Lee seems to have the goal of saying, “Iran cannot be trusted” as many times as possible in a given time slot.

One caller who identified himself as a Marine aviator said, “the sailors should have called in air cover, we would have reduced that land to an island … this was piracy . . . this is 1938 appeasement …” Twice Matt Lee repeated, “the caller’s point is valid.”

A majority of the other callers were skeptical of Lee’s positions and criticized Lee for being a “paid pundit” and for “editorializing.” Several callers criticized Lee for continually repeating “Iran cannot be trusted.”

It’s Kismet how these two sets of information come together:

American college professors, several of them from Catholic colleges, were on a paid junket to Israel sponsored by Jewish neoconservative at the time of the Gaza flotilla and, from their “access to Israeli authorities” judged that Israel was within its rights to board and kill nine civilians; the professors combined their talents and wrote a book about the situation from their pov, which pivots on a confrontation between “terrorists” and “a vibrant democracy.” It appears they teach the students in their history/political science/ethics courses in USA colleges from that same pro-Israel point of view.
(It’s noteworthy that the one review on the Amazon page for the Gaza book sharply criticized the authors for failing to interview members of the flotilla, whose cameras and photos were taken from them by Israeli government, and who were harshly treated — they were handcuffed, denied access to bathrooms but forced to soil themselves, etc.)

    and

Two — not one, Two — heavily armed American Navy vessels in the Persian Gulf off the coast of Iran “have mechanical trouble” and accidentally drift miles into Iran’s waters. The vessels are stopped by Iranian military, the US sailors are made to kneel and put their hands behind their heads, apparently a female sailor was made to wear a hijab, photos are taken, the photos were broadcast — in violation of Geneva Conventions, according to Matthew Lee. After conversations between the US Secretary of State and Iranian officials, the sailors were released.

One more thing — Alexander, you and Robin and GeoKat62 are trying to organize effective activism against the Israeli occupation of Palestine and of USA.

One form of effective activism might be to send letters to the students at the universities of the professors who wrote this book. They are being perniciously miseducated.

  62. I think the most effective form of activism would be for the President of the United States to round up all the Neocons and their coterie of belligerent billionaire backers, and permanently remainder them to Guantanamo bay for the duration of lives, then he should order the DOJ, the DOT and the FBI to begin seizing “all ” their assets and use them to winnow down the “nation crippling” national debt caused by all their pernicious “defrauding”.

That is an “activism”, one that would truly make a dent , which is long overdo.

Whereas,I support Geo in his grassroots efforts to bring millions of Americans together on the issue, I think getting those in power, who” have” the power, to act swiftly and decisively on the matter,is the only recourse.

There was a time when I could be counted among those who are Israels biggest fans, and I still am in many, many ways….but the level of deception used to defraud our nation out of tens of trillions of dollars to destroy the lives of tens of millions of innocent people, cannot be countenanced.

I say to the POTUS……Take em down..

    Take em down….ASAP.

Using the 50th anniversary of the ” USS Liberty incident” as a target date for a “Liberty from the Lobby” million man march…would have strong symbolic meaning for everyone who attends….Justice has been a long time for all our men who died on that fateful day….a long time coming !

  68. Hey Geo,

No offense to the TASK force, but Alexander’s “Liberty from the Lobby” is very snappy — got that Liberty thing going on.

So, the 50th anniversary will be Wednesday, 8 June, 2017.

Something very smart S2C said, what does AIPAC do, can we take a page from their playbook. They have a convention, make speeches, discuss talking points. Then they head for the Hill, where they have set up meetings in Congressional offices. (It’s one of the most crowded times, they descend in droves.)

So, this could be spread over 2 or 3 days. Whether it’s advantageous to have a weekend day (the preceding Sunday?) should be determined.

Don’t worry about the website. We’ll find people. Let’s concentrate on whether we commit to this USS Liberty idea. If so, one of us could announce it at the WRMEA (anti-) Israel Lobby conference on March 18, etc., etc. Generate a buzz asap.

  71. Hey, Robin. I’ve provided responses to your queries, below.

Before responding to them, however, I too have a query:
Given that Phil has already confirmed that CNI could take the lead in organizing this event, I think we need to clarify how we coordinate the planning for this event going forward – e.g., do a few of us bounce ideas off each other here at UR or is there a way for some of us to interact directly with CNI to develop the strategic plan or is there a better way to manage the planning of this event?

I’ll leave it to Phil to provide us some direction.

I agree. I’m not wedded to the name I initially proposed.

Given that June 8th, 2017 is only ~17 months away, an announcement as early as possible is preferable if we expect to achieve anywhere near the numbers we’re hoping for.

Those of you who want to be in the loop on the planning and execution please signify as much to me here on this site and I will keep you informed as we move along. We should also plan on meeting at some central location at some point to exchange ideals. Our central theme has to be the terrible damage that Israel and its lobby have done to our country and our liberties, citing the Liberty and its coverup as a prime example of the corruption that the “special relationship” has engendered. We should welcome everyone who is willing to sign on to that agenda and hopefully we will have a large mass of people marching on Washington in June 2017.

Apologies, Robin. To prevent future misunderstandings, perhaps we could explicitly state at the very beginning of the comment which event we’re discussing: either March 18, 2016 or June 8, 2017, or both?

Yes… while Phil said “we should..”, he didn’t exactly say that CNI would “take the lead”.

What concerns me most about the influx of refugees from the Middle East and North Africa is that this provides validity to any false flag that will most likely be perpetrated in the future and blamed on the Muslim Community. When it comes to Israel obtaining Gentiles willing to sign-off on Israel’s crimes against humanity, what better place to recruit such converts than fundamentalist Christian colleges and universities? Where half the task has already been accomplished through religious indoctrination that renders minds and souls void of universal morals and critical thinking skills.

  81. Many tenure-less young academics are desperate to get published anywhere at all to build up their credentials but it is depressing to note that they appear to be adopting the Israeli point of view on the war crimes and violations of international law that have been common relating to Gaza. The pattern we are seeing emerge here is that the Lobby began by taking congressmen and staffers on junkets to Israel. Seeing how well that worked, they are now focusing on military personnel, police officers, elected officials at state and local levels, academics, and students. It goes to show what you can do when you have a lot of money at hand and are unafraid to use it to propagandize and mislead a largely ignorant US population. It is why it is so difficult to have legitimate points of view that differ gain any traction in the mainstream world.

Last year you and Miko Peled gave excellent presentations at Busboys. During Q&A (between the 2 talks) you responded to the question, why can’t we build a bigger movement. [Ques.@28 minutes, 2 seconds, Ans,@29.50]
To build a coalition, narrowing the focus, refraining from divisive, secondary issues, is essential.

However, when Miko says that the focus is Palestine, I would modify that. For Americans, the Israel problem is much larger than Palestine. As you say, our agenda is ridding ourselves of the toxic influence of the Lobby. This should bring together every stripe (except the Israel-firsters).

Even though the sound quality is poor, (it gets better as it goes), this is an excellent presentation and discussion -

  86. I think, Carroll, the success the Israel lobby has had in having our government “overlook” the ‘crimes against humanity” that Israel commits,

is primarily through “defrauding” our government into committing “crimes against humanity”itself.

It seems that job one, of the Neocons and the “lobby”, was to put the “dirt” on, to make sure that every individual in a position of power commit or be “complicit in committing” some kind of “crime”, right out of the gate.

then they become, either wittingly or unwittingly,” partners in crime” with Israel.

How hard could George Bush Jr, really push Israel to “conform” to the standards of international law, after he had forsaken them,in illegally invaded Iraq?

Part of the key to the lobby’s success, is getting our government “stuck” in the same state of belligerence and criminality that Israel is stuck in.

One could argue that our elected representatives are “trapped” in the world of Israels making.

In a more normal world, would anyone expect every single member of congress to stand in ovation ,35 times, for the Prime Minister of Israel ?

as though not “one” member of the house or senate has their own mind about it?

In a more normal world, couldn’t one expect just “one” major news outlet to discuss the illegality of the settlement enterprise,or the suffering of Palestinians under Israels brutal occupation?

If our world is normal, it has been normalized to the standards of” perpetual war” that Israel chooses to inhabit, and it has seen to it that just about everyone who could do something about it,
    won’t.

We need to find a way to be free from this, Carroll, it has gone too far.

Perhaps our march for Liberty …in 2017 …can start a march in the right direction.

    Its worth a try.

  91. Hudson Institute held another Hate Iran fest on Friday. http://www.hudson.org/events/1311-turmoil-in-the-persian-gulf-are-iran-and-saudi-arabia-poised-for-more-conflict-12016

There were several brain-exploding comments, but what might interest this particular forum most was the comment/question that Hudson Institute member Bill Luti posed from the audience:

Regarding Iran taking two of our riverine boats and ten sailors, there appears to be considerable unhappiness among the military especially the Navy in the way the president is handling the response, especially of our sailors. Given the secretary of defense has confirmed that the two riverine boats conducted a — had a navigation error and went into Iranian waters.

But it appears the seizure by the Iranians violates several, uh two or three well established principles of international maritime law, the first one of course being Innocent Passage, where ships of all states, whether coastal or land locked have the right of innocent passage through territorial waters. In this case the US riverine boats were headed from Kuwait to Bahrain to change their base. Uh irrespective of the navigation error that the secretary of defense has admitted to, um they were conducting innocent passage. Um a normal country would have rendered assistance at sea, instructed them to leave and sent them on their way.

The second principle that naval commanders rely on and I rely on when I was commanding a ship in the gulf, is the principle of sovereign immunity of war ships. Sovereign immune naval vessels are not subject to search, seizure, or detention of the crew. And again, even in traveling — even in port, or in territorial waters. So again, a normal country would have rendered assistance and instructed them to leave.

And the third principle, although we’re not technically at war with Iran, the 1949 Geneva conventions and the Protocol 1 and 2 of 1977 would clearly prohibit the filming, photographing, or otherwise using videotaped or recorded confessions for propaganda purposes. And this if not a literal violation of the law is certainly a violation of the spirit —

Lee Smith (Moderator. Smith is with Weekly Standard): In 2007 when the Iranians took British sailors for 13 days, Tony Blair made the exact same case, that it was a violation of Geneva. ok.

Luti: My question here, given those three long-held principles of international maritime law, these rules are extremely important to US naval commanders . I mean, they’re vital to the safety of their crews, to the safety and efficiency of their operations, and U S Naval commanders rely on the enforcement and adherence to these rules.

So my question is, why do you think the administration hasn’t even touched or formally protest or even thrown a marshmallow toward the Iranians?

Wonder if the contributors to Drawing a Line in the Sea: The Gaza Flotilla Incident and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict will adjust their judgments, in acknowledgment of the “very important, long held international maritime laws” that Luti detailed.

Were the same “very important, long held international maritime laws” in effect when Israel shot up the U S S Liberty, killing 34 US sailors?

Will Luti, his colleagues at Hudson Institute, and the military and naval personnel who expressed to him their displeasure with the Obama administration’s response to the Iranian situation demand a full inquiry into the U S S Liberty and to the failure of President Lyndon B Johnson to protect those sailors?

Its their “cloaking device” that is so pervasive….and so effective in hiding their heinous crimes.

They have been able to “cloak” the USS Liberty incident for fifty years.
They have been able to “cloak” the “Lavon affair” for fifty years too.

I am one of the people in the world that believes its not okay to be an axe murderer ,ever, under any circumstances.

I am not one of those people who believe its okay to be an axe murderer, as long as no one knows its you…as long as you can “cloak it “.

We are veterans, mechanics, tradesmen and farmers. We know how to organize for construction or destruction. We can’t turn back time but there ain’t no future without us.

WorkingClass spelled out the demographic that this project must gather in; he also stated the capabilities of that demographic: men who are accustomed to getting things done in an organized fashion, “construction or destruction.”

I would add that as much as the USS Liberty is a critically important symbol, to make it the centerpiece would be a mistake: imo a massive demonstration of USian eagerness to divorce Israel must include younger Americans. They have been thoroughly dumbed-down, through relentless holocaust proselytization, and will need what used to be called an intervention when young people had been caught up in cult movements. Zionist, holocaust, and Israel uber alles brainwashing is not much different from a cult.

I had been thinking about approaching this event from the perspective of Communications – Public Relations theories and practices, but as I consider how historical movements for radical social change have come about, I can’t avoid the fact — the overwhelming reality — that it involves suffering. Women starved themselves to get the vote; look again at the Gandhi clip; John Lewis was beaten and many Blacks (and a few whites) were killed; in Algeria a man set himself afire; Buddhists set themselves afire. Jesus not only spun a poetic parable, and fed the hungry, he surrendered himself to suffer. Are you prepared for that? Or do you prefer that festivities stop at Palm Sunday, a really kewl huge party on the Mall.

Which one of us will volunteer to immolate himself to gain the attention of the American people that we are under occupation and demand that it change?

Who of us is willing to jeopardize our careers or our privacy?

If you don’t appreciate that this effort demands more than just a band and a few speakers who have already said much of what they have to say and whose careers are built around saying just that much and no more — I will refrain from mentioning those names from earlier lists who fit that category — then you have not fully thought through the task ahead and the total commitment demanded. We’re talking pigs, not chickens.

So true, S2C. These are very legitimate concerns you are raising and they should be tabled at the kick-off meeting, whenever and wherever it takes place.

Notwithstanding these concerns, the only thought that comes to mind is:

“If not us, who? If not now, when?” – JFK

P.S. … and there’s no need reminding me what happened to him.

  104. You are correct that terrorism per se is overhyped. Even with the death toll from 9/11, you are more likely to die of a lighting strike than be killed by a terrorist. And yet…

Suppose that out of 1 million islamic refugees admitted to the nation, only one is a terrorist. They might perhaps kill a dozen people – sad, but in the greater scheme of things so much less than the death toll of car accidents shower accidents ladder accidents etc.etc. as to be a fairly minor concern.

And yet, this one terrorist will cause ALL of us to have to take off our shoes at airports, and not be able to take sodas with us, and give up our privacy etc. That doesn’t happen in Japan – because the Japanese don’t let terrorists into their country. The impact of letting in masses of islamic refugees is far larger than the tiny few who are active terrorists might suggest.

And when you let in all these un-vetted people from the cesspits of the earth, sure the number of terrorists is tiny – but the number of rapists, drug gang members, thieves etc. will be in the tens of thousands. That will have a significant impact – the government hides this by deliberately refusing to keep statistics on this (and only on this!) but an enormous amount of the crime in this country must be due to mass immigration.

And even if all of those million are saints, they are still a million. We no longer have an open frontier, and they will drive down wages, and increase crowding, and ultimately end the era of American exceptionalism of abundant resources. Remember, all nations consist of immigrants and the descendants of immigrants. What set America apart is that, relative to our land and capital, not that we had so many immigrants, but that we had so few… Look at how people live in Bangladesh, that’s were this road leads.

So yes the media is overhyping the terrorism angle of immigration – perhaps because the real problems, like garden-variety criminals, and downwards pressure on wages and living conditions – is so much more relevant, that the idea is to distract us with showy exceptions, than allow us to focus on the real threats…

  105. no immigrant(s) can drive down wages like the owners of wall st.

taking off shoes, thank cheney, wulfiwitz, perle, the kagan gang and their buddies.

not taking sodas (onto a plane), thank the above not the muslims.

also, every truth movement must have a jew in charge so that we will know where not to go, what not to say.

america is exceptional only in its delusions, violence, and capture by a satanic cult.

  106. Perhaps and perhaps not ,S2C,

It my well be that the United States (and the world) has suffered “enough” at the hands of the lobby, the neocons, Israel and their tilt toward an “all conquering” Fascistic Supremacism ?

Maybe Americans are fed up with having to expend tens of trillions of dollars in feckless wars of aggression ?…
.Maybe Americans are fed up with seeing obscene amounts of “their” money heading out of “their” pockets into the hand of the Neocons, and their pernicious designs for “world domination” ?
Maybe Americans are sick of the fraud that has infected our governments decision making processes…one that has taken all their money…and gifted it…to the one percent?

I , for one, don’t appreciate being defrauded out of “any” money, let alone trillions of dollars to destroy the lives of millions of innocent people who were never truly a threat to us to begin with.

    Do you?

I think stating the facts, openly and honestly, is more than a fair substitute for “self immolation”….

    Don’t you, S2C ?

Maybe our” March” is happening at a time…when the sacrifices our nation has made, at the hands of the” Neocon Agenda”, has reached a saturation point ?

On the other hand, maybe we should “wait” S2C,…. until our national debt reaches the” 60 trillion” dollar mark ?…….Maybe we should wait ,S2C…until the UN Refugee Agency reports that “350 million” refugees from the neocons wars of aggression are wandering the earth in utter desperation….not 59 million ?

Maybe we should wait…until its all in the rear view mirror,….. before we ever make a stand against it?…….Maybe that is, S2C, the safest way to go ?

  108. This just in from Philip Weiss:

Things are changing fast. Gosh when will the U.S. press catch up? We are pleased to be in the thick of this movement, as advocates and journalists, and pleased to see statements that were heretical a couple years ago come into the mainstream. Israel has no right to exist? Reform Jews refuse to set foot in Israel? Here is another prediction. This crisis will not end until American Jews declare, Zionism is racism. And one day they will. – See more at: http://mondoweiss.net/2016/01/little-jewboy-moment-highlights-coming-divorce-between-us-jews-and-israel#sthash.rAtjlD1b.dpuf

Our task is to hasten that day.

  109. Here’s another example of the power of the lobby provided by Uri Avnery:

Speaking about divine intervention: last week the Swedish Foreign Minister, Margot Wallstrom, criticized Israel’s legal system for having different laws for Jews and Arabs. Netanyahu reacted sharply, and lo and behold – by sheer accident, a few days later the Swedish press was full of stories about the corruption of Wallstrom, who did pay less rent for her government apartment than she should have.

    http://original.antiwar.com/avnery/2016/01/22/extreme-extremer-extremest/

I was aware of the big 3 lobbies:

    AIPAC – US
    BICOM – Britain
    CRIF – France

but it seems Sweden isn’t immune from it, either.

  111. Hi Sam,
Because you might be in NYC —

    January 29, 2016 / Gilad Atzmon

I am in NYC this weekend

Hello everybody, I am in NYC for a few days for interviews and sessions.

On Sunday afternoon I will be running a workshop on Controlled Opposition. I will also attempt to explain why Anti Zionism has failed to stop Zion and why the Anti War movement hasn’t stopped a single war. Why is anti capitalism funded by capital? All these problematic issues must be addressed. On Sunday I will unveil the last piece in the puzzle. If you are in NYC come and witness the dots being connected.

    January 31, 1-5 PM

    18 West 18 Street, between 5th and 6th,

    Room Number 603

  112. Thanks for sharing, Robin. I would definitely attend this event, if I could. It would be nice if someone who does attend could share any pearls of wisdom that may come out of it. It may help our Liberty from the Lobby rally, scheduled for June 8, 2017.
