Reuters-Ipsos has a poll tracking partisan affiliation that has been running since the beginning of 2016. It now has a total sample standing at 457,215 responses. The explorer allows for all kinds of filters to be applied, including state of residency, educational attainment, race, and 2016 presidential vote. With the modest exception of a few of the most leftist states in the country, Trump’s domination is nationwide. Even in those four states–four of the most leftist in the country–where Clinton won the white working-class vote, her margins were modest.

Corporate tax cuts. That will be Trump’s legislative legacy. What a pity.

For it to be otherwise, Trump is going to have to go to the mat on the wall. Bank on Pelosi’s and Schumer’s constituents needing the trough fully opened back up more than his own do. Congressional Democrats absolutely do not want to sign off on any wall funding, no matter how much Trump is willing to concede in exchange. The only way they are going to blink is if they are forced to do so due to political pressure from their taxeaters–both those who directly receive welfare benefits and those who fill the ranks of bureaucratic governmental do-nothing jobs.

Politically, this is his last stand. If he doesn’t get the wall funding, he’s two years a lame duck and one term a president. Consequently, Trump does not need to concede anything. If the Dems tap out, they’ll do so not on account of what Trump offers them but because they fear getting shot in the back if they don’t.

Like that’s ever going to happen!

Agreed, but does he realize this? Bolton’s continually whispering “Bomb Iran” and “Bomb Syria” etc in his ear 24/7 and even the more sane people around him may well point out that starting wars is the quickest way toward popularity for an American president. I wonder if Trump will be an exception.

Agree. That unless Trump has a smoking gun on the Pedocrats, which I’ll believe when I see. Fortunately, the timing on this shutdown indicates that Trump is in fact paying attention.

He could “technically” negotiate with a Republican Congress. But he has literally nothing to lose by refusing to negotiate with the Xeno-Americans.

The numbers in LA, MS and AL are not surprising to us. The ratio is astonishing, near-black levels of tribalism. Even Hendrik Verwoerd never had that kind of loyalty from his people.

In contrast to the “Belarus or Bust” blackpill, I offer the whitepill of “Illinois or Bust”. The key to winning back power, and eventually a Redstan, comes from getting the voters of IL, MN, WI and IA to vote like they do in the lower Midwest. The tradition of Col. McCormick must be revived.

A Chicago rebuilt on the Burham plan to be the capital of Redstan.

Who are the District of Columbia’s non-college whites?

Unionization may explain the lower rates in both the West Coast and Upper Midwest.

If college enrollment suffers a secular decline, will this spark a revival of conservative sentiments?

the bad guy’s media managed to trick liberals into believing diversity != cheap labor but of course it is and as a result half the population throughout the West have been relentlessly hammered for 20+ years (the length of time varying from place to place) with the media either covering it up completely or mocking and blaming the consequences of that hammering: divorce, alcoholism, suicide etc on the victims (e.g. Springer). this hammered population is the core behind Brexit, yellow vests, Trump etc.

the other critical segment are the youth radicalized by the anti-white agenda in the schools who have the brains, education and aggression to stomp his opponent’s arguments into the ground if they are allowed to do so.

if can keep those two groups on board the rest of the middle class will eventually succumb.

the only other option he has or had imo was a massive swamp-draining exercise around a corruption investigation but it seems both parties and all the possible investigatory agencies are too tainted to deliver on that for fear of damaging themselves.

a couple of things i wondered though

    1) i doubt they’re any less potentially corrupt but it’s in the interests of the young Leftists in the Dems to see their old guard taken down

    2) if Trump needs an untainted outside investigatory agency to fully scour everyone connected to the Clinton foundation does the military have a legal branch big enough to take it on?

  11. Whites Without College Degrees(WWCDs) are the key to victory for the GOP.

GOP donors don’t care if the GOP wins or loses as long as their interests are advanced and protected.

GOP donors can get their GOP politician whores to cut deals with the Democrat Party politician whores to protect the donors and plutocrats.

GOP voters must somehow screw out from under the GOP donors to wrest control of the Republican Party. The current Republican Party ruling class rats are treasonous scum who push mass legal immigration, illegal immigration, globalization, financialization, multiculturalism and endless overseas war.

Trump deliberately provoked a GOP donor vs GOP voter split in order to take the presidency.

GOP voters have to actively counter-attack the treasonous rat GOP donors who are attacking Whites Without College Degrees.

The GOP donors started this fight, but the GOP voters will win the fight.

Smash the GOP donors! Smash the evil GOP ruling class rats!

That’s an interesting question. Though probably not a very important one.

  13. The average person on the street — even conservatives who aren’t political junkies — doesn’t believe me when I tell them Trump won the White college-educated vote.

They assume he only won the non-college-educated White deplorables.

  14. Trump was the beneficiary of the almost explicit abandonment of Whites Without College Degrees(WWCDs) by the Democrat Party. Trump won over many WWCDs by attacking the treasonous rats in the GOP ruling class.

Trump pounded the Hell out of donor whore Marco Rubio, and it was great fun to watch. Whites Without College Degrees saw Trump attack the GOP donors and the GOP politician whores and they figured they might as well support Trump, seeing as how the Democrat Party had abandoned them.

Unfortunately, Trump has behaved as president in a manner no different than many of the GOP donor whores would have.

GOP donor Sheldon Adelson wants mass legal immigration and illegal immigration to continue, and Trump has not done much to stop mass legal immigration and illegal immigration.

Adelson wants the US military to fight wars on behalf of Israel in the Middle East and West Asia, and Trump, despite his talk, has not removed the US military from the sinkhole that is the Middle East and West Asia.

Adelson and the Israel First crowd in the Deep State want the US military to be used as muscle to fight wars that Israel itself should be fighting.

Many WWCDs in the Great Lakes states that supported Trump did so because they have relations and loved ones in the US military, and they wanted to vote for a candidate who would get the US military out of these endless, unnecessary overseas wars that do not benefit the United States in any way.

WWCDs knew that the Democrat Party had abandoned them and they saw Trump attacking the treasonous rats in the GOP ruling class, so they figured they would take a chance on the guy who said he would put the interests of America and Americans first.

Thomas Edsall in the New York Times (2011):

For decades, Democrats have suffered continuous and increasingly severe losses among white voters. But preparations by Democratic operatives for the 2012 election make it clear for the first time that the party will explicitly abandon the white working class.

All pretense of trying to win a majority of the white working class has been effectively jettisoned in favor of cementing a center-left coalition made up, on the one hand, of voters who have gotten ahead on the basis of educational attainment — professors, artists, designers, editors, human resources managers, lawyers, librarians, social workers, teachers and therapists — and a second, substantial constituency of lower-income voters who are disproportionately African-American and Hispanic.

  15. These stats illustrate the degree to which “college” has simply become an indoctrination session. Especially outside of STEM, 4 or 5 years are spent absorbing the “smelly orthodoxies” of the loonie Left, specifically, the malodour du jour of the Frankfurt School acolytes teaching at your kid’s particular propaganda camp. That, plus booze, weed and moral dissolution prepare the NPC-in-training to accept the instruction and go forth, be useless, and not multiply.

Bryon’s “dark Satanic mills” being shuttered, the diabolism has now shifted to the Ivory Tower.

  16. Whites Without College Degrees will turn to Ann Coulter for leadership if they are forced into it by Trump’s weakness and by Trump’s betrayal of his campaign promises.

To steal a line from the screenwriter of the movie Gladiator, I will say that Ann Coulter does not pretend to be a woman of the people, but she does try to be a woman for the people.

Ann Coulter is getting angered by the money-grubbing scum at the US Chamber of Commerce and all the other treasonous rats in the GOP ruling class that want to give amnesty to illegal alien invaders and to continue flooding more and more mass legal immigration into the United States.

Ann Coulter is wondering why President Trump hasn’t reduced legal immigration or stopped illegal immigration.

Ann Coulter is wondering why the US military is bogged down in endless and unnecessary wars that do not advance the national security interests of the United States.

Ann Coulter should suspend the idea of getting duck boots for that Arkansas Israel First boob in the US Senate to wade through the snow and slush of the 2020 GOP New Hampshire presidential primary. Ann Coulter should get a pair for herself to really put Trump’s feet to the fire. New Hampshire and Iowa need Ann Coulter. Maybe that will put some fight into Trump.

With the exception of some managers, some lawyers, the useless HR ladies, and a few of the teachers, do you all see a pattern? These people live off of the taxpayers of America. White non-college-degreed, especially men, have NO CHANCE of getting any of these jobs that mooch off of the taxpayers. Trump is pouring money into the war budget to grab the GOP share of the White government worker vote.

The GOP panders to certain government workers for their votes and the Democrat Party panders for their share of the White government worker vote.

The trillion dollar yearly federal government deficit that is on the way and the 22 trillion dollar total debt and the hundreds of trillions of dollars of total unfunded liabilities for government at all levels is simply UNPAYABLE.

The ruling class of the USA will have to make deals with the Chinese and the Europeans and the Russians and the Japanese and then coordinate the collapse of currency values globally.

Then it will be easy to pay off the debts because the purchasing power of the currencies will be destroyed.

I realize some of the above is radical and a satellite view of the White government worker problem.

Whites love to work for government at all levels — they don’t give a shit where the loot comes from.
White government workers are like gun molls in that regard.

I ain’t bashing you White government workers — I love most of you, but I want to warn you that the globalizer plutocrats will crash the dollar and most other global currencies rather than pay you your salary or benefits. That is what they are planning to do to save their loot and political power.

Ann Coulter can say that Trump is standing with Sheldon Adelson and Paul Singer instead of standing by the American people.

Ann Coulter could also targetize the treasonous rats in the GOP ruling class. Plenty of voters — GOP, Democrat or independent — would love to hear Ann Coulter bash the Hell out of the treasonous rats in the Democrat Party ruling class and the Republican Party ruling class.

  33. @Cloudbuster

Yeah, I’ve experienced the same assumptions even though the official exit poll shows it not to be the case. But in many areas of the country, it is true–unlike the WWC, which was pro-Trump virtually everywhere, and even where it wasn’t, it was close to a coin flip on whether or not a WWC person would be for Trump or not.

  34. I’m still not getting why Mr. Trump says he wants to go thru Congress for Wall funding. Human fossils Pelosi/Schumer have dropped anchor and the stare-down has begun in earnest. Maybe CEO Trump remains too used to the boardroom, where both sides were in it for financial gain, so rational actors could seek compromise. Pelosi/Schumer do not strike me as rational actors.

BTW, where the hell is turtle neck McConnell in all this? Most probably believe that Schumer is majority leader. With both sides locking horns in the Senate, it seems totally obvious that the days of getting 60 votes to pass anything are long gone. Why the hell aren’t you going nuclear Mitch, or don’t you want the Wall either? Surely you must have over 50 votes for it.

The margin of victory in MI and WI can be chalked up to a sizeable number of blacks not voting, and a marginal number of black males voting for him.

It’s hard to see this repeating in ’20, the economy is unlikely to produce another 500K manufacturing jobs, let alone 1 million. The infrastructure bill has gone nowhere, and would be hounded by the construction lobbyists clamoring to import foreign workers.

There’s some hint that Trump’s bullying of the Fed has caused them to at least think about delaying the rate hikes. Perhaps that tides him over into 2020 for some foreign policy miracle to swing “white college” voters in his favor.

I think the estimates were about that Trump got 27% of Asians, and 29% of Hispanics in ’16. It’s not impossible that he could get 35% of Hispanics presuming no recession, but it would have nil electoral impact, perhaps barely keeping Arizona in the R column.

We’ve made some hay wrt to working class wage gains, but to what extent will WWC and all working class voters credit the Administration? The total level of immigration hasn’t really changed since taking office, other than a perception amongst employers that a Clinton presidency would presage a wage-supressing amnesty and expansion of legal invasion.

  40. @Audacious Epigone

beginning the long march through the institutions.

I tend to share that view. There are many young white men who are actually quite racially conscious, even in university. There isn’t really a “meeting point” for this – we’re not really free to speak our minds like the WWC – but we just “know” who is on our side. Loose collection of pretty average white guys who don’t like what’s going on. Introspective, introverted, intelligent.

That said, most jocks / extroverts are pretty neutral about race. They only hang out with other white jocks so they don’t really care. And then there is the large segment of whites that seem to despise white people and “whiteness”. But neither of these groups seem to be likely to have a large impact on society, anyways.

Is anything going to come of this? Hard to tell. As I’ve pointed out in previous comments, they are going super hard on young white boys even in grade school. But once the cat is out of the bag it can’t go back in. And with non whites seemingly falling to the western diversions (weed, sex, abortions) even more than whites, these driven and race conscious white men might actually be able to taqqiya their way into prominent positions.

  41. @Audacious Epigone

Are you sure that old white people in the rust belt vote R? I’m going off of memory here, but I remember seeing the 65+ votes in MI split at best, and generally going D. Same thing in Minnesota.

If a Dem House caves, they’re done in 2020. Trump will be re-elected, winning all the Midwestern states. If Trump caves, he might as well resign.

The GOP lacks imagination to exploit this issue, the Dems prefer to tack DACA onto any wall deal. But a different trade could be made like coughing up Citizens United. Or a reversal of unpopular portions of the tax bill. Even the hitherto-untouchable universal background checks would be worth handing over to the left in exchange for real-terms immigration cuts. The more extremist Dems are actually more persuadable than the Dem establishment. Some might be dumb enough to think they could vote for a wall, then campaign on tearing it down.

Important to note that the left is neither a guilt or honor culture. It is a fear culture. The only thing that changes their morality is the fear of losing power.

The congressional GOP is first and foremost dedicated to its warmongering, so they will not yet proffer a diversion of DoD funds to build the wall. There is said to be some fear that Trump will get the PRC to cough up the DPRK nukes, and use it as an excuse to pull out of Korea.

  44. @Joseph Doaks

They will be disappointed so they will stay home?

I know there is a record of disappointed voters staying home. But how many past presidential elections featured demonetization of voters? Deplorables can’t afford to be disappointed. The other side hates our guts. Already the first amendment no longer applies to us.

I was born and raised in lilly white Iowa in the 50’s. I was not at all surprised when those nice white people voted for Obama. I’m in Texas now but spent most of the last twenty years in Louisiana. When I first got there I was surprised that everybody voted their skin color. Now that it’s open season on white people I honestly believe there is a white consciousness arising outside the deep south. After two more years of vilification we might find our ranks increased.

“Unionization may explain the lower rates in both the West Coast and Upper Midwest”

It doesn’t. Virtually all of the chemical plants in Louisiana for example are unionized, and are heavily white in their workforce.

The difference from the North and West is IMO due to residual goodwhite/badwhite Civil War jockeying. Northern whites still have a sanctimonious messianism about that disaster. That and those southern states being I think the blackest in the nation. Proximity wins.

Yep. Look at Woodward’s _American Nations_. The Yankees are (Puritan derived culture), once again, trying to reconstruct every other ethnic grouping in the US. They’ve done it twice before (at least): Pres. Adams, Reconstruction, and possibly the Wilson and succeeding Democratic administrations. As during Reconstruction, they are allied with the New York City (Dutch derived trading culture) establishment. Yankees want to show virtue by sacrificing what the rest of the nation has (but note the low Black & Hispanic fractions in New England, the Reform Jewish component of NYC is afraid of having to move yet again, the bankers want to continue being profitable, and the result is what we see before us: borderline sane policies backed by considerable donor money and organized media control.

The West Coast is a leisure time activity of New England / NYC culture, as its coastal cities were settled by Yankee traders and Sephardi Jewish businessmen during the later phase of Mexican control over the West Coast cities. (California countryside was settled by the American Westward expansion, a different group entirely.) The West Coast is far enough away that neither Yankees nor NYC much care about what happens there, and consider it a laboratory of sorts. One used to hear brags about that — “California leads the nation”. That was back when the experiments worked.

It’s a very old story in the US, and one that had better be settled in the near future. To put it bluntly, the rest of the nation needs to learn to think (Yankees have done the thinking for the US since the 1776 Revolution) and to show an economic acumen somewhere above that of the average Pekinese. Otherwise, it gets walked off a cliff. Again. Civil war caused some 0.6 megadeaths, Reconstruction plunged what had been a high income sector of the country into dire poverty — including the freed slaves.

Perhaps we’re seeing the first stages of such a change.

I confess I don’t understand the idea that if Trump doesn’t get his wall he is finished with his “base”. What are they going to do?

An interesting question, which really ought to be asked seriously rather than rhetorically. Remember, Trump has at most 6 more years left, at which time he will be (a) not President anymore and (b) 78 years old. At a minimum, Trump has 2 more years left (74 years old). Neither interval is long enough to make fundamental changes (barring something catastrophic). What happens after Trump?

We should see in the next day or so.
It’s a bit amazing that Trump wasn’t destroyed during his first two years. The methods employed against him had always worked before. It might have been a bit much to expect him to act other than a willow in a storm.
However, now Trump has more Republican support than before the recent elections. Tryno is also used to fighting his opponents, and it has been established that they aren’t agreement capable and that they can’t hurt him until he leaves office, but _will_ hurt him and his family and his business and his associates and probably their little dogs, too, after he leaves office. It has also been established that his base can hurt him and are about to, but will follow if he leads on implementing his campaign promises.
Trump doesn’t have to do anything, of course (Harvard Law for experimental animals — they do what they damn well please), but the incentives are all towards action. Of course, if he takes action, the Democrats will attempt some rather desperate measures to defeat him, but I suspect that Trump has enough internal Republican support to defeat these measures. On balance, action is the safest route available. It’s even minimax regret.

Trump is in an interesting position. He has to win, and win big enough to render himself and all around him safe when he finally leaves office. That would mean some very big changes as an eventual consequence of declaring a National Emergency, but it’s the only safe route. He certainly can’t surrender, the opposition is yelling “No Quarter”.

    But we’ll see.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that. Most seniors need their social security checks to get thru the month, and are paralyzed at the thought of losing them. In a govt. shutdown they believe the MSM, who always blames everything on the GOP. Millions of seniors are AARP members, and that group has become a powerful propaganda tool for the Dems.

    Holy smokes! That’s cheeky!

I hope I can count on the vote of Mr. S when it comes time for voting in the 2020 GOP presidential primary!

    Pewitt Plan:

    IMMIGRATION MORATORIUM NOW!

DEPORT ALL ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS NOW!

20 PERCENT FEDERAL FUNDS RATE NOW!

MASS DEBT REPUDIATION FOR ALL AMERICANS WITH ALL FOUR GRANDPARENTS BORN IN USA

    STUDENT LOAN DEBT REPUDIATION

CASH BACK AND TEN PERCENT INTEREST PER YEAR ON EVERY PENNY OF ANY STUDENT LOAN EVER ISSUED

the older you are the more likely you vote for the right

This is no longer quite correct.

    From CNN Exit Poll, 2016:

White age bracket [% voters]: Trump-Clinton vote split
    Whites 18-29 [12% of voters]: 47-43
    Whites 30-44 [16% of voters]: 54-37
    Whites 45-64 [30% of voters]: 62-34
    Whites 65+ [13% of voters]: 58-39
White sum, all ages [71% of voters]: 57-37

No significant gap is evident here for White b.1940s, b.1950s, b.1960s, b.1970s, b.1980s cohorts in Nov. 2016; if an age-coghort gap must be found, this data suggests to me that Generation-X Whites may have voted for Trump more than White Baby Boomers did.

  57. Audacious Epigone hits a big subject — Whites Without College Degrees(WWCDs) and how they vote.

If I could drill down into it and suggest a political answer as to how to make the WWCDs understand the importance of the immigration question even if they live in mostly White areas that haven’t been flooded with foreigners yet, I would say use the Second Amendment to make it clear that mass immigration is a clear and present threat to gun rights.

US Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont — who rightly suggested that mass immigration was a plot by plutocrats such as the Koch Boys to lower wages and displace US workers — stays away from gun bashing because the old stockers in Vermont absolutely love their guns. Even the dogs have guns in Vermont! Cats in Vermont have access to guns but they are not allowed to own them.

Whites Without College Degrees must be told that the mass immigration pushed by the ruling class of the USA is a direct attack on the Second Amendment and gun rights. Pound the Hell out of the issue and knock the snot out of politician whores such as Teddy Cruz who continue to push mass legal immigration. Pound the Democrat Party to a pulp and connect gun rights to mass legal immigration!

I also go after Shelly Adelson, Paul Singer, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Mike Bloomberg and Tom Steyer.

President Trump has bent the knee to Shelly Adelson and Carl Icahn, and that is enough for me to say that Trumpy must be primaried in the 2020 GOP presidential primary by a political leader who calls for an immigration moratorium and the immediate deportation of all illegal alien invaders.

Trump has made himself unlovable by breaking his campaign promises to reduce legal immigration

Trump has reduced legal immigration. He’s been able to use certain presidential tools to do so without congressional approval. So don’t accuse him of breaking that particular promise. Of course, everything he does by way of executive powers is likely to be reversed by the next president.

I think what most of you want isn’t the end of legal immigration, but rather the end of non-white legal immigration. But two things will frustrate that outcome. The United States is never again going to adopt such discriminatory practices, and the United States is no longer an attractive destination for most Europeans. Although I suppose Central and Eastern Europeans are still interested.

All true, but in politics you need cash to play. Simple as that. Without the donors and with a hostile media, a candidate looking out for white voters will never gain traction – unless they can self-finance like Trump.

AOC could get around Dem donors because she didn’t also have to take on the media.

The Deplorables are a large cohesive and motivated constituency. With leadership they could do a lot of good for themselves. Trump is not leading us. The Republican Party couldn’t lead a two car funeral. Trump is buying us time to get our shit together. The more time the better.

Neither the Democrats nor the Democratic Socialists give one fuck about the working class. Not even the black/brown/queer/female working class. They only care about money and race and gender. They and the establishment Republicans offer war and welfare. What we need is work and wages.

In my dreams the Deplorables take over the GOP and turn it into a labor friendly Nationalist Party. That will require leadership not now in evidence.
