No, I haven’t been murdered by SJWs yet, was just rather ill the first week of this month. And then the next week had to be devoted to getting up to date with RL things.

Anyhow, with so much going down all around the world – Syria, Ukraine, the French elections, the climate change conference wrapping up in Paris – I am looking forwards to getting back to blogging.

Posts will resume this Sunday.

Good to see you back, I’m wondering whether you have considered doing an update for your models regarding Russian demography, an update of the “Faces of the Future” post in essence that you did back in 2008. I have quite an interest in demographics and would like to see what differences seven years of data have made to Russia’s projected population size going forward.

Thanks. I have considered doing an update sometime in 2016 though I won't promise anything.

One roadblock is that I have many other projects.

The other is that I no longer have access to MatLab which I used to do those simulations. I could either try pirating it, or jerryrigging what I have to work with (free) Scilab, but the idea I'm favoring at the moment is to convert it all to R (though I am currently not proficient enough in it to do that).

  8. I was worried about you. I was about to implore Sailer or Unz drive over to your house to check on your welfare. I love your scientific take on geopolitics and your excellent writing and subtle sense of humor.
